Mediterranean dining with a modern twist. Locally sourced ingredients, tasty food made from scratch. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Sister restaurant to Breakfast Bistro.
This establishment is known as Breakfast Bistro by day and Luna’s Kitchen by night. After being heavily suggested, I finally got to try both. However, this post will focus on Luna’s Kitchen. I ordered the Drunken Burger with truffle fries, this was $23 and $2 respectively before tax and tip. I have to say WOW, just WOW. I was absolutely stunned with the neat presentation, the taste and the freshness. The brioche bun smelled and tasted amazing. The fries were the best I’ve had in the city pared with what I believe is Parmesan cheese shavings. I’ve had a lot of burgers recently, this was by far THE best I have had at a restaurant so far. Cheese was melted, bacon was crispy and patty was flavourful. The only thing I can comment on is that I wish the patty was flattened a bit more. Other than that, this was just perfect. My mom ordered the Brie and bacon chicken breast. This was $36 before tax and tip. I had a bite and it was delicious. I also appreciate the colour of the beet root powder on the plate. Whoever is in the kitchen is thinking of everything, including presentation. Which is hard to come by in Regina. Although I didn’t snag a photo, we were brought fresh toasted bread slices with some dipping oil. We loved this so much we asked for seconds. I also want to touch on the amazing Ukrainian Man that served us. He was probably the best server I have ever had in the city. He was easy to talk to, attentive and checking in on us throughout our time there. Seriously, please give this man a raise! While this restaurant is a bit in the pricier side, I say GO HERE. Save your money and your disappointment on eating a burger elsewhere. Just go directly to Luna’s Kitchen. NOW ON TO THE DESSERT Even after a big, delicious meal, I couldn’t pass up on some home made baklava. I realized quickly that this beautiful restaurant is Greek owned. I want to start off by saying that I’ve been to Greece. I’ve tasted Baklava made by many, many Greeks. This dessert was probably one of the best if not the best baklava I have ever had. You can taste the love, the skill and the heart in this dessert. It isn’t too sweet, it’s heavy on the nuts. Which honestly, I’m not complaining. I usually have square sized or rectangular sized baklava, but a roll was unique! If I could comment anything, I would want just a liiiiiittle bit more syrup drizzled on top. Other than that, go to Luna’s Kitchen. Even just for this dessert!
Fantastic experience at Luna Kitchen. The food was extremely tasty, tons of gluten free options and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant, what a hidden gem in Regina!
I had an excellent dining experience at Luna Kitchen. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious, highlighting the chef's dedication to quality ingredients. Our server, Oleksii, provided impeccable service, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness throughout our meal. I was thoroughly impressed by his attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction. I look forward to returning soon and will enthusiastically recommend Luna Kitchen to friends and family.
Go to option if you’re looking for a classic fine dining but on a budget. Food was tasty and all ingredients tasted fresh. The potatoes didn’t seem to be well cooked however but would still recommend. The staff were so kind and checked in occasionally to see if we needed anything extra.
My Fiancé and I came here last night to celebrate our engagement. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we entered. Our waitress was very nice and quickly took our drink order. My fiancé had the Bacon Caesar and I had the coconut mojito. Both drinks were delicious! We ordered the Calamari and Shrimp Saganaki to start. The calamari came with a really fresh tasting tzatziki and the Shrimp were served in a delicious red sauce. We loved the appetizers and also enjoyed the complimentary bread they served. For dinner my fiancé ordered the 14OZ sterling silver steak cooked medium and I ordered the white truffle scallops pasta. The time we waited between the appetizers and dinner was pretty long (about 40 minutes). Our waitress told us that the steak takes a while to cook, but the food would be out shortly. Upon receiving our food I noticed that my pasta did not look how I thought it would. In the description on the menu and the photos online it shows the dish with pappardelle pasta and I was served some sort of spaghetti. I thought maybe I read the dish description wrong or perhaps the photos I saw were of a different pasta dish, but this was not the case. The waitress never said there would be any pasta substitutions. My fiancés steak was okay, a bit over cooked to be considered medium and the best part of his meal were the Greek potatoes. I was thankful that we ordered two appetizers because our entrees were not how we pictured them and were a bit of a let down. Overall the service was great and the ambiance was nice but the entrees were way too expensive to be considered just okay.
I’ve been meaning to go there for a while and boy oh boy was it ever worth it. I can’t compliment the chef enough for their amazing food! The quality and quantity was perfect! I got so full that that I needed to get a box and super excited to have for leftovers. The service was great and super friendly! I’d definitely make this place our date spot! Όλα ηταν υπέροχα, θα σας δούμε ξανά σύντομα!!!!!
This is a great restaurant conveniently located on Quance Street in East Regina. There is plenty of free parking. The menu has many great choices and they were able to handle gluten and dairy allergies very easily. The cocktails are unique and tasty. I had the Old-Fashioned which was prepared with a smoky flavour. It was very tasty. The burgers are also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the overall service was great!! I definitely recommend this place.
