Had the soulvaki it was so good. A big portion of meat 3 skewers :) the sauce on top was suprisingly delicious, the veggies were perfect and the rice was flavorful all served at a very reasonal price of $17.99. Would eat here again in a heart beat!

Always a good stop when we're in town. This time we enjoyed the Senior's ham and pineapple and the lasagne along with smash burger soup and tossed salad. All was very tasty and good portions
Food was ok, nothing special, I thought it was whipped cream on the French toast but it was butter or something, also I don’t understand how a Canadian restaurant don’t have maple syrup for breakfast…potato weren’t really good and not cooked enough. Over all it was ok.
Today I ordered a basic clubhouse sandwich cause they were always good from here. This one today was basically three slices of bread with 3 slices of ham (not turkey) and looks like 3 slices of bacon. Guess this was my last visit if the quality has gone this poor. Don't ask me what that round deep fried thing is in the photo. Also as a note, the loaf end was used to make this sandwich that I paid $20 for.
Tried this place once about 10 or 12 years ago. Recently decided to give it another try but all that has improved is they cleaned & the service was good. Lasagna barely had any meat in it & the sauce was too sweet. Chicken burger is pre-cooked & reheated on a flat top making it greasy & burnt. The thinnest chicken burger I've ever seen too. One half of it was surprisingly tender though so I was able to eat half of it but the other half was really tough. Fries were good, gravy was reheated & chunky but tasted good. Also the menu on thier website isn't the menu they use so if you're looking for pizza & appy's don't bother
An F for K. I am new to Regina and have been looking for good local restaurants rather than the typical fast food chains. K Family Kitchen was recommended by family who said they go a lot and really enjoy it. So I came and got the Hungryman breakfast. Things looked good, even when it arrived. But upon closer inspection, one of the slices of bacon was almost completely uncooked and another slice was crispy like it had been laid on the sun. The hash browns were very undercooked but still edible. I figured I would wait until my server dropped by to ask how everything was. Never happened. When I went to pay she asked how everything was and expressed shock when i said "not good." She said oh on what happened, so I told her. She said you should have told us. I said no one asked how my meal was until now. She said, "yeah, we're very busy today." That was it. No apology. No attempt to do anything to address it or make it right. Just a $20 charge for my breakfast and a drink. Obviously, won't be back. Too bad, as in most ways it was my kind of place -- simple and down to Earth. Just unfortunately not real concerned about the customer.
Breakfast was excellent so many options to choose. We had the hungry man and hungry women's breakfast. Loved the thick flax bread. Plenty of food at a great price. Staff were very friendly and didn't matter who was your waitress if they came buy to their table they looked after they would ask if need coffee. Small town feel in the city. Busy place. We will be making this a regular stop.

I was really excited to try this place after reading the hundred of positive reviews. My wife and I ordered breakfast and coffee. There was absolutely nothing special at all. The service wasnt great, it was okay. The food was okay, it was cooked properly, it came in a decent time, it was just bland. The best thing I found with my experience was the prices were reasonable.
was my dad s fav restaurant before he passed away (he had low standards) and i ordered a pizza a few weeks ago from there at the ripe hour of 10 am, hungover as a vegas stripper, they were the only joint open and serving za on delivery (bless up)- was disappointed to see it come burnt as frick- especially knowing the joint had just opened. i tried to do a private facebook message about the pizza many many moons ago but just like the oven timer for the pizza , the message was desolate. I hate to leave a review on a local business publicly this way, but let this be a review for not only the quality of your food, but the quality of the social media pages you run :-)

Was at family k on Thursday around 6. Ordered the breakfast 2 eggs the toast bacon and hash browns. First of all hash browns where cold. Bacon was hard as a rock and toast was so dry. The only thing I enjoy was the eggs. Will not be returning
Had breakfast here the morning of January 27th and the food was terrible. The hashbrowns were cold, bacon looked like it was cooked before then reheated. The only thing edible were the eggs. Plus the booth that we sat in smelled like a$$ and there was a fork on the floor so that tells me they dont really scan for cleaning. Service from the waitresses wasnt bad tho. I dont recommend. What a waste.
The waitress was Awesome BUT, the food was awful my hashbrowns were literally warmed up, my spinach Omelette had to much stringy onions and my side bacon was greasy. 44 dollars down the drain. NEVER AGAIN!!
First time coming here and I ordered the steak and eggs and steak was grey, I mean this thing did not look good at all, they remade it and second one came out even worse. Rest of food was decent but definitely can t recommend anything with a steak. Will never go back and wouldn t recommend going here.

