A shame, we went 4 times to the restaurant and it was always closed. Sometimes they put a paper on the door and sometimes just nothing. Even it is written open on the site and on Instagram. We paid 4 Times the Uber for nothing and had to walk in -30 degrees to find another restaurant.
Our party of 7 waited 20-25 minutes to order our drinks and food only to find out 10 minutes after ordering that they could not make 3 of our drinks because they had no bartender and could only offer either wine or beer. When we placed our order we had to physically point to our items on the menu, drinks and food, so the server knew what we wanted. We waited 50 minutes for our food and somehow part of it was still wrong for 2 people in our party despite how we ordered. The food was delicious and hot but because we were in a time crunch of going to the globe theatre we opted to eat the items that were wrong as we didn't have time to correct the mistake. They were delicious as well but not what they had ordered. 1 person in our party who was not going with us to the globe theatre stayed behind to get boxes for her leftovers and needed to wait an additional 20 minutes for that. The restaurant didn't seem that busy and we thought the service could've been better as we were there for almost 2 hours.
Ordered pizza and spaghetti tonight. The pizza crust was extremely dry and over cooked as well as undercooked in the center. How do you manage that with a thin crust pizza???? The spaghetti had easily been sitting for 6 hours minimum with how dry and crappy the noodles and sauce were. Absolute garbage pizza and pasta place.
I was on the hunt for some wood fired thin crust pizza in Regina. It seems Famoso is the only option with 2 locations. Downtown on a Saturday at 7pm was pretty dead. Just 3 table saw including me. The food came out in a timely fashion and was as good as I expected. Nice atmosphere and many menu choices outside of pizza!
Great Italian restaurant in downtown Regina. Probably the safest option for food, if you are new in town. Food was great. Good quality ingredients and cooking was great too. We had Tomato Soup, Linguine Pasta and Margarita. Prices are on the higher end; we paid $55 dollars with tips. Ambiance is cool and welcoming. Would probably come back again.
We made a reservation for 15 the day of which they happily accommodated however the service was painfully slow even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. 2 hour wait for food made our guests wondering what was going on. Only got offered one round of drinks and no refills after that. The pizza was pretty good but salad and pasta was only okay. Gelato was a treat. Overall not the best experience but would likely be better with a smaller group of people.
Very disappointing. We have enjoyed our experience at Famoso in the past. This time the carbonara sauce was bland curdled and separated and they also forgot the pancetta, the lettuce was rusty (the worst parts were in the garbage by the time the picture was taken). The wings themselves were good, but you can see a lack of care even in simply tossing them so the sauce would be evenly coated. The lasagna was fine, though not very warm which I will give a bit of a pass on since it was takeout. The pizza was good. Edit: this review was intended for the east location, but I understand the ownership is the same regardless.
Order from them through Uber Eats, the food got cold, the garlic bread was hard as a rock and unchuable and the pasta was way over cooked. The pizza was burnt. Call the restaurant who try to balm the driver, and refused to take any responsibility. Then told me that I can write Uber eats for a refund. For the prices they ask the food is just not worth it! Over paid for a food that went straight into the trash. Was extra disappointed as I tried other Famoso location and they were way better. Won’t be back to this location!
Waited 45min with no food, no one bothered to check on our table. Wasted my lunch time.

Been awhile since I d tried Famoso and today will be my last chosen visit. I waited almost 30 minutes to get a menu. Then the waitress didn t listen to my questions and simply said yes to a question I asked about a cup of soup. When I got my food, after about a 30 minute wait the pizza was tasteless. There was zero flavour and it had about 4 shrimp on it. On top of that, I had to ask for a drink refill after the staff walked by multiple times. Definitely has gone down hill!
Pizza was good although youll want a fork and knife because it can slide off the thin crust pretty easily. The tables for two get a little crowded with all the stuff if you are sharing a pizza.

Gross pizza they literally cook it on a rock and also it tastes all dusty and weird like a old tomatoes n I tried the one that starts with a S the sciciliilan one or whatever its called and there was like no toppings on it and totally wasnt meat lovers n there was too much mushrooms and theyre weirdly mushy never totally cooked the dough is smushy and soft underneath and it rips in a weird way and sometimes it sticks to the cardbord

The place was clean. The food was good. One can choose different combos to eat, that isnt . The pizza was good, as was the soup. The prices are reasonable. The decor is good.

