I was in a business trip to regina , and try this ramen place , and they charge me 3 pieces small chinken for 6.5 dollar and a noodle soup only half full with a normal price , really don’t recommend that why when Iam travelling I alway eat timi or mc
This is the best ramen I ever had in Regina! Black garlic soup ramen is delicious! Recommend!
This review is from March 2023: @wannregina never fails to leave us satisfied and content. We had a large group of 10 and ordered a lot of food. Best ramen in Regina hands down. If I could critique, I wanted there to be a bit more meat and at least a full egg instead of half. Still, flavours were delicious and prices are fair. Fresh ramen and fresh sushi never fails. I tried takoyaki for the first time and I’m sad to say, I burnt my mouth first bite so I never got a proper opinion on it. I will need to order them again as I heard they were flavourful. Also big Thank-you to the kitchen for making another sushi roll for my friend even though you were technically closed. Your hospitality is appreciated. And sushi was delicious.
Nice and clean place. Ramen broth was really flavourful, highly recommend it. However, I would avoid their basic rolls, they were not the best in town and didn’t look very appetizing.
Such a cozy spot for a business lunch! The Japan-style noodles and soup, with meat and garlic, made it truly special. I loved spending time there and would definitely go back.
I order the 1/4 spicy tonkotsu ramen. it's really perfect spicy to me! I also add the extra topping. I love their mushrooms. noodles are not soft and the broth it delectable. Tebasaki; I like the sauce they coat the chicken wings with. it's sweet and spicy The waiters are very friendly with great service : )
I've walked by this place many times and finally popped in with my gal. From the front it's not eye catching, but it has a very open and cozy interior. We were greeted and sat quickly and our order was taken right away. Very nice and helpful staff. The menu is small, appealing and easy to manage. The food looked and smelled so good when it arrived, I didnt think to take pictures until our bowls were empty! A few starters and tapas items that looked good but we were there for the ramen, which did not disappoint! I had the spicy tonkotsu. The broth was very flavourful, the pork chashu was fall apart tender and so tasty, the bamboo shoots were marinated and packed a punch. And the broth! I ate my noodles fast so I could sip the broth right from the bowl! I'm a heat freak, so I added the hot oil. it was sweet garlic, umami kick in the face with a growing heat that lingered in your mouth. I know people don't like heat because when you over do it, you lose flavor.. not here! My gal got the black garlic which was much more mild but no less complex. Interesting and simple desserts like green tea ice cream and black sesame cheese cake and decently priced beer! Maybe my new fav ramen place in regina. 100% recomend, hopefully see you there!
Food was very good but it’s definitely on the more pricey side so if you’re going out to celebrate definitely come here. I found the portion for the ramen to be quite big, however the sushi and appetizers were not that much in quantity in relation to what you pay for. Highly recommend coming for the ramen!
Ive been here twice with my family, visited the 2nd time to give it a saving grace. Its not a horrible place, but it could be better. Definitely do not order the basic salmon rolls. You will be disappointed. I wish I took a picture of what was served to us, but frankly we were too hungry to care at the time lol, the fish portion was very skimpy, literally had no fish in some rolls. Ramen was delicious. Food is decent at best. The sushi is what really disappointed me. Also, the service was mid both times, with the same server. Dont wanna comment any further on that because idk whats going on in their personal life, I get it. The atmosphere is really nice, tho, pretty place. Would rate a 5/10
a friend and I came here a couple of months ago to have some sushi. the sushi was extremely dry and didnt taste right. my friend and I both felt after. the worst sushi Ive literally ever had. the first and last time I will ever be coming here.
Recently moved to Regina and was hoping to find a decent Ramen place. Maybe I shouldve lowered my standard but this gonna be the worst Ramen Ive had. The pork and noddle were fine, but the broth tasted very odd. Almost tasted like beer. Pretty sure it shouldnt be the norm as Ive been to plenty ramen places in China and US and none tasted like this. Do not recommend.
The actual size of the sushi was very small, but yet the price was very big. Did not enjoy the whole experience due to the pricing.
Absolutely wonderful all around.