My family has been going to K family for years. Its my favourite breakfast place, the staff are always friendly and the food is top notch.

Havent been there in a long time and as usual, was getting hungry. Stopped in for some good food at one of my favorite places. Sat down and was made to feel welcome and had to look over the menu for something. Hard to decide, as there is so much good food. I finally decided on the corn beef skillet. Something different and it didnt disappoint. Hard to put into words how it was, but I know be ordering it many more times when I come there. Awesome good and staff!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!! Highly recommended
Not a fan of potato chips fried for my breakfast. It would be better potato chunks fried. Other than that everything was good.

Went here for the first time today and had brunch. I got the Greek omelette. The serving size/price was decent. However, there were large chunks of onion in the omelette and all the cheese was in one corner. Our server never returned after bringing our food to ask how it was, clear plates, or let us know where to pay. Luckily I was with someone who had been before and knew to pay at the counter. I ordered a couple cinnamon buns to go and they said it would be a few minutes so instead of hovering at the counter I sat back down at my table. They knew which table we were at but never brought us the buns, so after waiting quite a while we went to check if they were ready and they were just sitting there. When I ate the cinnamon bun at home I found a hashbrown in it...

We ordered the beef patty melt and clubhouse deluxe the turkey in the club house was just processed sliced turkey the beef patty was not fresh beef it was a frozen burger something of cheap quality meat but the cheese was good both came with a heap of delicious fries with a side of lumpy gravy service was quick though we got our food almost immediately the waitress was very friendly
After 5 years figure I would try this place again totally disappointed again Order the Turkey Dinner with Gravy on the side around 3:30 pm today Dec 3/23 the waitress said was the best meal of the day to order The service was good The salad was good Turkey Dinner not good Gravy was lumpy and cold Mash potatoes lumpy and cold Vegetables soggy over cooked and cold Turkey Stuffing was mushy and cold Turkey wasn t cooked Meat was pink which looked liked it was raw meat then blood from blood vessels still in the meat where most likely meat from a bone cut from Wing Leg thigh anyways just disgusting never coming back

Good price for the breakfast special but didnt seem overly clean! :( Salt and pepper shakers both had dried ketchup or some other mystery food on them and the table still seemed dirty after we asked for it to be wiped.

Literally so bad. The ribs were tough as nails, partner almost chipped a tooth. The veggies are very obviously freezer burnt and the fries tasted like they were fried at noon and then re-fried.

We were there a few years ago and were hesitant. This time it was GREAT. The service was very good and Friendly. Very short wait for our meal and it hot, ample plate and tasty. A go back for sure and hats off to staff.
Disappointed. My girlfriend is keto and usually can not order toast and hashbrowns most restaurants make exceptions for her at no extra charge. However, they wanted to take out her hashbrowns and toast add tomatoes for an extra charge. As a restaurant people have health issues and as much as I understand most restaurants cant accomodate all health concerns and my girlfriend for the most part is willing to compromise for her health choices. I was very disappointed to know they would charge extra for a tomato but were more then willing to take away half her $15 meal to accomodate her for her breakfast at the same price. We choose not to eat and again thats unfortunate because we were both very hungry. The waitress forgot I had decaf and almost gave me regular coffee. I am sorry we will not return. Please try to be more accommodating to people who have health issues and concerns in your restaurant. Also they should get that loud creek sound in the roof looked at, the bush is to small to make that sound there. Thank you

The food was pretty good! Only issue I had was our server didnt pay a ton of attention to us or her other tables, I was never asked how things taste, she was slightly forgetful of the things I ordered which is fine. However she was much more occupied with doing her daily clean ups rather then customer service. Also please note that the K family cinnamon bun sure did not taste, or feel fresh. As well they nuke it for 2 or so minutes before it gets to you, its not gooey like youd expect or hope like every other cinnamon bun you would of had on this planet. Dont buy it not worth the disappointment. Overall was good experience likely be back again! Parking: Decent amount of parking for the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Nice friendly atmosphere for kids.

