I have Celiac Disease so chose this place to eat supper based on the large amount of gluten free friendly options. Last time, I got the garlic mushroom tacos and they were too spicy for me. This time, I got the birria tacos. OMG they were amazing. The spice level was just right. So much flavour - salt, heat, acid, umami. We got the chips and dips starter that we both loved. I am normally a big fan of margs, but after recently discovering mezcal, I went with the smoky pineapple mezcal cocktail. It was my favourite mezcal drink ever. Honestly, it competed with my favourite margaritas ever. I cant wait to go back. The server was beyond friendly and helpful. We went around 6pm and our drinks, appies, and food all came within a few minutes of ordering. Incredible! Dietary restrictions: Tons of delicious, GF gluten friendly options. I have eaten here several times and never gotten ill from cross contamination. Make sure to tell them about your dietary needs when ordering.

Place has potential however the food I was served was overpriced and I wasn t impressed. I hardly touched it and the waitress didn t even check in to see why. Very disappointed.

A couple of our group got there around 5:20 and got their drinks right away. The rest of our group including myself arrived at 5:30 sharp. The first i saw our waitress was around 5:45 and our first group was clearly done their drinks by then. We then all ordered food and drinks then (approximately around 15 drinks as some of us ordered 2 at a time). Didnt see the waitress for at least twenty mins after that. It was hot where we were sitting so when she finally comes back we are all in desperate need of water if our drinks took any longer. Water comes just before our drinks which came at 6:29. Food came at 6:31. I ordered a second drink and the waitress forgot about it so I remind her nicely and it comes right before we need to get our bills come so I basically have to chug a bulldog. One bill was supposed to be split up on a few different bills, and they were all mixed and matched, she finally switched them and we were out of there finally.

The service is never great. Either you never see your server again after drinks/meal, or your bill is completely wrong otherwise, the food isn t too bad.

I can t speak to the atmosphere I have not been inside but the upper deck is beautiful at sunset. After having issues with the noise levels as I live in close proximity and Glen the general manager resolved the issues within the next few days, so the service is top notch. 5/5 if you have complaints they re more than willing to work with you Dietary restrictions: Many options for keto/ gluten free food allergies are taken seriously. Came in this afternoon for a late lunch. Didnt know it was happy hour from 2-5pm so I got lucky with half priced tequila & margaritas. Ordered the table side guacamole with classic tacos. I always recommend the Baja shrimp. Couldnt recommend this place enough!

once you seated they will give you the free chips with a very good spicy dauce and spicy mayo which was nice because it will take some time before you get your food order cocktails are also very good me and my mom had the grilled fish taco with the rice, rice was a little bit salty but the fish is good my nephew and my son had the bulgogi taco it was good as well but shouldve more meat at least and we asked for no cuucmber ending up the cucimber is still on the taco my neice request for no cilantro but when the taco came there still cilantro on it little things that i hope the server should pay attention too Kid-friendliness: i hope they also have menus for kids since most of the foods are spicy

Went with a group of people. Watched numerous other tables be seated and served and even clear their tabs over a 2 hour period without getting our drink orders. Server would take one or two orders from our table and then ignore the rest. Severe staffing problem at this establishment and no offer to resolve this situation. Do not reccomend.

Just had lunch. This was the best Mexican I ve had in Regina!! Fresh, fresh, fresh. Flavorful, authentic! Pina colada had fresh pinapple juice, cilantro was freshly chopped, the salad vegetables were crisp and fresh. Spices were mild and gave flavor, not just heat. Highly recommend you try it!!

My first experience, the food had a long wait time, but the food may be made each order. The second experience we were not served water. When I asked for a cup by the time I got up to pay the bill I still didn t receive the water. A person within my group paid for the entire bill, so I went to ask for clarification as to if we had a bill still. I was met by a waitress that said well did you order something? Then you should have a bill . While I understand her confusion of it all, it came off as unprofessional.