The food was so yummy and they are all nice
Very good Sushi!
Great food and attentive staff
The staff is so friendly Vegetarian options: Full veg options Dietary restrictions: As long as you use simple English to describe your restrictions-- they will accommodate you.
Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. We tried to order lunch bentos with chicken karaage, but ended up with karaage rice bowls instead. The server seemed very confused about what we wanted the whole time. She brought more tea after we said no thank you to more tea, etc. But she was very nice, and the food was very good, even if it wasnt what we asked for.
I tried the spicy tuna rolls but they were quite avg, may be they are good in other food.
Food is great, service is good. Will definitely come back.
Great service and great food. Comfort food.
Traditional and Authentic flavours. Super fast service. The black garlic miso ramen was really good and the sushi was fresh and clean. Only here for the night otherwise id be back asap! Definitely recommend
I ordered the karaage bowl. It was dry and smelled like the oil used to cook it had been used for quite a bit.
In from out of town, stayed across the street from our hotel. The food and service were awesome. We had miso soup and two sushi rolls and a fried banana with ice cream for dessert.
Good atmosphere. Not so good food. And one of the worse service.
I never give negative reviews but this was the worst sushi actually meal I ve ever had in Regina. 0 flavour we all felt ripped off I could have boiled plain rice and stuck a small piece of avocado in it at least it would have been fresh too
Ah! This place used to be very good. Avoid their ramen: cold and over fatty chashu, uncooked corn, cold soup!
It was great.
The Ramen is AMAZING.
Second time ordering from here through Uber Eats. The first time my order was missing items and didn t have much flavour, however my friend said theirs wasn t bad, so I gave it another go tonight. Ordered the Miso Ramen. Which is supposed to come with buttered corn, seaweed, pork, green onions, bean sprouts and an egg. It was missing half of these ingredients (corn, seaweed and green onion). My partner ordered the spicy ramen (add corn $2.00 and noodles 6.00 as the description states it doesn t have corn), both the paid for items came however it was missing green onion and seaweed. We also added on the wings which were very good, but the order on Uber eats came to $65.00 before tip or fees. That s a lot to pay for a bowl of noodles that are missing half the ingredients. I won t be ordering from here again unfortunately.
Phenomenal sushi, Raman and battered mushrooms. Absolutely delicious food. I love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly.
Food is OK. Really good service good environment to spend time with friends. Food
This place.. my goodness.. Their ramen soups and tapas dishes are all just so tasty. I was there once with someone who ordered the yakisoba and it looked fantastic. Their service has always been great in my experience but I just went in for lunch on Christmas eve and there was only one guy working, covering front of house and kitchen and he knocked it out of the park all on his own.
Updated from 2 year old review. (Downgraded from 5 to 2 star) . Sushi is tiny and over priced for what you get. Quality of sushi is fine but if you are looking strictly for sushi, this would not be my first choice. More importantly, if you order after the supper rush, expect disappointment. The last handful of orders Ive gotten the bottom of the barrel for ingredients. Broth is never good, no black garlic flavour or even the black specs, the eggs (which I always order extra) are essentially just soft boiled eggs (when normally they are soaked I assume overnight or something to give them the intense flavour they normally have). If you get there for peak time, its fine but if you are expecting the same quality after that, you will be disappointed.
I went there for lunch with my friend. It s my first time in here, it is supper nice place in regina, food is exellent and serves are wonderfull. I will be back my friend.
Food is tasty and reasonable. Service is excellent. Music can be a bit loud, but thats a personal preference of mine. One of my favorite places to eat in the city. Wann is our go to option as a group too.
No long review from me. Just facts Sushi quality is good Rice is above high end sushi places if not same quality in the nigiri Owner is young and hungry to bring the best experience to you. He s spending his younger years to bring you his creativity so in my books that s worth telling everyone Chicken wings is the perfect pairing to a beer and a snack. Overall Try this place!
Food was great, I was surprised how good it was. Service was good too but nobody was focused on us so a couple errors were made. Octopus balls were really good too.
