Great ambience and service.. in my rice bowl, rice came undercooked but overall the food is tasty

A large group with a server who was on the ball from start to finish.

Was visiting Regina and saw they serve Chili Rellenos so I had to go scratch that itch. Delicious! Takes me back to Mexico. Lol

I havent found a favorite dish here yet, most things Ive had are good but nothing knocking my socks off.

Stopped in for lunch at Agave. Had heard good things but had not been before as I have heard good things about other place that do mexican food in Regina and have never really been impressed Let me say that Agave lives up to the hype. The service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food,, OMG the food. I had a simple plate of chicken Taquitos with beans and rice. It was only 15 dollars and it was phenomenal. The sides had such depth of flavor and the Taquitos were perfectly crispy. Their salsa Verde and salsa rojo are so delicious that I ended up buying so to take home. Best Mexican food in the city and best I have had in Regina ever.

I organized a fundraiser for a friend at Agave. I cannot rave enough about the support they provided. Their fundraiser package was great. They had several options and covered the printing of tickets. While figuring out details, the staff responded so quickly and professionally. Food, atmosphere and service were top notch for the event. We all had a such a great time. Thank you!

Chorizo omelet was the best omelet I have eaten.

Had the enchiladas they were really dry and expensive also the sides were prepackaged food from a grocery store, the salsa was old and the chips were stale! Honestly dont recommend.

I have never liked beans or guac, but I like their beans and guac. The food is so good, it makes me miss living in Regina. And those churros? Amazing.

Amazing! The food was great, portion sizes were large! I ordered the taco spread from the catering menu for an office lunch and everyone loved it! Especially the pork pastor tacos and the refried beans that came with! Service was great as well, one of the easiest and best places Ive ordered catering from! Vegetarian options: We got the vegan fajita option for the vegetarians and vegans in the office! Dietary restrictions: The taco spread is completely gluten free!

This is such a fun and amazing place to eat! Our food was outstanding and the atmosphere is so dang cute, it s like a vacation to Mexico. Everything is so tastefully done. Our waitress Paula was absolutely amazing! That was the best service I may have ever had eating out. She was incredibly attentive, full of joy, she made our dining experience fun and seriously treated us like we were her o lot table. Seriously five stars. Will be back and will hope for Paula again!!! ;)

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food did not meet the expectations of authentic Mexican cuisine, and the quality was below average. Additionally, the service was lacking, and I noticed that we were overcharged, with a tip added to our bill without our consent. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration to improve both the food and service.

Walked in at 2:30. A couple of tables filled. Stood waiting to be seated. Nobody came. We left. Wont be back.

We absolutely love coming here. This is our monthly treat to ourselves and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and make excellent suggestions when we bring others to enjoy our favourite space. The prices are affordable and portions are good. Food

We had a group of 14 yet the service was great and the food was wonderful. I had the barbacoa enchiladas and they were 10/10.

Very tasty, authentic Mexican food. Great allergy accommodation for Celiac with gluten and soy allergies. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian quesadilla was very tasty. Dietary restrictions: Lots of marked gluten free options. Easily able to accommodate soy allergy. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, ramp access, single level, easy tables.

The waiter asked for a tip as if it was required. A tip is given for the great service that was provided if I dont feel the need to pay a tip thats totally my decision. The waiter should not be greedy and ask. oh are you gunna be paying the tip in cash . The owner should be made aware of this.

Look, I want to preface this by saying that each individual server I have dealt with is the most friendly and polite person ever. But the service is terrible in this restaurant because whoever runs it does not have enough servers working at any time. Lately weve gone and spent at least two to three hours for a meal. Were constantly waiting for drinks, food, refills, and bills. I can also see that every server is super stressed because theyre always running from table to table to try and help their customers. This is one of my favorite places to go because it provides delicious gluten-free food and I mean delicious. The food is incredible, just match the food with good service and this would be an amazing restaurant. This is the way it used to be, we could enjoy a meal and not have to spend multiple hours in this restaurant and have our server apologize for the kitchen being busy when theres maybe 10 tables occupied. You will have happier, less stressed servers if you give them the proper support. I hate that this is become such a trend these days where restaurants are not hiring enough people to adequately serve and provide support to their co-workers because they want to keep costs low. Its really discouraging to see that because it makes the restaurant business look really thoughtless as they run their employees into the ground. Dietary restrictions: The gluten-free selections are incredible.

I would argue that Agave is the best Mexican restaurant in Regina. The service was great and our server had fantastic recommendations. He made sure our glasses were full and if we needed more tacos. There is so much flavor and the cocktails make you feel like youre on the beach in PV. We went for their all you can eat tacos and the side taco bar did feel like an authentic street cart vendor. Honestly, a great meal at a great price. The restaurant decor is quintessentially Mexico and is beautiful and colorful.

