The Copper Kettle Restaurant in Regina

I first want to say that usually, I am very pleased with Ohanlons/Copper Kettle but after todays experience I highly doubt I will spend another dollar at either establishment. My colleagues and I decided to order lunch from Copper Kettle today, we made our order online at 11:00AM and chose a pick up time for 12:15PM. I arrived to pick up our order (only 5 items) and upon arrival a waitress asked me if she could help. I explained I was there to pick up an online order. She said she would go check. I watched her attend several tables, attend to the bar, pour a beer for a customer, take food and drinks to her tables and never saw her go back and check on our pick up order. After waiting for 10 minutes I asked someone else about my order. After waiting nearly 5 more minutes a fellow (who was very kind and respectful) came out and told me the order was not prepared. He apologized and said it would take about 20 minutes to have the order ready. After waiting nearly 20 minutes I was quite frustrated and I did explain that this was unacceptable and that almost my entire lunch break had been spent waiting for our food. A few minutes later, a woman came out (I assume the owner or maybe a manager) and gave a very half-assed apology and blamed the weather and the fact it is their busiest day of the year for our order getting missed and not being made. She explained she could offer a 50% discount but that was the most she could do without working for me for free. I tried to relay to her that we placed our order over an hour before the scheduled pick up time and that if they are as busy as she says, they shouldnt be accepting orders or advise there would be a bit more of a wait and that it is entirely unacceptable that this happened and she was not taking accountability or ownership of their screw up. She then made a snarky comment about how working from home is so much easier and people just come downtown when theyre working from home and expect to be catered to and that I just needed to be a bit more flexible. Not only do I not work from home, but even if I did, I have no clue what that has to do with anything. I show up to my job each and every day and if I screw up, I dont try make excuses and I take ownership and do whats needed to make it right. My entire lunch break was wasted sitting in the front entrance waiting for my food, but yes I need to be more flexible and not be upset? Never have I ever experienced such rudeness and lack of responsibility from a manager or owner of a dining establishment. The complete lack of empathy and incredibly poor customer service skills of this person made an already bad situation even worse and because of her actions and complete lack of ownership I will not be frequenting either establishment in the future and doubt my colleagues will either. I expect more from a business that has been around as long as they have been. Super disappointing.

We happened here while walking and we couldnt have chosen a better restaurant to change from the usual hamburger and steak menu. Absolutely to try the mai tai, fabulous, its been a long time since I drank one so good. Also really very good food, absolutely recommended restaurant

Still pretty good pizza. Im kind of pissed today. I know xenos like myself generally expect alot of Romain...fine, but twice Ive ordered the Greek salad as advertised and there wasnt 1 Greek olive, Kalamata, tasteless canned or otherwise. I feel a bit cheated.

Well my wife was mad at me and to be honest she loves chicken wings more than roses. I ordered 2 lb of hot wings, they were fresh hot big wings. Copper Kettle you saved my butt last night. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Regina. Last time I tried vegetable lasagna and I enjoyed it so much! Each time I m satisfied with the service. The price is average or even low comparing to the portions. I recommend to try this place and their pizzas! Vegetarian options: Go with the vegetarian lasagna! You re not gonna regret!

Fantastic food! Lamb chops were perfect. New York striploin was cooked perfectly. The lemon potatoes were moist and delicious. Victoria, our server was prompt, helpful, friendly and warm. She added to the great atmosphere. Try the smoked old fashioned. It s no gimmick. Try the Honey Sanbal wings! Saucy and spicy! Parking: Paid parking during the day, free at night, check meter for details.

Stopped by for a dinner at this place after reading reviews. What a disappointment! Souvlaki were burned outside (to black charcoal) and a bit raw inside. Look for another place - downtown has other options available.

Beautiful restaurant in a prime downtown location. Family friendly and our server was amazing with the kids. Food was on point and every item we tried was delicious.

Views of Downtown Regina, pizza is on bowl it was good and we had pepperoni pizza with toppings of pepperoni.

Hardly anyone was in the restaurant. We were seated. She Left... then came back 5 min later for a drink order.. left, 5 min later took food order.... got coffees not once asked us if we needed more coffee... lady cleaned the table beside me and sprayed me with a cleaning product. She said sorry, fine.. but then we sat with our food done... finally got up and left and went to the counter to pay as she never came with the bill.... its the Craziest thing I have ever seen in a restaurant, especially when there were like maybe 3 tables

We always have loved the Copper Kettle. This time, my wife and I went for a late lunch, and it was amazing, including the service! Love the Taziki sauce!!!

Friendly and fast. Had Us in and out before the game. Pizzas looked good, but we just grabbed a couple appetizers. Both were very tasty.