Waan is always amazing. One of our favourite places in Regina. The service is always great. It s super quick but fresh! Tastes amazing. If you like ramen, definitely come check it out!
Amazing!!
Ramen tastes average
I love this place went roughly 6 times never failed to make an order right. Staff are friendly, I never felt rushed and the food is amazing. I definitely recommend this place
Everything is ok. But the couch is ripped and the bowl is so dirty. And the ramen is so small.
Overall very good taste with fast service. Ramen tastes good. Wonder if they have dessert menu
Nice restaurant, sushi wasnt bad, customer service wasnt the best but it wasnt bad.
Loved the experience. Food and staff were awesome.
Absolutely tasteless Facility is extremely outdated and required maintenance asap Came for reviews and shocked Food : 1/5
they change their serving into smaller amount that dont even fit one person on one order it used to be an appropriate amount of serving.. Parking: we went on a long weekend..ample spaces for parking
Great place for ramen or casual sushi.
Way to expensive for the portions sizes. Cheap out on thier food, so they can afford the fancy esthetics. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. 75$ for two rolls and a bowl of noodles, which was pictured with veggies and meat piled atop, but all of 5 tiny (and i mean TINY) florets of broccoli and even less meat watched three other couples leave while standing and waiting to be acknowledged to sit.
Ordered from Uber Eats. Ordered Salmon Sashimi and it tasted like metal. The spicy tuna rolls were so tiny and had a teeny piece of tuna in them. Would not recommend and will not be ordering from here again.
Food was great . Service was wonderful
Great sashimi and awesome service!
I hurt my finger the other day. It is still bothering me a little. This place is Ok.
So far, the best Regina has to offer.
Terrible food and service. Stay home and enjoy MR. NOODLE. What a disaster. Regina lacks quality food.
Good food and good prices.
Spacious restaurant, good food. Fast service. The only downside is paid parking at the back, but I don t mind because the food is worth it.
Food is bad and outrageously priced. Shrimp that were served were approaching spoiling. Evident freezer burn on other items. Everything overwhelmingly oily. Nothing fresh. You can get better fried food at an Applebees. Glad I didnt try any raw seafood here.
Black garlic ramen is second to none!
Great food. Great service. Vegan ramen particularly impressive
Best Japanese food in town with nice and cozy atmosphere, the dish that particularly stood out to me was the sushi. The rice was perfectly seasoned, and the topping like fish or their fruity craft was incredibly fresh its just melt-in-your-mouth tender. Highly recommend this Japanese restaurant to anyone who appreciates exceptional food and a memorable dining experience.
You want fresh in Sk this is it.
Paid $20 for a ramen made from Mr. Noodles Terrible!
It tastes amazing! I got the spicy tenkatsu and it was just the right amount of spice to flavor. Only issue is cost wise, the food is a little small and the addons are way to much. Beer is priced good. Thanks for the meal.
WARNING DO NOT COME HERE If you want actually good sushi go to Wasabi this is overpriced and cheap made sushi this is an absolute ripoff and am definitely not coming back it took 35 mins to make 4 rolls and the rolls were made with the least effort I have ever seen the crab in the California roll was not even chopped up fine and mixed with mayo no effort put in the sushi for the price it is if you want good sushi this is not it.
Our waiter was very charismatic and the food was great. Exactly what I expected for the ramen that was ordered.
Went during lunch hour in the week and the restaurant was pretty busy. Parking is very difficult. There is a large empty paid ImPark lot right beside the restaurant but apparently ImPark wont allow anyone to park there no matter how much they pay. Nevertheless this has very little to with the restaurant. There are quite a few metered street spots 1 block west. It was clear almost all customers walked there from their workplaces downtown. I went with a bento box and I felt that was a pretty well rounded lunch. Only thing I can say is if you are like me and dont know your Japanese dishes off the top of your head you might struggle with what to order. The menu has a fair number of options but I struggled to visualize the dishes and choose what I wanted after reading the menu. Luckily my friend had eaten there before and gave me a recommendation. I feel that the problem I had could be solved one of 3 ways: - slightly more detailed descriptions of what the Japanese dishes are. - a few pictures of dishes either on the menu or on a table card - a daily special introduced by the server (doesnt need to be less $) In my opinion any of those things would have pushed me towards making my mind up on what to order much easier / more comfortably. Parking: Metered street spots 1 block west.
