The only reason I ever went here was for the free birthday poutines and now they are discontinued. $15-20 is way too expensive for a single poutine.

What an amazing restaurant! They were so accommodating to my laundry list of dietary limitations. Not only were they so accommodating but the food was a huge hit with everyone. My son loved his poutine and milkshake. My partner got a garlic chicken poutine and loved it. Cannot wait to go back!!

Other local businesses who offer similar birthday treats, treated us fantastic and we will continue to support them instead.

Asked for GF Fish and Chips. No longer available ! Then take it off menu. Ordered a chicken salad for pick up after work. Got home it was so so soggy and way too much dressing. My other meal was a Perogie Poutine which was enjoyed. The best part of my meal was the Chocolat Milkshake.

I live in Montreal, where poutines come from. All Quebecers love it. But what a disappointment!!! My daughter and I found the sauce extremely salty. After a few bites, we were no longer able to eat. We felt sick all evening. I dont recommend it at all. Nothing to do with the good poutines of Quebec.

I love going to Coney Island Poutine, they have a great selection of shakes, ice cream and poutines and are the best tasting and highest quality in the city with affordable pricing. If want a great snack pop down to their place or even keep an eye out for their food truck because they also do catering.

Actually such a nice place, Ive been going ever since I was a little girl and theyre staff are just the sweetest in the whole world, the food is amazing and it has such an enjoyable and comfortable aura to it, definitely one of my favorite places in Regina

Can in on 05/12/24 order #26 at 12:52pm sat down at waited. Order sat in window for how many minutes. Order #28 got their order before mine. Mine sat in the window for a few more minutes. Got the food and mine was luke warm not hot. Maybe ate half maybe. Total waste food wasn t even that good. No flavour not to mention luke warm. I will never come back ever. I will be telling everyone in my travels never to come this poor excuse for a business

Came out for lunch for Mothers Day with my husband. Drink machine was out of multiple kinds of drinks. Wait for the food took forever. People who came in after us were served before us. My husbands food was cold, and it was absolutely flavourless. He had the spicy Mexican. I had the Piccadilly. They skimped on the pickles and the cheese curds on both dishes. The gravy was SUPER salty. Went to get pepper, and I could see packets of salt and pepper that had gotten wet. Very poor experience. Wont be back. ETA: Clean your damn drink/ice machine. My drink tasted funny and I had to dump it out. I notice the owner only responds to positive reviews, except to discredit one specific negative review. In a world of the internet is forever, that isnt very smart. This owner has taken a thriving popular local business and driven it into the ground.

First time we tried the fish and chips , definitely the best I ever had , anyone craving for good fish and chips must try it. No disappointments.

The poutine here is awesome !! Tried the special menu today, gluten free fish and chips. The fish was very very tasty, cooked to perfection with a very nice crust. The fries were great of course. Homemade tartar sauce. Coleslaw was very good. Will definitely come back again. No pictures as the fish and chips were devoured as soon as they touched the table :)

My son and I went for poutines and he chose the Buffalo chicken poutine. He said it was amazing! I had the clubhouse poutine. Omg! So good! They traveled well. We drove 20 minutes after picking them up. The fries were still crispy and the cheese curds still squeaked. No pics because we ate them so fast. We also went on Thursday, and their special is $1.00 off Italian sodas. We both had the watermelon and WOW! Perfect with the poutine! PS I shared with my dog and he loved the huge chicken strips and tomatoes!

I have only tried the Pic-a-dilly poutine and some of the lemonades, but OMG THEY ARE SO GOOD! Blackcherry lemonade tastes like a rocket popsicle! Can t wait to try more from here. Just wish they had a location on the east side

Saturday evening I stopped in to grab multiple poutines for my little family! The service was great! The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were friendly. Great little hole in the wall. They specialize in poutine, but do not be fooled. There are endless selections of types of poutine, sandwiches, chicken, and so much more. The popcorn chicken is good, and that thai sauce is stellar. There is just enough spice to sweetness ratio. Honey Garlic has a good garlic kick to it. The poutine options can be smothered in varied meat and other options and are delicious. Also, remember you can get a no cost poutine with the purchase of a drink on your birthday. Check them out. Everyone working here is young and very pleasant.

**edit: to let the owner know, I am not a friend of a disgruntled employee. I was a regular who got to know the old staff there. I knew Jamie before you got rid of her for no specific reason , I know your two younger girls who work in the front (who I absolutely adore as they give amazing service to customers when I go in), and I knew the young 17yr old girl who also stopped working there. (Which rumour going around is that you had something to do with that during closing shifts, suspicious that she s no longer working there). So because the owner tries to find some sort of connection between staff and customers, (huge reach here lol) maybe he should try to keep his hands to himself and his wife (poor woman).** Had come in to get food and an Italian soda on February 7, 2024 at 7:34pm. Had seen that the chalkboard menu was as updated and didn t see the poutine on there anymore so didn t get food (which was probably a good thing as I seen the cook working in the back and remember last time I was there his coworker was telling him he needed to wash his hands after using the washroom). So decided to stick to my usual pineapple Italian soda. Had seen that there was a new worker behind the till who took my order, and seen that manager Trina was getting close ready and cleaning the seating area. The new girl took my order fine until I go to pay and the worker was watching me put my pin into the machine so I hid the rest quickly. As for the pineapple soda, if I could give this rating 0/5 I would. I took one sip of it and my stomach absolutely turned, which is weird because it s just ice, tonic water and flavouring. Barely any flavouring, maybe a quarter of what was supposed to go in there, the tonic water tasted flat and didn t hear a can opening so wondering if the can was open and sitting. I had asked the manager to dump the drink for me, so unfortunately I am out what I paid for it. (New bosses were in the office but highly doubt they would offer a refund or replacement drink anyways).

Food is always 10/10. Will always be my go-to spot. Very friendly atmosphere. So many options.. drinks, milkshake, Italian sodas, salads, poutines.. you name it they have it. The only place I have ever had the owner come out and create conversation with customers. Will always have this place on my top 10.

I have been to Coney Island many of times and would like to say the new owners are amazing very clean and the new staff they have are very nice not like the previous staff that did not clean and always playing on there phones. Congrats to the new owners.

Coney Island is definitely a 10/10 experience. Great customer service, very polite, food is amazing, and their wide variety of drinks is a bonus, place is very clean and accessible for everyone; it is definitely a must try. The manager was always helping out to make sure everyone was having a great experience. Thank you to all the staff, especially the manager.

Love eating at Coney Island

I was in the store about a week ago, and the service and food has gone downhill since the new owners took over, I ordered ribs and they were very over cooked ate 3 and garbaged the rest, I have been going to this store for yrs and always loved there food and the happy environment. This last time I went in there were no smiles no happy hellos it was not the same, Staff is completely different and not a very happy place anymore. The service has gone down it really isnt the same I will not go back and I will also tell all my friends not to go back. The price has gone up, the daily deal isnt even a deal anymore. Very unsatisfied customer.
