We serve Japanese and Korean cuisine
Very fresh and delicious! They have an extensive menu with an American cuisine section for non-sushi lovers, but that would be the main reason to go here! Very generous portions and good value for the portion size.
First time trying Arigato-2! The portion is huge even though it is on the pricey end. However, the food was delicious and the service was great! Will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu.
Ordered a sushi roll tray for 2 and were very pleased by the presentation as well as the variety of rolls provided. Easy 10/10. We also ordered a bottle of sake, and because it was the anniversary month of the restaurant’s opening we received 40% off the bottle price. Service was very accommodating and friendly. Checked on our table a couple times to see how we were enjoying everything and were well responsive to any questions. The atmosphere was a very nice change up to what we are used to. The authentic style decor and intimate seating arrangements give the place a very comfortable feeling, plus the feeling that you have been transported somewhere else.
Arigato-2, a Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant, truly lives up to its name, which means “Thank You” in Japanese. However, the menu offers a delightful blend of both Japanese and Korean dishes. This was my second visit to Arigato-2, and the lively atmosphere combined with the friendly and attentive staff made it a pleasant dining experience once again. On my first visit with family, we decided to go for sashimi, but I was slightly disappointed as the pieces were cut a bit too thick for my liking. This time, however, I visited with friends and chose to explore the Korean side of the menu. I tried dishes like kimchi soup, offal soup, and shrimp tempura, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they matched my taste. The flavors were spot on, with a perfect balance of spices and textures that made each dish enjoyable. The shrimp tempura was crispy and light, the kimchi soup had just the right amount of tangy heat, and the offal soup was hearty and comforting. These dishes showcased the restaurant’s ability to deliver authentic Korean flavors that left me satisfied. My only hope for improvement is that they adjust the thickness of their sashimi slices. A slightly thinner cut would enhance the texture and elevate the experience for sashimi lovers. Overall, Arigato-2 offers a vibrant and enjoyable dining experience, with a menu that caters to both Japanese and Korean cuisine enthusiasts. It’s a place I’d recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a mix of these two culinary world.
We been looking for a nice sushi place for a while and it didn’t disappoint. Very nice ambiance, polite staff and great food. Tons of varieties to choose from. quite little place for a date night. Will definitely return soon .
First time to dine in all i can say is Awesome service ambience is japan like restaurant. Shrimp tempura is the real deal. Taste very authentic.
Our visit to Regina’s Arigato 2 was an outstanding sushi experience from start to finish. Each dish we ordered was truly exceptional, showcasing impeccable presentation and high-quality ingredients. The sashimi was remarkably fresh, with flavors that were both delicate and rich, perfectly balancing traditional and innovative tastes. The meticulous attention to detail in every bite made the meal unforgettable. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. For sushi lovers, this restaurant is a must-visit. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience. I would like to update my review because we went there to celebrate a birthday, and the Arigato staff made it a very special experience.
Went there with family tonight, hoping for an elevated sushi experience. We were not disappointed as everything we ordered was top notch. Presentation, quality ingredients, and fresh sashimi. Highly recommend, well worth the slightly higher fare. Will be back very soon!
The price is 100% worth it for the portions you get. The food was not only aesthetic but also super delicious! Place makes you feel like youre in Japan. Recommend the Arigato special sushi. For main dishes we got Beef Terriyaki and Spicy Dak-Kalbi (chicken) all comes with miso and rice. Food
Always good food and service. Never disappoints!
Parking: Món n Nh t, sushi, r u Sake Food
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There are steps leading up to the entrance and there is no ramp. Food
Very cozy sushi bar! Not much space within, but the tables are sectioned well to still give you privacy. Portions are surprisingly large. I would recommend one plate per person and you ll leave satisfied. The menu is massive, but we ve tried quite a few things off of it by now! The sushi is very well prepared, the curry has all the right warmth and flavor, and the box meals have such good variety
Literally amazing food, amazing staff amazing everything
The food was delicious and the service is a bit dry but they where so kind and sweet!! I love them, they have my heart!!
This is one of those dont judge a book by its cover situations. Outside looks dismal, however, you get transported into a lovely interior full of wood, secioned off tables and japanese vibes. Ordered the beef mandu, chicken karaage and a few rolls. The appetizers were amazing, while the rolls were large, fresh, and filling. 4.5/5 on the appies, 3/5 for one of the basic maki roll, but the other 2 were easy 4/5. Cost about 30$ per person with no drinks.
Found my go-to sushi place in Regina
Parking: Best taste , good quality. Food
The pace has lively vibes but unfortunately almost no vegetarian options on the menu. Vegetarian options: It is not a restaurant for vegetarians. We had to leave. There are no vegetarian options on the menu except for a few rolls. All bases for sauces and soup stocks contain animal products.
This restaurant was really good, one of the best in Regina. The food was fresh and the staff was really nice. Ill definitely go back there.
