Oh my goodness, the flavours. Even more typically bland dishes like chicken tikka, are alive with full flavour! Was a recommendation from a friend Sukhdeep, and is easily a top favourite restaurant in Regina. Atmosphere is quite nice, staff super friendly, but what really shines is the food. Some really unique dishes on their menu, too, like shrimp malabar curry. But honestly if they can make chicken tikka exciting, they can make anything happen. Highly recommend.

We had dinner there and tried the chicken Manchow soup, Hakka noodles, and dragon chicken. The soup was great, but the Hakka noodles and dragon chicken were disappointing. We had chosen a medium to spicy level, but the dishes only tasted spicy without any flavor. The dragon chicken seemed coated only in spice and ketchup. Aside from the soup, the meal was not enjoyable. However, the customer service was excellent.

One fine Indian food in Regina, Chicken tandoori and paneer Tikka platter tasted really good. Will definitely revisit to try their other dishes. The person who attended us recommended the right dishes and asked our preference of taste too. She was welcoming and gentle. I wouldnt recommend their Chinese dishes.

Oh my God I tried their fish masala, it was awesome!!!! Fish so fresh, taste so good, not overly spices. A must try!!!! The portion is also good!!

Today I had placed an order (Take Away) Hakka Noodles & Tandoori Chicken Full plate at around 21:10 LT. I had specifically requested being Hakka Noodles (Very Mild in Spice) & Tandoori Chicken Full plate (Extra spicy) since it was not for kids. We drove there got the parcel came home and once we started to have it, we realized that the Tandoori Chicken was not spicy at all, where we had requested to make it Extra Spicy. We called back to tell them, what we had ordered was entirely different from what we had asked for. When we had called back to inform them of the same, surprisingly what they could say was they will make it spicy, the next time we order. Never for once they took into consideration the distance we drove to get the food, the time and money wasted to get a specific dish and everything went in vain. All they could tell us was Next time we will make it Spicy I expected the management to be a little courteous & to accept what they have done was a total error from their side and that they would replace the dish with the actual order placed !!!!! Now I guess as to what they told, I have to order once again another Tandoori Chicken just so they can clear their ERROR paid from my pocket again. How Can that be justified. Completely not. Sad to say - JUSTICE NOT SERVED.

It was our first time at a darbar restaurant. The best Indian food I ever had in my life , specially grilled platter, tandoori chicken,lamb kadai chicken Rogan Josh , chicken tikka masala and their Garlic naan is best i ever had. Hands off to the chef and the staff. Best food with the best service. We will be the regular customer now.

The place was recommended by my friend to have dinner. The place was very good & the staff was very polite & courteous . Our order for chicken biryani was not spicy as asked so they happily gave us one more plate of biryani to try out which was very good. They also gave us kadahi chicken to try out which was good too. Must try dragon chicken,laccha paratha,samosa,butter paneer as well.

Not great experience in terms of food taste , It s not consistent.

Went there for the first time. Food was not as requested. No taste at all. Never have i requested to send food back at a restaurant but this was not even worth eating so sent it back but they just added some spice to the same dish and sent it back as we could actually see that they didn t even care to give a fresh dish rather than just fixing it with some spice. Would never go back :(

I had some problem with the food. The owner of the restaurant contacted me immediately after reporting and they refunded the entire money that I paid. Really appreciate that kind gesture of the owner who really cares about customers experience. Trying their food again this weekend. To everyone who wants best service, Darbar Restaurant is your guy.

One of the items I had was a fish appetizer, It was so good. Melt in your mouth. Parking on street. I was there noon hour, lots of on street parking. Prices are reasonable.

We love our food! And Darbaar didn t fail to IMPRESS. This was our first time here ( always passed through but never visited) and we ordered a few dishes- Chaat basket, Manchow Soup, Chicken 65, Veg Noodles, Paneer zalfarezi, and butter chicken! We absolutely loved everything that was ordered. To all the other places I have been to, there s may be 50% of things that we wouldn t like in the food we order, but at Darbaar every single dish was delicious, the quantity was generous and my veg noodles has enough vegetables to call it Vegetable noodles! In short, this place won t disappoint

Worst Biryani ever !!! Just by adding all gram masala it doesnt become Biryani. Also, coriander is not added !! No Parking, & the host & waiters have to stop assuming that every brown skin person speaks Hindi. I gave 3 stars as the restaurant looks very clean & smells good.

This place s food is awesome but, the people who work there are trash. It your fate, if you get good food and good service from the restaurant, you are lucky, but if you don t, it will be a terrible experience. I ordered couple items from the restaurant and one of them tasted really bad and smell from yesterday. I talked to the guy on the desk and he behaved very rudely to me and shouted at me. I talked very politely, though one of the guy said that do whatever you want to do. The place is very overconfident that they will receive regular customers and so, they don t care about what type of services they provide and if they lose a customer. I would genuinely won t recommend this place to anyone instead, if you want to try your fate and how lucky you get!!!!

Best Naan in town hands down. Also Ive tried most all curry places in town and this is the best. Fresh, flavourful, fair in pricing. Vegetarian options: Lots of Vegetarian options as a vegetarian, its perfect!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Darbar and trying their lamb vindaloo, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The restaurants ambiance was warm and inviting, with elegant decor and friendly staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. As for the lamb vindaloo, it was simply amazing. The tender chunks of lamb were cooked to perfection and infused with a rich, spicy flavor that had just the right amount of heat. Best Gobi 65 ever had.

