This was my first time here. I was seated with a rather large group. The atmosphere really reminded me of an English pub which I liked. For food, my boyfriend ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Burger ($21) with French onion soup ($7.5). I ordered the Bacon Mushroom Swiss Burger ($22) with Truffle Fries ($3), a white sangria ($10.5) and crème brûlée ($8) with strawberry compote for dessert. Prices are before tax and tip. The BBQ Pulled Pork Burger and french onion soup were alright. The sangria was absolutely delicious! I highly suggest it. I absolutely loved the mix of peach, pear and orange juice. The crème brûlée was extremely delicious. Best in Regina. Seriously ! And the Keg charges the same price for a THIRD of what Lancaster is offering. I also think their recipe at Lancaster is better. The truffle fries were decent. They were cold unfortunately but I was with a rather large group so I’m not going to fault them for it entirely. I actually think they would have been awesome if they were cooked a little warmer, a little crispier and didn’t come with the sauce. I prefer a garlic, truffle and Parmesan flavour for the type of fries. The burger itself was actually pretty good. If it had been warmer, I think the patty itself would have been moister. That being say, it tasted fresh. Honestly I was wondering if it was mixed with bison because of the flavour. I throughly enjoy a gamey flavour and this burger had hints of it. Honestly, this burger is very close to being the best burger in Regina that I’ve ever had. I want to return and get a genuine sit down dinner experience with no more than 4 people. This place has the potential to produce the best burger in the city!
Live music venue was nice. Beware of the happy hour specials - classic cocktails are listed as a $5 special but were not in fact $5
Came here with the family on a busy night with trivia night starting later on. My kids enjoyed the free arcade games while we waited for our food. Waiter at the bar was super busy but took time to make sure we were well looked after. Food was so good I even thought about complimenting the cooks in the kitchen. 10 out of 10 will return!
Went for supper last night in downtown Regina. Decided to just walk around until we found somewhere that looked comfortable to us, so we came across Lancasters and I had seen posts online about it, ive seen it on food delivery websites so I said let’s check it out. It’s seat yourself so we sat down. Our waiter bring us waters and then forgot about us for 20 minutes. We ordered and got our food pretty quickly we were satisfied. My partner ordered the smash burger and the ribs and Mac and cheese from the chefs menu. We both started on our sides and about 5 mins after we got our plates my partner bit into his burger and ate two bites and then gave me a bite and I bit into the opposite end and it was RAWWW like RAW GROUND BEEF Still cold almost i was so grossed out. My partner was so upset. Ruined our entire evening our appetite all together. We did not pay for the meals because I didn’t even eat mine as well as my boyfriends was very nasty. We did order two drinks and the server asked us to pay for which we did very nicely. All in all I was pretty disappointed, because it LOOKS NICE in there, but that’s the only nice thing I can say about it .

Went for lunch. Server was excellent! Best service I’ve had in a while. Pretzels are amazing. Our main meals were good and I left quite full! Was pleased with the timing of the food too!
I went here for lunch and enjoyed my meal a lot. The server was a real pro and had a great combo of being friendly and chill while also be super professional. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was terrific! The flavours were great and the portion size was on point. I would totally go back here again! Thanks for a great meal!

I won t go back. The food was mediocre at best. A glass of wine was $16.50 when a bottle costs $10?? A bowl of soup was $15?? No thanks.

Went in late Wednesday afternoon for dinner and a couple drinks with my wife. She had the chicken schnitzel burger and I had the haddock burger. Food came quickly and piping hot. We took advantage of the promos and had a couple drinks each and the total was under $70. We were served by Shen who was quick to refill the drinks and very friendly. Thanks for the good evening.

Cozy place. Manager (John) and the servers are so nice made me feel more comfortable here then my hotel. Recommended lots of places to check out and I did and John was right the places I went too was a hit. The retro arcade was nice touch and the location itself was a good vibe. A local bar I would support often if it was in my city I had the tacos and it was comforting to know they had a variety of local hot sauces So very cool a local bar is supporting other local businesses. Highly recommend as a jump off point to Regina

I ordered a sticky toffee pudding and pepperoni pizza pretzel for delivery (via a third-party food delivery service). The pretzel is okay but the sticky toffee pudding was very disappointing. Its just a flat bread with caramel sauce like I had to look at the receipt to see if its actually a Sticky Toffee Pudding. I was shocked. I feel like they shouldnt even call it a Sticky Toffee Pudding. Its so disappointing.

