If you want good pho, this is the place to go! The pho broth is DELICIOUS, the portions are very big and the service is excellent. Very friendly staff, and very clean restaurant. Will definitely be coming back.

Viet Trung has the best Vietnamese food in Regina, by far. The portions are big for the price and the food is always hot, fresh and excellent. Highly recommend any of their Pho or Ta Pin Liu hot pot.

Been coming here for years with my parents, the people that work here are super friendly and are very open to anything as long as you ask and describe what you are looking for. Hope this place gets the recognition it deserves

Ordered a take out, dinner for 8. Many Asian restaurants have the dinner for x amount style combo, and i need to say this has been the best one from all. We got more variety and better quality than from other places Ive tried. It is a bit more expensive than the others too, but its worth it.

The lady at the front desk is soo rude. I went in to get a takeout order. She made me feel like I wasn t meant to be there. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome at this place and yet at the same point she was so nice to the people of her own country. It was my first time there. I have never seen such an unwelcoming atmosphere in my entire life. They need to work on their customer service. I have been working in customer service for 5 years now, the one thing I know is that the customer is your paycheque so treat them nicely or at least do not be rude if you can t be nice.

I ordered Hot and sour. I dont know what they gave me but it was not that. Called to complain and hopefully get the right soup and they refused. For $14 this soup was clearly not worth it

The food was so good. Kept thinking about the pork from the rice plate we got because it was so tender and juicy. Well done.

I used to meet my dad here for lunch before he passed away. His favorite dish was Number 11 which is now #92. He liked it so much that he would try and recreate it at home. We still go back as a tribute to him. So this place will always have a special place in my heart. Its been tasty every time. We have also tried the deep fried shrimp, and #98 which were also superbly good.

I love it because is the only asian restaurant in Regina that does not add frozen veggies to fried rice (please frozen veggies DO NOT go in fried rice). My favorite dish is the chicken fried rice and BBQ pork.

They have the best chicken dishes here! I absolutely loved their lemon chicken and their pineapple chicken with rice. If youre visiting Regina and you love Vietnamese cuisine, you have to try this place out!

You won t be disappointed, but you won t come back. I will start by the positive, the service was fast and efficient. My meals were hot and tasty. With that said, viet food is full of subtleties of flavours, not here, the food was lacking character at all levels. They do not provide basil for the pho ..nor hot chillies. The decor is as bad as any other viet restaurant I have seen, so no points on that. And the ice coffee is not made the original way as they let it drip in front of your eyes. 3 starts y my absolute best.

I have always ordered online I am (WAS) a consistent customer. I saw the restaurant and I told my husband let dine in for a change. We were very disappointed. The restaurant is dark and dirty. The customer service is terrible, the server was rude and immediately we finished our food he brought the bill like telling us to leave, and the cleanliness of the place is horrific. Funny enough they are only friendly with people of their same nationality, they cannot accommodate other cultures they were not comfortable with us, in other words we were not welcomed. Lost a customer that used to WEEKLY buy orders for more than $100 I am telling my co-workers about this awful experience.

Vegetable lowmein and lemongrass chicken were gross. Lemongrass chicken was basically just a boiled chicken with barely any sauce on the top.

Good Chinese food. Their food is tasty, I love their Vietnamese spring roll, wonton soup, and shrimp and chicken fried rice. Serve hot on your plate fresh and clean. Anyone can visit and try their menu. Price are not bad and it is worth it. Healthy food and good for family, friends and colleagues. And it is good for any occasions.

Always good. Always the best. I will update my review to correct one critic. The woman (wife of owner) is best server ever. They will make changes and modifications to meals. Food is always fresh, good size portions. At least 60 times I have been there with group of 20 or more. Everyone satisfied. My first choice to host friends -- and almost all of them become regulars who bring in their own host of friends.