Excellent service, outstanding food, beautiful ambience. The owner was very accommodating to give us a 9pm reservation when they closed at 10. The server (from Hungary) and owner (from Greece) chatted with us throughout the evening which made the experience very pleasant. The rangoons were a great appetizer, and stand out entrees were the Athenian chicken and the chicken and waffle board. Next time we are through from Winnipeg, we will be back.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten & dairy free options! :) Parking: Perfect for date nights! :) Food : 5/5 |
The service was super slow, the waitress barely came around . The food was way over priced for what you got.
Get the duck. Best meal Ive had at any restaurant in Regina!
Food was meh. Was rushed out of the restaurant within 40 mins of sitting down after finishing when I was chatting with the mother and sister of deceased friend. Gave them a second chance recently and they took 2 hours to serve breakfast, had our 3 kids waiting and had others get their food who came 40 mins after. Kept being told couple more minutes for a very long time. Despite us being kind to our server during the whole unacceptable experience, Owners offered a free refill of drinks that cost them nothing to make up for it. Borderline insulting. Extremely poor customer experience both times and they clearly don t care. Never going back.
What an awesome discovery for 3 weary travellers. we chose duck, salmon and shrimp entree. The salmon was the best of the 3. Great care was clearly taken to blacken but not burn. The duck came with a wonderful glaze and was just sufficiently rare to be moist yet still cooked and served with excellent root vegetables. The shrimp were juicy and perfectly cooked. Greek salad was authentic and generously topped with delicious feta. Kudos to Caden attentive and charming service. Definitely a must-do if passing thru again.
Great taste and friendly staff.
This was our first time there, and we were visiting Regina. Parking was easy and close. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. Our server, Kiran, took very good care of us from start to finish. We both ordered the salmon and were impressed with the flavors of everything. The sauce on the salmon brought forth an amazing flavor. We will be back and we do recommend you try the Luna Kitchen
Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Tried the salmon - it was a large portion and very good.
Hands down, one of thee best places to get food in Regina, staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Food is an easy 5 stars. My wife and I have been going to Luna bistro for the last 5 years and we have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend the breakfast, Never fails. When we have family or friends visiting form out of town this is the first place we take them for food.
The ambiance of the restaursnt was very nice, you wont se eit until you get inside Our server was very nice very quick on getting us a drink and our order The food i should say was pricey, for 2 pcs of french toast with fries is $20 The menu as well is limited
First time to have dinner at Luna Kitchen Bar. Good service and good food. Nice ambiance. I ordered greek sea bass and my fiance he ordered slow braised ribs.
Everything was great, bourbon cigar smoke was memorable.
Great food and a great experience!
This is a beautiful restaurant with great service. Weve always enjoyed every item weve ordered.
Ordered family platter for take out, strongly recommended not doing that. Salad good. Wings, ribs and meatballs were not good and tasted like they were cooked, frozen and reheated. I think they should consider removing this from their menu.
Luna was a great experience. Lamb, ribs and calamari was very good. One of the best calamari I have ever had. Very good seasonal vegetables and great side potatoes. The food is reasonably priced (34 for ribs and 40ish for lamb). The smoked Old Fashioned was a little sweet. Id like to see a better draught selection, but it is not really the type of place for that. Our server was fantastic. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because we were the only ones in there. Some would say that is intimate tho. I would go back for sure!
Enjoyed an excellent dinner with amazing food, wine and ambience. Would highly recommend!
The staff were fantastic! Very attentive and the food was delicious.
Food was not remarkable, portions tiny and the kicker is the prices. Way too much for the size and quality. Table of 6 and no one was overly impressed, 2 dishes were messed up in the kitchen and those 2 had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for their food while the rest of us ate. Kitchen was not too concerned, no discount or comped drink or dessert offered. In fact, a chef left the kitchen and sat at a table socializing in the middle of dinner service. I have zero reason to go back, this was one of the least impressive and most expensive meals Ive had in quite some time.
Service was great. Food was also great.
Everytime I visit this restaurant the food and service is always amazing. Visited Luna on Saturday with my husband, we had the Athenian chicken and for dessert I had saskatoon berry cheesecake and my husband had baklava. The food was dessert was sooooo delicious! The waitress was excellent and the owner checked in to make sure we were satisfied, a great guy. This place never disappoints!
Visited with a group of friends and had amazing service. Good food and nice atmosphere.
Best breakfastin Regina. Super decent prices I honestly thought it would be more expensive. The owners are super lovely people. Love coming here
We had a birthday supper there with my parents who are in their late 70s. They did find the restaurant a bit loud, but no worse than many other places. The food was great, particularly the mussels for appetizers. The service was spot on, just the right amount of attention to the table. The mojito and espresso martini were 5 stars for sure! Well be back again!
Exceptional service. Food was spot on. I had the Lamb and my girlfriend had the Stuffed Chiken with feta. Both meals were cooked to perfection with beautiful presentation. We had the Greek salad to start and one of the and if not the best in Regina! The owner even came by to check in, always great to see. Located in East Regina overlooking a pond makes the dining experience that much better. I highly recommend this place for a nice evening out. We will deofntwly be back for the mussels, class and lobster!! Thank you to the owner for the gift of a warm shot to celebrate out 5yrs.
