This is a hidden gem in Regina. They specialize in southern Indian cuisine (dosas). Make sure to take some treats home after your meal. Vegetarian options: All dishes are vegetarian, and some are vegan. Parking: It is recommended you park at the Cornwall centre.

I wish i could give no star for writing this review we went here and no staff shows up we ordered dahi puri chole bhature chaat and noodle everything was below average and noodles were way too oily when i told the staff she started shouting on me and said you don t have to tell me how was it if you want to eat you can if don t like it don t eat it we have nthg to do with it. Staff need to have better attitude

You likely shouldn t eat at this restaurant or order takeout as they allow customers to enter the restaurant through their back door. This means they are walking through or standing in the kitchen. Scary! Also, they advertise back-door pick up but use their 2 spots for their own vehicles. This means the customers picking up orders are squatting in other peoples private parking spots. This means that they are not good neighbours either.

Good gujarati food taste. Tried Dosa as well, taste good. Good portion size for the price.

First of all i wanted to give 2 but gave three stars becoz its my first and it will be my last order from this restaurant. I ordered from other restaurants in regina so my review is based on that. Chana bature puri is small but tastes ok. Parantha is thin crust and small and its a waste of money. Jalebi is not fresh and its like eating crispy sugar. Samosa has excess oil.Masala dosa is terrible and there is hardly potato inside. Overall my honest rating is 2 out of 5 stars . And I will not recommend to my friends. As a customer I will suggest you to improve the quality not the quantity.

I placed an order online from their website. I was showed the total amount with tax at the checkout and I got the receipt in my email which also included a tip by default. This is just wrong, I was never informed about any tip that is included by default and I was never showed the tip amount during checkout.

Ordered couple items on skip the dishes. Some of them were so disaster in terms of taste. The panner burger patty was literally frozen inside ( I dont blame the weather cause the food temperature was perfect ) probably that was an overnight patty. I had high expectations from them indeed they proved me wrong

I was mislead and scammed! I called and they told me they had a lunch buffet. I showed up for it and they dont have it. She said they have Thali and its the same thing. You get 2 dishes of their choosing and can keep getting refills of those dishes. Only, she refused to come back to my table to see if I wanted more. I smiled at first and get her attention. I waved at her. She just smiled back and walked away. Then I went up to the counter to ask for more and she said I should try again next time and ask before ordering. She tried to act confused and said she was shocked that 2 small bowls didnt make me full and thats why she wont give me more. Scammed!

I like their food. I found that their food is very fresh and they are having up to the mark service too, but I feel their price doesn t justify the quantity of food. Low quantity and high price. I also experienced that their paneer parathas are not fresh, I felt it was frozen parathas which they fry only at their place, we could buy those from the market with low price. Although, over all they serve good and fresh food.

Had been at Akshar last week. Had khasta kachori chat and vada pav. It was awesome. I have number of times taken their tiffin also and the food is tasty and home like. Will keep going there and will tell others to do that too. All the best Ashwin bhai and Vanita bhabhi.

It was a take out order. Ordered noodles which had no or very less salt. Also ordered gravy manchurian, but when I opened it, it was all dry, there was no gravy. To my surprise, when I called, the guy I spoke to (owners son) told, the gravy dried as I consumed it after 1.5 hours. Imagine if you buy a gravy or curry item and take home and it dries. I even told him it does not make sense and its not possible what he is saying, but he was not in a mood to understand.

First time visiting the restaurant. The food and service was good. The staff was very welcoming. Felt like eating and sitting in India it was a nice clean ambiance.had bhendi masala and roti. Just felt like the bhendi masala was little oily would ask for less oil next time. Other wise taste was great. Had Rabdi for sweet it was yummy . The cheese dosa was also good not oily or buttery. My son totally loved it.Overall nice experience Would definitely visit again and recommend to visit!

I had ordered dhokla and raagda patties Through skip the dish. Dhokla are so soft and tasty i felt like im having the dhokla somewhere in india. Quantity is good compared to the price.

OH MY GOD This is by far the best South Asian food Ive ever had. I usually judge Indian food on the quality of their tamarind sauce and it was so good I could probably drink it - thick but not clumpy, tangy, and flavorful. The papdi chaat was fantastic. The crisps were the perfect texture and everything blended together so well. I would also recommend their shahi paneer. It was spicy enough but not overly spicy for my white a$$ lmao

I don t know a lot about this type of Indian food but what we ate was delicious. There are good vegan options, ask your server for help finding them. The food was served quickly at lunch and the price is super reasonable.

Good Experience. Ordered Schezwan Puff, Pavv Bhaji, Spring Dosa and Manchurian Noodles. Ambiance was decent and food arrived fast. Schezwan Puff (5/5) : Pure authentic Indian Chinese Taste. Spring Dosa (5/5): Very well cooked and stuffed. Great Taste. Pavv Bhaji (4/5): Being a Pavv Bhaji lover felt it was really good. A little more flavour and spicy would have been a 5 star rating. Manchurian Noodles(2.5/5) : was well cooked but no flavours at all. No taste of Indian chinese was found. Was quite shocked after how the schezwan puff tasted.

With Takeout order no cutlerys. I ordered Dabeli and Vadapav combo. No taste ever also Manchurian in no taste ever.

To however picked call in store you should know when someone paid around 10 dollars in delivery and tips plus a $ extra on each item he either dont want to or cant drive to your store for one missing item. Ordered from them via UberEATS. Just got cholle when ordered cholle bhature. So called the store to ask and they said we put them in but they havent. Never apologized for inconvenience but they insist they have it all. Dhokla was 5/5. So good Pav bhaji. 4/5 little too oily. But suits my taste Shahi paneer was ok 3/5 Cholebhature 0/5 as i havent got anybhature

I have been living in Regina for 9 years and have tasted food at almost all indian restaurants. I usually do not write reviews but I want to this time as it might help some one. I do not know how did they got 4+ rating. This is worst restaurant i have been to. Serving is too late. food is worst. not even one good thing.

I cant describe in words the feeling of pure joy I felt on dining here. I live in Saskatoon where, unfortunately, we dont really have a place that serves good south Indian food. We tried a few different things here, and we were not disappointed. The Mysore masala dosa was very good, and quite reasonably priced. The veg Manchurian and chole puri were really good too. The uttapam was a bit on the dry side, but still very good. We ordered the Dahi chaat also which was awesome. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Please do open a branch in Saskatoon.

I often get lunch from here as it s right across and food is decent. However, last visit didn t impress. Ordered food and it was uncooked, went back to let them know, Instead of making new one just refried the food again and made it very oily and killed the taste of the food also used same container same paper bag instead of new one. I also own food franchise and have policy if you won t eat the food you can t serve to customer. I don t really care if it was same container or bag but that s where our Indian restaurant fails at customer service. When restaurant being at fault they should have just made new one and be professional and give new container so it looks like you are at least tried to correct your mistake. Very disappointed, guess what you just lost a customer. There are 100s of food place here to satisfy my hunger.

Bad and slow service!

I tried their different dished for lunch and dinner in last few months. It was really good, like beyond my expectations. I ve been to this restaurant after the first visit because I loved their food so much! taste and quality wise no doubt it s the best the staff is very attentive and friendly as well! they always ask if we need anything. i also want to say a huge thank you to the chef because the dishes were so delicious. 5/5 . If you love Indian food you must try this restaurant.

This was my first time ever ordering from this place and i ordered through their online ordering system to arrive at the location and they just didn t seem to know my order or have it ready at all after already waiting 30 minutes to pick it up, they did not apologize at all for the inconvenience, the girl giggled and told me i d have to sit and wait even longer for my order.
