3915 Albert St, Regina, SK S4S 3R4, Canada
London Belle opened their doors in September of 2016 with the goal to bring great English food to Regina. Located in the lobby of the Fairfield by Marriott, on the corner of Albert and Parliament Street. From our famous Haddock Fish and house-made Chips to Bangers and Mash. We serve local beers and spirits from across Saskatchewan, as well as a wide selection of cocktails and wine to choose from. We pride ourselves in a fun and energetic environment for all ages!
Excellent British Restaurant, was staying at the Fairfield Marriott for 3 days Mike was our server, last night we were there very pleasant and conscientious. Fish & Chips excellent, Liver & Onions very tasty. Chicken Thai with Pecans very good, Chicken Fingers were huge. Everything was reasonably priced !! My recommendations is to book reservations very busy on weekends. Will come back next time I'm in town. Would definitely recommend Fish and Chips ***5 star**
Our server was great! Just a couple things however that we didn't like. There was no Newcastle Brown Ale, but it was on the menu, couldn't get a straight answer as to if they were just out of it was no longer available. Had cottage pie, nice presentation but it was a bit too spicy. Also had the stuffed Yorkies, these tasted perfect but they weren't hot only slightly warm. The sticky toffee pudding was burned on one side, but the middle was delicious. I was also surprised that there wasn't more of a British feel, it felt more like a regular sports bar. There wasn't even Football (not American football) on any of the tv's! I should also mention that while we were eating someone cranked the music, it was very distracting. I'm not giving up however, maybe they were having a bad night, I'm going back to try a different dish.
We had a fantastic server (Austin) who had only been there 8 months but was absolutely wonderful! I had liver and onions, my husband had the fish and chips. We shared the Sticky Toffee for dessert. Best food ever! Highly recommend!!!
Absolutely fabulous Friday night dinner experience, food and drinks excellent with brilliant staff. Highly recommend eating here.
Had the beet salad with added salmon. It was hands down the best salad I have eaten . Homemade Saskatoon dressing. Crispy salmon carmelized and topped with nuts and herbs. Fast and amazing
The food was outstanding! I got the fish and chips based on the recommendation of the reviews on Google, and it did not disappoint. Very much on par with Fergies, if you've had that. Excellent service, I was being checked in on the whole evening. They put on the Jets game for me and made me a pot of decaf. The English Sticky Toffee was absolutely worth it even though I was so stuffed when I left. Peter was my server. He did an excellent job
Returned since last visit 8 month ago. Comfort tasty food. Daily special is a nice touch. I ordered a daily special, a ny steak medium rare with soup. suggested to have the soup served separately instead of on the same plate. The soup bowl is in my way while cutting the steak. Nice chicken noodles. A bit peppery. For the steak, it has a nice grill mark, but not quite medium rare. Part medium. Part medium well. Small part medium rare. I guess grill control is inadequate. Their fish n chip is definitely better. Don't forget dessert Stick toffee pudding
Fantastico!!! Best fish and chips I have had since Seattle's Pike place market many years ago. I am surprised to find such good fish chips here in Regina. Friendly and helpful waitress as well Nice decor, reminds me of the UK This restaurant needs more recognition from local folks
Great food and services
London Belle has a fish and chips special on Tuesdays, 2 very large pieces and chips for $21. The fish is outstanding!!!
Good but not great.
What a well run restaurant that also has a great menu! The fish and chips are amazing as well as the beet salad. Breakfast is included and one of the nicest hotel buffets. Parking: Fairfield Inn and Suites
Love the Deck.
It was a nice place to watch the TNF
The fish and chips are a very reliable option here.
I was expecting a pub, I got a hotel restaurant. The bangers and mash was good, the sticky toffee pudding was not. Parking: Parking is very tight.
Dined here while staying at the Fairfield inn. Great Cottage pie and excellent service. Would come here again if I am ever in town again. Great overall
Worst bacon and eggs in Regina and very high priced.
I loved the service most. Thanks to the amazing ladies who were there to make our evening special
Fish and chips were good but you should never serve seasoned frozen fries in a traditional English fish and chips meal.