Food is always amazing, and we love sitting on the patio. Service is friendly but very slow. Over 20 minute wait times for our drinks each time and food took almost 45 mins. It was only us and 1 other table.
Nice quiet evening downtown during the week
The food was really good. The waitress never checked in with us and it took well over 20mins to flag her down after our table was cleaned just to get the bill. The restaurant wasnt even busy.
Food is always great. Service was okay... but not the servers fault as she was the only one serving inside, outside, and the bar. Because of the large homeless population in downtown core right now, I would suggest sitting inside for a better experience.

Waited over an hour for 3 pizzas. 15 inch and 2 13 inches, Not fully cooked and we re below warm temperature. Ordered from both locations in Regina. I will never be back cuz how likes cold soggy pizza? 2.5 out of 10.

We ordered two pizzas from this location. I was super excited because i had heard such great reviews AND they actually had a few different pizzas I could eat with my diet restrictions. There was so much potential, but unfortunately I wont be a returning customer. My pizza was completely dry, had very few ingredients, and had NO flavor. Basically a waste of a pizza. This is very disappointing. Ive never had such terrible pizza in my life.
It was really quiet when we went in. Very clean, had great service, and the food was just fantastic. Hadnt been there since when they first opened at the YQR Downtown location, and very glad I gave it a second chance

Ordered trough SkipTheDishes, Famoso Salad. Got spoiled and 100 year old chicken breast Instead of fresh roasted chicken. Did not deliver full order. Very disappointed with Famoso in Regina

Had margarita pizza and as usual it was cooked perfectly. Service was decent. Friends had chicken pesto sandwich and fettuccine Alfredo and enjoyed their meals as well

My family went on a very slow afternoon and had awful service. Took over half an hour to even get our drinks, werent asked how the meal was and never received the other drinks we asked for by the time we had enough waiting and left. The pitcher of sangria gave us 2 drinks for $30! Not worth the price or the wait.

I used to order from here very frequently as it is one of the only places in Regina that offers vegetarian and vegan options with plant-based pepperoni! Also just great pizza in general. Absolutely loved it and the service is always great when I dine in. Only complaint is that you got rid of all of the vegetarian deluxe pizzas!!! I keep checking the menu to see if it comes back but have lost home I no longer order from here sadly. There is now nothing setting this place apart from anything other pizza place for me (as a vegetarian). Please bring back the veggie deluxe!!
So either my wings were microwaved, boiled or they par-bake their wings so that they take less time when cooked - which is fine - but, didn t really cook my wings through the second round so the skin was rubbery with the points where the feathers used to be very visible - I walked all the way back to return them and didn t want a refund because this isn t a situation where I ordered something I didn t like - it was a situation where I ve literally never ordered food and gotten something this bad in return - and I felt that message would be diminished if I tried to get my money back. I will literally eat almost anything, so to make something that was so gross I actually brought it back, that is truly a special feat, because this is actually the only time in my life I have ever brought food back.
Tried there a few weeks ago and last week. They have very rude staff. the smell of our waitress was very unsettling. I understand we all have our own issues but its been both times. The bottom of our pie bread was covetrd with ash.. We paid for it and left it.

Edit and revise my review after 2 years: Before pandemic they were probably one of the best pizza place in town: great taste, great crust, great smell and overall a good-looking tasty pizza! And oh! Their olive dish was the best with small pieces of bread on the side! Unfortunately, it changeed a lot in the past year: doughy crust, not so good tasting pizza and not even smells like before at all! Before I wrote this review, I tried this restaurant at least 6 times in the past year and every single time they disappointed me. They ruined the olive dish also! I am done with Famoso and it is sad!
Food and service was extremely good
Dont go there if you are hungry and on a budget, a 12 inch pie is 17$ and if you were to eat it all you might not be hungry. The pie is under cooked and has very little on it. Run there is better, even Dominos tastes better. Canadian pizza is just the best, dont bother with this.

Our server was very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious (as usual). This is a must stop if you are downtown and want traditional neopolitan pizza. Thank you awesome server, I forgot to ask for your name but you were great!

