Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Regina

Too many indian staff and the once elegant place is now intimidating,is this owned by Indian owner?this might be our last visit to this place,ambience is soo different now.im a local but i guess i have to share how i think it is now a days

The service gets a little bit slow when it comes to serving people in busy times such as lunch and supper, which should not be. The food is good and tasty, so there are no complaints about that. Vegetarian options: There are also veg options available on the menu that are worth trying. Kid-friendliness: This place is a kid friendly place as its a family restaurant

Usually my experiences at Olive Garden have been positive but the most recent time was pretty bad. The service was very slow, rude, and unprofessional. We weren t offered wine tasters like usual, had to ask and then didn t get them till after our meal after repeatedly asking. Wine and water glasses came out dirty with aftertaste from whatever was in them last. My ordered one soup, received a different one, and than had to wait at least 15 minutes for the right one. Overall this time around was pretty disappointing but I suppose most of it can be attributed to the server we had that day. For the type of place this is the food is what you would expect (think Boston pizza, brewhouse level).

Amazing service, amazing food, breadsticks were always filled. Definitely the best location I ve been to! Food

Service was slow , honey wanted Alfredo instead of meat sauce on her ravioli and it was 5 extra fricken dollars. Talk about a scam forreal. Will be back but not switching the sauce.

Dont even know where to start. Food was good the rest was horrible.

Thee worst service I have ever experienced. We waited 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table. She took our complete order as we were scared to just order drinks and then have to wait another 20 for her to take our food order. Received our soup 15 minutes later. When my husband requested another bowl of soup she brought the wrong kind. Then we waited another 40 minutes for our food with no Coke or water refills although she did ask if we wanted some. My husband received the wrong food from a different waitress. Then we waited for someone to check us us so he could let them know he received the wrong order. 20 minutes later he had to go find someone. Another 10 minutes the manager finally comes over. He gets the correct food finally and tells us the next time we come in he will give my husband a complimentary meal. As IF we will ever go back there. Very disappointing for a $90 meal. Unbelievable. AND this debacle started at 3pm when they were not their busiest.

I see how they can offer all you can eat salad and bread sticks...they werent served until 15 minutes after the appetizer came out. We asked for a bit more salad and breadsticks, and those came out after our meals arrived. The service was slow too, with our server disappearing for long periods of time. The food was ok, although the Chicken Parm was way overcooked. It was a disappointing meal all around.

Had food here twice now on work trips and was horrible both times. Honestly worst location for good that Ive been to. I religiously order in Saskatoon and they are premium in Saskatoon for good quality. I wish Regina would get their act together for same quality of food. Not even prepared the same as other locations. Very disappointed

We did take-out from this restaurant. When we picked it up, the employees who brought the order out were very friendly and professional, and the food was piping hot. They had every detail of the order correct, and servings were plentiful and delicious!

First time at an olive garden and it was delicious!

The overall place itself isn t horrible, as long as you have money to spend, however the service when scheduled an interview was horrendous; my interview was cancelled 3 hours before it s allotted time, was not given a reason as to why, and was not offered a rescheduled date.

The manager of this Olive Garden is amazing! Our original server was a 10/10 other than the fact we had a hand off to a new server without being told I would say this place would be 10/10 but because we had a server change and the new server didn t acknowledge this I was a bit disappointed.

So I was at Olive Garden and it took about 2 hours for my food to come out it was ridiculous some stupid employees actually sucked at there job as if Olive Garden isn t already easy enough but whatever, then they pulled out some dumb crap and said there cheese couldn t be melted and right then and there I was so upset but maintained my anger, anyways I didn t have a pleasant time but I will say the only reason I would ever come back would be for abbi I believe she was the only reason we didn t sleep there that night waiting for my food so thanks to her. But seriously do better Olive Garden

I have always wanted to try Olive garden and got my chance recently. It was an absolute feast. I would have preferred more options for the drinks but I guess what they offer is supposed to elevate your food. Great food - dont order too many entrees, you wont be able to enjoy your entree and dessert. Superb service from Daniel. Of all the different foods I tried, Tiramisu was the best.

Simar and other staffs are very friendly and accommodating, suggest the most complementing to the meal and drink we ordered. Accommodates also the request for additional sauce for the pasta. Wheelchair accessibility: They gave enough space for the next table who is in wheelchair.

I didn t like the assistant manager nicole. She was rude with me. But the food and atmosphere was good.