The Drunken Mussels are great. My wife and I dont like very much salt with our food, so I spoke with the chef on a previous visit, and he assured me that each dish is prepared fresh and individually every time to the customers specifications as requested. We asked the server this time for a reduced amount of salt on our Linguini Pollo Mondo, and it was delicious. This was the third time there in the last 3 weeks, and we will definitely be going back regularly. The Belgian Moon draft beer was the best draft beer I have had in a very long time. My wife loves the cheesecake with strawberry drizzle.

Great visit, waitress was fantastic, quick service, food tasted wonderful. I enjoyed my visit.

This is an interesting place. They have a great pizza but also serve Greek dishes. Their mussel appetizer had great reviews by my friends. Service is prompt and friendly. Kitchen appears shared with the Irish pub next door so the delivery can be backed up and slow during peak times. Thank you management and staff.

The food was good but the place is fairly dirty, like the table and chairs still have crumbs when we arrive and the floor was very dirty and service was a bit slow because only one server serving multiple tables. The kids menu was a bit pricey with no drinks included.

I don t have more than 5 stars to give. This is perhaps the best Greek Restaurant in Regina. Great food, great service & great ambience. I almost eat 2 days a week every week here. love the food & service. Portions are great. Almost always had to box the food. Special thanks to George. He is beyond words. Food was good and tasty. The service was prompt despite a large hockey team group coming in last minute. The space got a bit noisy which wasn t great for our group. We had someone with an accessibility need and they rely on their hearing a lot.

The Copper Kettle provided an excellent dining experience at an affordable price, which is a rare find these days. I highly recommend this restaurant will refer it to others. Good pub food, with some greek influence. The lemon chicken soup was great.

First time eating at this establishment and I was very disappointed. Had the burger and fries. Fries were cold and was disappointed they were not made in house. The burger came out cold on a soggy bun, I couldnt even pick it up, assuming the mayonaisse on the bottom and it sitting in the window to long caused this problem, hence the cold fries. The burger was very over cooked and although the Pattys themselves appear to be made in house, they were formed and cooked in away they plumped up into a ball and with 2 of them on the bun it was awkward, messy and a challenge to eat. In the 3 hours we were there I managed to order 3 drinks, 2 of them made it. Everyone else in our party did not seem overly impressed with their meal. For a Saturday night dining experience at a restaurant that supposedly has a good reputation, the quality and consistency that came from the chef and cooks working that night was a huge let down.

We ordered meals for meeting for Knight Archer Insurance. The food was awesome. Best homemade gluten free pizza crust in Regina! And the rest of the food was fantastic too! I ordered Pizza and the price was not what was quoted over the phone...Pizza was more than quoted and there was a delivery fee on the bill that wasnt disclosed. Driver witheld the price until i paid... then the delivery fee came out. No, it didnt break me, but I didnt like feeling as though the pricing was a shell game. Called the restaurant and they offered a partial refund, which I appreciated and refused. The lady I spoke to seemed like she was an owner, and was honest and upfront, saying she would address with staff which I appreciated. To recap...food was good...and they owned the issue I brought forward. Id order again but would be wary of the pricing on delivery.

I was a part of a group of around 15 work colleagues. Other than us, I saw only 3-4 other people at the restaurant. The food was mediocre. The dessert (baklava) was exceptionally bad: too sweet with too much cinnamon.

Food was great but the service was terrible. I came in when it was slow (only 1 other table) and it felt like I was neglected the whole time. One of the waitresses family was sitting at a table nearby and the kids were on their phones with movies playing with full volume on. It was really annoying.

Pizza was incredible, one of the best we ve ever had, haven t been to copper kettle since Robert and Maria owned it (hope I got that right) service was good, server was friendly and prompt, atmosphere lost a star due to the table close to us probably should have been next door at ohanlons, no fault of anyone just kinda took away from the ambience, aside from that we sat at the far end table and when people go out for a smoke it wafts inside and smells something terrible. Will try again but will be more mindful of where we are seated A-.

We order from here regularly good food but this past Friday January 28th 2024 at approximately 7:00 pm I phoned to place an order for the delivery.The man that answered and took my order was so unbelievably cocky and condescending throughout the entire phone call.A lot of restaurants are struggling right now and would appreciate the business with polite courtesy service ..maybe it s time to take our business elsewhere if I encounter this again from this restaurant..taking my business elsewhere is exactly what I will be doing.I was nothing but kind and polite throughout tje phone call so absolutely no excuses for that man to have an attitude like he did. The person I spoke to was 100 percent a man ( I know the difference between a man and a woman)..it was not a female and the man I spoke to was not a person with English as a second language he understood me perfectly ..definitely no issues with language..he very much sounded like a caucasian man with a fairly deep voice. Busy or not no reason to be condescending to a customer and I repeat it was a situation where the MAN on phone that with no accent of any kind that I talk to spoke and understood perfect english ..he knew very well what he was doing which was being rude. Thank you for the response but you lost big points when you tried to change what I experienced in the phone call and the narrative of what happened it s insulting to try and do so.

