Stopped by for a warm lunch on a cold day. Great food, accommodating to requests and fabulous atmosphere.

The pork rice was great. Super tender and moist pork belly.

Great pho, the broth is perfect! The owners were so kind.

Best Noodle Bowl !!

Kept hearing about The Rice Guy so we decided to finally check it out. So glad we did! The food and service was amazing. Good portions, fresh and flavourful ingredients. The restaurant was really clean and inviting. We enjoyed everything! Make sure to try the Vietnamese iced coffee! Highly recommend The Rice Guy, we can t wait to go back and try more.

I just had the pleasure of ordering the #10 on the menu Phô beef for pick up. The restaurant looked so inviting and authentic I wish I could have stayed. I ll definitely be going for dine in next time. Now back to the Phô, I was super impressed with the presentation. The items for my soup all came separately. I really enjoyed putting all my ingredients together. All in all 10/10 See you again real soon The Riceguy!

The food and service was excellent! They serve delicious tea instead of just plain water and the prices are very reasonable! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to a beautiful restaurant without having to break the bank!

As stated before, fresh, authentic, clean atmosphere. Very tasty broth for their phos. Value is great compared to other choices on that block that come off more trendy than big flavors, which this place delivers in spades. Loved the little french cuisine techniques. Great gem

Hands down my new favourite place for vermicelli bowls and fresh rolls! Fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The owner served us during our visit and was very friendly and attentive. Such a wonderful gem to have in the downtown. Highly recommended!

The pho is cooked very well and suits the taste. Hue beef noodle soup is beyond criticism. Beautiful space, fresh flowers, cannot be faulted. Vietnamese coffee is exactly my taste. Parking behind the shop. Eat once and want to eat again. Indescribably delicious!

I went here for lunch. The only gluten free option is a shrimp and avocado fresh roll with fish sauce for dipping, which I ordered. It was very fresh tasting, but it had very little flavour as did the sauce. I suppose somewhat to be expected without soy sauce or peanut dipping sauce. I wouldnt return, but the other meals looked good and the new decor looks clean and modern. I would recommend for those who can eat gluten.

Parking: East street parking out front Kid-friendliness: My two children found multiple options they would eat and discovered a new soup they like.

The Pho was delicious and the lemongrass chicken vermicelli was maybe even better. The service was friendly while the restaurant is very attractive and clean. Definitely a go to spot for Vietnamese food in Regina!

One of my favorite restaurants in Regina. Hands down the best Vietnamese food in the city with great service and a beautiful, chic atmosphere - it s a must visit for anyone living in or passing through Regina! (It was formerly a Chinese restaurant under different management - if you came back in the day you ll be greeted by big changes on your next visit!)

Me and my partner go out to eat alot. More than we should, always taking a moment to comment on the food. One such place, East side Marios, used to have good food but the quality has noticeably gone down. So when we went to this place we were blown away by the quality. You could clearly taste the difference in every bite. The Pork Vermicelli had flavorful tender meat and the noodles tasted fantastic but werent heavy. If you like broths, try out the soups, not only was it sublime but you get a nice big bowl for the price you pay. The tea and coffee were such high quality, the whole time we were talking about how much we were impressed by the food and what we liked about each aspect. We almost didnt come here, almost went to somewhere else but very glad we didnt. After the meal, I told the owner that we would be coming back again and put in a good word about their restaurant, the Riceguy.

This restaurants offers an elevated version of Vietnamese food at an affordable price. Food and drinks are exceptional. Ive been here twice and both times I was really impressed (and Im used to Vietnamese food). The owner is wonderful, service is great, and the atmosphere is very tranquil. Highly recommended! P.S. Try the braised pork dish. Its to die for!

Ive gone here multiple of times and called during their business hours as I was told good things, and it was closed. Went yesterday Monday around 1pm and closed. Not sure that they are even open for business, if so consistency would be nice.

Since this has had a new owner, it is truly Vietnamese food styles. Give your try Regina folks & I am sure you will like it. Great customer service, very clean & warm welcome dining space .

This is the restaurant you must try in town. I tried the Beef noodle soup PHO and Spring rolls NEM which was amazing. They both were full of flavor!