Customer service was bad waited 30 mins to get a drink ... then, after getting our drinks, we waited 45 to order, and after we finished, our food waited an hour to get our bill. Food was not bad 3 out 5 Would give them another chance.

Great happy hour! Tacos were great, recommend corn over flour as they are more robust for the filling. Margaritas were fantastic, the coconut chill one has a definite kick to it! Servers were great and lots of different areas to choose from depending on the setting you want or company you are with -intimate/ patio/ group etc. Great choice if you are visiting Regina!

Went here for a work lunch recently - there was 7 of us and wed put an hour and a half in our calendars for it, took the whole hour and a half and then a bit. Service was really slow and Im not sure why, it was not busy. Love the taco salad very much, but this was the second time Id been there (out of three times) where the service was super slow. Or maybe it was the kitchen, but either way.

First time we went here service was great, but we also came in because we couldnt get service at Leos and I made that known so service was great. Last night, well that was the worst experience Ive had, first we had to sit and wait for 10 minutes just to get menus and a drink order from the door boy cause Noone else seemed to care. Then when we finally got to order, we sat there ate our food finished our drink, almost an hour had past and Noone came to check on us, to see if we needed more food or more drinks. We were ignored the whole time. It wasnt full either so thats no excuse. Tell your staff if they want tips they need to actually deserve it. You guys lost a customer, be better than Leos OG it isnt hard.

Cool place, the food was decent but the drinks were nothing special. Supper and 3 drinks at a Mexican restaurant should not come to $155. Service was not great, I swear our server was high on something, she was almost like a ghost until it was time to collect payment. All in all I don t get the hype around this place, food was the highlight but still nothing to write home about, service was horrible, drinks were subpar and price was stupid.

The food was awesome, our servers Miranda, Sam, and Kirsten, were extremely knowledgeable and polite, and the venue is unique and cozy. This is somewhere you could hang out all day and sip on an excellent selection of tequilas and enjoy traditional Mexican food!

We tried out this new restaurant and we were very happy with the food, we loved the table side guacamole, the service, the atmosphere and our server Miranda was excellent! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great prices, great food and staff

Been here a few times but our recent experience was the best. Amy was an amazing server and constantly at our table checking up and making sure we were all set on drinks. Glenn, the new general manager was also swing by from time to time to make sure things are up to par. Will be back again!

The drinks (magaritas!) are incredible, the tastiest Ive had in the city. On the other hand, the food is nothing special (Agave does it a lot better). Their 50% off taco tuesday deal is amazinggggg! Id come back here solely for the drinks and go light on the food! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

This is supposed to be a $19 plate of tacos. Came without jalapeno ranch (one of the 4 ingredients...). A shot of 1800 coconut tequila was mixed with some kind of bar syrup? It was terrible. As for service, there has been a really noticeable drop off from when Blanco opened 8 months ago. (Visited Tuesday, January 30).

we asked 3 times for water, my friend ordered 2 chicken and one beef taco, the server replied back 2 beef tacos and a chicken and my friend said no 2 chicken and a beef. the food came out wrong even after we had clarified her order. my fiancée ordered tator tots and asked for them once again after our meal came and didn t come out until we were done. her eyes were barely open and she was running into tables. service not great. we asked for flour tacos and she gave us all corn. everybody s food was wrong, it s very upsetting. we asked for blanco tequila shots and got coconut. i don t normally complain, but the service was aweful. We spoke to a manager and he said he would take care of some stuff on our bill and never did. This is super disapointing.

As a Latina and huge fan of Agave, I had huge expectations checking out Blancos for the first time. The atmosphere was so cool and they even had my favourite tequila (Cenote) on the menu! We ordered Mexican bulldogs, which I couldnt even finish, it wasnt mixed or blended well, I ended up just drinking the Corona. We ordered the dirty fries which pretty much reminded me of the mexi fries from taco time (not a bad thing) but not amazing. The tacos were super disappointing. I love cabbage but not just plain cabbage, make some cortido with it or something! It just felt very plain, as if effort wasnt put into these tacos. I felt a little ripped off with the food and also...I understand we live in Canada, but hockey on the TV screens in a Mexican environment? I was so confused as to where I was suppose to be lol. Ill probably come back again for drinks in the summer. Thats my two cents. Adios!