The atmosphere was good and welcoming. The service was great and the food was delicious.

We went for lunch on a Sunday and had a very good experience. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the Spanikopita to start, which was delicious! We both had the linguini and meatballs for our main and unfortunately the pasta wasnt very good. There was hardly any sauce and the meatballs tasted...odd...they were quite dry and werent seasoned very well. We will definitely be back for the Spanikopita but probably wont choose the pasta again.

We ordered a turkey Christmas Eve supper and WOW! Delivered on time, hot and so good! Everything was made from scratch, incredibly generous portions. We were able to get to packaged for a family (versus individual portions) which also saved a lot of time and dishes. Leftovers for the next few days as they sent so much, and so yummy! Totally recommend!

We had the pleasure of eating at this establishment last night. We had a variety of dishes from Greek Ribs, Steak and Seafood and it was ALL delicious. We lucked out and had the manager serving us and he was amazing. He selected a couple of great wines with our meals and came back to make sure we were 100% satisfied. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back here to eat again. Dietary restrictions: The manager made sure that the meals we ordered met any restrictions OR preferences we had. My husband does not like white wine sauce but wanted the Shrimp and Scallop Fettuccine. The manager switched it by providing a Marinara sauce which was FANTASTIC.

Christmas Eve dinner was fantastic. The food is spectacular and the service amazing.

Our server was absolutely fantastic. Drinks and food could not have been better! Dietary restrictions: My sister is vegan and they were very accommodating and she absolutely LOVED the eggplant parm, there was a little too much oil for her personally but said it was fantastic anyhow.

We decided to try a new place for supper tonight. I called in the order at 3:30 and to be delivered by 6:30. We got our food at 6:50pm and it was not very hot. No pop was offered especially with an order that big. We ordered the combo for 4, pizza and finger food. I just found for the price I paid it wasn t that good. I would have to think before I order from here again.

I ordered a pizza last week and it was amazing. The crust was thick but not heavy, and crunchy. There was a homemade taste to it and it was full of flavor. This week, the pizza toppings were awesome but the crust was flat and heavy. I would give my two recent experiences 5/10. Parking: There was no parking at 5pm.

The only thing good was the quick divery. Meal came with everything all lumped together, fish on top of lemon potatoes and vegies so everthing tasted like fish, fish was also over cooked. The greek salad was not traditional, it was a greek country salad, didnt expect a lettuce salad and it came without the dressing. Driver had to come back with some. Garlic toast was only toasted on one side and they missed adding garlic butter. In all a tv dinner would have been better and less costly.

I ve gone here twice and both times it was a 10/10 experience. The food is just amazing and the service is really good too. I would definitely go here a third time.

Superb veggie burger!!

The food is great but it does take awhile to get your food once you order it. I assume its because a lot of it is being made fresh. The service for me here is hit or miss. Some days its fantastic other times, its very brisk and they dont seem to have time for you or make silly mistakes like giving you cutlery 10min after your meal arrives. Good atmosphere best for a leisurely lunch or dinner not a quick one. Menu favorites include the spinach and feta pizza, and the chicken soup.

Horrible food and service! Had a group of over 20 people and they automatically added an 18% gratuity for a big group (which is perfectly fine when deserved). They only came around once to offer drinks, empty water on the table and they were quick to give us our bill. It felt like they wanted us out of there as quick as possible! Will NEVER go again!

My first time ever in Regina, I was taken here for lunch. The place is easily accessible from City Hall where my business was being conducted. Initial observations of the place was quite welcoming. Clean, not overcrowded but not overly standing out. I was not hungry so i ordered the chefs salad. It was fresh and the serving was quite large. Over all nice experience and good food. Will definitely come here again if I return to Regina.

Two visits in the space of 10 days. One in dining room and the other at lunch in the bar. Shared a tasty pizza. A delish small ceasar salad. The lunch was a chicken avocado wrap with a signature lemon soup. So good and enough for take away. The service suited the times of day And service was excellent. Parking: Downtown location. Paid parking $2.00.per hour or use the City of Regina App. After 6pm parking is free.