Fantastic food, the best ramen.
Simple place very friendly staff. Food was good.
Have been here a handful of times over the years and each time it is about the same. The food is good but nothing wow-ing me wanting to come here for ramen noodles. The atmosphere is open and could get loud when there are more people in the restaurant. The service was as quick as it could be being that there was only the one working the last time I visited and she was hopping around for sure. The food was served warm to hot. For some they are ok with it others not so much.
Good soup
Ramen broth was very bland and no richness. Ordered spicy tonkatsu ramen but couldn t taste the spice at all. Wouldn t go back for ramen.
First customer during lunch break. The service was awesome as I got to chat with the Japanese owner. Friendly and the food was good. The place is very clean and soup they served was tasty.
Had the spicy miso ramen. $18 and it came out with only a single small sad slice of pork. Utterly disappointing, and the soup did nothing to save the dish.
It might be limited by the supply in a inner land area, the chef should be done better and the restaurant can serve more food for each meal. If I have chance to visit Regina, I would go to a restaurant serve food from local farm . Food
Food is ok not too fancy but was good to the palate. Not as impressive as I d hope it would. Thus the stars service was good, atmosphere was downer during odd time I guess maybe if there s a lot of traffic, then it would be great. Don t get the spicy Ramen or any ramen. Lol that s what made their score low.
Calling this place a Gastro pub is misleading. The food was good, but the service and experience paled in comparison. I had initially ordered a craft beer, and was told the keg was warm, so I got a Sapporo instead. I ordered a second Sapporo, and was instead given a warm pint of the craft beer. On our way out, we were stopped and told by our server that she forgot charge me for the second beer, and she proceeded to charge me for a single beer at the door. I found this soured the mood further.
Great food and service. Loved the gyoza and the ramen
Terrible Safeway is better
Obsessed with the entire vibe, service, and food at Wann. Their indoor signage is cool, the food is great, and the service is impeccable. If you want Raman, this is one of your go-tos in Regina. Parking sucks, but that doesnt stop it from being a hip & delicious little spot.
Disappointing food. Cooks should be embarrassed. Who in their right mind puts raw mushrooms in batter and fries it? What you get is watery mess. Cooks, dont you know that mushrooms contain water? Sushi rolls are very small, like peanuts. I measured the rolls, it was half an inch. Its a joke.
Great little spot for Ramen and sushi!
If you are an Asian person have experience eating actual good (or even average) sushi and ramen, AVOID AT ALL COST. The photos speak for itself. As for the ramen, it was very bland with no real flavour (we ordered spicy miso)
Please do not waste your money here. Food was trash. It should be a crime to charge money for this kind of food. I know its Regina, but you cant sell this as sushi. Restaurant was not even apologetic. They were just this is how it is. Just eat it. Food : 1/5
I took my family here for lunch. If you have taste buds, I would stay away from here. Cant say much about their dinner menu, but lunch was horrendous. When we asked the restaurant, they just said, that s just how it is. So just eat it.
Excellent service, the lady who attended to us was very friendly. He recommended a dish to me and it was delicious. Very good experience. Parking: The parking lot is a little small for the place and the parking floor is uneven.
I love this place so much! Every time I am here the food is so fresh and fast and seriously delicious!!! The service is so friendly and I love the mismatched plate ware! Music is also great and the entire place is very clean! Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs
Food was good but that was overshadowed by the terrible service. Server brought our food and never came back again. We wanted to order more but we were not asked. We paid our bill and left.
Avoid! Like, what the hell?! Just look at the photo. How do you call this sushi? This is a complete insult to non-Asian people who don t have much experience with good Asian food. How are they trying to charge money for this by calling it sushi?!
If youre in Regina and like Japanese cuisine, then this wonderful little spot is a must try.