Amazing food and friendly service! Would definitely recommend!
Placed an order for delivery. Called the restaurant to ensure that allergens items would not be used. Got order, allergens in order, called restaurant and they say oh well it s premade( coulda told me) and that they can t do anything, not send a good order nothing, why? Because they use skip the dishes. I guess skip the dishes owns them right, terrible service for a 80$ dish wow. Do not recommend 0/10, don t care if you die from an allergic reaction. Dietary restrictions: They lie about allergens in food.
Ate here a few times. Dining in, the service in the evening is really poor. I have ordered out as well. The food is okay taste-wise, but the prices are insane. See attached pics. I was charged $20 for that chicken. The tomatoe sauce was also extra($15 I believe) and this is what we were given. Avoid this place, its been consistently poor in my experience.
I am giving 1 star because our server was good and our starter salads were good. The main meal was gross. My husband and I decided to Celebrate our anniversary at Luna (it was our first time going to Luna). My husbands steak was overcooked and was over seared and tasted burnt and his risotto was overcooked. My supper was the athenian chicken which was so over seasoned making it inedible, and my potatoes tasted old and had a pasty like texture. I am going to say the waitress knew that my food was gross because she never asked I wanted a box for all the food left on my plate. I had read some negative reviews on this restaurant, but wanted to test out for ourselves. My husband and I like trying to support local restaurants, but we will definitely never go back to this restaurant. My 20 year old son can cook better food then this restaurant. Super disappointed.
I always want to support small business restaurants hope this comment would be taken as just my experience, services was good no complaints there dinner was cooked hot and fresh, we got fried calamari s and octopus for start presentation was ok calamari s was cooked well not overcooked nice and soft as well as octopus portions are to big considering that this is the starter it should be smaller portion, soup was in pot for few days I can said that base on the amount of salt left on it, Greek Salad, how can you spoil this Greek traditional dish? What s is shredded feta cheese on Greek salad ? Never see it before looks bad test same, main dish Pasta with lobster is undercooked, Fish presented poorly, risotto overcooked, lamb cooked medium rare instead medium poorly presented I wasn t impressed with starch and veggies, such dish could be presented better with what I see, I hope this comment can just help the owners to improve it.
Impressive food and service.
The food is over priced. You pay $50 for a 4 oz steak and a few vegetables.
Had dinner at Luna for the first time for a private event. The staff was very accommodating to help the party a success. Service was a bit slow but overall, a great experience. Thanks for a great night.
Been here last Thursday. The greatest salmon in Regina and really great service. If you want to try place with Mediterranean kitchen in Regina this place is for you.
I used to think it s no normal restaurants in Regina.Luna kitchen has changed my mind.Lamb and duck here are really delicious. I hope this place will be an inspiration for someone and soon we would be able to see some new and nice restaurants in Regina. Food
One of the best places to have delicious food and nice service
Came all the way from omaha nebraska for their food, and it was worth it! Food is so good it made me cry! The owner Bill is so nice and welcoming!
The mussels spicy marinara and a champagne citrus white sauce...so good with crusty sour bread slices...a meal in and of itself! Excellent food and service for a special night out...treat yourself! Parking: Within a strip mall The front of restaurant tucked in yet restaurant expansive when you walk thru
The staff, especially Oleksi, was accommodating and helpful, checking on us about our meals and making sure we have everything we needed! Food was worth the price too, would come back.
Luna Kitchen and Bar left a mixed impression during our lunch visit. The extended wait of over an hour for food, coupled with the discovery of hair in one dish, tested our patience. Sending it back resulted in another 20-minute delay before being served. Despite the slow service, the redeeming factor was the commendable food quality. However, the overall experience was marred by sluggish ticket times and limited drink consumption due to the prolonged service. A place with culinary potential that unfortunately falls short in service efficiency.
A great little spot for a quiet date night or night out with friends. Our food was pretty good. I had filet with some shrimp. The shrimp were overdone, but the steak was quite good. My wife loved her pasta done with a miso based sauce. Our server was excellent and we enjoyed the night out.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Recommended dishes
Absolutely wonderful experience! The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. The meal was fantastic, I ordered the duck and it was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was exceptional, so well balanced. Will be going back again and again. Dietary restrictions: They were able to adjust their dishes to be more dairy free friendly.
Well. Unfortunately 2 stars for just my food and the ambiance. However from start to finish the service was not good. Should have known as he said first off, there used to be risotto and potatoes as sides but now no risotto?! Why bother? Cocktails took 20 minutes to arrive and when they did 3/4 were wrong. Waited another 10 minutes. Ordered our mains. My Drunken burger and Greek fries were delicious. Husbands burger was not the one ordered and had mushrooms which are not great for him to eat. Told the awesome water waitress as we couldnt find our server and didnt want to risk reordering. Said we wouldnt pay for it. Our Server disappeared. At bill time, full bill. Thats when we reminded our Server we werent going to pay for his dish. New bill. Left. Not going to come back.