We were greeted immediately and were asked for our preference on where we would like to sit. Upstairs in the booths of course! Our server was amazing. Matched our vibe right away. Eating in a restaurant with the price of food is a luxury and the food was impressive. We tried beef tacos, shrimp tacos, nachos and the Tijuana tots. All choices were fantastic. I will definitely be trying the tableside guac next time. The margaritas are fantastic and they have a fairly large selection to choose from. All in all a positive experience. Will go again.

The service was slower at first but she was dealing with a few larger groups and once it quieted down she was easier to find. The food was amazing and fresh. Smaller restaurant so it seemed tight (but not overly crowded like other local places ). Have been to Blancos a few times now and will definitely keep coming back. Parking: Not sure if there is a lot to park in but along Albert is quite busy and it can be hard to find a spot.

Great ambiance and great food options. We had a great time on the roof top patio where the music and the atmosphere was amazing. We ordered some vegetarian options and everything turned out to be good. The fried avocado burrito was really good. Their Queso was so good with the tortilla chips. I would definitely recommend this place for the vibes and the food.

A nice Mexican inspired restaurant with an awesome menu. After being seated, they give you some chips and salsa to wet your appetite. Many appetizers to choose from, but we got the Queso dip. It was more of a dry cheese queso versus a melted cheese Queso. It was very flavorful, but we ran out of chips before we finished our queso. Since it was Tuesday, we had the great special, 1/2 price tacos. Mix and match from pork, chicken, fish, and beef on corn or flour tortillas. We added sides of cheese, sour cream, salsa, and red sauce. The service was great. They have both outdoor and indoor seating to choose from. I would recommend reservations as this place was very busy. They have various specials every day, which we will have to try.

This place will definitely be a favourite of mine. Last weekend I went out with friends and tried the tacos and had a watermelon Margarita. The food and service were both incredible! I love Mexican food and they did not disappoint.

We were sat quickly and the server was welcoming and efficient. Not much has changed inside the restaurant since its last iteration, but it was nice then too. Given the nice service and venue, our expectations were high. The first thing that jumped at me was how dirty the food menu was. It was all stained and wrinkled even though the place has only been open for weeks. No big deal, the contents sounded tasty. Then I read the drink menu and I got kind of hung up on the tequila prices. For instance, theres a ninety dollar bottle on the menu selling at $35/ounce. Thats a 1000% markup! I realize alcohol gets marked up but thats insane. Theres also a $75/ounce selection on there, and granted its a $400 bottle BUT thats a whole bottle! So now that I was sufficiently biased against this place, our food arrived. In my now biased opinion, I found it middle of the road at best. I kept thinking I should go back to Agavé, and give them another try. I was thinking this is ok, but Agavé was much better. We finished up and vowed to return to Agavé the next day which we did, and they were terrible. Now Im depressed and the only thing lifting my spirits is my bottle of Casamigos Reposado, and the knowledge that by drinking it at home, Im saving $22/oz.

Margaritas are great. They did a good job renovating. Took us about an hour to get our food (our order was misplaced in the kitchen?) they ran out of draught corona, which is fine, but you d think they d honour the $7 special with another beer given they ran out at 6pm. I ve been to a few Blanco locations between Sask and Calgary and the food is pretty consistent. Not great, but decent. Would ve given more stars if the meal was partially comped given the time we waited. At least they apologized.

Not wheelchair friendly. We weren t able to find/see a wheelchair ramp anywhere out front to access the restaurant. If it was somewhere out in the back, the employees failed to guide us.

I had been waiting for this place to open and I was quite excited visiting for the first time. The place looks great, and the service was on point. Where I was disappointed was on the food. The pico de gallo and guacamole were spoiled. Pico de gallo and guacamole are easy things to make and dont take much time. Making it fresh is the key. I know for a fact that the pico de gallo was not made to order. I would give you guys a next try in the future.