Great food. Gluten free menu is definitely limited but lots they could add that would be GF.
Excellent
Deep fried ice cream is amazing. Sushi was delicious. Definitely recommend this place.
Good food. Good portions
Today, my friend invited me to this restaurant, which is the first Japanese food I have eaten in Regina, and it was great. My friend invited me to this restaurant for dinner today. This is the first Japanese restaurant I have eaten in Regina, and it feels good.
Food was authentic Korean food. Jjampong and soondubu were very good. I would like to go with my kids next time.
I will recommend it. We order the beef lunch box and salmon lunch box.
The best sushi restaurant in Regina. Enjoyed the sushi quality on numerous occasions and was served a sample of delicious and complimentary torched salmon during dinner one night. Appetizers and korean dishes are on the pricier side but the quality is good. The serving sizes for the sushi platters was quite consistent but found the salmon nigiri was sometimes cut thinner than other times. Tempura ice-cream was a generous serving size and delicious. Korean rice cake was delicious but feels like it should come with noodles or rice.
Food was really good. They dont take reservations for couples on weekends so we showed up at 5:30 on a Friday. Still had to sit at the bar, which was fine but we were between the tip jar and the POS and still seemed to be forgotten. Ordered all our food and drinks at once and never got asked about refills (or offered side plates, had to ask and it seemed to annoy the server). Im not going back.
Tried this place for the first and last time. It is not okey when the waitress starts brooming next to the table where people are sitting and having a meal. Then puts the broom aside serves the food when needed without washing her hands. And this goes on back and forth. This is very disrespectful! There are some ethics that restaurant owners need to know.
Easily some of the best sushi Ive ever eaten. Prices are super fair and service was great. Would highly recommend the campfire roll and the spicy agedashi.
I was a little bit put off by the price, especially for Regina Sushi, but in the end it was absolutely justified. Not only is the sushi on par with some of the best restaurants in the city, the plating and service was out of this world. Huge portions, along with a great variety in menu and plating. Each dish was well thought out and executed, with classy embellishments, helping to further justify the price. I ordered half as much from this restaurant as I would from a standard all you can eat, and I left just as full. The servers were attentive, kind, and timely. The menu was extensive, authentic, yet familiar. Though, the menu was a little big and looked cheap in a binder, but this is MINOR. The atmosphere was extremely clean and stylish. Super cute spot for a date, or employer paid lunch
Food was fantastic. Menu is huge. Not alot of seating so made reservation. Parking lot is small out front. Staff super friendly, but were very busy. Recommend for sure
We came here at 9:43 and they claim close at 10 pm but my friend was yelling at the door saying it s 9:43 you re still open we re are hungry for arigato 2 sushi. For reference this is the cutie you denied service.
The best sushi bar in Regina!!!
Was in Regina on business and was looking for a nice relaxing meal. Went off Google recommendations and it did not disappoint! Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food was good and prepared fairly quickly. Left feeling full and relaxed, perfect dinner after a day of meetings.
I have eaten at this establishment a few times and it never fails to satisfy every craving. Did is delicious, staff is friendly, sushi is fresh and big portions.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was so friendly, the chef offered my son a chocolate pastry snack to take to go, he was so happy. We will definitely come back. July-24: Came back today after being away for some time. Food and service were great as usual. Wish the torched salmon nigiri could be added to the menu to order. We would have loved to have some today as well.
Went back to try more on its menu and it did not disappoint Seafood noodles is HOT!!! But hubby finished it, Got the beef bento and of course our go to agadeshi tofu and takoyaki ... and yes... we are definitely coming back!!! Regina peeps please try this place... come on!!! Food
Great service, awesome presentation, and generous servings! It s a nice place to have an elevated sushi experience.
I had the chicken katsu curry and omg it was to die for. The flavor was so strong and the chicken so crunchy and flavorful will be coming back for just the katsu curry again xD. My husband had the Tteok-bokki and it was tasty according to him a nice deal of heat and the Maki we ate was tasty too. Parking: We came on a Friday night and the little lot in front was basically packed and it was quite annoying to have cabs parked there when they werent picking up anybody.
Incredible dishes, I have never seen such a beautiful sushi arrangement!
Pretty good place. 40$ per person enough for ordering eat and drinks.
The best !! will definitely keep coming back !!
Definitely the best place to eat sushi and more in Regina!! Food quality is amazing and prices relevant, but the service is unforgettable. Regina definitely needed such an amazing place for a very long time!!!!
Just..delicious! Great taste! You should taste the sushi rolls!!
I thoroughly recommend coming here. The food is incredibly delicious. I tried the beef bulgogi mandu, sushi and tempura ice cream. The food was incredibly well presented and portions were generous. The interior of the restaurant is great, with clear Japanese and Korean influence. You can either eat at booths or the bar. Im already looking forward to my next visit.
Tried it for the first time with some and friends and loved it. Its a small restaurant with real japanese feels. They have a variety of Korean and Japanese options and everything we had were surprisingly good. Will be back for sure!