Best Breakfast in Regina by far. We went at their busiest time and were seated quickly, got served quickly and food came quickly. The food was awesome - best bacon in Regina, Italian sausage was great, fresh croissant (wow), pancakes unbelievable. Servers were friendly and smiled every time they passed our table - big plus. Coffee and water refills every couple of minutes. This clean and classy restaurant has great ambiance with nice view of the creek. What more can you ask for? Owners always present to smile and ask how everything went. Nice people. Great staff. Wonderful food. DONT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE. (forgot to mention; my wife has to order gluten free because she is celiac - gluten free food was awesome!)
This is such a wonderful restaurant. A great experience.
I had the whipped feta with caramelized onions and crispy prosciutto served with bread....it was delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: Main floor dining room. Accessible for wheelchairs.
Charging for pop refill? What a joke. I ve had a family restaurant before and I can tell you this is robbery. Horrible way to treat customers. I came in with a bunch of friends we spent so much money on booze and food and still paid for pop refills. That s ridiculous stop being so cheap.
We used to enjoy ordering the Luna platter. But the last 2 times the quality has gone down. Ribs and wings we small and barely any meat on them and had no flavour and was way less then they used to give you. The only good thing was the fries and Caesar salad. I am not paying $75 For a bunch of fries and a salad though. We will not be ordering from here again.
Ive seen a lot of great reviews about their food, but when I ordered through SkiptheDishes I found that the food was low quality and definitely not worth the price. It was unfortunately not a great meal and I wont be ordering take-out from here again. Hopefully the food is better quality in-restaurant!
Very good! 4.5 stars
I stayed couple days in town, and this is best restaurant i meet in there. Owner is a real gentleman, and it was a pleasure to talk with him. Their bread and dessert are all homemade and the lamb I tried was one of the best I ve taste; 5 star!
The food was very good and the staff was awesome.
Incredible meal, great staff, nice atmosphere, not really anywhere else like it in town.
Incredible atmosphere & staff. Food was great but the portions were horribly small. I d come back... but probably not often. Expect to pay over $50 per person after extra appys & plates are factored in if you don t wanna be hitting a drive thru on your way home. The view of the river is also stunning!
Fantastic family brunch experience. Yum
Delicious food and outstanding service.
Normal restaurant. You can eat.
Disappointed with our meals and it seems staff is overworked trying to cover the bar preparing drinks for their table and providing table service at the same time. The meal took over 2 1/2 hours due to slowness of service and I must say the entrees were not up to par. Fish full of bones-which could be a serious problem if someone choked on a bone, steak was way over cooked to well well done, and duck was so over cooked and very very tuff. Would not recommend for dinner. I also experienced breakfast it was lovely.
Amazing food and atmosphere. One of my favourite restaurants in Regina!
Had another amazing meal at Luna. They are consistently great every single time! We took some friends from out of town and they loved it. Fresh amazing food and impecable service. Can t go wrong with Lunetta dish if you love pasta. Had fresh sea bass they had flown in from the mediterranean the day before. Have not had fish that good in Regina, ever. Highly recommend.
What an incredible experience at Luna. Came down for first time to Regina, Saskatchewan from Toronto. Was recommended this spot. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. One of my favourite parts was getting to meet the owner. He was so friendly, recommended a few dishes (which we picked and loved!) and even checked on our table a few times. The service here is unbeatable! The food and drinks were incredible. I felt transported to Greece for the night. Can t wait to come back and visit. Can t recommend checking this spot out enough!
Horrible experience, will never go back and will never recommend. I know restaurants are struggling, especially to get staff, but there was no excuse for the bad attitude of the manager the evening we were there (or I think it was an owner, hard to tell as he spent most of his time sitting at the bar or pouring trays of shots behind the bar). We were offered de-boned fish. Three of us had fish. Kitchen staff clearly didnt know what they were doing and everyones fish was full of bones, including large pieces of spine. When we noted this to our waiter, he spoke with manager/owner. The manager/owner couldnt even be bothered to come to our table, even though we were the largest group in the restaurant at the time. Instead, they threw the poor waiter under the bus sending him out to tell us that it was fish and is going to have bones. Ive eaten fresh fish all over the world, including while living for over a decade on the west coast. I know what to expect when a fish is professionally and properly deboned. Its simple, if you dont have staff trained on how to properly debone a fish then dont offer it deboned. Moreover, dont insult your paying guests by suggesting we are so dumb that we dont know that fish have bones! I also have enough experience to know that if you are told you have unhappy customers a good restaurant manager/owner comes out, checks in on the table and apologizes that our meal was not as we had expected. Again, really simple and basic rules of service. Also, our waiter introduced the fish, including a special, as being brought in fresh every 2 weeks and held on ice as being the freshest fish in Regina. I assumed he meant the fish was brought in every 2 days as Ive never heard of a place considering 2 week old fish to be fresh. However, after our experience with the fish and managements attitude, I am suspicious that the waiter did actually mean the fish was up to 2 weeks old! Even the chain grocery stores get it fresher. I checked the next day at my usual grocers and sure enough, they had fresh fish for sale that was 2 days old. I also let the waiter know that the starch on my plate was icy cold and got no response at all on that. We went in with high expectations having heard great reviews and recommendations, but left with nothing but big disappointments. It was supposed to be a celebratory evening for our family, but was spoiled largely by the incredibly bad attitude of the manager/owner. We had been planning on staying and ordering dessert, coffees and after dinner drinks, but packed it in early largely because of the manager/owners bad and insulting attitude. We had no interest in spending another dime there. We tipped our waiter well as it wasnt his fault and left.