Pizza was luke warm. The waitress dropped two glasses of wine. It spilled and smashed all over the table and one of our guests. Then they were slow to attend to our table. And when we went to pay, we were charged full price. Not impressed.
Quiet, excellent waiter, pleasant. I will give back. Vegetarian options: Not sure. Service : 4/5 |
Fine pub grub, great selection of local and other beers, and a friendly, efficient and knowledgeable server. A wonderful experience!
Fish-and-chips, burger House salad was excellent fresh and crisp great atmosphere. Havent been impressed with a restaurant in a long time.
Great job Mike, loved the stick toffee pudding!!
we went when its almost closing so we only ordered drinks and calamari and nachos the nachos is ok the coating on calamari is not cooked well so you can still taste the flour and spices on it the salad on it was less dressing cannot even taste anything and because they are almost closing and we are at least 10 the server was a little bit rude at first
i dont know that i ve had a worse whiskey sour. observed the bartender make it with an absurd amount of lemon juice (from concentrate) and what must have been spoiled egg white. he then sloppily dumped angostura on top and after 1 sip I wanted to vomit. when i asked to be closed out the bartender couldn t have cared to ask how i enjoyed myself. paid for my drink and tipped well, but definitely staying away from the london belle drink menu!!
We had a great meal. I had the fish and chips and they where great.
Amazing service and food was delicious!
Our very first experience at this restaurant and it was one of the best. Food and service was excellent. Casual dining at its best. Highly recommend.
Placed an order on the skip the dishes, they confirmed it. Waited 50 minutes then the skip driver went there. And London claimed they never accepted the order.
Very good food. Had the steak sandwich, done perfectly, medium well, but it was a bit fatty/grisly. Service was great though I wasnt told the soup od the day(clam chowder) which I may have tried!
Nice place but small... My burger was goo, tasty, favorable!
A little crowded feeling but great service. Very friendly people. I personally only had the whipped hot chocolate, no food, but the drink was tasty.
One of the best Palces in Regina. Loved their cocktails, fish and chips were outstanding, 3 cheese pizza was the best abd their backed Rosa was delicious too. Will definitely revisit this place. The cheese cake was the perfect way to end this amazing meal.
Excellent Fish and chips. The coleslaw wasnt my fav, not much flavour.
I m just trying to figure out how this is cottage PIE? I m really disappointed with the food I got today. Seems like powdered/instant mashed potatoes were used. It tastes awful!
Just to add some context I had booked with anothe restaurant for a 50th birthday with 16 guests which was cancelled with less than 24 hours. Frantic I call a number of restaurants to no avail. As we were staying in the Marriott hotel I thought I would call London Belle YQR, just to see and if they was any possibility, to my surprise it was a resounding yes, I was so shocked I had to call back and just confirm to get another yes with a giggle or two. I was told they will make it work one way or another. I was so grateful as the stress the other restaurant had caused was gone in a flash. On the day I had a cake from a local patisserie which they stored for me too, placed us in at the end of the restaurant with a break in the middle of the table which was absolutely perfect. Myself and my partner (who the birthday was for) went down at five for a drink in the bar and we were sat on the table early which was amazing. The mixologist / bar man was very well versed and as a result our drinks were divine. Slowly more and more guests arrived and drinks were catered for almost instantly by the mixologist / bar man. He really looked after the table and there was no rush, it allowed all 16 of us to catch up with each other and like a psychic he was there just as we thought maybe we should order taking our meal choices. Being a Brit I had the fish and chips and it is the best battered fish I have had in Regina, this is very authentic, the fries were nice but not the same as our English chips but I think that s a cultural thing. Everybody was amazed at the quality of the food and considering their was a table of 16 most of us were all eating together, maybe a couple of us had to wait a few minutes which in my opinion is awesome service. The atmosphere is very modern chic and the decor is calming. I didn t feel like I was in a chain but I also still felt it was upscale. Music was on low which was nice so that we could talk. It s a cozy place as it s not huge but I felt the service was far more personable. They brought the cake out singing happy birthday and it was lovely as they gave us a knife to cut it which I had forgotten and plates with cutlery to slice up and eat. We were never rushed and as such we were there from 1700 to 2230, it was a very relaxing evening and eternally grateful to London Belle for accepting our booking. I want to give a big thanks personally to Amanda, Donna and Peter for their tremendous hospitality throughout the evening. All of them really made that evening something special and it was sincerely appreciated and will be remembered. Additionally I would like to thank Tim the owner who introduced himself to us graciously and thanked us for choosing London Belle as our venue. If this place isn t or hasn t been on your radar please change that! I am so happy that the other restaurant cancelled so that we ended up here as it was a perfect night. All off our friends were also impressed by everything. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options
Weve eaten here twice now and the food was fantastic. Had the fish and chips and it was really good, will be back again.