As others had said, its pricey but you do get your moneys worth. The atmosphere is very nice and all the staff are super sweet. Would definitely recommend
Huge menu, great food and crazy fast service! Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. Some of the best Japanese and Korean food I ve had in Regina.
Must try!!! I love the food, the environment, and the staff. Everything is always so great. Their sashimi is fresh and thick, especially for the price they charge! Im impressed. I hate when restaurants try to keep things cheap and make thin slices that you can literally see through the sashimi slice lol. TO ME, THIS IS THE ONLY RESTAURANT IN REGINA THAT ACTUALLY SERVE SUSHI. (I wish they have more sushi options, and less deep fried rolls and stuff)
Newly crowned #1 sushi in this city. The portions are huge with fresh ingredients. You can get a special roll tray for $80 for 5 people, and it could actually feed five people. Extra special rolls that are well crafted and tasty. The tables are a bit cramped however, so if youre going with a group maybe try to split tables.
Hands down, the best Sushi Ive had in this province in a long time. 10/10. >:)
This is the best Korean restaurant in Regina and even can be one of the top performers in Canada in my opinion! I ordered the seafood Jjamppong, a type of egg noodle dish. The taste is incredibly authentic, just like the food I had in Seoul. The staff are friendly, and the chef even gave me a complimentary plate of sushi, which was also delicious. I highly recommend that anyone living in Regina give this place a try.
We tried Aragato for the first time as a special dinner for a birthday. We ordered take out and the presentation was absolutely stunning. The thoughtful details and careful attention was obvious. They even put a beautiful rose in the middle. The rolls were humungous, fresh and beyond delicious. We had leftovers the next day, and the rice was still moist. A bit more pricy than our last sushi place, but definitely worth every penny. Will make this our new go-to spot!
Food was average. Decent amount of vegan options Vegetarian options: Decent amount of vegan options Food : 3/5 |
Fast. Plentiful. Delicious. Two thumbs up
Amazing restaurant, I got beef lunch box (attached pic). Food is so good, freshly made, I would definitely come back
It was our first time eating here and the food was excellent and so was the presentation.
Great service, very clean and delicious food. Some maki rolls are just a little too big.
wonderful presentation =)
Wonderful presentation and Amazing service food was to die for 10/10 for sure!
Great place for Regina and sushi. The portions are very large (if Ur getting a big roll its for more than 1 person). Fun atmosphere and the largest selection of sushi and Korean meals. The menu had to be around 15+ pages.
This was my first visit and I have to say it was spectacular! The sushi was authentic, delicious and our platter was well presented. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also soothing.
My friend and I arrived around 8 pm on Friday, and the restaurant was busy. Fortunately, we secured a table right away after a couple left. Our orders were swiftly taken, and within minutes, our dishes arrived. My friend opted for the Korean bibimbap while I chose the beef yaki-udon and takoyaki. The food, as always, was delicious, flavourful, and impeccably presented. Despite not indulging in sushi that evening, I must attest that Arigato Yorkton remains my go-to for the finest sushi, and their branch here in Regina certainly lives up to that standard. The ambiance was fantastic, with a tidy and inviting atmosphere, complemented by friendly and accommodating servers. Overall, the service was exceptional, and I highly recommend it.
Awesome staff and the best quality of food in Regina. Never disappointed. Fresh ingredients and a wide variety of delicious menu items.
Went to this place on a Friday for dinner. The food was amazing and there was plenty of selection. The presentation was beautiful and the portions justified the price. We had a vegetarian in our group who found enough to eat. I had the salmon box with the Philadelphia roll, which was huge. It would be great to have a vegetarian box and allow for separate bills on the weekend. Very minor wishes, but an overall great experience. I will definitely be back and would recommend checking this place out.
Awful hostess! Accusing us of making a reservation and not showing up so they wont take our reservation again when it was my first time making a reservation???? decent food but not worth the hassle lol
Third time coming to this restaurant and progressively getting worse each time so finally had to do a review. We made a reservation for 3 people but our friend couldn t make it because she was tired after work and the front desk lady said she would no longer take future reservations from us because we made a reservation for 3 and only 2 people showed up lol and she said this wasnt the first time we ve done this when it was my first time making a reservation (???) to top that of I got food poisoning from them. Restaurant lost customers today. Never coming back!!!
Horrible hostess. Used to love coming here but had the worse experience last night.
Its nice to have a new Japanese/Korean restaurant in town. Overall, the food was delicious. We stuck to sushi because we crave decent sushi, which Regina doesnt have. We started with the gyoza, which appeared handmade, and were delicious, potatoe croquettes, and the tempura calimari. We had the negitoro, dynamite, and sunset rolls. The negitoro and dynamite rolls were on the sloppy side. The dynamite roll had a lot of vegetables in it and was cut very thin. When you picked it up, everything fell out. Well definitely visit or order again, but choose our rolls carefully.
