I love how when I ask what they have for beers on tap, the server always points to the chalkboard nobody can read, and then they dont provide any further information. Then they expect a 20% tip at the end

Unfortunately Ill have to quit going to this restaurant as they really seem to continue to make mistakes. For me alone I know speaking from experience this location can not get an order right. I either pay for gravy or in my case a honey dill dip and you dont recieve it in the order and they still charge you $3 a dip. It aint much but if you were to add the loss two times in one order thats already $6. The fish and chips is hard to screw up but they managed to do it. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich somehow managed to screw that up by adding way to much hot sauce to it. If I didnt know better I would think our meals were sabotaged because I had to phone and complain the last time as well. This making it the second time in a row my meal and a coworkers meal was screwed up. Plus again they cant seem to remember to give the extra dip or gravy but they dont have a problem charging for it. I wonder what they would say if I wanted to pay $6 less on pick up for food. I wish I could think of something to say positive about tonights meals but there is nothing good to say and this is now the second consecutive time this happend. I dont recommend and I stay clear.

Our server was Brother. And the service was immaculate. Were going to Nashville and I wanted to compare the Nashville chicken that Brother delicately displayed to me. The puppies were adorable and the ketchup was on point. Many thanks to Brother for the Lovely and crunchy Nashville chicken that was bestowed upon me.

Pretty expensive for what you get, most of the food was very salty to be honest.

Busy

First time there. I loved Brewsters, and the VT is a poor facsimile of what it once was. I didnt actually stay as I thought the menu was too expensive and nothing appealed to me. Its not really a very fair evaluation. At least I now know its not for me. The high tables and chairs have brought the comfort level down a notch too.

Wicked selection of beers on tap and the food is amazing. Will be recommending this place to everyone I talk to.

Do yourself a favor and order the blackened chicken wrap, wrapped in lettuce, with a side of homemade tomato soup. Sooo good. Thanks again for another amazing lunch :)!

Ordered fish and tater tots, recieved 2 burnt deep fried fish and 8 tater tot for 4.00 extra.. my suggestion is change the oil for deep frying. Probably kept using the same oil for 10 yrs. very dissatisfied with the food

I went there for a work lunch and was really disappointed. The beef quesadilla was really chewy and the beef was not good at all. The kettle chips were burnt and the whole meal was overpriced, won t be returning.

Went for brunch, (2) wasn t the best experience from service standpoint, 1030 am, 1 server working all the tables (looked to be @10 tables with 2 to 4 customers) and a bartender covering a couple more. Server did a good job making contact, apologizing for delay etc, order placed and food came out relatively quickly (kitchen was handling the Sunday brunch crowd orders efficiently) quality was questionable , simple orders of grilled cheese blt, with fries, flavour of sandwich was o. K, fries were soggy and disappointing to taste, other order Grilled cheese BLT was on GF bun, it came out over grilled, still tasted o.k , no fries as a side a rare soft boiled (that was perfectly prepd) , which they felt the need to upcharge for .. consider the cost of fries vs 1 egg , pretty sure there was a cost recovery benefit to the egg side , service was slow because the server over run so maybe throw the egg in as a consideration but not today !! Bottom line, restaurant management is hurting their own business by not seeing the conditions in the restaurant maybe even some more teamwork between the floor service and the bartender might have made a difference. I wouldn t go out of my way to get to this restaurant.

Went for wings on a Monday. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Not too crowded or loud so that was nice. Food was good and service was fast and she was back to table several times for refills.

It was SO loud in this restaurant it was unenjoyable and I wanted to IMMEDIATELY leave. It was SO loud our waitress couldnt even hear us and we had to point to the menu and use hand gestures to order. The morning after, my ears were ringing and my throat was raw from having to yell just to have conversation with my friends. I am 100% sure the decibel level in this place is at unsafe levels. The staff need to get the ministry of health involved for the hearing damage they are receiving from even short-term exposure. I cant even imagine the hearing damage from long-term exposure. This is a restaurant that I will NEVER return to because I would like to keep my hearing.

When spent the day planting flowers with our two grandchild and when it came to supper all were tired lol . We ve had your food before and always good but I had the clubhouse and it is by far the best in town if not anywhere I ve travelled. Onion wings were great .we had it delivered and it was piping hot on arrival. Keep up the great work guys and girls 10/10

I ordered from them on Skip recently and had mentioned they previously forgot my chipotle mayo a couple times, but that I had ordered when they were super busy both times and enjoyed the food I got anyways! Then I said If you guys remember it this time that would be awesome! Thank you! So they then proceeded to give me enough chipotle mayo to swim in and an awesome apology note. Give these guys your business, even if you can only do it once in a while. Its absolutely worth it!