First time visiting for supper. The steak was cooked to perfection and served on a bed of roasted potatoes, carrots and beets. Best ceasar salad and tiramisu was generous and delicious. Our server was fantastic, friendly and attentive. Owner stopped by our table. Great night out with friends!
Absolutely perfect service once again. Perfect food temperature, comfortable seating and a great atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly, polite and professional in each interaction with us. I think one of the owners names was Deanna, (forgive me if Im wrong) but she came out to meet us and introduce herself. I thought that was very thoughtful, what a sweet woman. What I can only assume would be her partner and other owner, was there to see us out and wish us a great day. Exception services from end to end. Im eating the leftovers right now... still tastes great!!
Service was great. Seems a bit over priced and value didn t match the price. Our meals were quite bland. Ribs were boiled and no Greek flavour as ordered. Chicken seemed tough and perhaps not freshly made. Veggies were luke warm at best. Totally underwhelming for a nice dinner out. We won t be returning.
Beautiful restaurant and okay service. However we had an issue with the meal (a lamb dish) and raised our problem to the manager. He insisted this is how all lamb is cooked, how all lamb looks and how the amount of meat present on the dish was par with all other restaurants who serve lamb. My thought process is if its just like everywhere else, why go to Luna? Lastly, the protein portion size is quite small vs the price so be aware.
Great place to get a well made drink and delicious food! Very nice owners and staff. Looking forward to going back.
Went for Brunch on a Saturday and place was PACKED! we managed to get seated at the bar instead of waiting and can certainly say service was 100% awesome. Caden was our server and being on the bar, we can see the staff prepare the drinks and coffee orders and it was hectic. Nevertheless, our order was taken quick and food came out fast. I had the classic breakfast and hubby had the steak and eggs. Will recommend both!!! Croissant was so buttery and melt in your mouth, bacon thick as ham and steak perfectly done! Ambiance is chic and there s also outdoor seating but you have to call to reserve that especially now the weather is nice. 10/10 will come back.
I liked the patio, the staff were friendly and they carry local craft beer!
Amazing place to eat, great food, the staff was friendly, and attentive, definitely will be back, best dining experience Ive had!!
Thank you so much for a beautiful birthday evening. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the pumpkin and lentil soup followed by the Athenian chicken. It was delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
I gave a Star to the lovely new server who should leave Luna to use her skills at a better establishment! Wish we had seen Kathryn s review before going! Same horrible fish story, three months later I had Sea Bream, my husband Sea Bass - supposedly deboned. Someone took over 45 minutes extra to debone leaving it mutilated on the plate. Our server warned us there could still be bones, but nothing could have prepared us for the amount of bones, spines and scales to deal with. The Olive Oil Lemon sauce tasted like a heavy dose of yellow mustard had been added making it inedible. The rice was cold and flavourless. The cooked carrots were still raw and flavourless. The Red Wine Sangria was undrinkable. They muddled the fruit and added way too much orange juice making it a cloudy mess. Couldn t taste any wine at all. We should have sent it all back. Instead we paid over $100 for a completely horrible meal.
Everything was perfect!
We would like to thank you Niki and your amazing staff for an amazing experience of an intimate dinner with our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was able to meet with your lovely mom and gave me a complimentary coffee/bailey drink:) We also met with ur dad who is so sweet. Your staff that helped us were amazing , prompt / quick service, always asking what else we needed throughout our dine in. We were stuffed already with amazing appies/breads while waiting for our main course. Sidney and Caden were the main waitresses for our table so they both stood out and really excel with good customer service! Deserve a clap Few of your staff also came and helped with serving us were all good. This is our first private reservation at your restaurant , we had a good time , amazing intimate experience and delicious foods. We will definitely go back! Thank you, please send this review to the rest of your staff that night.
First time there and was not disappointed. Waitress was very helpful, food was great and setting was very relaxing
Had the pleasure of dining here this past Saturday for my wife s Birthday. The dinner was fantastic, I started with the grilled octopus which was perfectly cooked and charred bringing perfect texture and loads of flavour. My wife being gluten free was super excited to learn there was a gluten free option for the French onion soup which was a perfect blend of caramelized onions, red wine and fresh herbs. I had a duck breast for my main which was perfect! This is a hidden gem, you can tell the love and care that goes into every dish! The atmosphere was great with perfect lighting, quiet music and an attentive staff to ensure you enjoy every minute of your experience! I highly recommend treating yourself! Great job guys!!