Amazing customer service and the food is amazing, its so good!!
Don t come here! If I can rate this restaurant with 0 stars, I would. They treat customers horribly. Read the way they respond to bad reviews, very unprofessional and rude.
Service was such an area of concern, a restaurant can really have a decent food & presentation but be ruined with a disappointing staff who makes you feel rushed to eat just because they have to sit people, i understand that there is a wait but we just got there an hour ago and food arrived a few minutes ago ( some time was needed to think of what to order as well) and instead of being able to enjoy our food we felt rushed
the serving staff was okay, food was okay but the lady at the front was horrible! she wasnt friendly at all and had quite the attitude . Also reading these reviews here and seeing how they respond to customers is very telling of the character of their staff & restaurant! I wouldnt dine in again but maybe a take out will do
This place is the best Japanese restaurant in Regina, very recommended. The food and service is 10 out of 10. Host Tristina is friendly. We definitely come back for tasting another dishes
The food was so good!! 10/10 absolutely come back for the food! we have been here for more than four times! Food
pretty pricey, but food and service were so good !!! id love to go back ASAP Parking: location is on dewdney avenue, so better get there early!
This was the best sushi place I have ever been to. It was so clean and beautiful on the inside. The food was delicious and also very pretty. The service was great and friendly. Would 100% come back
Exceptional quality and great portions for the price. Fresh, full of flavour and excellent service. The staff were accommodating and able to answer all questions. Huge selection thats almost overwhelming but there is something on the menu for everyone. Warm atmosphere and clean. Will be back.
Finally a decent sushi spot in Regina! The sushi is relatively fresh (for not being near water). The portions are huge. Not the best sushi I ve ever had, but it s good value, and good service! This is our new go to spot.
We loved the food and the service. Ill see you soon.
Wanted sushi and this place was recommended, it did not disappoint! The food was so good, the atmosphere was spot on. 10/10 recommend
My goto place for Japanese food in the city. Portion sizes for sashimi are large and great tasting.
Best Sushi in Regina by miles
My first experience in Arigato -2 is awesome. Good food, the serving big.
Fantastic Food !!
Had lunch, and all took food home! Great meal, amazing portions!
Delicious sushi and bbq mango teriyaki nigiri. You get so much food for the price. Left with a full, satisfied stomach. Very clean, cozy atmosphere! Best sushi restaurant in Regina. We usually drive out to Mitsu in Moose Jaw just for sushi but will come to Arigato as well!
Delicious sushi! Best in Regina. So tasty and fresh.
Me and my friends drove for 3 hours to this place for the dinner. They were experiencing a busy time but fortunately there s seats available. We sit down on 7:44 but we didn t have anybody for service, not even a glass of water. In the waiting time several waiters just walked through us and nobody come to ask if we need order. After half an hour I can t wait anymore so I had to walked out to ask for service. We were totally forgot by them. If you are a fans of enduring hunger and thirst welcome to this place.
I drove 3 hours to get here. Although the restaurant was crowded, we managed to get a table, but once we were seated, we waited for service for 30 minutes without even having a glass of water. It wasnt until my friend went to the front desk and asked for help that someone came to take his order. Even after ordering again, I waited 10 minutes to receive my water and drinks. I fully understand that its a busy time, but thats no excuse for being forgotten for 30 minutes.
I had a wonderful experience at Arigato-2, a cozy Japanese restaurant in Regina. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and fresh. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. We also enjoyed the complimentary ice cream and miso soup. The restaurant was clean. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying and affordable Japanese meal.
- Amazing plating, ambiance and generous portions. - We wished the rolls were smaller - The menu is too large - We felt like they could reduce the number of maki options. - Definately keep the curry, ramen, udon, nigiri and sashimi - They sell a good variety of western options (fries, chicken, ribs), which seemed strange and just bloated the menu more. - Hands down the best option in regina if youre a sashimi/nigiri lover. They have the best variety and I hope that doesnt change if the menu changes.
Great quality for Regina. Definitely would come back. Only complaint is to much rice. Felt bad having to leave the rice and just eat the fish on a couple of my nigiri. Update as of Jan 2024: Been here a few times now and always consistent and good service. But, did notice another section of western food added to the menu. Honestly, dont think this is necessary the menu is already so extensive and can be overwhelming for new customers. It just seems unnecessary. Just do Korean and Japanese food well and people will come. Dont need to add other stuff just to attract a few more people.
Revisited since Arigato-2 opened. Very good local Korean/Japanese food. Employees are friendly and welcoming. Dishes are tasty with above average volume. Chef invited me to try the torched salmon nigiri (I believe), and it was soooo good. The seafood sashimi bap is worth trying, I m surprised that it had hotate and ika in it while other restaurants won t provide.
