People are not kidding when they say it is a great place. Customer service, environment and food were great. The regular sized Donaire was big, the big one was huge, could eat the rest for breakfast. Big shout-out for who work at night there, had a lot of patience with his clients.
Visited on Friday November 8, 2024 Amados Pitta is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for fresh halal meat and a wide range of grocery items at reasonable prices. The place is kept impeccably clean, adding to a pleasant shopping experience. The customer service is excellent; staff are attentive and always willing to help with any questions. Whether you’re picking up fresh meat or everyday essentials, Amados Pitta delivers quality and great service. Highly recommended!

Visited that place yesterday with my boyfriend. We got large beef donair wrap which was not exactly beef. It was mixed with lamb. I personally got chicken wrap. I don’t think the meat was fresh. I wasn’t feeling good after my meal and same today. It was my only meal for the day. I got food poisoning. Not happy and I don’t think i ever coming back.
During my work visit, a colleague took me to a nearby bakery renowned for its fresh pita bread and shawarma. The rice bowl I ordered exceeded my expectations, both in taste and portion size. The staff and owner Mr. Raju were exceptionally courteous and accommodating.
Went to Amado’s for the first time today. Had their chicken shawarma and also tried the beef platter, it was really good. We really enjoyed the food, good quality. Feels like they can increase the quantity that they serve. The owners are really nice and friendly, asked us multiple times if everything is good, they also gave us complimentary cookies and drinks. If you like sweet drinks you’ll love the peach drink. Will definitely go there again.
Lebanese cuisine is very diverse and flavourus. I tried lamb pitas in different countries closer to origin 🙃 and they were more juicy. Might ask for more sauce with garlic next time. Very friendly people, asked to put wrapped pita on grill and they did. I'm surprised that they don't do it for everybody. What can be better than crunchy pita?
Horribly expensive and worst quality food in the city. Can't believe the 100 grams of rice cost me $28. Small rice $11.99 and medium rice $15.99. There is no difference between 2 sizes. Small salad was $11.99. Salad was not even 50 grams. Chicken was bone dry. This was the most expensive rice I've ever had. Will never return to this restaurant. Bad bad bad.......

I ordered the large chicken shawarma and baklava for delivery through Uber. Wow! I could easily have fed two people with the shawarma and it was so tasty. I expected a piece of baklava or perhaps two. There were eight pieces. I will definitely be ordering again.
Place seems busy enough but thought the Lebanese food was just ok. Disappointed that the falafel were not made fresh on-site but brought in frozen. They also didn t have enough Tabbouleh for one person and this was prior to the lunch rush. Seemed like it was not made fresh and was left over from day before or earlier. Didn t taste fresh.
I love this place. Try the platter!! Their hummus is delicious and the lamb is very well seasoned. But for me, the rice on the platter is the best. Vegetarian options: Falafel is damn good here. Platters and salads are portioned very well. Parking: Not bad at all, it gets a tad crazy at lunch hour, I like to go at 11:30am.
Get lunch spot. Service is good. Usually pick up though, not a super nice place to sit and eat.
Ive been coming here for years. The food is fantastic and always so tasty. The atmosphere could use some work but this is more of a grab and go type place.
It must ve been the owner who served me because the experience was over and above. Super friendly and very personal. My go to there is the felafel wrap. Ingredients are always too shelf fresh and everything is spotless. Highly recommended. Their new location on North Albert Street also has the grocery store. Parking: It s located at the old Albert North auto so they have a huge parking lot.

Its a pretty basic no frills eatery, but the food and staff make it worthwhile. The pitas are great and the staff are very friendly and efficient.
Got the lamb pita and it was delicious. Was pretty big too. Also tried the baklava as well and it was really good. The people are so friendly. This is new go to place

Large pita is LARGE! Had the beef Donair with all the fixings. Did not disappoint. Some impressive imported confectionery.
Wouldnt recommend the chicken unless you like shredded chicken, lamb is good though,one of the better donairs in town

Best pitas in the city. The lamb pita was my favourite. Food was fresh and quick (though it was not busy at the time) and staff were friendly. There is also a lovely little grocery store.
Grabbed take out for supper and we really liked it! Got some tasty baking too. Im glad that I found this little out of the way place. I think this would make great catering, but it was nice and easy as a quick supper too.

