Food was fantastic but portions were VERY small. Chef was delightful, as was the wait staff and sommelier. Great concept but I wasnt thrilled with the set menu.

The food was top notch with lots of flavour. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and the timing of our dishes was perfect. The decor is cute and I liked the size of the restaurant, but it was a little noisy when full and the music was a little loud. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would gladly return.

We happened to go during their Mexican popup event and the 6 course meal was spectacular. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable without being too cramped or noisy. We absolutely loved our dinner at Homestead Bar À Vin, we were there to experience the Casona menu. Eli treated us like family and the atmosphere made us feel like dancing. The meal was well worth the cost, the care taken for preparation and attention to detail was a luxury experience in a space that felt like home. The intimate setting caters to a feeling of personalized service that creates a warm and comfortable environment. I cannot wait to be back to see more of what they offer. A great experience for wine lovers! The whipped feta, pesto fusilli, and heirloom carrots were packed with unique flavour. I also loved the local Saltine bread that they serve with dishes.

Homestead is unequivocally the best restaurant in Regina hands down, full stop. It is what this city has needed for so long. A level of culinary taste, creativity, and experience that is unmatched. Ive never had anything here that I didnt love. This is my new go to in Regina and it should be yours as well. Cant say enough good things about it.

Sadly not the best experience and this may be why: I booked a table during the Valentine s set menu with my partner who is vegan. I was looking forward to a lot of the menu items that eventually weren t included due to dairy or animal products. Popcorn, while delicious, is not a suitable equivalent to oysters. They did include a lot of creative dishes but my request to include animal proteins for myself was put aside to accommodate my partner. Hope to return without him to get the full experience I was hoping for. Regardless, we had a great time, the service and atmosphere was incredible (90s hip hop was a fun touch) unfortunately the vegan options felt like a scramble on their part.

Just when I lost hope that no one would ever compare to the high standard of food and service that I have experienced in places like van and Montreal. Josh and the homestead changed my mind.. the service and food, timing and charm they represent was a breath of fresh air.. and they even had a non Alcoholic wine for my girl :) my glass was never empty the trout was so fantastic! One of the top restaurants in Regina hands down. Eli was amazing, paired every dish we had with a wine that brought out flavours in the food and truly wowed us. Beautiful space, one of the best date nights we ve had. All of the dishes we had were outstanding!! Vegetarian options: Servers are very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the food and will help accommodate any needs you may have.

You need to check this place out! My husband and I went because reviews said it was a unique dining experience and we wanted to try something new. We were both so impressed with the dimly lit, intimate atmosphere. Then we were surprised by the service, they took our jackets and I m not joking when I say our waiter was SO attentive! The place was PACKED, but our waiter would check in frequently, and offered excellent suggestions and conversation. But the best part of all was the food!!!! Small shareable plates and every one was better than the last! I could live off of the pistachio butter and bread! The cheesecake nearly sent me to heaven! Brownie crust with a Baileys-caramel drizzle. Such an amazing experience with lots of surprises. Even a wine podcast playing in the bathroom. I can t wait to go back. Next time, my husband and I will opt for the wine flights, because I think that would be cool to try. Even the owner was there and very nice.

I dont know much about wine. Dont know a Maldec from a Mulberry, so Josh and his immense wine knowledge and selection is a bit lost on me. I do know food however, and I enjoyed theirs thoroughly. From the smoked olives to the beef cheeks, and so much deliciousness in between, it was all delightful. I never thought that I would rave about roasted slices of Yam topped with Cheddar cheese and served on a Jalapeno Creme. Enjoyed dish after dish with fabulous wine pairings. Allow plenty of time for this experience. We were there for three very enjoyable hours.

This gem is worth it and by far the best restaurant in Regina if you re looking for an elevated experience. You can tell the team really cares about what they do and are extremely knowledgeable in both the food and the wine. It is designed to be an extended experience with dishes paced so be prepared for that. Gina served us and was absolutely wonderful in curating a wonderful dinner! While they do serve for all dietary types, they were able to customize our dishes to accommodate us as a vegetarian and a vegan

Their food and wine flight pairings are phenomenal. I had some of the best salads, tuna, and brisket that Ive ever had in my life. The decor is great. Service was amazing. The only thing I could complain about is the acoustics, as it gets crazy loud at dinner time.

Was legitimately the best food I can remember having in a long time, world class cuisine. The charred octopus absolutely blew me away and the staff were fantastically knowledgeable and brought me replacement vegetables when I informed them of an allergy. The atmosphere was also very charming. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Really impressed with the food! Best meal out Ive had in a while. Recommend the tasting menu to try a variety of options. Before going it was hard to know what sizes the plates would be but the staff was helpful and made really good wine suggestions!