I liked the food and would have given 5 stars but my curry did not come with rice. Not sure if they left it out or it is extra but if he latter then please say so on your website as it s misleading. I m now still hungry and will have to order elsewhere

I am really disappointed with the food. Veg chettinad is a disaster, tasted like som Punjabi Khadi gravy. Lacha paratha was chewy and burnt on sides. Chicken lollipop had raw smell when biting, not cooked well. Order other breads which was fine. ee have ordered onina bajji, but it was actually looked and tasted like onion pakora.

Delicious Indian Cuisine. The appetizer soup and main course is best you can have in Regina. Try all the fish item you won t regret. Also the Naan and roti is unbelievable Recommended dishes Fish Tikka 8 PC

Food was really good but server had very bad attitude and did mistake in taking order. I recommend food as I mostly go there if want to eat Punjabi dishes but server (she) was very bad , she has very bad attitude without reason even though restaurant was not busy

We ordered a meal for pickup and the meal was excellent. The half order of tandoori chicken was literally half a chicken. Perfect for sharing between 2 people. The chicken Tikka Masala was also incredible, perfect amount of spice and absolutely delicious with their garlic Naan and basmati rice. I will 100% order again and I cant wait to try more of their dishes. Would highly recommend

What a fantastic meal! Went in for the lunch platter special and split an order of Paneer 65 with my friend. Everything was incredible and spice level was just perfect. Service was friendly and prompt, meal portion sizes were great, and prices were very reasonable. One of the best places in all of YQR! Cant wait to go back again.

[Update on 8th feb, 2022]Waiting for food since around 1 and a half hour. Its not even busy since no tables were occupied when we entered the place. Starters came around after 50 minutes. At last we said that its okay we dont want to eat and they started to argue by saying there are 4 tables occupied and therefore it will always take time. Since we did not wanted to waste food we asked them to pack it. No doubts the food quality is great but with such management I dont think its worth it.

Just ask not add cream in curry so you get authentic Indian food taste. We tried Paneer tikka and I loved it. Ambient is ok not so special.

Best Indian food restaurant in regina. Me and my friends went on Mother s Day and as expected restaurant was super busy serving 70-80 people at a time. I was so impressed with the humble service I got and food was soo tasty. Quality of the food was not compromised at all even in the super busy hours. Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in regina. Menu is very exciting and in love with Paneer Dilruba. Customer service at its best . Must try restaurant in regina !!

I ordered a few days ago for the first time, heard good things, and can honestly say it was well worth it. The food was stellar and delicious, good portions properly packed for takeout, very affordable, service was great and very confident but but in a showy way they know they are good and are proud of it. I will be ordering again. Absolutely must try the chicken 65, it was unreal how good it was.

Authentic delicious East Indian cuisine made so that any level of spicy heat tolerance can enjoy it. I want the flavor but not the spicy heat and this is my go to East Indian restaurant. They are friendly and the food is exceptional. When we go, my husband can get his super hot and I know that Ill always get consistent mild and never have to second guess what Ive ordered like I have majority of other East Indian restaurants.

The food was good; could have been better. The cooks need further understanding of a restaurants cooking. The server was excellent, courteous as well as polite. Will I come again? Maybe! However, I am on a mission to find the one who put their heart into cooking.

Its one of the most authentic Indian/desi food places. One of the very few eateries in Regina I look forward to go to.

Ordered dal makhni, methi paneer, butter chicken and rotis. Dal had no salt. All 3 curries were too spicy. Children ate only 2 bites and left. This is the second time we ordered from this restaurant and food was not eatable. This was our last time ordering from them.

Worst food ever ! Worst customer service! We ordered same dish twice firstly it was good and second time ( it was worst) and we wasted our 3 hours for the worst food !

It was first time dining experience for my self and wasn t up to the mark at all . First we went to the place and they took order , we almost waited 45 minutes for Appetizers it was us and only i guess one more table which were in for dine in . After appetizers it was the food took more than 30 minutes and we asked for spicy clearly mentioned twice not spicy at all >> When we asked why it is taking too long the response was sorry its because there is one chef only ( If you gonna take extra time atleast mention it before ) . We repeat the order because we guys were waiting and getting hungry { the paneer tikka masala was worst i have ever tried } . Please look over this thing its not about the 150$ bill we paid its about satisfaction derived from the experience was zero

Shout out to Darbar for our food tonight. We asked them to make it all not spicy for the kids. And they ate 2nds and 3rds of everything! Fish pakora, beef vindaloo were some of the many delicious dishes we ordered and shared with friends. Would definitely recommend!

Nice clean restaurant. Our server was very friendly. We have ordered Chaat basket (it doesn t come in basket though) Lentil Soup, Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala. My food rating as follows Lentil Soup 5 stars Tandoori Chicken 4 stars Nan 3 stars Chaat and Lamb Tikka Masala 2 stars Lamb Tikka Masala was big disappointment, it had kind of sweet taste not authentic curry Masala taste. Menu has too many items, I feel it s better for them to focus on items they are good at and remove all other items. Just my opinion.
