I ordered the lasagna with a side of meatballs. It came in a very small pan, 3x4. The meatballs were busted up into chunks on top. The lasagna had one noodle, all meat. It was obvious it was pre-made, frozen and reheated. And lastly the cheese, not real, not melted. We ordered a ham and peperoni pizza. The ham was overcooked but the cheese wasnt melted. Finally, my wife ordered the chicken parm with some kind of pasta. The pasta had to much sauce and chicken parm is what gave this review 1 star. For 80 bucks we feel we got riped off. Wont return

Staff was really friendly, my server Evan was great, food was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. This was my first time here, and Ill be back because theres so much more on the menu I want to try.

Great deal on the endless soup, salad and bread. Food is a bit greasy for the most part. Wait staff is usually very friendly.

We re traveling through so this was our first visit. Place was busy, no surprise, staff was very friendly. There was a mix up on our order. Waitress heard chicken parm not veal parm. ( probably my fault as everyone says I speak quietly). Issue was addressed in short order. To our complete surprise and amazement both my meal and my wife s was compted! The manager and waitress both apologized for the mixup. Bonkers we have not seen this type of service in years! We travel east/west every spring and fall. This is definitely the place we will have supper when we come through town!!

We went to the regina location september 28th/2024 it was very busy. We had a party of 7, 3 hungry kids included. Jesse was our waiter he did an amazing job, gave exceptional service. Best service weve ever had from a server. Thanks again Jesse for the amazing service.

Food okay, but theres definitely a different chef... Food doesnt look as advertised. Not going to be eating out here anymore, saving the cheddar, just like the chef.

Waitress had good recommendation for a beer on tap when given our preferences. Shared a lasagne entree. It was the right amount of food for us with the garlic loaf and salad. Only downside is that the lasagne didnt come out split.

As we entered the restaurant we were instantly seated by a kind waitress (didn t know the name). The atmosphere was amazing I witnessed someone get a bunch of claps by the staff for their birthday even thought it seemed a little awkward it was still amazing. When we ordered the wait time was short then most restaurants ( it wasn t that full) and the food looked excellent. Well my food was really good I ordered a pepperoni calzone which had cheered me up a bit since I wasn t that well. The cheese was really stringy which cooperated well with the sauce and pepperoni which made well worth the price. My family didn t really think it wasn t worth it since their food wasn t that good. For my personal experience and my food it was 5 stars in everything.

Its been many years since I ate at East Side Marios and I will say that its gone downhill. 3 of us went for supper at about 4:45 so it wasnt busy yet but did fill up as we ate. We ordered drinks and entrees so we got the all you can eat salad, soup and home loaf. The salad was fine, the soup was good but we were surprised that a table of 3 only gets 1 6 inch home loaf to share. Kinda felt bad asking the waitress to run around just for a loaf so we didnt even bother. Maybe delivery 1 per person to start then refill as needed. The alfredo was dry and the lasagna was about 1/3 the thickness of the menu photo and was cool in the middle. Sad to say but I wont be in a rush to go back anytime soon.

Had a great time there today, starting from Soup whatever we ordered was delicious. Sane took care of us in very professional way. Overall its 5 star except from decorations, crowd was also great . We will visit again.

Tried a couple different things tonight instead of our usual. Not bad. Soup and salad were good as always. We had a terrific waiter whose name is Jesse! Very friendly! Hope we are lucky enough to have him next time we are there! Parking: Large parking area. You may have to park a short distance from the restaurant when its busy. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and they have a kids menu. Our kids enjoy the choices.

If you have ever been to an olive garden but were disappointed with the limited menu options, then this is the place for you. Same family style meal but with much better entree options Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. Coloring activities and kids menu, with fun drink options

Best bang for your buck

Whoever was cooking the steaks at 5 pm tonight deserves a raise! Best steak ever ! was super busy and food still came out super fast! Did take a bit to be seated and served, but overall really good! Parking: Lots of parking space

Dont like the fact that the waiter or waitress thinks their tips should be more than what the meals are. Most people are struggling, and eating out is a treat. Typically, when on vacation. I didnt work extra hours to be belittled by my waitress on leaving her a better tip. Otherwise, food was good

we went to east side marios in prince of whales location on sunday, we ordered tilapia and steak i ordered medium well but it was not done to my liking, server took it back to the kitchen and have it done to my liking accordingly then theres four of us plis 2 kids but the server only gave us 2 pieces of bread one of the restaurant that ive been for steak but then just like the other restaurant i have to bring it back because it wasnt cook accordingly

Visited restaurant for the very first time today. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Would really like to thank the manager/owner for the special gift. Will definitely be coming back to try new dishes.