Very cool restaurant, the sushi chefs and waiting staff were very nice and attentive for us. We didnt have a reservation(friday evening) so we sat at the sushi bar and they went out of their way to give us a free nigiri sampler for the inconvenience. This place is gaining popularity so make sure to get a reservation for your meal! The food was amazing. I eat big portions and couldnt finish it. The presentation was the best part, a definite treat for the eyes before we dug into the food!
Arigato-2 is one of the coolest restaurants we ve been to in Regina. The atmosphere is incredibly unique you won t find another restaurant like it. It feels like you get private seating at every table with the stunning wood dividers. We were seated immediately and service was excellent. Each waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing, and so polite! Our food came out really fast and each bite was tasty and delicious, absolutely nothing to complain about. They have a great variety of food including western options. Family friendly for sure. We were thoroughly impressed and I can t wait to come back to try the Tako Yaki!
What an absolutely AMAZING restaurant. I do not do review often, or really at all but felt the need to for this place. Best Sushi I have ever had. Portions are huge (we had to take a to go box for another supper portion). Cant say enough great things about this restaurant. Rave, rave, rave.
Amazing!
BEST SUSHI IN REGINA!!! The sashimi portions were huge, def worth the cost. Everything was fresh, the orders came fast and the staff is extremely nice. On top of that the atmosphere is really unique. Highly highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: I have a shellfish allergy and they were very accommodating.
Can t relate to the 1 star reviews we read - we are really happy we tried this place out! We love trying new food and cozy winter didnt disappoint at all. We were served quickly and our food came out at a reasonable time. There were about 2 other tables here with us. Now that we have been once, we know a little better which ingredients we like better than others but just due to preference! The fried buns for dessert are a MUST TRY!
Tried to come here twice within hours posted and the door was locked, no reasons stated.
We came during hours and the door is locked for no reasons. Would have been nice to put something online or on the door.
Great service. Tasty sushi! Very happy with our experience here.
My wife noticed the restaurant had been rebranded so we decided to check it out. The inside is nicely decorated and gives off good vibes, it felt like we were transported to Japan! We were quite impressed compared to other sushi places within the city that just gives off that dirty and gross feel. Our food tasted incredible, the service was excellent, and the portion sizes were insane. Definitely worth your money for the amount of food they serve. Not to mention the size of the sushi rolls. We were not let down and finally felt like Regina had a good sushi restaurant! Overall a great experience and taste. The menu could be quite overwhelming with many choices but the staff is helpful if you need recommendations. 10/10 would eat here several more times!
They have a good variety of food! Considering it is somewhat a korean restaurant, i was wondering if they have a kimbap since they have a good selection of sushi. But, unfortunately its not on their menu. Just after our food arrived (IT WAS VERY GOOD btw) the chef came out with the kimbap. He made on the spot! Best customer service ever!!! The guy who served us is also very accomodating and nice. Will definitely come back again
New Regina location. Food selection is huge (literally a binder). Food was delicious and creative. Quite enjoyed it. Will go back to try some of the Korean items next time.
We were welcome by Kristina. Both Frank and Kristina have done a very good job. Well manner service. They know their job very well. Compliments to the chefs. Food is AMAZING. Will definitely come back. Love everything about this restaurant.
Amazing food and service. Went to check out the new sushi restaurant and it was a great experience. The servers are all extremely welcoming and friendly all with huge smiles. The menu is extensive and so many options, both Japanese and Korean cuisines. The pictures in the menu are misleading in a good way, the portion sizes are massive. 100% worth what you pay. The service was speedy, our plates flew out of the kitchen. The chef came and greeted our table and brought out a sashimi platter for us on the house! a $30 item on the menu. Go to this place!!
The food is abundant and delicious. Worth recommending.
We noticed on Instagram that cozy winter had been rebranded to Arigato 2. So we wanted to try it out. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes were huge, we ended up taking so much food home. There were many different options for food. We tried a katsu curry, a beef box, and salmon maki. The price was good, compared to what other places in the city costs. They also offered free ice cream at the end of our meal. Highly recommend checking this place out for Japanese and Korean food. The interior was also very nice, service was amazing! Will come again!
The place was full of surprises. First of all, I really do like the design of shop. The interior design with wood would make you feel warm and cozy. The plating of the food was nice, you could tell the chef actually put thoughts into it. The quality of the food was very good. The sashimi were thick cut, and really fresh. If you like quality Japanese food, this is the place to come. With that being said, the price does reflect that. However, I would say the quality of the food was a lot better than all you can eat style sushi!
Sad that it isn t even wheelchair friendly. Can t even access this restaurant because of the stairs out front. The ramp towards the Escape Room is blocked off to the restaurant itself so potential disabled customers can t even visit this establishment.
Very impressed! I typically have tempered expectations when eating sushi in Regina so I was pleasantly surprised with my overall experience at Arigato 2. The food was flavorful and ingredients were high quality. We focused on the Japanese cuisine but the menu has a ton of variety. The care and effort put into the presentation was top notch. Prices were on the higher side but it s justified with the pleasant atmosphere and tasty food. Would highly recommend and definitely will be coming back!