Was in Regina for work and thought I d try this place out since it s close to my hotel and got good reviews. Food was mediocre. I wouldn t classify this as authentic Japanese food. Japanese fusion at best. There were bean sprouts in the ramen???? Broth was good though. Noodles were a very soft texture that I m not a big fan of. Service was okay. No table checks once the food is dropped off. Some of the reviews mentioned this is the best Japanese food in Regina, I ve never tried other Japanese place here so I guess it might just be it.
When at Wann, you ramen. The ramen here is absolutely delish, with such a hearty and flavourful broth, youll almost forget about the incredibly fresh ingredients used. Highly recommended to those who are trying ramen for their first time, you will not regret it! The spicy tonkotsu is what I go for when I am there, but I have also enjoyed the regular version just as much.
I order the noodle soup is Too salty .
Had a quick stop in supper with 10 people and they accomodated super well. It was a bday and they gave free ice cream. Maybe the best raman Ive had in Regina in a while.
I have eaten here many times but yesterday we had our holiday party at work and we chose to have them cater our party. Everything was wonderful! They showed up right on time, all meals were accounted for, everything was warm and ready to go. They know how to organize everything perfectly. Thank you so much!
The sushi was really good and the ramen bowls have the best broth. Very clean and not too expensive.
I love Raman and this place is the best Raman in Regina!
Friendly staff and the food is great.
Ramen broth was salty for my taste, but the noodles were quite good. Shrimp tempura was small and just ok tasting (as per teen kid 2). Server was kind, and atmosphere was nice. Their green tea was one of the best Ive had in Canada. Asian spice fries were great, but salty too!
Awesome raman and sushi
Pork Yakisoba is my favorite dish, black garlic ramen was quite good as well
Love the ramen! Will definitely keep coming back here. Highly recommended!
Best ramen in town
The spicy miso ramen with extra noodles was a delicious delight that both filled me up and emptied my sinuses with he power of a thousand men. Would go again 69/69
Very good sushi and noodle bowl
Excellent food, one of the best Ramen places in regina!
Stopped here for some ramen the other night. The food was great and service was spot on.
Food was good.
The Ramen broth was good. The pork/meat portion was lacking a lot. They were as thin as cold cold cuts. I was disappointed. I had a chicken side dish added to it.
Service was a bit slow at the beginning, food was very good overall. Potato dish and chicken dish were sold out.. had the French fries and they were just frozen McCain Crinkle cut fries with seasoning. They shrimp tempura was very good, spicy ramen was good and so was the yakisoba. Don t get the fries just spend $2 more and get the shrimp.
Some of the best Ramen in the city.
An interesting (good) experience. First time here. It was not far from my hotel (Delta). Had a spicy tonkasu Ramen bowl, some tagarashi fries and some warm sake. The food was excellent. Tasty balanced fries. Nice half spice tonka. The sake was more dramatic... They were out of the warm sake, but had the cold one of the same brand... so I asked them to warm it up... they dont know the proper technique to warm up sake (its similar to a Bain marie). So they ended up microwaving it. I had a lukewarm / slightly cold sake. I drank it and asked for a second one, and to be warm up twice the first time they did. The second one was proper even if microwaved. The waitress was nice and nevertheless helpful. The place had a nice atmosphere. I would go again.
Amazing food. If you enjoy Japanese, youll enjoy this. Yakisoba and Tonkatsu were amazing and the sashimi makes you wish there was even more on your plate. Will be returning.
Everytime i visit it is always spectacular! Food is great, good vibe and perfect date night location. It always fixes my craving of ramen and sushi!
Very good ramen, had the half spicy and it was perfect. Excellent service!
Great ramen. Had the miso broth with noodles, pork, corn, green onions and bean sprouts. Fresh and reasonably fast for how busy it was.
The ramen bowls are great!
Hard to beat it
Food took a really long time, the waitress kept forgetting who we were, food was sub par, the bathroom reeked like sewer, and the spicy salmon rolls were literally the size of the tip of my thumb. 2 stars only because I liked the design of the interior
Unfortunately my review has to change. Today. Theres new staff not one person came to ask me how my food was or if I needed anything else. Little disappointing.