We visited as a group of ten. They accommodated us quickly and gave us two servers that evening, along with a large round table adjacent to the main dining room. The service was quick. We appreciated the wine tasting, and even bought a bottle! The food was tasty, which is why we keep coming back, even from Ontario! You had a gluten free selection, which allowed for everyone in our party to join in that night. Thanks for another great family evening, Olive Garden, see you soon!

I really enjoy every time I come to this restaurant. The service was a little slow today, and that s okay. My soup wasn t really hot either. Just an off day. We came fairly close to closing time so I m not surprised. I have been here multiple times and have always enjoyed each visit Food

We have eaten here every Sunday since opened and everything was good until last 2 visits my wife s food was extra salty , normally we would not say anything but this time we did , management check the food and it was fine so we don t know what we re talking about . We will not be returning and they will remember the reservation I make every Sunday will be no longer

They pride themselves on bread sticks and non stop soup or salad. Today the service was the worst ever. People seated after us got bread sticks and everything but No bread sticks and sat for 45 mins without anyone coming to our table to offer water. So disappointed looked to have a great meal with my son and it was terrible! First time in my life that I haven t tipped for my service and the bill was $91.31

Olive Garden brought lunch into our work, and everything was awesome. Food was hot and tasted just like being at the restaurant. Great job!

What s with throwing the plates on the table? Is it an Olive Garden thing? The last couple of times we ve gone there our servers tend to just toss the plates around the table .

Been here 3 times since it opened. First time was decent but the 2nd and 3rd were terrible. 2nd time the service was awful. It took a good 10 min before our table was waited on after being seated. No drink refills were offered, salad bowl didnt even have enough salad for 2 people to share, no check up from waitress to see if we needed anything, food was so so. 3rd time we waited 15 min at our table after being seated only for us to ask if there was a waiter for our table. 20 min later we finally had someone, the manager/supervisor did come apologize for a communication errorand comped us a free appetizer. The appetizer (spinach dip) was way overcooked as well as the pita chips that came with it. They did provide a good amount of salad, drink refils took a good 20 min to come, again the food was so so. I have been to many olive gardens and have had nothing but great experiences. Sadly the regina location is lacking in a lot of areas compared to others.

I wish they still had these in Ontario.

Our experience at the restaurant was good as usual. I had the tour of Italy and my partner had the Salmon and Alfredo pasta, which is very good the both of them and I had the soup and she had the salad as usual . We also had breadsticks which we were asked if we wanted dipping sauce for them, I said figuring it be a couple bucks when I got the bill. It was eight dollars for approximately quarter cup of meat sauce and then I found out when I read the menu here at home that it s never ending dipping sauce except when your server doesn t tell you this so it ended after the first bowl as they call it . I really like Olive Garden as a restaurant our experience has always been good. but eight dollars for a quarter cup of meat sauce sorry, but that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The food was amazing! I love olive garden dont get me wrong. The service kind of sucked. Only was 2 small tables going and the server hardly stopped to fill our salad and bread, i had to keep asking for service.

When we walked in the hosts were indifferent to us. The service was as chaotic and once they learned we weren t drinking the quality dropped. We had two servers assigned to our table and they one ask us the same question two minutes after the other. They were constantly trying to upsell us, wine, dips for the breadsticks and protein for our pasta. They tried to sell us wine three time, including offering a free wine sample three times to my obviously pregnant daughter-in-law. They completely forgot my son s lasagna we heard the two servers arguing over who missed it. The food was good once we got it but the frenetic energy of the servers spoiled the evening. My family and I have always loved Olive Garden but not this time. Not sure if I ll be back.

Had an excellent evening out. Coi was our server, very friendly and attentive. I questioned the oz in my beer, the duty manager Rajat? brought out the extra 4oz I thought was missing. I appreciate the service I received tonight. The extra chocolates were also amazing!

I got a Tour of Italy meal as a supper and unfortunately my food was very cold, and not tasty at all!

Food has always been good. The last visit we were there with a larger group (10 of us). Food didnt all come out at the same time. Was about a 15 min gap between plates coming out even though we all ordered at the same time. Refills were never asked if needed. Had to flag down our server every time. He never came to see if anyone needed anything else or checked in to see if we were okay with the food. They added an item to the end bill the was never ordered also never brought out an item that was ordered but it was on the bill. (Both items did get removed after some lengthy time telling the serve the items were never recived although he acted as if he didnt believe what anyone was saying)

We made a reservation ahead and we got just in time for our table. Very well organized.

Excellent service, appreciated the attention to detail and speed. Salad has a few bits that had froze, otherwise excellent. Kid-friendliness: Colouring page and menu with pictures available for kids. Quick service, and offered to bring kids meals ahead of adults and hold non- water beverages until after the meal.