I was there last weekend, and we were excited to visit this place, but it did not satisfy us as much as we expected. It was pretty overpriced, and the rolls were just similar to other sushi places but way more expensive than other places.
Great place. Highly recommended. Sushi taste so good Food
Very good.
Amazing experience. Great service. Delicious food and great portion. I will come back soon.
Best new Japanese/Korean restaurant in Regina! The vibe and interior design is really interesting and Japanese-inspired. The menu is quite large and can be overwhelming with the layout and amount of choices, but everything looks so good. The presentation of our sushi was beautiful. My teriyaki chicken was very tasty, and not drowned in sauce. A little on the more expensive side, but in my opinion, worth the money!
Food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice and unique for Regina. My only complaint is that the menu was very poorly designed and difficult to navigate. (I m talking a 20 page binder with some pages only having 1-2 items, and many items appearing on multiple pages )
We started with the bulgogi dumplings and spring rolls and continued with the Crazy Girl Roll, Beef Yakisoba, and Seafood Udon. Bulgogi Dumplings - amazing! 10/10 Spring Rolls - also great. 8/10 Plum sauce was bomb Crazy Girl Roll - 7/10 for taste and 10/10 presentation Beef Yakisoba - 6/10 My wife wasnt the greatest fan of it. The sauce was not enjoyable for her. Seafood Udon - 8.5/10 Fkn yum Overall experience was good, the atmosphere is unlike anything else youll find in Regina, and the staff is so friendly. Will be coming back here.
Food was really good ... service sucked the waitress was really rude. If you want to try something new I would reccomend it . But be prepared to wait forever for ur drinks food ... the service is horrible
Great food, very good and fast service. Price was on par and quality of the food was great. The atmosphere was awesome and I like the layout with all the separated tables.
Easily the best sushi place in Regina now, AMAZING!
Best sushi in Regina.
Food was delicious and the portion sizes were massive (rolls and sashimi pieces were about 4x the size compared to other places). They have an extensive menu with so many choices for Korean and Japanese cuisine. By far, the best sushi in the city. Would definitely recommend and will be going back in the future!
Went there for lunch got seated... waited 45 mins just to get drinks and waited another hour to get orders put in. Waitress was horrible. Never going back waste of money.
Server was a little condescending when we were asking questions but the food was delicious, very fast and enjoyable atmosphere. Great portion size. We intend to return for sure.
My spouse and I frequented Arigato in Yorkton when we went through town, so when they opened a location in Regina, we were so excited to try it out. The interior looks amazing and we were sat immediately by friendly staff. Unfortunately, service was extremely lacking on our visit. Our appetizer Takoyaki sat in front of us for at least 10 minutes where we had to ask for cutlery 4 times while our mains started to come out, too. In that timeframe we watched our server prioritize clearing and seating two other tables right by us and had even given new cutlery to a table that they just seated while I watched my food get cold. When we finally did get our cutlery, we were given one napkin to share between the four of us. Our waters and tea came a few minutes later, but we were still missing one water and we werent able to get our missing water until we were almost done our meals. When it came to pay, we asked for separate bills, but the server split the entire bill in half instead of by what we ate. The food was good, but the lack of service would keep me from visiting again.
I recommend this place! They offer many different dishes on their menu. Its nice to have a restaurant in Regina that does Japanese and Korean food differently than the other places here. The food was delicious! They make very good fried food like tempura and katsu. Crispy and not oily! The only thing I didnt like was the tempura ice cream. The batter they used was way too thick. The food is a little pricey but the portions are big. Service needs a little more improvement. They had never checked on our table and we had to wave them down if we needed anything. It was hard to get their attention, like they were avoiding eye contact with the customers.
Taste is very authentic. We really like the ambiance of the place. Food and the portions is phenomenal! Highly recommend this place.
Finally, a place in Reginathat serves quality Japanese and Korean food. Authentic and well presented. Love the vibe and the quality. Will definitely recommend to asian food lovers.
Excellent overall! Service and ambience was great. Will make this my go-to for sushi in the city.
I have to say the best sushi in Regina . Food is amazing, good taste, good presentation. I enjoy my food, and feel all fresh ingredients. About price, someone think it is high, but for me, it is depends on you. They use high quality of food, and foods is really good so it has to be like that. Service is okay, but they should hire more staffs to make sure all customers get good services, and worth for high price.
Best Sushi in Regina by far. Atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful. The presentation and freshness of the sushi was very impressive. Yummy yummy roll lives up yo its name
This was some of the best sushi Ive ever had extremely fast and the waiters where nice and pleasant
Unbelievable experience and family meal out. Food, service, atmosphere and dessert was amazing.