I cannot rave hard enough about the amazing service, tequila choices, and delicious tacos. If you get a chance to swing by there, the shrimp tacos, and beef barbacoa are phenomenal. Id also take advantage of their tequila flights, sip on a raspberry jalepeno or chili coconut margarita- you wont be disappointed. Make a reservation, if youre headed there during dinner time because it was packed!

No one at the host stand, had to flag a waiter down to get seated. Had to flag a waitress down to get menus since none provided when seated. Could see the host stand from where we were seated and there was never anyone there. Ordered a Negra Modelo, got a regular one. Food was OK but nothing special. Seemed to take along time to get there as well. Noisy and would be crowded if all tables occupied. Doubt we would bother going back again.

Enjoyed a Wednesday evening meal here. Atmosphere was fun with great music. Our server Eli was fabulous. Really good customer service which is very much appreciated. Would like to see a slightly bigger kids menu/kids beverages offered. Mini tacos or mini chicken burger for example. Would definitely go back for a date night or girls evening out.

Taco Tuesday at Blancos was amazing!! I think between our group of four we had a taste of every taco on menu and they are were truly amazing our favorite were the crispy fish and shrimp tacos. The service was excellent! Oh.... and the Chili Coconut Margarita was so good! We will be back, again and again!

Nice restaurant. Food was good. I ordered steak fajitas and the steak was not cooked enough to my taste. But maybe all fajitas have the same level of cooking. Drinks were very good thought. I would recommand this place.

Atmosphere was great, service okay, drinks top notch, guacamole was really good, but tacos were so plain and tasteless that I had to put so much hot sauce in order to finish eating them. I have not tried rest of the menu I can t say all good was bad. But tacos are 1/10 absolutely no flavour.

We made reservations weeks ahead of our visit and we were seated next to the bathroom upon arrival . I asked for a new table so we were asked to wait in the foyer to be reseated. In the meantime many other walk in customers were seated before us. We waited so long, we left to go to Cathedral Social Hall who happily served us. Very disappointing experience. I decided to give the place another try so I visited for supper again with a friend. There was no air conditioning, it took 25 mins for a drink, and there were flies everywhere. I will not be returning.

A neat little place, but the vegetarian portions at least are a little small for the prices, and its very loud. Our server was new, and we had some trouble with the bill, but Im confident that isnt a trend. Vegetarian options: Fewer vegetarian options tan Id expect from a Mexican place, but they are tasty, if small portioned.

Went for lunch and had a great time. Server was attentive. We had the 3 taco combo, a quesidilla, and dirty fries. All were quite good. The tequila Caesars were awesome. Definitely will visit again.

Service was great. Food was very disappointing. We had three kind of tacos (beef, pork and fish) and all were bland. Barely any toppings and you had to pay $3 for a tablespoon of cojita cheese.

Our group of 7 recently visited for a birthday celebration. When we got there, no one was by the entrance to welcome/seat us and we didn t see a sign that said wait to be seated. After waiting for a while we decided to walk in and find seats. We ended up finding someone who seated us but then was quite annoyed with us that we walked in. At this point our group wished we had just left and go to another restaurant. I definitely didn t feel welcomed. This food was bland, nothing amazing. We also waited for a long time for our food and our bill. It wasn t a good experience for a birthday celebration. We did like the music and the atmosphere/decor.

The service was very good. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. 10/10 for the waitstaff. On the other hand, food was just alright. Nothing too special on the appetizers, although they were yummy. We got two types of tacos, the baja shrimp and chicken tinga. The baja shrimp tacos were a much better option. The chicken tinga was good but felt like it lacked something that could have been there to enhance it a bit more. The enchiladas (not in photo) was just okay. Something about it tasted a bit sour. Not sure if it was the lime or the sauce used on it. Took us by surprise with the initial sour taste. Overall it s okay. But not sure if I would come again.