We arrived and were shown our table. Great waitress, very friendly and pleasant. Ordered drinks. Ordered JD, was told they didnt have any...ordered Makers Mark, was told they didnt have any. Had to settle for Jim Beam. My friend asked for Tanqueray gin...not available. His wife wanted a Cosmopolitan. The bar staff didnt know how to make them. Took 1/2 hour for my wifes drink to arrive after the rest of us had already received ours. She ordered a Dirty Martini...what arrived was a drink that was very red in colour due to WAY too much olive juice. Re-ordered...same result only marginally better. We ordered our food. I had the calamari as an appetizer...about as average as you could get. Were told the Sea Bass and Bream were available and fresh that day. Our friends ordered one of each. Then the waitress told us the Sea Bass wasnt even there and they only had time to clean one Bream. Seriously. The dinners began to arrive. Mine and my friends came first. Then his wifes arrived. We waited for my wifes pasta meal for maybe 10 minutes. She told us to start because she didnt know when food was going to show up. The waitress apologized and was very nice. I finally told her that we were very disappointed in the ineptitude of the bar staff, the lateness of everything and the general lack of knowledge as to what was available and there for the diners. Then the owner/chef? came over to see what was happening. I began to explain and then he started to tell me about supply issues trying to deflect and making excuses... I told him he wasnt listening. He then told me to calm down. I was not yelling etc so I told him the conversation was over. He went away. If he had been a tiny bit more solicitous and listened before making excuses, showing us he was actually concerned we might have come away with a different opinion. Absolutely no effort whatsoever to make any sort of amends. Now the funny thing is, the food (except for the calamari) was very good. As we were leaving another patron was going out for a smoke break and asked us how our experience was. I briefly explained the situation and he replied that their group had been waiting 1.5 hours for their food and were unhappy as well. In closing I would also say that IT WAS NOT BUSY! The place wasnt even half full. Will not be going back...ever.
Absolutely the best. If you are Gluten Free you will especially enjoy this warm and inviting restaurant.
Food was fine. But the timing of service, and the availability of options that were described to us when seated as actually being available were suboptimal.
Great atmosphere! Friendly staff all around. Awesome food! Even has great gluten free options for us celiac folks.
Ordered 1 night in advance. Waited 45minutes inside the restaurant after my scheduled pick up time. They informed me they were still working on the food 30min after I got there. No apologies or discounts were given. Of the 2 meals we got 1 wad good the other was not edible very off tasting.
5 stars. Very sweet owner and delicious food. Not too sure why there are Asian dishes scattered throughout the menu but stick with the mains and youre solid.
Exellent place for a nice meal!
DANG. Here I am with all 6 foot 5 of Regina s finest man, at what is one of Regina s finest restaurants. Simply walking in the door was an experience in itself; the entrance looked like something straight off my Pinterest dream Board. The coconut mojito changed the course of my life and that feta & smoked Gouda cheese appetizer left me questioning the meaning of my existence. The pasta pescatore did not disappoint; how could it, with those 8 lb scallops & shrimp? From the food to the service, to the windows and to the walls, Luna brought it home. Impeccable experience.
Nice atmosphere, I like it more before Covid, and good food, nice staff
With ALL Covid-19 restrictions being strictly adhered to we hosted a family gathering restaurant style at Luna. Niki and the staff were amazing. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was the most amazing. Thank you Luna for providing a needed ray of light in these no-so bright times.
We order from Luna as often as we can afford, and its incredible every time. This time though, we got the Valentines specials: duck breast, filet mignon, and lobster tail. They truly outdid themselves. This has been one of the best meals Ive ever eaten. I would recommend Luna and Breakfast Bistro to anyone in a heartbeat. Absolutely outstanding food every time!
Ive been here several times now and each visit has been a great experience. From the Indian dip to the rack of lamb, Athenian chicken, duck breast, or a filet mignon with boubon maple scallops, Ive tried much of their menu and I havent been let down by any of the dishes or cocktails. The servers are fantastic and the owners and chef (Family owned by husband and wife with their daughter as executive chef) are so incredibly polite and passionate about what they do. Both this and their breakfast restaurant are places that I will likely return to many times.
We went just after the restaurants were allowed to open up again. The food was excellent, we shared a couple of appetizers including the feta and calamari. Both were amazing and the in house tzatziki was very flavourful. I had the rack of lamb which was very tender and properly cooked to a medium rare. Our cocktails were well made and complimented the food perfectly. Our server was friendly, and made some great recommendations. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and it was nice to view the water.