The chef Linh (I believe that is the spelling) was just amazing. He really knows how to present a warm welcoming atmosphere with spectacular food. Easily the best Pho in the city. Service was perfect, and the French influences were a wonderful touch. Great price, authentic food, great experience. 10/10

Absolutely SPECTACULAR food, service, atmosphere and dining experience!!!!!! Menu is under slow revision as the new chef (only been opened 1 week with new chef), so please consider this if service is uncertain of certain aspects. Service was timely, considerate and warm. Very European in dining experience with attentive and kind consideration. Clean and organized! Reasonable price considering we got 3 dishes to share among the 2 of us. We wanted to try as much as we could from this authentic menu!!! They also gave us a free tamarind juice, which was refreshing and different! Food was VERY authentic, flavorful and high quality. Chef came out to speak with us and shared his heart and soul connection through food as he told us he was a chef in Paris and Vietnam. Just spectacular experience!!!!! Best authentic Pho and Nem rolls in town! Those are must-try dishes. I really enjoyed the food, service as well as the atmosphere there. Definitely come back soon!

This is the best Vietnamese food experience I ve had so far since I came to Canada. The way they keep the foods as original is a big bonus point, the service was awesome, home feeling, dine-in space is clean, cozy, and very pretty. Totally recommended to Vietnamese food lovers.

Have Pho here for my lunch, such a great and fine dining. Everything seems so cozy and luxurious, and if lucky you can ask for homemade coffee from the owner, which he grinded and made directly from the coffee bean. I will try other dishes in the future. Must-go place

Ive been meaning to give the restaurant a try, so I stopped in to grab a salad roll for lunch. I ordered the shrimp & grilled pork roll. And it was delicious! The restaurant is very nice as is the owner. I will be trying out the pho next.

This restaurant has great Vietnamese food. We ate all and forgot to take picture. We have Bun bo Hue, stir-fried lemongrass beef and crispy spring roll. I will come back to check other disks and desert next time. This time is too full to try dessert but I already notice some great dessert in menu.

This was a beautifully decorated place. The service was perfect. The menu was elaborate enough to cover most options. We enjoyed combo 1. This included a shrimp cold roll which was the best I ve ever had. We were in a hurry but they were able to accommodate us in a timely fashion. We would highly recommend. Family run establishment that offers really good authentic tasting food. Everything is cooked to order, and as some others have said it does mean the order of food coming out isnt always precise, but the taste more than makes up for it.

The rice rolls are delicious, but the pork ribs and beef brisket may be a little undercooked and a bit tough. The chili oil is very fragrant.

The only authentic chinese food restaurant left in the city. The city used have 2 or 3 more chinese restaurants that served the authentic chinese food, but all of them are now serving north american chinese food, deep fried and full of sugar and pineapples. I really liked chinese broccoli with ginger, spicy fish soup, spicy shrimp with cucumbers, ma po tofu and various fresh noodles. I have been to this restaurant two times and both times I came out happy and satisfied.

I ve been here few times. There is only one or two cooks, so the food served a bit slowly. However the foods are really great. They made those super spicy for me and I loved it! One thing really bad is parking lot...... It s too hard to parking over there. BTW after 6, it s free parking.

The most authentic Guangdong Chinese food that Ive had outside China, with amazing flavours and textures. Even simple rice noodles have a nice, rich flavour and each dish has a unique flavour all its own.

Okay if youre looking for more traditional Chinese food but some items just arent up to par with what youd expect. Basically no selection for individual lunch combos. There are better options if youre already downtown.

If you do not have money or time to travel China for foods, Visit this place. You will have original taste of Chinese foods.

I wasnt sure what to expect. I work really close to The Riceguy and never stepped inside. I wish I would have come sooner ! The food was absolutely amazing. You cant get Chinese food like that elsewhere in the city. I ordered a pork and bean noodle dish and the flavours were strong and perfect. Cannot wait to try more dishes at Riceguy.

Entering I ve ordered has been packed with flavor, fresh and excellent. The menu is huge, widely varied and staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced overall. 13.95 for my Kung Pao chicken.

Cheap and delicious. Buffet is only 10$ and worth every penny. You can get takeout buffet containers if you are in a hurry.

We dined in for the first time yesterday. And needless to say it was the best Chinese food we have ever had in Regina. It was fresh, delicous, spicy, authentic and sophisticated. For sure we will be back many more times. Fyi thisrestaurants serves Szechuan inspired cuisine, not your regular Westernized Chinese food.

Bland and basic Chinese food. Ordered the chili marinated beef, was given a few morsels of beef on top of rice noodles, neither spicy or filling. On a separate order got their golden fried rice and requested hot chilli oil on the side. Got unseasoned rice with nothing I requested. Save your money, go elsewhere.