Our experiences with Vics started off well enough, but over the last year, 75% of the times weve ordered delivery at least one item is missing, if not more. Usually the sides are missing, other times entire meals. Sometimes well be told we can pick the items up ourselves because they forgot to give it to the driver (which makes the convenience of delivery no longer convenient, on top of the extra fees paid associated with having ordered delivery to begin with), or, its just missing so thats that with no solution offered. Other times we havent even bothered mentioning it. More attention needs to be paid in this area if delivery is to be offered. The burgers and fried foods are good, the salads/bowls are usually pretty good, but the grilled chicken in them is pretty acrid and dry at times.

I always order taco salad from here. Ordered taco salad for delivery and was getting ready to eat. Took a scoop of the sour cream and got a hair from the sour cream. Not happy.

The first time I went to this restaurant, it was amazing. Second time wasnt the best... However, the 3rd visit will for sure be my last. I had to send back my order of mozza sticks, twice. As they were soggy grease lumps that didnt even visually resemble a mozza stick. For my meal, the sandwhich was brought to our table in a puddle of liquid. Rendering it a soggy mess that I did attempt to eat. Unfortunately after 2 bites I couldnt justify paying for something so unpleasant tasting. It did come with aus juice but there was no point when the sandwhich came pre- sogged. My dates meal was just as unsatisfactory/ kitchen didnt follow instructions. We were only offered 50% off of our meals that were barely touched/ sent back and they voided the mozza sticks. Not impressed. Drinks and waitress was fantastic but thats not enough to keep us coming back as clients.

The dill burger has absolutely changed my life. I didn t take a picture of it for this review because I ate it so fast.

I have yet to have a bad meal here. Great food that is always consistently amazing. Probably order or eat here 4 times a month. Taco salad is the best in the city! Kid-friendliness: Not recommend for kids. They likely can find food they can eat here, but its more geared to adults.

My waitress Lucy, I think she said her name was, did an utterly phenomenal job at serving! Food came out tasting damn good and warm, so I didnt feel delay, and she was busy as heck with 5 to 8 tables outside on a hot day. Lucy also had exceptional reviews on different drinks to choose from when I so asked what it tastes like and if she prefers 1 over the other. Thank you for a great experience, Vics in the North, aswell thank you to the waitress I mentioned above, who made it a great experience a few days ago. Parking: Tons of parking close no issues. Kid-friendliness: I say no go for that. This is a bar in my opinion not a feed your kid under 16. Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheel chair parking and ramp accessibility.

Friday night wasn t too busy. Lots of parking. Our server was really friendly and lovely to chat with. It s really nice in here, has a nice chill vibe. We played some VLGs which was a fun time. The mozzarella sticks here are a solid 10/10 would recommend and I normally stay away from fried foods. Lots of TVs to watch the game with friends and a really nice bar. A more fancy version of a Leo s.

Went for supper and a couple of drinks. Had a good time and ordered our food. I ordered a chicken sandwich. As soon as it got to the table I had a couple of fries and decided to take a bite of the main part of the meal. Instantly scolded my tongue. Messed my tongue up badly. I told the waitress what happened and all she said was blow on it how ignorant of that waitress. I will always tell people to not go here now. Update: my tongue now has a blister from the burn. I will be taking my doctors report and taking it to a law office.

I have been to this location 5 times and have had a good meal once (a bowl). The other times were all disappointing for me and my companions. I was there on Thursday with a friend and we both ordered wraps. Both of our wraps were not good. Her blackened chicken was not that, it was deep fried crispy chicken with mostly the coating covered in what seemed to be a spicy sauce, with sage wilted lettuce. My wrap was supposed to be a California wrap and was the same sad situation as hers. Our fries were good. We thought there may have been a mix up with our wraps so we asked the waitress, but she said they were the right ones we ordered. With so many options I don t think I will be back. My other sad meals were the Ruben, a burger and another wrap.

I have been a huge supporter and fan of this tavern since they opened in Normanview - we usually go 4X a month. Recently things have changed - stopped weekday happy hours, changed menu (removed things like onion rings, reuben sandwich etc) , changed ingredients in a few items (lower quality) - almost impossible to get a fresh pint of Pile of Bones White IPA... and they ant to argue that it is fresh. As they say If it aint broke dont fix it .. I am afeared that this will end up being another restaurant that cant stay open more than a few years. Hope you guys go back to the way it was. We decided on the Tap last night - good fodd and fresh PoB White IPA

Its a Dive Bar youll love it

This is a great neighbourhood pub with cold beer and a jukebox.

It doesnt necessarily hold the same charm as the downtown location and the food menu is different, but this type of change is good. It adds variety. I tend to go here when I want to get out of my neighbourhood but still be around a diverse group of people my age.

I wouldnt hesitate to return to Victorias Tavern for its outstanding menu and overall enjoyable atmosphere its a place worth revisiting without a doubt.

This place was our go to for half priced apps on Wednesday. Food and service were good. However, recently, things have changed; apps are 30%, and the menu changed. Ordered the Vics Royale burger during the last visit. Burger was tasty and cooked perfectly, just little to no sauce paper thin pickles and overall a little dry. Plus, no more onion rings too boot. Service was great.