Great local business to support! We love getting the pizza and take out platters when we have people over. Food is always delicious and service is great. We once had a pizza delayed on our pick-up, so they added an extra pizza free of charge, since we had to wait longer than expected.

I came to visit the Copper Kettle and ordered some food. The hot wings were exactly how I ordered them. The beer I got was cold. I think this would be a nice place to take a date.

To say that we had one of the best meals ever is an understatement! They had numerous gluten-free options (outside of the usual salmon or salad options). The food was so delicious, perfectly textured, and amazingly cooked, I soaked in every bite! The server was awesome, I had fresh water in my glass within seconds of drinking the final sip. This is officially on my must visit list when I am in Regina again. Vegetarian options: All their vegetarian and gluten-free options are marked, and they had more options available dining-in than shown online. Boy was that a nice surprise, they have good options! Dietary restrictions: The options were more varied than most places offer for gluten-free options, and their vegetarian options looked delicious! Based on the food we had, wowsa! You will not be disappointed! Wheelchair accessibility: A person in a wheelchair came in as we were dining. They and their party were seated at a table, and because it wasnt working ideally, within seconds they were reseated to a more suitable location. They looked comfortable as we left.

Cute little venue with tasteful decorations. The service was very kind. We overstayed an hour and a half without knowing and they were serving us drinks even after closing. The food was good and the smoked whiskey was one of our favourite drinks.

I wish I could order take out and have it over fresh on delivery but this is an epic product that you must try in Sask!

The place is clean. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas. The wait staff are helpful. The food is quick. The food is good. They have a sizable selection of pizza. The prices are reasonable.

We were starting to become regulars with our pickup orders. We would always get the Greek platter for two. We would also travel from Craven (30min drive). The food is amazing but we werent to happy with our service. After ordering our platter in the late evening, I sent my partner to pickup. He wasnt aware the platter came with a salad. After returning home we found out our salad was missing. We assumed they were closed because their open sign was off at 9pm and doors were locked. He had to be let in to get our order. A few days later we ordered again and asked if they could give us another salad to replace the one we never got, but they refused. We even described the girl working that night she forgot our salad. Nope they wouldnt budge. Its unfortunate that they lost us as customers because of a salad. Better hope they dont forget part of your order because they wont accommodate you for next time. Thats money we lost out of our pockets.

The service was bad, the food was blha, the cocktails were terrible, the plates were dirty. But i guess the place known for their pizza and i didnt try that. Feels like regular fast food place that trying to be more than it is and over charge you for nothing. I wont come back.

Went here for supper on a Saturday and was seated immediately. We had the spanakopita as an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Perfectly flakey and buttery pastry with a tasty filling. For our entrees we had the salmon/rice and the chicken/lemon potatoes. I was surprised to receive a quarter of a chicken! Everything was seasoned wonderfully and the potatoes and veggies were divine. Great value, I needed a to go box to take home leftovers. This is a hidden gem and we would definitely return to try more menu items!

Love their private room space, and the Horiatiki. Service was phenomenal, excellent local little spot. Took home their Sweet Chili Chicken pizza, and Italian pizzas and both were excellent. Thanks for hosting our group today!

First of all we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and chill atmosphere. Soft lighting, pleasant music that is not overpowering so you can actually enjoy conversation. Friendly and timely service, perfectly paced food delivery. Highly recommend the dolmathes on the appetizer menu, our whole family also enjoyed the croquettes. Seafood pasta was beyond my expectations. The seafood could not have been more perfectly cooked. The souvlaki was wonderful as well, and again the chicken was cooked to perfection. My husband said that this was the way tzatziki was meant to be. Cannot recommend this place more!

The restaurant was fine, good layout and vibes. The food was good. I had Salmon which was tasty and my friends loved their pizzas. I felt though food and drink choices were a bit limited and could be maybe expanded.

Amazing quality, very reasonable prices and generous portions. We had the chicken souvlakis, Greek salad, the Mousaka and everything was so good. Very friendly people that clearly care about their customers experience and preserving the integrity of what they do.

The food was great. I had the steak sandwich with fries and everything was wonderful. The steak was cooked perfectly and there were plenty of mushrooms with it. The fries were crispy and hot, and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The menus could use a revamp, or even just laminating, but the place looked nice and welcoming and clean. My only issue was having to wait about 10 minutes after walking in before I was acknowledged, but Im not subtracting any stars because it was lunchtime on a Sunday and I get it. I was very pleasantly surprised, especially since I only went in on a whim, as the last time Id been there was as a child with my Nanna, around 45 years ago. The photo does not do my meal justice.