The food and service is always great here. I highly recommend eating here. My favourite soups in the city. Me and my GF will definitely be eating at East Side Mario s more often.

Was disappointed with scallop carbonera. Scallops were few abd far between and the bacon wrapped scallops were deep fried and like little hockey pucks. Quality of food has really dropped since our previous vists.

Food was good and service was friendly and fast. All you can eat soup and salad was awesome and a great deal. Make sure you go hungry.

East Side is one of our favorite restaurants, we go for many special occasions. However, the last few times we have visited it seems as though the place is not being upkept. Everything is sticky (tables, chairs, menus, salt&pepper shakers) and felt dirty. Additionally, they have some major plumbing/bathroom issues which have not been addressed, the bathrooms smell like sewage backup and need a major cleaning, the toilets and sinks were disgusting. Unfortunately we wont go again until things get cleaned up. The service was good and meals were very tasty, as always but if the public area of the establishment is this gross then I dont want to imagine what the kitchen looks like.

We have been coming here for many years. Unfortunately, this time service was underwhelming. We did not have plates and cutlery on our table and had to ask for it after our bread loaf arrived. We received it with our appetizer. Mens washroom did not have any soap in either dispensers.

I have eaten here hundreds of times at least once a week. Love the salad.soup .. keep it coming..yaaaaaaa

What a great place for not only a date night but also is a great place for the family the only little problem I had with my pasta dish was that the muscles were a bit under rinsed and there were a couple that werent open after cooking which meant they werent safe to eat other than that the atmosphere service and food was absolutely amazing I highly recommend going thanks

Havent been to an Eastside Marios in awhile....now I know why..the food wasnt great. Service was good, salad was drowning with onions & dressing! Wowza...wont be back.

I gave our meal a 4* as after we finished our salads,we waited longer than we should have to get our entrées. My pasta was very tasty but was barely lukewarm all the way through. I asked if I could have it reheated and they said they would make another plate of pasta. It out came out much quicker. The food was very tasty,and we understand mistakes happen. Thankyou so much to the manager for taking the time to come to our table to apologize and giving us our meal and dessert on the house !! It shows you care about your business & customers !!! We would highly recommend Eastside Marios and will return. All the best in 2023.

Awful service, small portions and just ok food. The waitress brought out the wrong order, then brought out the right order but was missing the sauce. We had to flag her down for drink refills she never ended up bringing. She blamed the chef for the wrong order. She never offered refills on the never ending items. We were cracking up by the end of it wondering what else could go wrong.

Found a fly crammed in my salad, called and the manager said he would send out a gift card the following Monday. Over a month later and it Never happened. Overall unsatisfied with the customer service and money wasted on the meal.

Recently, we went to East Side Marios again to celebrate my daughters eighth birthday. Despite mentioning it to the waitress, she didnt acknowledge or wish my daughter a happy birthday. Moreover, the fancy kids drink my daughter ordered didnt resemble the picture, lacking the promised cotton candy. It was disappointing to see that the waitress forgot about this detail. As we finished our meal, the waitress hurriedly presented us with the bill without any consideration for our experience. When I inquired about the ice pop that was supposed to accompany the kids meal, she admitted she forgot, without even offering an apology. The poor service completely ruined the birthday dinner vibes. To add to our disappointment, the food lacked the flavor it once had. Considering these experiences, I cannot recommend this East Side Marios location anymore.

Went to this restaurant a few months ago. Had not been to an East Side Marios in years. I will say service was extremely prompt, food quality as expected for this type of chain restaurant. Definitely family orientated as well as girls night out sort of environment. Would avoid based on atmosphere if you want a quiet date night ambiance was extremely loud and noisy during our visit. Price point does offer a good value for those on a budget or bringing their kids. As expected a solid 4 stars with extra points on cleanliness of establishment.

