This is a hole in the wall type place in the best sense of the phrase. My wife and I went here for lunch and it was quick, tasted great, and was a great price for the quality of food. The service was extremely good. I am planning to go here for dinner in the near future after having such a great lunch experience.

What a hidden gem! We were very pleased to find Silvia s Cafe, very cute and intimate environment, small menu which means high quality food. My fiance and I ordered Charcuterie, spaghetti and meatballs (very moist!), cheesecake and tiramisu Don t skip on dessert! Silvia served us and she was very sweet and you could tell she took great pride in her restaurant.

Took my parents there for their 60th wedding anniversary. Great food and a great time was had by all.

We went for the good reviews but ultimately left disappointed. We felt very welcomed when we first came in to the restaurant. When our food came, we thought that the pasta sauce was great, however, the meat we had seemed overcooked and tough. We told the owner about our issue as we thought maybe something was wrong in the kitchen, only to be dismissed by the once warm and welcoming owner. Needless to say, it left us with a sour taste as she made us feel like it was somehow our fault that the food wasn t what we expected. As soon as we raised our concerns, she didn t come back to our table or offer any apologies for our bad experience. We weren t trying to be rude, just to be honest. We left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. We wouldn t even be leaving this review if the owner simply acknowledged our concerns and didn t make us feel bad for raising them.

What a gem! Silvias is easily Reginas best kept secret. The food was amazing and we were welcomed like family. So glad we found Silvias.

I dont understand how this restaurant has such an amazing rating. The owner was very kind as many have said but the food was extremely disappointing.

Quaint little place. The menu is small, but that makes selecting a dish a lot easier. The quality of the food was top notch, and the service was above and beyond. We fueled up here the night before QCM, and it did the trick as we had great sleeps and plenty of energy the next morning.

What a complete waste of space this place is. The use Instagram to post their menus, which wont even load when you click on them. Must be run by a complete goof if they cant even set up a basic website where they show their menu.

My mom and I went for dinner last night and it was absolutely amazing. The best bowl of pasta Ive probably ever had. Highly recommend the penne with braised beef. House wine was delicious and the tiramisu was fantastic as well. You need to eat here if youre in Regina, this place is truly a hidden gem.

Such a cute little place. Everything was delicious. We had the garlic shrimp and bruschetta appetizers. The shrimp were giant. So good. Everything came out super hot and fresh. Our entrees too. The service was outstanding. A hidden gem!!

Staying in Regina for work and this was highly rated for pasta. Ordered the Shrimp Olio. It was good but the portion size was very small. I could have ate another whole order easily. I also see from pictures it comes with bread and I did not get get that. For the price I was expecting to be full and definitely wasn t.

Great meatballs n pasta

Fantastic restaurant! Took a group of work colleagues out and was able to see some great pasta dishes. Their soup was amazing and meatballs are 10/10. We are told the soup was a family secret and I have to say, it s some of the best I ve ever had. The service is totally top notch as well, as the owners actually work in their own business and you can tell they totally care about quality in how the run the business and serve the food. This place is really a hidden gem. Also, their building is shared with another hall and does not look like a restaurant from the outside, you just walk down 1 set of stairs from the front door and then you will feel the Italy vibes and smells throughout! Simple and tasteful decor without trying to be pretentious. Give this place a try, it really was amazing!

Sylvias is a hidden gem in the city. The small restaurant located beneath the Legion is the perfect place for a date, to bring family or friends or just have some great Italian food. Sylvia herself is there helping serve food and checking on service. This is a great local restaurant that I would highly recommend!

What a gem!!!! If you like good service, intimate settings and tasty Italian food, this is a must try place. The menu is small but packed with lots of options. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and braised beef on pasta with tomato sauce. The meatballs were the highlight for me. It was so juicy and flavourful. The price is affordable and portion size is generous. Silvia was friendly and introduced herself to us and made us very comfortable. Definitely will be coming back to work our way through the menu.

The food was excellent, best Italian I ve had. Service was fast and the overall experience is one I think everyone one that lives in Regina and even slightly enjoys Italian food must try. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, the 3 cheese ravioli as well as a piece of tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Will be returning 100%.

Silva is awesome, she makes you feel at home, chatty, friendly, funny, and a shout out to the chefs behind the scenes! We had dinner on Saturday night. I had lasagne and partner had a shrimp pasta dish. Both were excellent. Silvia was our server - shes very engaging and pleasant. Well definitely return for another meal, maybe for lunch!

It is small but wonderful place to experience good Italian food. Nothing spicy or over powering. Service is good and quick. It was my first time being here and I knew that I did not want to over eat to ensure I was still awake for the afternoon at work. It was a good thing. There was enough for me to take a small package of the spaghetti and meatballs to my husband to enjoy as well. He says it was good as well and wishes he was with me for lunch to have a plate for himself.

Very quaint restaurant. Locally owned, and the owner, Silvia, uses her mothers Italian recipes. Its all homemade and absolutely delicious. I had spaghetti and meatballs, and my friend had the ravioli. It was divine. This gem of a place is well worth a trip.