Good food, friendly staff.
Incredibly kind staff! Great selection of beer with local craft and domestic big beer both equally represented. Was given a beer for free for my troubles when my flight was first delayed and then canceled leaving my fiancé and I stranded in town. A totally unnecessary but incredibly kind gesture.
The staff are top notch.
Best fish n chips in town!
I went for lunch with co-workers between 12 and 1 pm. They all enjoyed the fish lunch special. I didnt want fish, so I ordered the underground burger with fries. The burger was too charred or burnt around the edges for me. I ended up picking the black bits off and just eating the middle. I didnt like the pickles onion that were on the burger. I did like the season crispy fries. I will not be going back. The restaurant is set up formally and pub style.
Friendly service but overly dry BLT.
Best fish and chips wow. Also amazing service.
What a great hidden treasure!! Amazing food, fair pricing! Our server, Kathryn was incredible! She was the only server on, and it was a fairly busy supper tonight and she never made us feel rushed. So happy we happened upon this place!
Will never go in this again. Went in sat down as server was chatting with a customer outside the seating area. In 10 minutes we were sitting no one else in. Server saw us and ignored us. He should be gone from that job now. No excuse for that ignorant lack of respect. The owner needs to take the blame for this kind of sloppy attitude of staff.
The fish and chips were very good. The service was good, as well, and our waitress asked if I would like my chips extra crispy which is the way I like them. The fish is haddock which I know some people prefer. My two favourite fish are halibut and cod. I would have preferred that option.
Great fish & chips. Worth paying for the extra piece of fish. Chips were excellent. Service couldve been a little more pleasant, but overall its a nice environment.
Great
Food great. Beer great. Atmosphere great. Service great.
Absolutely delicious! Favourite place to go for fish and chips.
Our order was an hour late- the meal portions were very small, not enough to feed my family- the price was very expensive, the food was cold and greasy- never again- terrible food and service.
Great fish. Best fish compare to other restaurants in Saskatchewan. Definitely visit again.
Fried pickles were great, and fish and chips amazing. Never thought Id have that good a meal at a small hotel lounge. Needs more exposure Food
Been there for famous fish and chip, wow it does good like im in britain the otherday. Service was friendly and great, vote for best fish and chip in regina, will come back soon
Service and ambiance are great . Im disappointed with my steak sandwich, meat was only placed on top of a small butter flavored bread with fries and over cooked (semi burned) sauteed mushrooms.
When a restaurant which is almost 2000km from the sea claims to have authentic style fish and chips, any Englishman treats that claim with suspicion. London Belle did a fine job with their Tuesday special, 2 pieces with chips for $20. Great taste, great value
Incredible food, and amazing service!
Pepi was exceptional as our server. Truly a master of the hospitality field and such a warm atmosphere was provided along with friendly faces to boot.
The fish and chips were good.
Fish was absolutely golden
A little pricey, but not bad. We went for after dinner drinks and dessert.
Nice sitting on the deck and having a cold brew.
There for the fish and chips.
Stopped in for a quick appy of mussels. They did not disappoint. 10/10
Ordered Greek ribs to go. Got 6 so called Greek ribs, very small, hard as a rock and totally disgusting. No preparation in this one, very pricey for over cooked what ever this was.