We hadnt been to an East Side Marios in over 15 yrs. They are not really out west but we saw this one in Regina and went. Enjoyed ourselves and the all you can eat salad and soup combo

If youre eating pasta here, youre probably here for the all-you-can-eat soup/salad/breadsticks. Yes. Theyre delicious. The other food is good too if youre looking for some pasta. Pictured below is the chicken parmesan and chicken milano.

Great place to hang out and really good food

We enjoy the restaurant for birthday parties and family gatherings. Unfortunately 2 times now people from out party have gotten sick after eating dishes which contained chicken. The service was fairly quick but that may have also been the downfall to our food experiences.

We had incredible service here, the waitress and manager were extremely helpful to us in providing the necessary dietary information as well as customizing our kids meal for our diabetic daughter so that we could get proper insulin dosing figured out. Going to restaurants is usually somewhat stressful for us, and this was by far the most supportive place we have been to since diagnosis. We will definitely return. Also our waitress was amazing, and the food was delicious!

We were in a rush so we called ahead to see if they could take an order and have it ready for us. We arrived and instantly had food at our table. The food was yummy as per usual and the service was top notch! We will be back.

Us and the children love this restaurant, they always choose it for their birthdays! Great variety of choices, never leave hungry (if you do its your own fault), and prices are decent. Will continue to come for family occasions!

Dirty place looked like only the tables had been wiped down left over food built up along the side of the table. Service was poor server was walking all over with empty hands asking people if they wanted refills and not getting them. Food tasted like it came out of a can pasta was soggy only children like soggy noodles. Will never go back full price would eat McDonalds over this place any day.

Really nice place to eat. Vibrant environment. Hockey on the TV, everything on the menu that my family and I were looking for. Drinks were good. No complaints at all. Fairly priced considering todays climate. 100% recommend to all. Kid-friendliness: Nice little kids pack with crayons. Mine were very satisfied with their experience. Even asked if we could go again. Cant say better than that.

We love coming here when we are in Regina. We love the food the service and the atmosphere. All the staff seem to enjoy being there and the food is quick hot and oh so good.

What made this visit, was our waitress. She was awesome. Food was great also, of course.

I came here with my 11 month old to meet up with some family for supper. I had a salad to start and found a beetle of some kind on the lettuce in my dish. Not only was I eating this but as was my baby! I didn t have time to snap a picture because the waitress was right there and took it away so fast. We were refunded 50% of our meal but that did not make up for not hearing an apology from anyone. The waitress literally took the dish away without saying sorry. I wasn t sure if I d be refunded until the end of our meal. I also ordered a 10 pepperoni pizza well done and it came soggy. At that point I wasn t interested in drinking my water let alone eating anyway. Our waitress said the dishes she was holding were very hot and then held every dish over my child s head whilst my daughter was in the high chair at the end of the table. She came back, said the same thing and did it again. I spoke up and asked her politely to not hold the hot dish over my babies head. I also want to add that this is not a very kid friendly establishment, especially around supper time. It s so loud, dimly lit and there was no room for people to walk past my child s highchair at the end of the table. It was my first time going to an East Side Mario s and I won t be trying this location again.

Its fine. The food is alright and arrived fairly quickly. The service was okay. The price is not too bad. The restaurant is noisy. There was no wait for a table, which was nice. Overall, its decent, but nothing crazy great. Just an alright time.

Recently has the worst experience here. With a large group of people being there for more than 1 hour for lunch, I order steak with Parmesan fried with unlimited soup and salad. During the entire lunch I order hot served a tomato soup and the bowl was left there unclean and never offered anything else or refill of water, while my fellow diner got served. I guess they unconsciously discriminate color people. For the same price, you would better go to Olive Garden.

Food and service was great, fast to replace the free bread. Everything was on par! Will be back.

Today, my mother and myself stopped in to have a wonderful lunch. This was my first time going to an East Side Marios! We ordered the all you can eat soup, salad and bread. I have NEVER been so disappointed in the service received. The waitress didnt come back to our table to check on us to see if we required more soup or bread. We actually had to flag down another waitress. She brought my mother another bowl of soup. We had to ask another waitress for more bread. I waited 15 minutes to get our orginal waitress to bring me another bowl of soup. She NEVER asked if we wanted more bread with our meal. Instead of sitting behind your back counter looking around. Maybe make sure your customers are looked after. I am not from Saskatchewan. I will probably not stop at this restaurant again!