This was our first time eating here. They have been operating for 3 years but i didnt know they existed until recently. It is located in the basement of the Legion Building on Cornwall St. The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. This certainly will not be the last time we eat at Silvias. The menu is small but everything we ordered was amazing, like a home cooked meal from timeless generational recipes. The service was top notch and food portions and prices were awesome. Our group ordered the garlic shrimp, baguette with oil and vinegar for appetizers, followed by the pastasciutta and shrimp aglio e olio and the brownie with ice cream and tiramisu for dessert. One of the best meals I have ever had. You could tell the food was made with love and this family really cares about you and your experience. It s amazing to see this place being run by only 3 people. They must work so hard and they should be beyond proud of what they do. When it was time to go, Sylvia even included extra noodles so my leftover sauce didn t go to waste so I could take it home. Such a kind, and caring woman. Made my year, highly recommend.

I ve been travelling all over the place for a week, and the food I have been eating pales in comparison to Silvia s because they all lacked soul. Silvia has the Midas touch to turn seemingly simple and familiar recipes into a memorable meal.

The taste was good but its a little pricey, paid $15.50 tax in for a little 6 meatball sub with no sides. If they dropped the price $3-4 or included a side it would be 5 stars.

My Husband surprised my daughter and I with supper plans, had made reservations at Silvia s Italian Café and it was absolutely delicious!!! He had the ravioli, my daughter had Spaghetti and meatballs and I opted for the lasagna, each of our meals was perfect portion and you could tell they were homemade. Charming ownership, creative and cute use of a challenging space. Perfect Old Fashioned cocktail and food well-presented, made with quality ingredients. Im afraid placing Breton crackers on a charcuterie board is a hard fail for me, but the other elements of the antipasta were wonderful; converted one at the table to olives, he insisted hes always hated them. Turns out theyre his new favorite thing.

I have been wanting to try out Silvia s Italian Café for a while now. Located on Cornwall Street in Regina (downtown close to the Cornwall Centre), and it did not disappoint. We were greeted warmly by Silvia herself. Our group of three started with some red wine for the ladies and a Peroni for myself. Grant was our server, and the service was impeccable. The menu is not large, but it brought back memories of our holiday in Italy. Fresh, home cooked dishes and smelled and tasted out of this world. My wife had the Lasagna, sister-in-law had the Four Cheese Ravioli with an added meatball, and I went with the Spagetti and Meatballs. Each dish accompanied with some garlic toast. All meals were fantastic. We finished with a cappuccino and shared the Brownie with Pistachio ice cream. The entire experience was amazing, we will be returning sooner than later.

This place is amazing. Food quality is outstanding with freshly made pasta and the service was refreshingly caring. Let s make this place famous.

My wife and I went for supper at Sylvias to celebrate my birthday and it was the best Italian food weve had since visiting Italy! Easily my favourite restaurant in Regina and will be going back to try everything. 10/10 Incredible service, food and atmosphere!

Eat here. It is so fantastic- best bruschetta + lasagne I have ever had. House red is a perfect pairing! And Sylvia is a joy!

We did a pick-up order but the place looks great if you were eating in. Food was well priced. Unfortunately all three of us felt the spaghetti was pretty underwhelming.

I had a supplier sales Rep in from Calgary. We went for lunch and it was excellent. I found out he lived for a while in Italy and he was so impressed he thanked me for finding this place.

I went to Sylvia s for lunch and had the pastascuitta. It was exceptional! I can t wait to try other items on the menu although it will be hard not to order that again. Ha ha. Highly recommend Sylvia s. Service was top notch as well.

Only in town for one night, travelling through. I am SO glad I chose this restaurant. The food is exquisite, the people are incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. If you want genuine homemade Italian cuisine, this is the place to be!!! Very safe for those with allergies, they took excellent care and consideration for my needs.

We came here because of good reviews and Silvia s definitely did not disappoint! The bruschetta and shrimp aioli was phenomenal and the service really made the cafe feel homey ! Would definitely recommend and will for sure return for more!

The food here is incredible! I had no idea that this restaurant existed until a coworker raved about their food a few days ago. I will definitely be returning to work my way through the menu! Incredibly tasty food. Small menu and with all of our dishes the pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was fresh and finished with a nice cheesecake and tiramisu gelato. Bruschetta was delicious as well, crunchy and fresh tomatoes. Next time will stop by for a sandwich at lunch time.

We had dinner at Sylvias last night and what a fabulous experience. She was so welcoming and the food was clearly homemade. We felt like we were having dinner in her home. Bruschetta was so good and fresh...the Shrimp pasta was also so fresh!!! Cant wait to go back.

The spaghetti and meatballs was so delicious. Dean Martin was playing when I picked up the food - just glorious! Thanks Silvia and Grant.

The food at Silvias is incredible. Would highly recommend their pastacciuta, although our party tried most of their offerings and everything was top notch. Service was fast, the food was hot, and Silvia is so friendly. Definitely a good choice of restaurant!

Silvia and her husband have created the most precious environment. Not only is the food done to perfection (we had the white wine, caprese salad, spaghetti and meatballs, pastaschiutta, and cheesecake), their service is just amongst the best Ive seen. We stopped by while driving through saskatchewan on our cross country drive, and could not be happier with our pick. They were absolutely lovely and sent us off with so much care. The food has got a homemade feel to it and you just know how much love they put into it. This restaurant has only been around for a year, but theyve already got everything down pat. I will definitely be stopping here every single time I pass by regina. If you only have one meal in this province, let it be Silvias. Their attention to detail and care for their customers will ensure that you have a memorable experience and a fantastic night no matter the kind of day youve had

I began being sent to work in regina and discovered this place. It has become a regular dinner place for me. The food is delicious in its simplicity. The restaurant has a very italian cozy atmosphere and the service is top notch. I highly recommend. It would be a great date night restaurant.