The bread was decomposing with the sauce. The amount of sauce was irregular, as it melted the bread and I could not finish my food

Wow, $13 for a small platter. 50grams of meat, a cup of rice, tablespoon of hummus and no pita. Such a ridiculous rip off. Stay away

Good stuff. It doesnt have all that flair that pita pit has but sometimes you dont need that. Sometimes you just need a down to earth pita and this delivery is on point. I recommend it.

Just ordered through Uber Eats. HUGE wraps, delicious meat, loved the rice, fresh/quality veggies. But the customer service was the best part! I requested lots of turnips on the wraps and they did not disappoint, and I also asked for some tzatziki on the side, if possible, with a note that the kids like to dip. They sent the tzatziki AND an extra pita! My kids were sooo happy! And my littlest who is sick and has barely been eating only ate the plain pita and tzatziki. So thanks for that, you definitely made our day! Love this place so much! Kid-friendliness: They went above and beyond to make our kiddos happy! So impressed

Excellent pita shells. Very fresh.I like all the other products in the store. Hadnt shopped there for a few years. Bought some pita shells a Safeway they where so thick and old. Couldnt eat them. Amados Pita was featured on TV. Like that you could order take out. Great variety of meat to choose from.

My husband and I love shawarma so we picked this place since it was close to where we needed to go in Regina. I had the chicken pita, he had the meat platter. My food was underwhelming... It was not bad, but it was forgettable. The spicy chicken had absolutely no flavour and the garlic mayo was very bland. I ordered manakish as well (they are frozen, 4 in a bag) to take home. These were much more flavourful than our meals, so I would recommend these.

I ordered pitas for delivery. The flavours were good but the ordering system was a touch confusing for me so I think I could ve probably received an order closer to what I expected if I knew how to navigate it better. I will definitely order from here again, it s good!
I work nearby and for lunch I would recommend you try their lamb in a pita. Everytime delicious, the staff are friendly. Foods consistent, and so am I as a customer.

First time there...really nice huge falafel pita with hummus, tzatziki, purple turnips, banana peppers and tabooluh...about $15...a little pricy...shared it with husband. Everything was fresh and so tasty...definitely returning.

Food was plentiful & very good. Walking in it smells fantastic with onsight bakery. Lucky to have them open for ordering with pandemic issues but very friendly & wanting u to enjoy the experience. Spoke with owner who gave free samples of the lamb with spiced sauces. Will definitely go back again.
Loved the medium lamb with veggies, taziki and sweet chili sauce. I will be back again! Pick up some pita shells and make some home made pizza in the oven or microwave. The kids love them!

Used to love this place. The staff were so friendly. Went in for supper tonight and halfway through making the wrap the woman making my wrap took her mask off, preceded to wipe her nose then go back to making the wrap without washing her hands. I m not a clean freak but what the heck. So unfortunate to see this places standards have gone down hill.

I regularly come to Amado s with my girlfriend because we live nearby and love donairs. Incredible pitas that don t get soggy and one of the few places in this city that can properly make a donair. The size of the donairs are MASSIVE and I am not exaggerating! Great choices for toppings, cheeses and sauces. About $15-$16 for a large with cheese so a tad pricey but it s definitely worth it for the amount you get and you really feel like you re helping a family run shop. One of the only issues I have is sometimes the freshness and cleanliness of the food preparation area could be slightly better, hopefully this improves soon because that s pretty much all the shop needs to improve on!

I just went here today and I am absolutely in love!!! This has to be my new favourite place for pitas! The staff made it exactly how I wanted and were so friendly! Five star hands down ! Can t wait to come back!