We didnt go away hungry. The zuppa was delicious.

Olive Garden is not a great value by any means, nor were any of the dishes particularly noteworthy or memorable. Everyone has their favourites, though, that scratch the occasional Olive Garden itch. Its always a safe bet. Always uncomfortably full, usually followed by regret... The service was this last visits saving grace: very friendly staff. The fries and fried mozzarella were particularly disappointing. I will come back again without complaint, as I seem to do annually.

Awful service, staff is rude, we ordered some flowers to be delivered in time for our reservation but they refused to accept the flowers because they didnt have space . Apparently they don t accept flowers in the restaurant which makes absolutely no sense since I m spending my money to sit at the restaurant. Not only was the food repulsive but my flowers froze because I had to leave them in my car (in -30 weather)

The food was amazing! I haven t had Olive Garden is a very long time and once I got off a flight my friend and I went for supper. It was so good! Our waiter was very nice, the manager was also amazing and very funny! All around great experience

Ive been here a few times, five in total. The service has been great every time except for once. My last visit included a free wine sample, which was nice. I never had that before. The appetizers that came out tasted good and was a fair portion. The main dishes that came out were so, so. The salad to be completely honest, every time Ive been here is low, I mean extremely low on dressings. Olive Garden in Regina at least needs to assess their portion size for dressing. We asked for more on the second run of salad. However, it came back out with a regular amount and then half of the original amount. Furthermore, I had a dish with angel hair noodles and asked for a switch in noodles, too regular spaghetti. The dish portion size for myself was utterly awful! I should of taken a picture of this dish so you could all see. Not only a rookie move on my part but a rookie move on the chef and or cook who made the meal. They should of spent the extra 25 cents to fill the plate a bit more with noodles and / or at least brought the dish size down to appear that the bowl was full. Lets be real here though, if the entrée is 28 bucks, lets bring portion size up as youre likely making 18 dollars off the meal. Anyways I did count my total fork bites, for lack of better words and it equals 3, thats is correct, you read correctly 3 bites of me rolling Spaghetti on a fork and I was done my 28 dollar Main Course Meal. Thankfully, soup, salad, along with bread is endless. All in all, I said above with stars that service was great, which is true. The gentleman who served us did amazing. He also had a double sitting due to a customer not wanting a spot the hostess placed them in originally. They asked for a different table, so he had an unexpected sitting. Even though a bit slower on service, he did a phenomenal job. A newer fellow employee, (I could tell by his handling of the trays and such setting his drink tray down then serving out as he learns to balance). The new server double-checked on us, ensured we had more salad or soup, and water was full if we so needed. This is all while our set server was out dealing with the other customer who he got double seated on. Unfortunately, after being now my 5th time here, I likely am not to return. The front of house manager should walk around more and ensure things are taken care of and help if needed. This also takes place for the rear chef calling orders and ensuring plates going out are right size and / or portion is correctly done. Lets also take note that when I paid for our table of 3, it was a 25% tip as it was asked on a 125 some dollar meal. So dont think I didnt judge correctly. Warm regards, Nolan. Dietary restrictions: Wasnt asked, however, I am confident with any restaurant if you ask they will do as said. Parking: Parking is a bit rough here. It always has been due to area location and distance to walk if youre one of those I need closest to the doors, type of people. Kid-friendliness: Highly kid friendly, perfect after a terrible trip to Wally world. Wheelchair accessibility: Little rough on this as well. Its not really up close for Wheelchair parking. However, pavement and side walks, including door accessibility is in perfect condition.

Portion sizes seem to be half of what they were a couple months ago, but still the same price. I used to get enough pasta to take home for leftovers, this last time there wasnt much food on the plate and I was still hungry after (not a good sign if youre eating pasta) Our server was fantastic as always though.

Food pictures look good till you go there, it doesn t even taste Italian its 97% oil, and the utensils were dirty, never again will I come to this establishment

Went for a late lunch. Very nice atmosphere and Im a sucker for the music played. Any place that plays music by Frank Sinatra is five star atmosphere win haha But really the food is very good and is reasonably priced when you want to give yourself a carb coma. Their salad is exactly as I recall it from when I was a kid but I appreciate it more now. I took the simple route and just got fettuccine alfredo and it was perfect. I paired it with a peach Bellini and was set for my car coma.

Was so awesome seeing an Olive Garden in Canada! Currently traveling from Ontario to BC and found this gem in Regina! Such a lovely location, staff were so polite and food was scrumptious...exactly what we needed after a loooong drive.