We really enjoyed our experience! The chicken katsu was amazing! The only thing that disappointed me a little was that the sushi rolls came cold, and I like when rice is fresh and warm. Food : 4/5
Edit: my review was for the last restaurant here, but Arigato 2 is much nicer
The best Asian cuisine in Regina!! Fresh ingredients and great service! Food
I m surprised that the food coming very fast, plus each table have there own personal space !
The atmosphere and service was great ! We were given a complimentary item to try which was very kind, and the freshness of all the food we had was very noticeable. Will be coming back for sure. Dietary restrictions: They answered dietary concerns quickly and the menu is great at listing ingredients used inside dishes.
This place is amazing! The food 10/10 restaurant is clean! And the sushi is to die for!
Best sushi in Regina by far. Excellent service, clean establishment, amazing presentation on all dishes. Will be telling everyone I know to go!!
This restaurant deserves a spot on the foodie map. Nice, clean place. Very helpful staff. The food - oh my goodness - rich flavourful broth choices (and their spicy broth deserves to be celebrated) and fresh ingredients. Will keep coming back to this place!
Food was good, broth/soup was not included in the all you can eat price so a 29 dollar lunch was actually 42 dollars (with no drink). I have never been in a dirtier restaurant. There was food all over the walls and floors, the bar was an absolute mess, and the bathroom was disgusting.
I wanted so badly to enjoy this place more then I did. The food was good but for the price, I was expecting more. The bone broth was not very flavorful, and the spicy broth just had an overwhelming amount of chilis. The sauce counter was disgusting and almost every container was half or almost completely empty. The bathroom was also very dirty, as was the whole floor of the restaraunt and we came in right after open. The walls had splashed food on them and the menu was dirty as it was not laminated. This was a disappointing experience.
So fantastic The pot is so great service environment and food both are excellent And from the next week there is lunch special 19.99 I will be come back
Absolutely loved this place! , would highly recommend. I would say the price is fair , $30 for all you can eat plus an average of about $5 per broth , very flavorful broths, (spicy , tomato and mushroom) , I would say the bone broth is just for cooking so dont expect a flavor from that one, if youve never experienced hot pot before then this is as traditional as it gets, great foods and great service !
Jan 29, 2022 - The floors were filthy, there was a dirty table (no other customers, no one was cleaning it up, we went at 11 so like doubtful that someone just finished eating potentially from night before!) The sauce bar was sticky and filthy I watched the server spray a paper towel and try to spot wipe this thing she just pulled out of the fridge, all the sauce spoons were sticky and the sauces were left overs from at least the day before and when the server walked in from the front front door, just took her jacket off behind the bar and starting working without washing her hands!! The ice was kept in a cooler she emptied (melted ice from night before no doubt), pop was flat and not chilled, the water must have been luke warm because by the time it arrived at the table the ice had melted I ve been in this industry long enough to know that there s not a chance in hell this place would pass a health inspection. We ended up leaving, couldn t stomach the lack of hygiene Very horrifying.
Delicious food and great staff! We had never had hot pot before and the staff was very accommodating and polite when explaining everything to us. Absolutely wonderful food. Highly recommend their mushroom broth!
on first arrival i was impressed by how big of a seating area one gets and you dont feel like your super close to other customer while your eating. the sauce bar lids of the containers did look dirt but the ingredients inside were stocked great. the lids get dirty mostly from customers stacking the lids on top of eachother. i personally would like my server to be helping me get more food for the all you can eat buffet instead of cleaning that bar every 5 minute. overall my service was great. and i was really impressed with the soup broths
Great experience there Matthew was extremely nice and helpful. The food was so good and all the broths were amazing. This place is a must have. 10/10 would go back. Thank you for the amazing experience we will definitely go back.
Best hot pot in the city. Very flavorful broth.
This came up lacking in many different areas. First and foremost presentation was truly under budget. They had a blue lunch cooler on the top of the bar that our ice came from. This means that this place did not spend adequately to open a restaurant. The bathroom was dirty. Lets get to the food, variety was lacking with under rated items and to few. Two of the items were not even available. The most important part of a hot pot is not the novelty of sharing a boiling hotpot or doing it for the first time, but rather the mystic path that makes you believe that this hotpot soup was created by a master with generations of hard earned experience. The soup was very basic no flavour. The lamb tasted like the meat went bad. The induction hot plate did not even heat up the whole metal soup pot which makes cooking the food harder. I know we are coming out of a really hard time, but my money did not start growing on a tree with easy access to me. My quest for only the best the world has to offer for my hard earned money remains open. The idea is to curb the businesses that do not provide a truly unique experience, that make me believe in their passion not all businesses get into the workplace to provide a service. The inexperienced sometimes do not provide reviews that can be trusted . Its an sad experience to go to a restaurant and spend almost $100 for lunch to get this low budgeted inexperienced dribble passed off as normal. It made me feel like i let my wife down.
Delicious food and the service was amazing!
Foods taste very good, service is even better.
Amazing service, delicious food! The desserts were so good too.