Amazing food! Great atmosphere, the patio had some lovely loveseat style sitting. Intimate and wonderful server
I went to this restaurant for the first time, it has a good atmosphere and the patio was also beautiful, the service and the server were wonderful, the fish and chips were good, i recommend this restaurant
Been here a couple of times already. The fish in the fish and chips and their house salad are good. Other things I have tried so far were average. Their burgers were smaller than I expected. Might go back to try their pizza. The restaurant looks clean and well-maintained and the service is pretty good. Overall a decent place to eat
Very nice place and good food!
This deserves to be its own establishment, and not part of a hotel. The fish and chips are the reason I come here, and theyre reasonably priced for the quantity. The taste is delicious and flaky, fish and chips done right.
This is a great little lunch spot. The food was good the drinks not so great I had a caesar. But over all great and I would definitely will go back.
Wait staff is excellent and the fish and chips are the bestest of the bestest
Always a good meal and great service.
This is the best fish and chips ever. Words fail me. Perfectly battered and fried. Large portions. The fries, tartar sauce, and slaw are also spot on. I rate this double 5 stars!
Best place in Regina for fish and chips, it s not even a competition. Everything that came with the dish was spot on! The coleslaw, fries, the fish
Spent five days at hotel. Food was great. Service was great. Friendly and prompt.
It might be ok for the pub scene but it is very over priced and portions are not worth it, with so many other places to go. They could do some research on the price of very good fish and chips in Regina (flown in fresh) and the price. Try adding mushy peas, gamon steak, steak and kidney, if one is going to call it English make it English.
I would reccomend this restaurant to everyone coming through Regina! It was right across from our hotel so we ordered food to take back to our room. Everything was perfect, staff were very professional and fun. Food was sooooo delicious! We had the bangers and mash, cottage pie, and spinach dip. I wish I could eat this again and again!
On Oct 8, 2023 my family and I came in for thanksgiving supper. When the reservation was made, they asked how many turkey dinners, we said 4. In turn we decided 2 turkey dinners and 2 off the menu. When the waiter came, we were informed that they had run out of cabbage rolls, so in place was sausage. When we received our meals, we were disappointed as the turkey was dry, the dressing was like purée and tasteless, the potatoes were burnt as well as black pieces of burnt potato on our plate. The chicken and salmon for the other 2 meals were over cooked and dry. As a first time attendee, I do not know if we will recommend or refer your establishment for special occasions. Normally I do not complain about meals in other restaurants, but this was highly disappointing. In future I hope that possibly changes could be made to improve special occasion meals.
We have only been here twice, but will definitely be returning often! The first time, I noticed how many people were ordering the fish and chips, and we can now report that they are as good as they look! We did not have to wait long for a table either time, although they are always busy.
Had a great time there. Showed up with 30 of us and basically took over the place. Staff were a little over run, but did their best . Even stayed late and kept us fed and watered as long as they could !
Brunch was sub par. Very little selection. The hashbrowns were a deep-fried patty like the ones from Tim Hortons. The toast was buttered with some kind of garlic butter for breakfast. Wouldnt go back for brunch.
No complaints at all. Quality food with a lovely British twist served fast with a friendly smile.
Good food, but I would love more English breakfast concepts.
The food was good overall and our server was great. The fish and chips were just alright in my opinion. One of my friends had the cottage pie and recommended it.
Great fish and chips with large portions of fish which are hand battered on sight, not just out of a box.
This was the perfect place to have a glass of wine with a friend I hadnt seen in a long time. The photos is of the artwork that greets you when you walk through the doors of the hotel. I love animals and art, so it was a great first impression.
Thank you ..
I had Fish and chips. Found it to be very greasy.
The calamari did not taste like real calamari. The steaks tasted as if it were just unfrozen in a microwave and overall very disappointed in the food
The waitress is the only redeeming quality of this establishment.
First time at this hotel, and this restaurant. I have to say at first by the looks on the outside this wouldn t be my first choice. But after coming here the service was absolutely phenomenal! The gentleman you have working goes above and beyond to make your guest feel comfortable and taken care of. At first I was a bit sceptical to order pasta at a English pub. But this was one of the best pesto chicken pastas I have had in a LONG time. I base which hotel I stay at off how good the food is! I will be back to this hotel just for the food and the service in the restaurant alone. Very well done !