Excellent food, reasonable prices, and prompt service. My favourite Japanese restaurant in Regina.
Good food selection but bad service.
Great place for Regina, pretty average if compared to the coast. Id stop by again for sure next time Im here. Service is great but menu is pretty limited. What Ive ordered was tasty. Location I decent. Music way too loud.
Delish veggie bento box and great service
Ramen was salty, sushi not fresh. Cant understand the raving reviews...
It was very good - staff was friendly, service was quick and the food was great. We got Yakisoba noodles, ramen and sake. Same was amazing. They have decent vegan options too.
Decent food and atmosphere . Reasonable prices.
Sushi was ok! I got the tuna maki rolls. But the pork ramen broth tasted watered down and the slices of meat were so thin, it was barely anything.
Placed online through touch bistro ordered at 3pm waited 30min in parking lot for pick up and when I went in the staff had not even processed the order. Not one customer inside, big miss & waste of my time.
Waited for 40 minutes for food that was never prepared. Very disappointed.
Service was friendly - sushi was good, but not great. Its basically just rice. Almost as if they forgot to add the salmon to our salmon roll.
Excellent food, great service and the only complaint I have, is that they were out of Sapporo one day ;))))
Great service good food. Very busy
Had a lunch there and was very glad they have vegan/vegetarian option for those who cant consume pork. Ramen was delicious.
The food was fantastic, and I enjoyed my meal a lot. Their choice of serving dishes offers a very different experience from most restaurants or bars, one that I appreciated. The service was also amazing -- highly recommended.
Used to be very good. Broth not as rich and creamy as before, also less toppings. Sushi rice was warm. When discussed with chef, was told that rice is always warm because they make it fresh, what a joke. How do you cook in a Japanese restaurant and not know sushi rice should be fanned while seasoning it.
Really polite service and excellent food!! Spicy tonkostu was great and I recommend trying the takoyaki
They changed their cook so the food is not good like before anymore, although service is the only thing that saves this place.
Awesome food and great service
I can never take pictures of my food because its so darn delicious I eat it before I think about bringing my phone out. We came in. It was quiet and staff were friendly. I ordered a Dynamite Bento Box. Miso soup was to die for salad was fresh and yummy. The sushi amazing! Im not a fan of edamame so husband ate most of that. And all for a decent prices lunch and I didnt feel shame after eating like eating fast food! Will come back for more!
Ramen is decent quality but the pork belly meat was the thinnest I ve ever had out of the 20+ ramen places I ve visited. Prices are higher than average too so you wouldn t expect them to be so cheap on meat portions.
Absolutely amazing customer service and for sure the best Ramen around
Best ramen in the city !
It was my second visit today. I was very satisfied with my first visit, so I visited again with my wife this time, but I was very disappointed today. The noodles are not fully cooked and the soup is very salty. The meat was cold.
Neat lil place with darn good food.
VERY GOOD. I like spicy food and they accomplished that. Waitress was very bubbly and happy, in a good mood. Definitely going back.
Really good ramen, sushi and yakitori. Very flavourful, excellent service.
Noodle is not fully cooked and soup is very salty and meat was cold. How can it get high score
Ramen really good as were the wings. Only had one option for beer however it was cold and the prive was right.
Stingy on the meats (soooo thin) and for 16 bucks spent, only half the boiled egg? Hmmm Flavor and noodles are good though
Amazing food. Very flavorful and just an all around good experience. If your looking for one of those hidden gems in Regina, this is the place!
A great place to get ramen! Service and food come quick if you are in for lunch and it is always fresh tasting. Great flavors and great presentation in the bowl! Keep up the great work!
Great seafood and service.
Staff was friendly and recommended good option. the place was clean, food was really good
It was goooood
Consistently delicious food. Vegan and gluten-free options are available, as well as gluten-free soy sauce. Excellent customer service and our waitress was very attentive.
Vegan ramen could use improvemwnt. It was a disappointment for the price. We would have liked to see more vegetables in it, it was mostly noodles. I will not be returning for this reason.
Not bad Ramen. It kind of smelled like sewage though.
taste food. Good selection . Reasonably priced.