Amazing food and great service.
The owner is amazing and treats the customers very well. A great place to bring friends and family for hot pot. One of my favorite places to eat in Regina!
SUPER SLOW! WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN.
Don t recommend at all I was very excited I love at home hotpot but we were ignored we didn t get everything we ordered it was very expensive we literally had to just get up and go to the till to get the bill and leave
Awful experience. We had high hopes going in and thought this may be a new favorite in the city. The service was beyond awful. The restaurant was nearly empty, there was 2 other tables being served aside from us and it appears they may have been staff? Those tables were given more attention... Either way there was no excuse for how poorly it went. We didnt recieve everything we ordered, we waited on drink refills which again, it was not busy... half our hot pot was so low and needed to be topped up with water, one bowl had a chip out of it, there was a bit of plastic on the food served... We ended up awkwardly standing up and leaving mid way through our meal and went somewhere else because of how little we were looked after. We waited for the bill at the till and the price was absolutely not worth it. Would not recommend this place at all.
Best hot pot restaurant! A huge variety of food and very tasty soup base, and all their food are very fresh. Desserts are awesome too. Booths are very comfy
Absolutely amazing hot pot experience! Definitely recommended!
My girlfriend force me to come here for dinner. It was pretty good. All you can eat for only 30 per person. It s not that expensive at all.
Excellent
Waited over 40 minutes for the food to come. Watched the Rider game and food still didn t come until after half time. There were tables that came in 20 minutes after my table came and they have their food before we did. Priorities are terrible, service is terrible. Do not come here.
Fantastic hotpot, cute and elegant interior, sooo tasty. Got the very spicy, mushroom and bone broth, all delicious. Recommend that you get lots of sliced beef and lotus roots! Super friendly staff!
Delicious food and great service! Awesome to have a hot pot place in town! Definitely want to go back
This was a great experience! The hot pot here was flavorful and fantastic! The service was great! The presentation was great with a little dry ice! The owner was very knowledgeable and he takes pride in his business and it can be seen! We did not order the all you can eat but we ordered per item. They have skewers which are fantastic, they taste amazing as well. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask the owner! We will be back!
Good
ANDY IS THE GOAT!
This place went above and beyond. You can tell that they really care about their customers. Andy was amazing! The food is great to eat on a cold night.
Great quantities of food, worth the price. Andy was a fantastic server ! Would go again :)
Love the brown sugar rice cake and ice jelly!!!
Excellent weekend lunch spot!
Really cool place, food was good, poor service however.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible sadly.
Been here 2 times. 1st time was a straight 5/5. For the second time Overall 3.5 experience the second time. Service I marked as a 2. Reasons being... A) Went there for an xmas party. No liquor whatsoever despite having the bar tag right on their sign outside; they did tell us they were going to get some for our party. Then they went and got a 12 pack of beer for a party of 7. It is what it is at that point so we were excited for the food B) When we ordered dishes we just never got them with no explanation. Such as broccoli, rice or beef tongue to name a few. We ordered these on three separate rounds and not once did they bring it or tell us they were out or if they werent out why it never came to us. Either they hold back on the $30 all you can eat or they just dont care. Recommended for going there. Yes. Id say go there its a good time. But when I go again, Ill definitely be ensuring what I order will be delivered.
The staff and owner are friendly, food is good
In the small store, the operators care can be seen everywhere. The hot pot is delicious and the service is considerate. Relatives and friends often gather together to keep the weather warm in winter, and guests and friends feel at home without the cold in spring.
the hotpot is really amazing
The tomato and three delicacies hot pot is good and has a rich variety
The best Chinese hot pot in Regina!
Highly recommend to try! Reasonable prices, clean tidy area, foods taste so good, you wouldnt find anywhere that have so many meat choice like this place. I goes 2 times and ordered from the Soft-Opening Menu, but I heard they said that they will expand more items in the next few weeks. Overall, definitely coming back for trying new dishes yumyum.
Best hot pot place in Regina. Terrific food and would highly, highly recommend!
Friendly and delicious, great selection for the hot pot
Great food and great customer service! Highly recommend this place! One of the best hotpot places Ive been to in Canada!
Recommended, the food is so good with many different flavours for soup!!
Amazing soups, authentic quality and flavours
Very good hot pot dining experience. Lots of choices and all fresh. They were out of bean sprouts on this particular occasion but otherwise everything was fine.
Service is good but the vegetables and sauce not very fresh
Authentic Chinese hot pot, comparable to hot pot chains in bigger cities (such as Happy Lamb). I wish it were AYCE though, small plates do add to a bigger bill. Broth was rich and flavorful. Extremely friendly and helpful female server. This restaurant needs more attention from the foodies in Regina. We didnt have a good hot pot restaurant but now we do, so lets embrace it!
Food is ok but slow ! Sources counter too dirty and not enough choice.
Taste ok but service slow the sources counter so dirty and not refill