The fish is outstanding, waitress was new and did just wonderfully. All around great. Tater nachoz were a good change from normal tortilias.
Awesome food, great service Lisa our server was amazing. The dessert Toffee Pudding was amazing!
Had the cottage pie and some wings delivered, it was extremely underwhelming. No utensils as requested.
Service was fantastic. The happy hour is long and there are some great daily specials on the menu. Hefty servings of good pub food. Had the stuffed yorkie to start, a burger, curry bowl, fish and chips, and liver and onions at the table. Everyone was very satisfied. The burger seemed a bit small at first but packed a flavourful punch that more than made up for it. The sticky toffee pudding is on the very sweet side of desserts. Cozy seating (call ahead for larger groups) and a nicely appointed bar. Small, but tasty, selection of canadian beers on tap This was the second visit and the first was in the opening year. Much more impressed this time.
Great wait staff, awesome drinks. Food was decent, cant complain!
B E S T fish and chips ever. Apple crisp for desert was stroke worthy! Highly recommend this place for Valentines day !
We tried this restaurant because we were staying at the hotel its connected to. We sat around 7:25. We finally ordered before 7:40 (We had a different dinner reservation and I called the restaurant to cancel at 7:40). We ordered wings for an appetizer but we didnt get in until 8:18 after I asked if the wings were ready. I feel for an appy it shouldnt take almost 40 mins. The wings were good but our mains werent so much. Our daughter ordered chicken tenders and only got 2. I am assuming the server is new because she had to take our menu to prove the order does include 3 chicken tenders. They made another one so we appreciate that. We came the weekend before Valentines so we tried their valentines special. We ordered medium rare steak but our steak was over cooked. It definitely was not medium rare. The whole meal was just dry and you can taste the grill marks. Overall just wasnt satisfied with the order that I didnt bother finishing it. It was a $40 meal. I have served in the past and the one thing was they never did a quality check. The server never asked how our meal was. We did tell her she didnt do a quality check when she handed us our bill and she apologized. We wont be coming back.
Me and my wife went there and had fish and chips for lunch.it was awesome will definitely be going back.waitress was very good at her job the only bad thing was the cole slaw could of been better..
My wife and I decided to order in and give this place a try. We ordered the fish and chips and a wings appy. The fish batter was really good still crispy when it arrived and the wings were crispy. The couple of things I would say that would have earned a 5 star review from me is that I wish they had a cod option for the fish, and the wings were a bit under seasoned for our taste, we got salt and pepper wings and really couldnt taste the salt or pepper. Over all though the food was good and we would order/visit again.
Its smaller than what I expected but they serve great fish and chips along with many other English dishes.
Great food great people
Cozy place with good food and karaoke
After years of waiting, I decided to give London Belle a try. Walking in, it has a nice British Modern decor going on. Fitting for an upscale British Pub. The servers were very friendly. However, upon ordering drinks, their knowledge was somewhat lacking. We ordered the stuffed yorkies. they were on the bland side. The roasted corned beef was quite dry and it gave a strange texture and flavour to the dish. I ordered the Fish and Chips. Afterall, thats what they were known for. The fries were a little on the weird side, but tolerable. the tartar sauce was quite good. the coleslaw tasted old, and quite wilty. As for the fish, although the fish was a beautiful crisp golden brown on the outside, it was doughy and mushy on the inside. The texture was not pleasant. The fish itself was also very bland.
Fish & chips and Yorkshire Pudding for the win.
Great fish and chips.
I ve eaten in Restaurants all over Canada with my job for 30 years. The best fish and chips I ve come across.
Excellent lunch, enjoyed the friendly staff and atmosphere.
Food was good but not enough staff. There was one waitress who was doing all the jobs of hostess, waitress, bartender, and bussing tables. I dont think she was cooking the meals too but she might have been. Service was slow obviously. Hire more people!