I heard many good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, I have only bad things to say. Food got to my place cold, overcooked in some dishes and burnt in others. We couldnt eat it and had to throw it all away. The restaurant didnt take responsibility and tried to blame the driver and then referred us back to Uber Eats, but either way refused to reimburse us. Highly disappointed, will not be ordering from them again.
Cockroaches in the dining room and on my napkin and cutlery!! Walked out in disgust.

Great flavours, quality pasta sauce with refined tastes. Tasty gelato and decadent orange cheesecake. My husband said the meatball sub was second to none.

Nice selection of food, and Ive enjoyed my late lunches. The sandwich is delish, and I keep coming back for their iced latté! Our server is always warm and friendly, too!

Food awesome and service was fabulous. The young lady was helpful and funny lots of personality and helped me with gluten free selection. The salted caramel and chocolate gelato was to die for

Great real pizza, awesome deals on drinks most of the time and service is impeccable. Again like most places downtown they make the mistake of not being open Friday and Saturday nights until 2am. This would be a great place to grab a late night pizza downtown - if only!
I usually love this place but the temp cooks on during the pandemic are not up to the task. Pizza not cooked right and plastic still on the prosciutto. I will change this review once full staffing returns.

Good, rustic Roma style pizza. I quite enjoy it as a change up from the usual thick Regina style pizza. Good prices, great location for the downtown crowd. Will go back.
These guys have the best GF vegan pizza. The GF crust is great, and the non-dairy cheese is also awesome. Even though I am not celiac, I order this pizza anyway. Service is also always good.

Our group of 22 hungry and volleyball players descended upon this place after our reservation at a nearby restaurant was messed up. Wanita and her staff busted their butts to accommodate us and we had the best meal of the weekend here. The food and service was amazing and prices very reasonable. Would definitely come back if Im ever in Regina again.

Food is great. We unfortunately had very poor service, customers who arrived long after us had their main dishes before we had our starter. Very slow and very disappointing. Server was unattentive.

Great service. Really appreciated you guys giving my small group the big space. It made the evening fantastic.
Called in an order for pickup. Was told it would be 20-25 mins. Waited 25 minutes and when arrived was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. So went out for a walk around the area, came back and was told it was busy (didn t look like that as there was no line up and free tables could be seen) but our order would be ready shortly. Few minutes later manager came over said all the lasagna was frozen and would be an hour more to get it. I was not happy,was ready to get entire order credited but my wife said just get money back for lasagna and take the rest of the order which I did. This was not a one of issue as the driver for Skip the Dishes got into an argument with waitress because his order was late then stormed off without any food. Only giving one star as the food we got was tasty. Only got a week apology and no free appies for our next visit. So I guess I won t be going back.

Indifferent service combined average pizza makes a high ranking impossible. The serving staff seemed more interested in talking to their friends and wrapping up their day. The second server seemed considerably more engaged. The pizza size was good and the amount of toppings was generous however the crust was slightly burned on the bottom and soggy/doughy on the inside. So the pizza was disappointing. The ambiance was nice with an open comfy vibe. It seems like a nice place to meet for a drink and bite after work but the food is likely going to be average.

Pizza is great however the Caesar had no dressing on it. The service was terrible. Busy weekend with the heritage game and no staff on. 4 in front of house and 3 in the kitchen. Kitchen did well but foh couldnt keep up to greet, make drinks or run food. 100$ with tip for 2 people. 2 drinks 2 pizzas and 2 side salads, not worth it.... Too bad because the pizza is good. You figure the first might (Fri) when you get slammed youd staff up for the next night.

The stove in the corner of the restaurant creates a unique atmosphere for the entire store. The pizza tastes top-notch and the service is attentive and conscientious.

The pizza is authentic, ingredients are fresh and the crust is just to die for! Unique takes on some pizza classics as well as some great new recipes. And the cocktails are really good.
We have ordered a pizza from this place and its the worst pizza i ever had in my life. We just tried for the first time and will never try it again. It looked and taste like a more kind of baked bread rather than a pizza. There was little cheese and toppings was a mess...will never ever reccomend a pizza from this place..instead try a different chain which will worth the price. We ordered margherita and primavera and make sure before ordering it from this place. Pizza was under cooked and veggies as toppings which you ever dont want to see it. Not sure about non vegetarian options but will definitely not recommend for a pizza from this place.
