If you want the taste, their shawarma is the best in town and cheap price as compared to other stores Edit 2024: The owner changed and the taste is no where close to what they had before, taste still good, but not as good as before.

They often throw in a small soup with my donair, its so good! Love this spot

Vegetarian options: This style of cuisine is very vegetarian friendly. Lots of veggies and again, the falafel is very good! Parking: Small parking lot, just due to the area though.

Great place to grab some donair or shawarma! Very clean. Theyve got a couple of tables if you want to sit down too. Vegetarian options: Theyve got falafel for protein, and lots of veggies for your wrap or platter.

Only thing that didnt impress me was the fact that cheese was an extra charge.

I order delivery from this place. It was all presentable and reasonably priced, but lacking in taste. The hummus was tahini heavy and lacking garlic. The garlic sauce doesn t pack a big garlic punch, which I personally enjoy. The food and everything was fresh, and they even gave a little complimentary soup with my order, so this tells me the service here is good. All good, just wanted more flavours and spices.

Had my first meal here tonight it was chicken and lamb and I can tell you it was absolutely spectacular. The hotel I was staying at nearby didn t even mention the place and thankfully everything else I wanted to go to was closed so I went down on a little adventure and the food was absolutely ridiculously tasty so highly recommended.

Stopped here for the first time today. The guy working was very polite and explained everything to us. We got the regular wraps and a couple drinks. It was delicious. So far best place that we have found in town. Will definitely be back!

Great little place. Donair meat was great. I got mine with the sweet sauce and I was hoping it would be the Halifax donair style sauce. It wasnt but it was still good. If they served the donair with that sauce it would be a 5 star.

I really don t know what to say. I miss the old Wascana I used to have back in the days. I have included before pictures (on the plate) and the one I just had today. The quantity is so less now that it sucks. The taste isn t too bad, it s nice and fresh. We liked and enjoyed it. However, the taste before was wayyy to good and the quantity was so much! Please add more quantity if possible. Because you guys can do well.

The falafel was dry, the pita was not wrapped properly. Everything was dry old and tasteless. I do not recommend.

Got a lamb and beef donair. Definitely was stuff with meat. I went with tzaiki and chili garlic sauce and it was awesome.

All food is Halal. Food is tasty and delicious. I prefere Mixed Shawerma platter. It is suitable for 2-3 persons. It includes beef donair, chicken donair, lamb donair, 1 skew of chicken kebeb, 1 skew of beef kebab and rice and greek salad as well as a good deal of fries. I like yogurt salad and hummus. The owners were so kind to me at lunch today, and the food was to die for, I gotta say the donair that i had today has to be the best i ve ever had. They have a sort of almond and honey dessert thing 10/10 wow. Parking: there is about 10-12 decent sized spots, easy access to albert st. Kid-friendliness: the owners are so kind and they have kids menu options. Wheelchair accessibility: there are no stairs and can be accessed by wheelchair.

First off, someone owes me $3. The skip guy forgot my drink. Alright, so as far as the food goes, it wasnt gross or anything; I still ate it. But that wasnt a shawarma... period. That was cooked chicked that probably sat in marinade all day in the oven. Real shawarma is shaved off the rotisserie. It was open on both ends, which was very messy, even with the tin foil, they were pretty light on the toppings; especially the turnips, and even though i ordered garlic paste and himus, it was barely there. Again, it wasnt horrible, it just wasnt good enough to order from again. Ahh well.

It was our first time dining there ,we went to different Donairs ..but Wascana Is an excellent place to go.The place is clean,and the owner/server is awesome. I ordered two Signature Chicken Shawarma meals which on Uber eats states that it comes with fries. it came with no fries as well as rotten soggy lettuce and there was almost no sauce on it when we ordered 3 different sauces. The food was absolutely disgusting and bland and with a misleading advertisement about what we were getting. Would NEVER order from here again

I would have given a 0 star if possible. The most misleading image of a food item I have ever seen. The item description for the mixed sharwma tray mentioned for 3-4 people, but there was not even enough meat for 2 people. The worst delivered food I have ever experienced. I paid 60$ for this, what a joke. Maybe get a proper measure for peoples meal before you out something like that in the menu. Update: They gave me a gift card and the manager and cashier both expressed their sorrow. Got the large lamb and chicken wraps, both tasted great but i liked the lamb one better. And dont order the tray from UberEats, they charge you a whopping 60$ plus tax lol. Get it from them directly.

Its says its a donair place but I dont think what I got was a donair. It sure didnt taste like a donair. Its was basically cold and without any flavor. I wont be going back here again. Go to Prairie Donair instead. They know whats going on.

The best. Ordered falafal platter for the first time today and they by mistake forgot to add rice. I called them and instead of arguing like most of the restaurants do, they DELIVERED another platter and were super nice. The food was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Best donair shop in the city! Unreal value and extremely good food. The owner overheard my friend say he wanted to come back and try the falafel, 5 mins later he brought some out to our table!! So nice of him to do that, and they were so good - while it was the first time I ve ever tried falafel, my friend said they were the best he s ever had. We will be regulars here for sure.

Best shawarma sandwich I ate in my life

After a long day I came to Wascana for what would later be known as the greatest falafel ever. When I arrived I realized it was too late. They were closed. However, I was not dejected for too long as Omar came to the door and could see the hunger burning deep within me. He reopened the restaurant and made me a killer falafel. I was so hungry and it was such good food. Really good. I basically came to Regina for this experience alone. Thanks Omar you are a boss.

There is always a difference when a restaurant owner has passion and puts love, care, and attention into their food! The food here is crazy delicious!!! The rice platter is cooked with beautiful spices combined with their homemade Garlic and Hot sauce, it is a blast of flavor I never imagined! I havent had rice like this anywhere in my travels. Do yourself a favor!

I was staying at a hotel nearby. I was looking for quick bite for dinner and decided to give Wascana a try. The food prices were very reasonable and they accepts credit card. I ordered the beef donair and it was made fresh in front of me. The donair sauce was good and not too sweet. The staff was very friendly.