Really tasty food. Good selection of food options. Portions are right-sized. Prices are reasonable too. Facility is really nice and colourful Mexican motifs. As this restaurant is just new (3 months open, from June 2023) everything is nice and fresh! Welcoming and friendly staff, and quick service. Go and enjoy! It is a nice atmosphere and experience.

Just had dinner here, started off very well but after putting in our food order s service went down hill fast. we never received chips and salsa. food was delivered by a different server who looked very unprofessional hair didn t looked brushed and was falling out of the ponytail very much a turn off as i don t want hair in my food she also appeared to not be in dress code assuming it is black and she was in green and jean shorts. our food which was absolutely delicious but didn t get culturally or even napkins until we we re essentially done eating by our original server which was frustrating as we were never asked if we needed anything else when our food was delivered. we watched both waitress drinking eating and giggling on their phones behind the bar while us and the table waited over 20 minutes for our bills. thankfully once we got our bill we paid in cash so we didn t have to wait for her to come back 20 more minutes later with the debit machine. Very frustrating as it was not busy until we left and the food was amazing. undecided if we will return

Best place in town if you want tequila and tacos. The patio is really cool. Definitely the best selection for tequila at a restaurant in the whole city.

Never had a server make amazing food taste so bad. Went for a couple drinks this weekend with friends and It seemed like our server Carly had better places to be. Waited a long time to order drinks and only got about half what I ordered. When items we didnt receive made it to the bill, it didnt seem like a big deal... to us, but based on how upset our server got and how she threw the debit machine onto the table, never wanted to skip a tip faster. The one saving grace was the amazing tacos and nachos from the kitchen! Probably would recommend if it was just the food but its not....

Excellent food, fabulous staff but the music and patrients were too loud, I think due to its size. Sitting outside is best.

It was good! First time there. We had the guacamole that was made at our table. It was a fun experience and tasty. Maybe they should use larger utensils when mixing it so it is easier to mix. I tried a shrimp taco and a beef barbacoa taco. The shrimp was great, beef a little dry. I had a bite of the barbacoa burrito (tasty) and the tots were tasty too. Will be back again.

This place is a great spot to go for tacos. During happy hour everyday their tacos are 50% off! 3$ tacos are hard to beat. They only had the basic tacos not the special ones for happy hour but there was still a good variety. They had chicken, beef, fish, shrimp and pork. Would definitely come back!

Service was good. Food was way over seasoned. We sat upstairs and it was freezing. My nine year old asked for a side of cheese for his tacos, $3 for an oz.

Really enjoyed our first visit to this Albert Street gem! Fabulous friendly service with great drinks and food. Will definitely be back!

Great food and great service.

Tacos are good, but not full price good. Recommend getting them only when they have happy hour prices ($3 per taco and $6 margaritas), because that way when you re less than enthused by the service (or lack there of), you can say to yourself well, you get what you pay for .

I came to Regina for a work function and popped into Blancos for dinner and I was so impressed with my service and the food. My server was so attentive and helpful, just made my experience there one of the best. I didn t know what to order and she suggested the best items.. from food to drinks.. amazing. Shout out to Taylor.. hope I spelled it right.. you made my night girl. Keep doing amazing. Food is top notch.

Great food, would have given 5 stars but it was a bit pricey. I got one drink and a burrito for $45 including tip !

We came in into Blanco s on two separate occasions. First time for drinks and second time for drinks and food. Both times we had a server named Carly. she made our experience at Blanco s even better with her service. She recommended cocktails and beer based off of what we said we liked, she also recommended food and had a great knowledge of the menu. She frequently came to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. And even though the place was full, she took the time to make sure we were satisfied with our food and drinks. Her outgoing, personality and pleasant attitude, along with her knowledge of the menu and drinks made our experience at Blancos that much better. I would definitely suggest going to this restaurant to my friends and family because the food and drinks are great and the service was 10 out of 10. Parking: Hard to find parking when it was busy