The meal itself was actually quite good (fish & chips) that s not the reason for the negative review. I ordered two pieces so I d have one extra piece to take home. My group went outside for a cigarette (like we had multiple times through the night) but when I came back the staff had thrown away my meal that o had JUST asked to be boxed. I asked how this could be remedied; discount, gift card, make another piece of fish but the response was Haha, sorry! I didn t find it nearly as funny as the staff member did, I suppose. My only other gripe was that most of the craft beer I tried to order was not available (about 3). There was also clearly not enough staff on either of my two visits; prepare to wait awkwardly long to be tended to / to receive drinks.
Very laid back relaxing atmosphere! Good service and perfect lighting Love the pillows
Great atmosphere. Kat was especially excited to help me get the right beer. Highly recommend this place for all.
I got the fish and chips with gravy and apple cake. The fish was greasy, higher cooking temp would resolve thay issue, coleslaw was horrible and metallic, the Apple cake didnt have any hint of Apple.. if there was amd apple is was drown in a sauce, I would suggest serving the sauce on the side, that way I could of skip it. The staff member that took my order was lovely
Ordered fish and chips was the most divine dining experience. when our food arrived it tasted like the best lick of heaven I have ever experienced. This is a dining experience fit for the queen. Customer service is amazing. Even the ketchup behad quite an elegant hint to it. Highly recommended for the best fish and chips in Regina.
Best fish and chips since Blue Schooner.
Awesome fish and chips. My only complaint is that everyone in our ordered 2 pieces of fish and could only finish 1. They are huge and they should let the customers know.
Had great food. Nice atmosphere and staff.
Tasty, casual dining! My friend and I had excellent service as we were the only ones in to eat a late lunch. The food came quick and to order ! I loved having grilled salmon as an option to add onto my salad and my friend says they have the best fish and chips in town!
Service was great our waitress was so nice, but the food was absolutely horrible, it almost made my girlfriend throw up.
Great place, love the fish and chips! The fish wings were amazing as well
Servers were nice. Ordered a steak sandwich. The title of sandwich was misleading but I may just be uncultured. Wasn t asked how I wanted it cooked and steak came back well done. Sent it back for one cooked medium rare and the steak I got was a little undercooked, had a strange taste to it, and was very chewy. Servers were understanding and attentive though.
Great English food menu - best fish & chips Ive had since I left England 50 years ago. My grandson had a Cottage Pie, something he had never had before, and raved about it. Portions are HUGE - neither of us could finish and had to pass on ordering the sticky toffee pudding - just no room left for it. Highly recommended
Tasted like everything was from a box.
This place moves slower than molasses. The dinner (cottage pie-$17) wouldn t feed a toddler. Way overpriced and cold on arrival. If there was a half star, they d get it.
Service was great, but the mushy peas were really dry.
Nice atmosphere, good food, happy hour specials and great service. What more could you ask for!
Ate here three times. First time i asked for medium rare steak it came well done. I was hungry after my long work week. Second time same thing I asked for rare it came burnt. Soup came same time meal came. I thought maybe ill try at lunch time Ordered California blt. They had to remake it as there wad no avocado sauce and not toasted. I will not be returning to eat here. I gave them three chances.
We were a large group (20+ people) Who rented the conference room our first night there to be able to eat with kids running around, then moved to the patio. The food was great, and our drinks quickly replenished. On the second night of our stay, our server went above and beyond, knowing our group was gathering to attend a funeral, surprised us with a sympathy card and bulbs to plant in memory of our family member on our second night. Fabulous service and great food - we will be back!
Delicious food! Some of the waiters need better customer service, others are spectacular! Aside from needing to weed out some servers this is a great dine in restaurant!
Excellent service! Bartender was extremely knowledgeable about beer and the various offerings on tap, and all the service was very friendly. Fish and chips was fantastic and portions were very generous. Ill definitely be back when Im in town again!