Ive been trying to go here for years but finally I got the chance today (8/24/23) and it was okay. They could have delivered the food at the same time. But we werent that hungry....until the food showed up

May be a little pricy for weekend lunch menue however, they serve a huge amount of food. So come hungry! Parking: It might be challenging to find parking if youre coming in for dinner over the weekend.

Great service, we were seated quickly and our waitress (Hermione) was amazing! She made our experience wonderful. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarian meals! Chicken gnocchi soup is amazing, presentation of food served in our group, of 10, was great. Some dishes were difficult temperatures,some super hot and others just warm. Being served was a bit of a wait. Atmosphere is little toooo noisy for me. The tables with chairs are way too close together, feels crowded and it s difficult to maneuver a walker and/or the wheelchair. People greeting guests are very welcoming, loved the smiles and the customer service they provide! Great job greeters!!!! Wheelchair accessibility: It would have been better and more convenient to have abilities parking by the front doors and have a ramp wide enough that would be convenient for four vehicles. It s strange you have to drive around to another parking lot to park on the side where 4 abilities parking is available. Then you walk around to the front entrance. Not impressed.

You can never go wrong stopping by your local Olive Garden. Whether it s a stop at any Olive Garden should you be on vacation regardless where that may be the overall experience you can expect will be a good one. Upon reaching this destination expect unlimited salad, bread, soda etc. aThe food is all good; as a result I will just go with two all American dishes that are sure to satisfy your desire and palate- try the Cheeseburger, fries, onion rings etc. Don t leave without ordering their signature Sirloin steak with mashed potatoes, a salad and some asparagus or Brussel sprouts; Broccoli- you can never go wrong. Their seafood and everything else will suffice. Bring a bag and bring home the leftovers you won t be disappointed. As the fall is right around the corner, how about a pumpkin spice coffee and some ice cream? Writing this makes me happy and hungry, you may see me there tomorrow. Happy Eating Eaters

My first experience with my boyfriend was very good, very good service and food tasted pretty good. However, ever since we ate there, for the next couple days, both my boyfriend and I have been suffering from stomachache, diarrhea and nausea. And that was the last thing we both ate that was out of usual. Maybe something was wrong with shrimp or chicken in our food. The whole experience there at the time being was so great, but it s not a pleasant experience afterwards with what we have been dealing with. Probably not going back.

We always have a delightful family dining experience at the Olive Garden. From the temptation of unlimited freshly baked breadsticks to flawlessly crafted chicken gnocchi soup to their fresh pasta, and all you can eat pasta nights the menu caters to every appetite.

Went out for a meal with friends. The food was great, although as usual we filled up with the bread and dipping sauce cause its so good! Our server was great about all our requests for more bread and extra cheese, she treated us very well. It was a great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Olive Garden is very good. The cool thing is that you can have unlimited bread sticks and salad. The bread sticks are exceptionally good. The portions are very large, which means you can still have some the next day.

The only redeeming food here are the bread sticks. Pasta has little to no taste.

Called to book reservation for 20 people and someone said,, manager will call you back as soon as possible. However, never received a call for another 2 hours from anyone and resulting have to book somewhere else. It was a Christmas party. Just writing review so owner can throw some light on customer service and get more business. Its already a tough competition everywhere. Guys work on!!! Now you are calling 2-3 times but worthless now.

Went for lunch with my wife as we never get alone time on a weekday. We had to wait to be seated because they needed to clean tables yet a couple and a baby that arrived after us got a better seat and ended up being served much quicker and accurately by a different server. I ordered the endless soup, salad, breadsticks meal, and she had spaghetti(full size) First off, they brought her soup and my salad promptly; then her second soup and meal and never brough my soup out. Our waiter never came to ask how anything was or he may have realized this. By the time my soup came and my second bowl, we had been there over an hour. Ill add, the first one was lukewarm at best. They didnt refill our breadsticks, eventhough we both technically had endless. So: 4 small bowls of soup, a salad, a tea, an order of breadsticks and a meal size spaghetti and meat sauce took nearpy 1.5 hours of our day. No refill on wanter until I flagged somebody down, and she never got a tea refill either. (He asked and she said yes, the water never came) Will not be going back, and its a shame because in other cities the service is top notch. Front host/hostess station was staring and whispering into their mics as well and the manager was wearing an entire bottle of cologne. Our waiter creeped my wife out the way he started while talking to her as well. I hope corporate looks into this location.