The restaurant is lovely. Very beautiful. Service was also top notch. Waitress refilled drinks at least 3 times during our time there. My issue is with menu description. One of the meals was described as White truffle scallops tossed in a light and creamy white wine sauce with lemon zest, drizzled with brown butter, and finished with shaved black truffle however we were brought out a bowl of pasta with 4 scallops. Nowhere does it is indicate its a pasta dish. The other pasta dishes do, so we were quite taken back by this. We thought we were given the wrong thing. Lastly was the excessive, annoying and rather disgusting fly issue. We were seated by the patio door and when I say we had a fly problem I mean they were crawling over our legs, feet and food the entire time. It was at least half a dozen flies. We were able to kill a few but it seemed like the longer we were there, the more there were. For such a nice place... for any food establishment really, flies shouldnt be an issue inside. We ended up packing up the majority of the meal and leaving. For a $100 dinner, Id expect to get the described item and significantly less insects.
awesome atmosphere, love the cozy lights, we got onion soup creamy tomato soup and as a main dish the duck. Onion soup was ok though bread took forever to arrive, it would have been nice to get bread at the same time as the soup. For me onion is not onion soup without bread. Duck was good and beautiful presentation. Be ready to paye a very high price most dishes are at the $30-$40 range, soup was $9, duck was 30, spaghetti and tomato sauce was $18 and you had to add another $18 to have meat ball with it, I would say this restaurant is more a $$$. More so like a fine restaurant with a creative chef .
Good stuff
Great food. Great staff.
Service was quick and friendly, the place was busy but not packed, the food was delicious and we ordered too much unaware of portion sizes. The owners approached us during the meal to ask if everything was good. A very rewarding experience.
Always delicious! OBSESSED WITH THE WHITE TRUFFLE SCALLOPS
Best service here all the time. The owners always take initiative to chat with the customers any time I go here and they all go above and beyond. Food quality is probably ranked top #3 in the city. Hands down.
Horrible. Overpriced and the food isnt even good. The lady who was seating everyone who we think was the owner, wasnt friendly at all and said this would be the only time we would be able to use our vaccine card rather than the QR code. We were the only ones in there when we arrived and it slowly began to fill up with people. We were the LAST to receive our food and our drinks came after. Not worth the headache. Go to coras for breakfast.
Always have a great meal here. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is quick and attentive. Great choice for a date night or just a nice supper. They do a wonderful job making it feel like a personal experience and making sure you are satisfied.
We have eaten here twice now and both times the food and the service has been excellent. The Greek ribs are to die for. I highly recommend!
We had a great Valentines night at Luna. Awesome food. Great wine recommendation. Very reasonable price with big portion.
Breakfast was ok but surely overpriced. Maybe the cook had a bad day. Dont think well be going back.
Awesome service. Awesome food. Great for a romantic date
Picked up gluten free soup & bread for s friend. Ill be back to eat myself.
Not sure if it was the food or the flu but 2 out of 4 of us that ate there one evening got sick.
Went there last night prior to going to an event at Conexus Art Centre with my daughter. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated immediately and within 5 minutes gave our food order. It was quiet and only 6-8 tables occupied. At 6:15 we asked about our meals and the soup starter. The soup was brought within minutes and we were advised our meal was was being cooked and would arrive shortly. We advised him we had an event to attend so time was of some importance. 15 minutes later I flagged our server and asked again about our meal. It was served shortly thereafter. I had ordered one of the $20 burgers and my daughter the salmon. The salmon was fine but uninspired for $30. The burger was terrible. Greasy on the bottom and the top of the bun was dried out and crumbly. The burger itself was greasy and not particularly tasty. Neither of us even came close to finishing our meals. The server asked about our meals and we told him the issues. He apologized and said he would tell the kitchen. No further apology was forthcoming. As a side note, there was a man in a gray sports coat at the bar less than 20 feet away and when I asked if that was a manager (hint, hint), I was told no, hes the owner. One would have thought the issue would have been escalated but....
Always good experience. Sometimes waiting time is longer than usual.
Wife got a family style platter to go, Wow!. Great food and plenty of it. We will go for a proper visit once restrictions are lifted.
Great food and service
Excellent!
Simply put excellent food!!!
I really enjoyed my lunch there. Service was excellent. Food was delicious with a real nice variety of different items on the menu.
Is the best restaurant in Regina!! I will recommend it to everyone!!! The greatest experience !!
Excellent Meal, excellent service!
Service was excellent and food was extremely tasty
We brought a group of friends to Luna Kitchen/Bar last night to celebrate my husbands retirement. We used the meeting room which was absolutely lovely with a gorgeous view. All eight of us had excellent meals and were thoroughly happy with the quality and service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Nikki!
Food was amazing as always. The menu had lots of options for everyone including some of us with specific dietary needs and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We love this place and definitely recommend it to everyone. Support local, Luna is awesome!
Love it! Always a wonderful meal to be had.
Awesome!
Everything was amazing!
Just ate here for the first time! The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing and our server Annie was very friendly and attentive. They are following all COVID regulations. Definitely going to be eating here again! Thanks Luna for the great meal and service!
Delicious, authentic cuisine in a beautiful setting at reasonable prices. The owners and staff are so doting and caring... makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. And the food!!! Out of this world!
Amazing ambience and food
Delicious! So much flavour and good amount of food too. A rare combo.
Do not book a large group here. Preordered and still took minimum 2 hours for meals to arrive. Some still didnt receive their meals after 3 hours. Food was good but not worth the $100 bill which included 2 meals, 2 beer and 2 glasses of wine, no appies.