Very fun place to go for after work or lunch with friends. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Beans were so delicious and the sauce was great with chips. Recommend the Agua Fresca and the Jamaica drink.

Came in around 4, had all you can eat tacos. Our taco meat was so dry... Until the very last one I ordered when they mustve made a new batch, which was super juicy and flavorful. Not to mention some tacos didnt have the right toppings on it. We got our food before we even got the margarita. My side sour cream came after I ate 4 tacos.. It wasnt busy. Service was poor, and I felt ripped off. Wont go back, in fact I will also tell others not to go.

The food, drinks, and atmosphere at this place is amazing, however the service was terrible. We came in on Friday, June 7 and waited 50 minutes before we got service for drinks, then another 15 minutes before we ordered food. At the time we were there, it wasnt very busy in the restaurant, so not sure why the service was terrible. Despite this, the food was worth the wait and we may return in the future. Have been here when they do not have all you can eat (ayce) tacos for a meal and it is great food and got very good service. I had a chicken fajitas. It tasted really good. Then I came for the ayce tacos and wow, the food is great. Service is as to be as expected when it gets busy. Had the carnitas, fish and chicken tinga tacos. I was not a fan of the beef tacos but not sure if it was the flavouring but I like the carnitas better. Will be back again in the near future. Parking: Get there early to get a spot on Tuesday ayce tacos if you are going during prime time dinner time.

I had beef enchiladas, my husband had beef skillet, everything was made in house. It was fresh, hot and service was great. My husband said it was definitely a new favourite for him, and I agree. So glad we tried something new today.

Amazing authentic Mexican environment with a legitimate Mexican Chef and server who was so pleasant and helpful. I have never been to Mexico but now I understand the excitement with all the colours and interesting food! Our server Yetza topped off the whole experience with her kindness and positivity.

I didnt get a chance to catch his name, but my server was fantastic. Incredibly nice, accommodating, and willing to explain the dishes we had questions on. Probably one of the best services I have ever had in the city.

Not sure what they mean by authentic Mexican food, Definitely not. The food quality is very poor, the only thing positive is the bartender trying to make some cocktails. Also, if you re going to call yourself an authentic Mexican place, please do not present bottles of hot sauces for salsa. As seen in the image below!

Mr and my spouse went here for lunch and the food was great but after we were finished and it came time to pay the waitress put her self down for a 33 dollar tip, thats more than 50% of the bill, honestly we wont be coming back here anytime soon.

Wow! My wife and I recently discovered this place and it does not disappoint. The decor is quite festive, vibrant and colourful which we loved. The food is also amazing! The first time we went, I had the all you can eat tacos (so many good varieties) and my wife had the enchiladas. The next time, we stopped in for Brunch on the weekend and had the chorizo benedict bowl and churro french toast (a special). All were flavourful and delicious. Drinks (margaritas and coco caliente) and dessert (tres leche cake) were also great. Service was excellent as the staff were patient with us explaining some of the dishes and drinks that we were unfamiliar with. Highly recommend this place for excellent Mexican fare and also for a unique option for a weekend brunch.

While the flavours of the fajita and burrito bowl were good - the beef in both was so unbelievably tough it was not edible. Service was good. The bathrooms are so gross - when the doors open you can smell the stale urine stench. I was here 5 months ago and the gross smell from bathrooms existed then.

Guacamole , pico salad were all cold (from fridge); Veggie Fagitta, Enchiladas were very very oily. You can see the oily (shine) in fagitta platter pic here. (And the explanation they give is if it is not cold it will go bad. Not acceptable. Because we are going to consume the food now at the restaurant. Secondly in my 10yrs of having mexican food across the globe..Never had this cold guacamole and Pico. Over pricee food. Not worth the price we pay for . Bad experience with food. Wont come back again. Wont recommend to my friends

Ive been meaning to go here for ages and finally did today. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and great service.

The food was good. The chips and salsa to start were sparse. There was a long curly hair in it! Service was sparce and not helpful. They overcharged on my bill. I expect more from a restaurant for that much money.

We didn t eat in we ordered from Aguave. Unfortunately our food was dry and flavourless when it arrived and we had to throw it out and ended up making something different. The food here is way too expensive to have to do this. 106 dollars in the garbage bin. We ordered from here because people raved over it.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon, and the food was absolutely disgusting. I had huevos rancheros and it was basically tasteless swap in a plate. I went with my parents and they returned their meals without eating. There is definitely not a Mexican chef employed here as his advertised on their website. Worst customer service. I ordered the same meal I have ordered in the past. They are trying to tell me I ordered the frozen pastor meat. Never going back and never ordering from them again. Im from Texas. I know authentic Mexican. Nothing about this was Mexican. Everything was massively overpriced. I cant express in words how disappointing the experience was. The menu is missing even the most basic staples of Mexican food. And they dont even give you real salsa or a regular size basket of tortilla chips. Its asian spring roll sauce!!! Lol. The green sauce was weirdly sweet. And Im pretty sure they give you mango baby puke as a third dipping sauce for your chips. I feeling like suing for false advertisement by them calling themselves authentic.