Had been here for a special occasion and didnt know that they had live music going on...had a fun time and had one of the best pretzels I have ever had along with the best beef dip...highly recommended...also, the prairie beer was top notch

I cannot rate the food because we did not end up eating here. One member of our party has a soy allergy. We asked the employee at the counter if there were options. He had no idea and he did ask the kitchen. However, they basically responded with that they were too busy to come out and talk to us about the menu. This was at around 1 pm on a Thursday. So not the best experience. Dietary restrictions: Kitchen is not willing to discuss allergy safe foods. I would avoid this place if you have any concerns.
We came in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and were underwhelmed by the food. The poached eggs tasted like vinegar, the hash browns were bland, and the overall meal wasn t anything to rave home about. The washrooms don t have any change tables for babies, which isn t ideal for families with little ones.
Menu sounded delicious, but food was disappointing. nachos were a handful of chips, a tiny bit of cheese, then topped with ranch, hot sauce, and salsa. This ensures the chips are a soggy mess after youve eaten a few. Service was great though, neat spot with live music.
These drinks were absolutely incredible! We will definitely go back here on our next visit.
The Lancaster Downtown is a trendy cocktail bar, having music and food arrangements. It is housed in a historic building ( Engineers Building ) on Hamilton Street , built in 1912. Since then, many businesses have been operating here, the most prominent being Loggies Shoes, which existed for over a century. Miscellaneous businesses exist here now, including the Lancaster.

Epic every time I go Lancasters! Food is amazing and I love the few arcade games at the front, always have lots of fun on those. Great drinks and nice and cozy atmosphere. Easily the best pub in Regina to me!
Cocktails and Irish? Pub food. Not a good concept at all. I m surprised this place is still open, there s almost never anyone inside the place.

Bartender charged me for doubles when I asked for a ceaser& told me it was an ounce and a half- which is not a double. I also didn t ask for a double. Dill pickle juice had chunks in it too kinda gross. Definitely not going back.

I heard the Capitol was such a treat of Regina Downtown and was excited to try. The Lancaster is owned by the same people but rebranded from Capitol. Overall, it was okay.

Fine enough place but our service was rough. Good beer and pretty okay food, but we had a server that was abrupt and rude and rushed us out an hour before close.
We initially came here for a quiz which had been unexpectedly cancelled but the staff here were so incredibly accommodating and friendly that we stayed for food and a few more drinks and I am glad we did, as this is such a great venue to visit while in Regina!

The place was small. It had retro arcade games from the 90s. The staff were friendly. The food great and worth the money. The app fries was good and plenty. The steak was okay a bit too salty. The smash pats were great.

I wanted to love this place, it has such cool ambience, like something Bourdain wouldve loved. Bartender was great, food was not - mussels arrived cold and the gnocchi were mediocre at best.

Super experience my first time here! Had the Sweet Smokey Chicken and it was amazing! Super garlic mashed potatoes and perfectly fried vegetables completed the meal perfectly. The atmosphere here is so relaxing and just feels like a place I could spend a few hours! Ill definitely come back for a date night soon.

The good...trendy spot and atmosphere. The bad...over priced, 9 oz of wine shouldnt be $18. Upkeep on the place isnt where it should be, paint chips and dings on walls. Drinks made with missing ingredients, Moscow mule without ginger beer is just a vodka lime. Live music on a Saturday night shouldnt be over at 9:30.
Get the beef dip for lunch. Just do it. Great staff and bartenders.
Visited the Capitol during Mexican night. The decor was tattered Mexican banners. Had a decent ambiance of a Mexican restaurant. They offered authentic Mexican food, but it was not the greatest. Other people in our party concurred the food was not the greatest. The drinks and food were priced about par as other places in the area. Not sure if I would visit again or not as the place was just meh.

Was looking forward to a lovely evening out with Nourish fundraiser for Creative Kids. Celebrating Mothers Day and my Mothers Birthday. Everyone at our table was disappointed with the main - steak and when I sent mine back was served a steak sandwich cut instead on a cutting board.
Used to be my favorite place for lunch in the city. Great local beers, specials, burgers and best beef dip in the city. They also make their own ketchup thats freakin good. I feel the service and personality isnt what it used to be. They made changes to the menu that took away some great items. Still good just no longer my favorite.

Visited for lunch primarily for the extensive wine list and good food. Booth and table seating in the cellar of an old sandstone building (daylight windows). Usually on-street parking available near corner of 5th and Main streets. Nice regional wine list with good range of prices to fit most occasions. Menu items names after Idaho or Boise notable persons but explained in detail. Great barley soup and salads. Attentive service.$$-$$$.

Its a lovely place. The staff are fairly prompt and polite. The food was good. My only issue was my jambalaya had a very strong tomato and salt overtone. My partner said their food was very good. Ill be back again.

Traveled to Regina for work and stumbled upon Capitol restaurant downtown. Absolutely fantastic down to earth service. Shout out to Joel for the great service and recommendations. I had the tuna appetizer and a Rebellion cerveza style, all local and he was 100% right. Highly recommend checking them out and Ill definitely be back when Im in town. Great job!
I came here for brunch and bottomless mimosas and they don t have champagne. I mean seriously who screwed up so bad that they don t have champagne for all you can drink mimosas. Very upsetting. The guy said any other Saturday they have champagne and mimosas. Very disappointed with this as I was really looking forward to this.

When your Caesar says pickle in the menu, it shouldnt come with a pepper. And when I ask for the pickle, you should have a pickle. Didnt try the food.
Its small but mighty! Super comfortable atmosphere. Theyre making some great dishes here, and the drinks are on point. I cant wait to try Mexican night on Thursdays. With friendly staff, good food, good drink, its certainly worth hitting up more than once.