Friendly staff. Awesome service. Good quality food and beverages. Nice environment. Parking: Free parking available
Decent food and service gets a decent mark
Food and service was excellent
So far, this place takes the prize for the worst customer service of the year. Canada day, early afternoon, two families go in together. Only one or two other small groups in the place. After I watch the server treat two other customers rudely I was a little apprehensive. I figured I could win her over with kindness. 20 min in, it s not going well, she is just a mean woman who hates her job. My wife joins us and suggests we move to the patio as it is a beautiful afternoon. I warned her about the server but she approaches anyway and asks about us moving to the patio. She is told in a pouting, 6 year old tone, you know, I am the only one here. My wife says, that s ok and we move our own cutlery and water out. We all look at each other bc we are getting a little tired of the service. After a few more interactions with her where she is just nasty to speak with, and by nasty I mean plain grumpy, no smile, no courtesy, no manners, ( we don t have that, we don t have this, looking at us like we ran over her dog) , .think the exact opposite qualities you would hope for in a server, we decided to leave. After 30 minutes I was the only one who had got a drink so I went in to pay for my beer. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. If I could give it negative stars I would. Cross the road and walk a block down to Original Joes. It was awesome. Great food, drinks , and amazing service. We dropped around $400 after some more friends joined us.
Friendly staff, awesome service. Food was great with lots of selections. I love their Huckleberry quinoa salad with salmon. Drinks, specially their margaritas were right on. Thank you
Nice vibes
We were staying at the Fairfield Inn and decided to give this a try as it was in the hotel lobby and well rated. My partner and I sat at the bar and really enjoyed the service, drinks and meals (Deep fried pickles, Fish & Chips and Pasta of the day). Also reasonably priced. Marriott should have more restaurants like this attached to their hotels instead of generic lounges. Id recommend and will stop here again next time were in Regina.
Absolutely great tasting food ! We will be back ! The portion size for the fishNchips is awesome.... Bring your appetite for sure. our waiter (Issac) was on point .... excellent experience
Great food while staying there for work.
The London Belle Curry Bowl was Delicious!! I will be back for more ! Our waiter was great , he was quick and efficient. I loved the decor in the whole place , was a nice vibe.
Best fish & chips, large selection of tap and cans both local and import. Very nice decor inside, cozy patio. Family had the liver & onions and bangers n mash, and loved it all. Would recommend for a delicious meal and pint.
Service was poor. Food was warm not hot, and description of salad a bit off. Asked our server about happy hour as she didnt make any mentioned of it or specials, and she went through them, said the special was pizza and wine. And i think its $15 how do you not know what the price is, like i think it might have enough money to pay the bill. Food took about 20 mins to come maybe longer, and then didnt really see the server again. The table across from us got there food, and again never checked in on them or us. Good thing we didnt really need anything. Overall, food was okay, nothing special, service was poor. Would I come back again, probably not.
Really good food, awesome service. I went for my birthday and the waitress sang to me with my free dessert! She also informed me the cottage pie was smaller which may be fine if I wanted dessert, which I did! Those I was with really enjoyed the fish and chips! Desserts we had were very yummy.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is in a hotel so it is quite accessible. Food
Had the steak sandwich with tomato soup. Both very good.
Food good too bad that there is no more karaoke Saturdays... live in city go Saturdays spend around $100 to 120 and apparently people staying at hotel possibly one visit complain well enjoy when no Grey Cup and no Agribition and hotel is not busy. You lost locals and dollars they spend. Well your loss. The bright person whom canceled karaoke. Just lost profits.
Best fish and chips of the town! The only suggestion would be a better local beer selection!
Best fish and chips in Regina, hands down!!
Food is always good, and the service is amazing!
The food is good.
Food and service was amazing
Excellent food. Great service.
Their signature dish (in my opinion) is their fish and chips, done perfectly every time. The restaurant is small and intimate, and the staff is always friendly and cheery.