We were greeted and seated right away, answered any questions we had, tried the spicy tonkotsu, was a good ramen bowl, needed just abit more flavor, the atmosphere was nice and the servers were great Will visit again
Nice atmosphere, good atheistic, and really good food and decently priced as well.
Wanted to have some Asian flair while I was in town. This place filled that. Had a really interesting menu item called roulette. They give you five pieces and one is super spicy. Nice game to play with friends and it is super spicy. Food was great. Tables are a little tight and the decor is nice. Overall would return.
Fantastic
I rated my experience today September 01, 2021 as a three star. Three of us came during lunch rush around 12:15pm. There were a few tables maybe 6-8 at the time. There was only one lady working at the front. She was struggling to multi-task, which is reasonable due to the the volume. My only complain was that she wasn t very interactive and didn t really talk to us the whole time other than when she needed to like asking our order or refilling our water. Food came fairly quick for a busy lunch. I had the black garlic ramen and we also had some California sushi and shrimp tempura which are really good. Ramen was fair, unexpectedly bland because it looked amazing. Needed more body on the broth, more flavour and some more seasoning. Would I comeback? Maybe, depending on the mood even though I would eat ramen anytime of the day and the week. Maybe I had set the bar too high because I ve had amazing ramen somewhere else before and sifting through the photos, they looked amazing. What would I recommend to improve the experience? We need more interaction with our server. Maybe put more than one front of house during lunch rush. Test their products more frequently, maybe a bowl everyday before service to check seasoning and quality. What were the positives? Place look very authentic and immersive. From the cement/stone tables, to the very heavy and beautiful sushi plate, actual ramen bowl and great location being downtown and close to a parkade. Overall good experience just a little underwhelmed by the food and service. Goodluck and hopefully I ll see guys again.
Best sushi in the city
Always wanted to try authentic ramen. Their black garlic ramen is so good! We enjoyed their sushi too. Great environment and food! If you like hot foods youll love their spicy miso ramen. Its flavorful without being just tongue burning spice.
Im giving a 5/5 review cause the food is really good. However it is the second time in the last 2 weeks that we visit Wann. And both times several items were unavailable and we were told it is because they share such items with tipsy samurai which is also owned and operated by the same owner. It feels as tough Wann is being neglected in favor of Tipsy.
Always receive consistently great food. My son LOVES their ramen. The spicy tuna poke bowl is unreal. This is the go to ramen place in Regina, hands down.
Delicious food, friendly service
Amazing food and amazing people! You have to eat here!
Hello available to dine-in tmr???
The service we had was great! There was only one waitress and it ended up getting pretty busy but she stayed calm, composed and was super efficient. The food came quickly and was pretty tasty.
Very average. Pricey for mediocre quality food. Service was the only bright spot.
Always amazing food, comes out fast and the staff are always super friendly! Price is very fair also!!
Had the tonkotsu ramen. Chashu was salted too heavily and too mushy. Added extra slices of chashu but meal wasnt filling enough to be worth it. Service was decent but parking is a hassle with only paid at the back.
Were from Toronto and have experienced creamier, richer broth. Roulette takoyaki balls were fun. Dynamite roll would not pay for $10 and calamari was a little more burnt than expected. Great customer service though and a nice vibe. Parking in the back is free after 4pm (but we had to ask).
My opinion is 3 star taste.
Wann has some pretty good Ramen. At a $2 less than Dojo Ramen, it s still a bit pricey but it s a good bowl. Sometimes a bit greasy. A great place to eat at.
Now theres a fine restaurant that has friendly service and prompt too. The environment is very neat and the food is scrumptious.
Awesome food, fantastic service.
Food was below average except for sashimi which was fresh. In each order, some tempura items were fresh and hot while others were cold and stale. Miso soup was cold. The wait staff were friendly but didnt seem experienced. They forgot to bring us water and drinks and some food items. Maybe understaffed. But will not go back as food was underwheming.
My favourite ramen and sushi place in Regina. The ramen broth is amazing. Weve been going for years and consistently receive amazing food with great service.