I was one of international students from South Korea, graduated from Luther College High School 10 years ago. If the owner of the restaurant hasnt changed, you may remember that we ordered yang chow fried rice every weekend. We really enjoyed your food, still miss yang chow fried rice so much. Seriously we miss it so much that we want to ship it overseas. Glad to know that Viet Trung Garden is still there. I would definitely visit again if I have a chance to visit Canada.

I ate viet trung special hot pot in late 2019 and I am back in Korea. But, I cant forget the taste till now. I still miss the taste. I tried so hard to look for the same food in Korea but I cant. It was just so perfect... If the owner sees my comment, would you please let me know the official name of Viet Trung Special Hot pot so I can look for similar food as much as possible? Thank you.

I hit up this place on my way out of the city. I ordered a combo dinner for 1 and it was wonderful. The Ginger beef was tender, crispy and sweet. Everything else was equally delicious. Ill totally be ordering from here again when Im back in town

The lady who took our order was rude she dont even know how to take order and i think she doesnt want to take our order because she looks mad while doing it. better close your restaurant if you will just be rude to your customers! I dont recommend this restaurant! Awful service!

So my decision to visit this place was based on its high rating. Alas this is what I found; 1. I was confused whether they were a vietnamese joint or a chinese place or just served Asian dishes that spans across countries, for they have dishes that deviate from the vietnamese theme 2. The prices dont match the quality. Id rate them 3/10 for quality with roughly 20 to 30% higher price point than ideal. Overall a confusing experience. I will leave it to you to form your own opinion, but my experience was definitely a disappointing one.

So I decided to eat out and odered for take out. I didnt know that they dont provide any cutleries. They didnt even bother to ask if I needed some. What kind of restaurant doesnt provide things to use along side with the food that they provide. Guess theyre now expecting costumers to just use their hands P.s. not even napkins. Geez

I had a horrible time at this place. We waited for a while just to get served. My mom already made space in the middle of the table for the waiter to put the food in there, but instead of putting it there, he handed everything to me just cuz i was the one who was closest to the waiter. The waiter didnt asked us if we wanted any refills and didnt even bother asking how everything is going. And the worst part is, before i left, found some dried up crusty piece of pork under the table which made me question the cleanliness of this place. Anyways sorry about the rant i just really hate bad services.

Extremely unimpressed with this restaurant and their customer service. We used their website to order delivery instead of skip the dishes because right at the very top of their page, it states free delivery whereas with skip, there is a charge. To our surprise, when we got our food there was a $5 delivery charge. I called the restaurant to clarify and they said you have to spend over $60 to get the free delivery which we did not. It does not state this anywhere on the website. Had I known this, I would have just ordered off skip the dishes since they only charge $4. Viet Trung Garden did nothing to compensate for their error. Will not be visiting or ordering from here again

Went for lunch today and was craving a grilled pork vermicelli bowl and freshrolls. Did not disappoint. $10 for a quick and delicious lunch. Would visit again.

Go often, food quality is pretty consistent.

Get fresh rolls. Preferably pork but whatever suits your fancy. You shant regret it.

Excellent service and amazing food. The staff was very attentive, but one person stood out the most. Tony was very funny and sweet, he was very knowledgeable and got my table everything we needed. We re definitely coming back.

Best fresh rolls ever

Ive had the bun bo hue here twice now, and this most-recent one was very good. The broth is nice; rich, and balanced between sweet, salty, savoury, and has a mild spiciness. The cilantro was the perfect amount. Overall very pleased with these soups Ive had. Service was excellent. The lunch time noodle bowls are decent, but I dont need that if I can get that soup again.

My favorite restaurant in Regina. Great food. Great service.

The food here is very good and reasonable prices. I usually have the ginger beef for around $15 and a full side of rice (around $3). You get large portions here, and I always go home with stuff for the next day. The wait staff is very friendly, and service is very prompt, even when theyre busy. Only negative things I have to say about the place is how small the dining room is, and that they dont serve udon noodle dishes, but these are minor things in my mind.