Great food. Need to go back
Had a birthday party held by my friend at luna. The staff were so friendly and the food was phenomenal! The owner is so nice aswell. My advice, this place is amazing!
I have tried this place for a sunday brunch and my experience was great. The food is delicious and service is super friendly and warm. Tge menue is divided to 3 main categories and the staff will help you out with your decisions. The prices are slightly higher than what i expected but it is justifiable. The natural light and the big wide windows gives it a vibrant environment. They can use more plants in their interior since they have such great natural lighting.
Meh, average. Probably won t go back.
Amazing, food, atmosphere, everything! Wow!
Alittle disappointed 2nd time there first time was excellent disappointed with quality and taste hope 3rd time better
This place was amazing! Perfect place for a drink, appetizers or a meal. The indian dip was sooo good and big enough to share. Nice fireplace and great ambiance. Will definitely go back!
Fantastic food and a surprisingly low price. Wonderful atmosphere, the lights themselves are quite beautiful. The staff care deeply about the food, and what you think of it. I cannot say enough good things, so go try it out for yourself and enjoy the high end feel and tastes
At night, this is the romantic Italian restaurant I never got to visit in Italy. I felt cared for, with the waitress remembering me the next day and the owner taking time to talk to me. I have never fallen in love with an atmosphere like this before ... oh, the food is good too! Cant wait to come back!
I only give it two stars because of my good experience last time I was here. The wait times are pretty long but I like the food I had in here in the past.Cut the story short...I will never ever go back here again...they put me off today...I called to reserve a table for 10 to 12 people for Fridays noon and the person on the phone is asking for a deposit!!!! I told him that I dont feel like paying a deposit for everyone just because I volunteered to book this place and after putting me on hold...he comes back and says :ok!Can I have your details so I can book a table for you...after giving all my details he is asking again for a deposit for 6 people and I had it there...why will you ask for my info when I already told you I am not paying a deposit!!!!such a waste of time...welll...they lost me as a customer and MOXIES happily booked a table for us WITHOUT a deposit...
The blonde lady at the front could really use a lesson in customer service. She skipped my name while waiting for a meal, and did not even offer an apology. She is the face of this place, which is unfortunate, as she is definitely giving people a bad impression and pushing people away from here.
Great ambiance, and great food! Will go back again!
Excellent meal and service. Large family group. The young man serving us did not miss a beat. Food was very tasty.
Food was very good, service was good. No complaints except for wait times to get in and the time it took to get our food was long. (50 minutes from the time we ordered).
Terrible experience waited over 55 minutes for our order. Owner didn t seem to care at all when I asked her why everyone who came after us got there food first. Not worth it go anywhere else.
Amazingly delicious, had the GF Chicken&Avocado Benedict. Very filling. Didnt even touch the homemade diced potatoes!! Service was good, the ambiance is great.
My chicken and waffles were delicious and my husband liked his bacon and eggs.
Great food. And the service is exceptional
Great ambiance and the food is amazing. Its a little more expensive than pub fare, but not so much as fine dining and its excellent quality food.
Always had a great experience here!
Everything about this restaurant is great. I rarely give 5 stars to restaurants, because usually there is something that needs to be changed, but this restaurant was fantastic! You should try their special beetroot burger with yam fries. The taste was unforgettable. They thought alot about the interior design and decoration. Their staff are so friendly, professional and helpful.
I love Luna Kitchen! My sons & I try to make this a family ritual every Sunday...brunch with Mom! The food is excellent, the service spot-on & its such a great room...you feel like youre in a different city...one much more cosmopolitan! A local gem!
Service was fantastic. Food wasnt as amazing as I was led to believe. My chicken was overcooked.. :( Ill give it one more shot before I quit. :)
Been here more then a dozen times and never a bad meal. Excellent service and food. The filet mignot is some of the best in the city if not the best.
Wonderful service. Excellent food. Enjoyable atmosphere.
Read the reviews and thought we d give it a try! Absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and good portions! Seasoned to perfection! Service was friendly & the owner came out to say hello. A definite 5-star experience!
Super yummy menu options and amazing service! The prices are well worth the food 110%
Amazing service and excellent food. Our server was super friendly, checked on the table often and knowledgeable about the menu. Ordered the calamari to start finishing with the duck entree with cream of broccoli and cheddar soup. It was all fantastic. The restaurant was incredibly clean with a great atmosphere. I will definitely go again.
Beautiful
Went there for a Birthday party, table was nicely set up. Food was Amazing, Highly recommend the Chicken burger. They made a great burger childrens meal for my daughter. The mussels were so delicious. The owner or manager came around afterwards and greeted us what was so nice. Highly recommended. Highest of 5 rating

We had our work Christmas Party here and was completely impressed with everything! I cant say enough about this place!
The food and service was amazing! Lots of GF options. Atmosphere was wonderful. The Sambuca shrimp appetizer was out of this world! All 4 of us were completely pleased with our orders and cant wait to go back
One of our favorites, fantastic food and always amazing service. Vasislis is definitely our favorite server. Always amazing service. The Indian dip is a must and the ribs were amazing.