This place was incredible from the decor to the fried ice cream. From the moment you walk into the restaurant you have a feeling of authenticity. Our server Yetza was friendly, and helpful with suggestions from the menu. The serving size was more than adequate, all of us could barely finish our meals. Of course we had to leave room for fried ice cream which I highly recommend. My wife and I shared one and we both had more than you traditionally get. Overall I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back next time I m in Regina! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burritos and vegetarian fajitas.

As a mexican, I can say that this is the best mexican food Ive had in Canada. I would totally recommend it. Its a little pricey, but its worth it.

Great food, little pricey for what you actually get. Service side for employees was great. However, an hour and half waiting for food is long, and it should be 30 minutes max. The bathroom was quite gross, to be completely honest. The rest of the restaurant was very nice, though. Overall, they need faster service for food leaving the back of the house, to reach the front. Renovation to the bathroom and higher cleaning standards on that front. Was enjoyable will visit again and recommend going here if so asked.

If you are looking for incredible mexican cuisine with fantastic service then Agave Authentic Mexican Grill is the place for you. The waitress was friendly, fun, quick and very helpful with recomendations as it was our first time there. My partner and I have been to many amazing restaurants in Regina but this one really takes the churro. I got the beef taco and the chipotle pork taco and both were phenomenal. The guacamole is the best I have ever had at any restaurant. I could go on but to be concise, this place had fantastic food and service and we will definitely be coming back.

Lost our friends reservation for her birthday. When we did get seated, the waiter talked so quiet you couldnt hear him speak. The food came out cold, when I asked for hot sauce he couldnt understand why.

Most of the food was somewhat fresh, the house tortilla chips were obviously made previously, sometime within the last 48 hours but not fresh made that evening; comes with 3 house hot sauces. A little disappointed with the salsa they served with their Quesadillas(Very clearly Old El Paso Salsa with a bit of spice to kick it up) despite having their own in house hot sauce, which was very flavorful and varying degrees of spice(quite nice with house tortilla chips). Portions are large for most things, except Tacos. Tacos are a real disappointment here. They give you tiny little 2 or 3 bite tacos, not full sized tacos, and the price is $8 per taco(no side) or get 2 with a side for $20. Way over priced tacos...in fact, the portions seem designed to force you into paying for more than you want or need, just to drive up the bill price. Spent $35 per person on just food and walked away, not hungry but still unsatisfied. The deep fried ice cream was interesting, if maybe a little much. One huge scoop of ice cream with little to no toppings served with it besides the deep fried candy sugar shell they fry it in, 2 blueberries, a bit of whipped cream and a single chip of white chocolate, all that for a whopping $14, after waiting 15 minutes for the ice cream; and it wasnt even busy, maybe 6-8 tables seated in the whole restaurant. It seems like it might have been a great place with great food at one point, but it is clearly on the decline now. Honestly, Im disappointed with the experience there, after all the good things Id heard from people who went when it had first opened. It was so bad that the mint garnish leaves on the ice cream had not yet been slapped and were so old, they had little to no fragrance once they were slapped. Seems like theyve given up on the quality side of things, without adjusting their prices to reflect this drop in quality. Very sorry folks, but no photos of this one. The food was very good for the price and the service was amazing!

We went last night for my birthday, as always, did not disappoint! The chicken enchiladas were spectacular and my husband tried a chimichanga and loved it. We always know it will be a fabulous meal!

I got three different tacos Pastor - 3rd favorite (my own fault, should have added salsa) Carnitas - 2nd favourite (night light, lingering flavour and very tender) Tinga - Favourite, absolutely phenomenal, this will be my go-to from now on Service A++++, among the best in city We also came when it was not very busy, which I really appreciated. Fantastic atmosphere Melissa; next time you eat here, the ideal would be chicken tinga, rice, pico, tortilla chips. Better without soft corn tortillas, prefer rics

Quesadilla was ok. If you like lots of queso in your quesadilla you might be disappointed. There is more meat than cheese and you can hardly taste the cheese.

Love their food, drinks and atmosphere! Great choice for gathering events. Agave has many dinning tables can fit in large groups. My personal favourite is their beef platter. :)

This is by far one of the best places to eat in regina. The food is absolutely incredible and worth the price. Meals are usually in the $20 range. I would suggest going at lunchtime for great prices and still a great portion of food! I have had nothing but good service here. Its definitely worth trying!