The food was absolutely delicious, portions were large for the price you pay, and all the servers were very friendly. 100% sure we ve found out new weekend breakfast place. K Family was a weekly regular for us years ago when we lived in Regina. Now that we hve moved we talk lots about missing the Pizza, the Benny and the table side chats with Ernie. He always had a friendly chit chat or ribbing to give us or the kids. We were back in town for the weekend and stopped for breakfast. The Benny x 2... As always delicious breakfast!! Nice to know that some things never change and that is a good thing! Keep it up K Family. Such good food and friendly fast service! Thanks guys
Best breakfast in town!
Had the meatlovers skillet and the bacon was raw. The cheese sau e taste like raw bacon. The second plate they brought out also had raw bacon and the hasbrowns tasted like they were a day old. I would highly recommend not eating here. I personally will never step foot into this restaurant ever again.
Wasnt happy. The toast was bread and hashbrowns were hard and undercooked. Used to love breakfast at this place, not so much now.
Oct. 21, 2022 I ordered for pick up a deluxe club house with gravy. I picked up my order and went home. When I got home I noticed my fries didnt have gravy. Then I started eating my club house and noticed a long dark hair in my sandwich. The bread was barely toasted on my sandwich. Severely disappointed with my meal.
First time visit. Was not disappointed with my breakfast and the service was top notch. We were having a short meeting over breakfast and the staff kept our coffee warm and never hassled us about sitting and taking up a spot. Food was good, service was excellent.
Very good. I had the veal cutlets and they were great, my wife had the chicken burger and it was a little small but her soup was really good. We will return. We went for the special large pizza including 1 lb. Of dry ribs, we were told that it was a pick up special only, and I couldnt figure that one because then it would have cost them a box for the pizza and a container for the ribs and maybe even a bag, if it was in store special, then those extra expenses wouldnt exist, so I hope Im going to get them to re think that, also patrons would also probably purchase a beverage, win, win for them.
I ordered a burger. The burger meat was the lowest grade of beef possible. The quality of the meat was cheap. It wasnt beef but rather the scrapings that were the cutting floor. Food

Homemade and big portions. It is so refreshing to eat somewhere that actually makes food on site instead of bringing everything in. The food was delicious and the portions big enough to feed even my hungry teens. Plus the prices are still very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Took my girlfriend here for breakfast. They burnt her food and I found multiple hairs in mine. When told it was going to be discounted 50% (keep noted we barely touched our food) Kitchen took no responsibility and only took 15% off the bill which is laughable. Waitress kept avoiding us like the plague after mentioning this. Terrible staff never coming back. AVOID! GO TO SMITTYS OR MCDONALDS OR ANYWHERE ELSE.

My friend invited me and my best friend for breakfast this morning as this was our first time here. Go figure Ive been living in Regina for 8yrs. I enjoyed this restaurant and the server was very friendly. The food(breakfast) was delicious. The coffee was very good also. I would go back and recommend it and the prices were fair for breaky anyways.

We used to go to and order in quite a bit. The last 2 times, we have been really disappointed. Yesterdays pizzas (we ordered 3) one had almost zero sauce, while the other, was literally leaking sauce (which we think has changed... sure tastes different.) Second pizza was ordered with onions, literally 4 pieces on the entire pizza. We used to love the pizza and dry ribs. Not so much these days. Maybe, with Ernie not bring there, things have changed. Staff did say that he barely comes in anymore. Very sad. Was such a good family resturant.