We ordered delivery of the pizza and finger foods combo for two and baklava. It was all outstanding and there was more than enough! The baklava was amazing!!! We have been avoiding ordering here because we are about 15 minutes away and thought the food would be cold by the time it arrived. Not at all, and it arrived much sooner than expected. We will definitely be ordering again and look forward to eating in the restaurant as well.

I was with my coworkers for lunch this afternoon and i asked one of the ladies who is working there if there is a place to do my prayer in, and she took me to the second floor of the restaurant to have a quiet time for my prayer. Simple restaurant, but really delicious avocado-balsalmic salad!

Ive been a loyal customer of this restaurant for about 8 years, but my last visit was SO disappointing that I wont be returning. My partner and I arrived to no greeting and waited awkwardly for 7-8 minutes until we physically had to go up to the waitress for their attention to get us a seat (even when the restaurant was totally empty). We were seated but moved due to a large party arriving, which was fine, but the service went downhill from there. We werent allowed the dinner menu until its official start time which was only 30 minutes away, despite being the only customers there. Our steak was cold, medium instead of medium-rare, and the vegetables were undercooked. While dining, the staff was busy moving/dragging the tables and chairs all over the floor for the large party that they were expecting, and they also turned the heating off (or lowered) while we were dining (added on to making our food cold within 10 minutes). They never once checked on us, so we had to steal cutlery from the table next to us for us to have our meal. They only approached us to rush our meal for the bill. Overall, it was the worst customer service Ive experienced at a place I used to love. Very dissapointed.

A great place to hang out for Greek and Western food. Nice ambiance, cozy atmosphere. Calamari is one of the best Ive had in Regina. Seafood pasta is also delicious, creamy and cheesy with an abundance of scallops and shrimps However, was a little disappointed with the gyros. A little lack of flavor , and I found it no difference from other take out or fast food places. Thinking their specialty is Greek cuisine, I definitely had high hope and expectation for their gyros. It is what it is. Also paid a hefty price tag for their beers, $10 for a medium size glass of Belgian Moon The server was nice & attentive. I would come back to sit on their sunny patio.

We love the Copper Kettle. Right downtown, amazing food and service. They have great Greek food and 40 different pizzas to choose from among other items. Its great for dining in, sitting out on the patio or take out. The Greek Salmon was delicious!

This place changed our night. Passed through Regina on our way back home to Winnipeg and had dinner here. The food was authentic, rustic and for me, nostalgic of the hot summer nights eating in Greece with family. The baklava is unforgettable, haven t tasted a dish that perfect since my yiayia was alive. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, the ambiance warm and welcoming. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Nearly $30 for a tiny, salty, lunch meat pizza that had way to much cheese resulting in an over abundance of unappetizing grease. Cheese goes all over the pizza not just the middle. The edges, however we re oozing with way too much pizza sauce even making the crust soggy. Forgot side of ranch then took 10 minutes to get it whilst my mushy pie got even more disgusting. Absolutely terrible food. I ate 1 slice and tossed it out. I want my money back. Do reach out.

Awesome calamari and a great Caesar salad. My dad had a Greek chicken burger that looked amazing. You could tell it was an actual real chicken breast not processed meat.

Had a great experience tonight having the Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner. The food was fantastic, big portions and actually tasted home cooked. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and we would definitely go back. Service was great too, our waiter was very friendly and joked around with us a few times. 10/10

Nice family run Greek restaurant. Who knew that Regina style pizza was a thing but apparently it is. My pizza was really good. Thick crust but crunchy. Other menu items looked good too.

Food was good, tasty, but i specified i am very lactose intolerant. I got served buttered bread with my appetizer. Server never came back to ask how my appetizer was, so when i was waiting for her to come back and get my main order i started to rip the top half off of the toast, and she tried to take the plate away while i was doing so. Offered no apology when i explained what i was doing. Almost got served tzatziki with the main. By the time i was 1/2 done the main i was so gassy and bloated I had to leave, even though she assured me no dairy was involved. (My time at home later beggs to differ) She finally asked if i needed a refil of my water.....as i was getting the bill. Dont think I will be back to try again. Go if you have no problems with food, but if you have allergies Id stay away. I also watched her almost serve another table with a guten free person a regular pizza, luckily she noticed at the last second and came running up to them saying she switched the pizzas by mistake.

Ive been here twice now for work trips. The food is mostly Greek and maybe so Im Italian and Mediterranean? I cant confirm, but what I can tell you is that the Moussaka is delicious! My colleague had the Athenian chicken (stuffed chicken) and looked pretty good. I would consider this to feel like home-cooking while away from home. I also got a smoked old fashioned which was a surprise to see on the menu here. Will definitely come back and if youre not from around Regina, I think youll be happy with the choice.