I have eaten fish and chips around the world on my holiday travels and this unassuming little restaurant has the best nosh this side of London town!! We shared a few starters- the stuffed yorkies and calamari - and were instantly blown away. They were absolutely delicious. The calamari was so tender and the pickled onion on top was too die for. We asked about the delicious corn beef used for the yorkies and were told the chef makes it in-house. It beats any I have ever eaten (and I grew up on british stepmoms corn beed hash- sorry mum). The fish and chips were so yummy - the tartar sauce doubles as a dip for your fries cause it was just that good. My son tells me the hickory stick burger is his new favorite comfort food. The sticky toffee pudding we shared for dessert disappeared so fast I couldnt get a picture before the crew took it down...lol! The servers were very attentive and friendly, the music was good, the beer selection was abundant and cold, the bathrooms were spotless - what more could a girl want! **With the restrictions we were told they now offer take out so I can have their fish and chips even through the resent lock down in Regina! Cant wait!
Fish and chips are delicious. Take out fish was still crispy half an hour later. All the fixings, including malt vinegar, are provided!
Excellent service. Food was good quality and portions were healthy.
We went there on Saturday afternoon before fathers day. The meal we very good! We had some fish and chips and burgers. Their fries are very good! The service was great and the beer were cold! Would recommend London Belle!
Great food, great service!
The best fish and chips in town!
Came today for my dads birthday. His dad was from England so an English restaurant holds a special place in his heart. It did not disappoint. Our two servers were very pleasant, stuffed yorkie appetizer was FABULOUS....our party of four all had the fish and chips. Wow. The fish was crispy yet very light. The fries mustve been battered because they were crunchy and great. I cannot recommend this place enough. We came and ate early which was good because now I just want to nap. And to top it off, had a flight of tasty beer. :)
Its a cool place and I love it
Lovely lounge and friendly staff.
Fish and chips were greasy, portions small and the fries were limp and oily
Good food.. staff was a bit over busy though with just not enough folk to manage the groups
Bit of a let down
Great experience! 100/10 small but local place. Would recommend to everyone
Great service and good food with nice pricing. Warm and welcoming staff!
Curry Linguini. Yum
Always friendly service and a friendly environment
This restaurant is very welcoming, clean and well furnished. As can be gathered by its name it had the appearance of a British pub, right down to the Union Jack pillows. The fare was typically Beitish as well. We started with the small Yorkshire puddings stuffed with shredded meat and braised red cabbage. For dinner we had lovely fish and chips which was nicely presented in a large bowl lined with pseudo newapaper. The service was very good and prompt. We will be returning to try the other menu items.
Disappointing
Great fish and chips!!!
I enjoy this lounge ...quiet place to have dinner and just relax.....when I need a break ...this is a good place to be. Dennis
The fish wings were awesome, the entertainment was a nice addition but the Staff were quiet simply AWESOME, THANK YOU.
We stay at the Fairfield Inn regularly and eat at The London Belle quite often. Service is always very warm and efficient. The food is very tasty and good value. I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.
Loved the fish and chips
Great patio! Server Emma is awesome!
Excellent food and service. Had a great burger and awesome desert!
Although due to pandemic, there are a lot less people there, it is still cozy and its well kept. Waitress really attentive and food really good all around our table.
The fish and batter were excellent. The chips were slightly bitter due to either being overdone or from oil that needed changing. Coleslaw wasnt good either. Fish and batter was so good Im still giving 4 stars. Im definitely down with ordering the fish again.
Amazing food and friendly service. Very good portions and a great price for such great quality!
Good fish and chips. Texture was perfect and chips were spot on. Tyler our server was great, though he probably could have benefited from a bit more help as he was the only front end staff for the whole restaurant. Also the Sunday menu is truncated so no pies are available. Would be worth trying again on a Friday night maybe when the place might be busier.
We are huge fans of the London Belle as they have the best fish and chips in the city. Since covid we have enjoyed the same great food through take out. We live 30 minutes away from the restaurant and the fish is still crispy when we pick up and eat at home. The mussels are so delicious our family from the coast said they are the best they have ever eaten -the sauce is absolutley amazing! Cant say enough about this restaurant- a family favorite for sure!!
This is a neat little place. Fish and chips are really good. Its best to dine outside during summer time. Ceasar salad good too
Great English Pub made me think I was back in my favorite pub in Southhampton, UK. Great fish and chips and draft beer. Server Kassandra added fantastic service abd that personal touch.