My husband and I visited Homestead for our Anniversary dinner. We did the wine pairing with the large plated course meal. Amazing is not a big enough word to explain how amazing and flavorful our meal was! To make the experience even better, our server, Emily was a blast! She was so funny and down-to-earth. We really enjoyed her service and sense of humor. She also shared her sweet playlist she made for the restaurant, which made the vibes in the restaurant even more fun. We cannot wait to come back and hopefully have Emily again!

Visiting family in Regina from Sydney, Australia and dining at Homestead was a highlight. The menu was really interesting and every bit was beautifully presented and tasted great. The wine list is exceptional and its worth letting the wait staff to pair your wines for you. The table settings take you back to your childhood with plate and cutlery that mirror any found in the 70s and 80s. Worth a visit and great for a group - they accommodated 15 of us with ease. A great night with great food and wine in Regina.

I had the privilege of experiencing Homestead this evening for my Birthday supper by my bestie as we are both foodies! We had an 8 course meal and let me tell you filling yet light paired with delicious wine as we entered each palette. Josh (owner) was so welcoming, humble and passionate:! Really enjoyed a beautiful meal here for my birthday tried four dishes and had a great glass of wine! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Regina. In particular I loved the roasted carrot and spiced lentil dish, and the beef and peanut on polenta. Also quite liked the horseradish cream sauce on the broccolini. My least favourite were the scallops the dish was good but felt overpriced for two small scallops with some radish on top. Note for anyone who is concerned about social distancing: the tables in this restaurant are crowded and there is not a lot of room to stay away from other people.

This was hands down one of the best meals and dining experiences I ve had in a long time. Across the board. Food, service, ambiance, value, all 10/10. I can t remember the last time I went to a restaurant and left feeling like I got more than my moneys worth. The food and flavour profiles were second to none and the and ingenuity of the menu was incredible. The only bummer is that I m from out of town and can t become a regular! Regina is so very lucky to have this establishment. I have travelled across the world always trying to find hidden gems along the way and this was truly one of the best meals I have eaten out. While dining in is amazing, during covid restrictions the take out is our go to. High quality food perfectly seasoned, excellent wine pairings with bottles you can t get anywhere else and reasonable prices. Easily the best restaurant in Regina. A good place to get dinner in Regina. Portions are on the smaller side, but they warn you ahead of time. The east coast oysters were wonderful. We got the wine paring package and thuroughly enjoyed it. The server was really into describing the wines. My only regret is not writing down the names of wines I liked.

I had a wonderful experience with a friend for her birthday dinner. We are new to wine. Our server recommended wines to go with the plates we ordered. We split 2 snacks and 2 plates. Each dish was brought out one at a time just as we were finishing the last. The food was amazing! We will definitely be back for some wine flights!

What a choice for our anniversary! Everything is not as it seems. The music suggests that the living quarter must ve been close enough to the city to acquire a taste for CBC 2 in the afternoon (think War on Drugs not Mozart). The menu is beyond my normal prairie expectation - oh dear what is this? What if I hate it? I loved it. All of it. It just worked - sometimes surprisingly. Low key aesthetic meets fun, flavourful food. The service was delightful without anything approaching snootiness. The presentation was beautiful and interesting. If you can keep an open mind and try something a bit different, it s well worth the money. We hope to find a friend or two to join us for our next visit. Maybe we ll see you there.

An absolute gem in Regina and Saskatchewan as well. The wine menu is one of the best in the province and the food will keep you coming back. It s quaint and cozy inside and a great escape from the winter weather. Josh is a wonderful host who provides wine and pairing knowledge that shows how passionate and thoughtful he and the whole restaurant are when it comes to planning their menu. Anytime we come to visit from Calgary, we will be going here for dinner.

We came here on our anniversary and had an amazing time. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the music wasnt too loud. We decided to order a lot of items from the menu and we both tried the wine pairing (both the cheaper and more expensive options). The wines complimented our meals superbly and the food was exquisite. This was our first time here and it wont be our last.

So picture this... You and your partner decide to go for a nice summer glass of wine and a couple appies... with a 2 yr old... To a nice wine bar. What are you thinking right? Not the case, Josh welcomes us with open arms. Our toddler yells at Josh ice cream please and repeats this until Josh brings him his own little bowl of unicorn poop ice cream. What a guy. Smiled the whole time, even calls me out on not commenting on my review. This place is the best, 10/5 would dine here again, with a toddler. Outstanding people, with great knowledge and taste in food and drink.

Wow! Such an intimate space. Josh was welcoming and the most helpful host. I was offered wine to taste while I waited for the rest of my party. The menu was perfectly succinct, with plenty of options for even picky eaters. We had the Sumac Popcorn to start (buttery citrus flavour and perfectly toasted), and shared a Cucumber Dill salad (soooo creamy) and the Bratwurst (also amazing, especially the arugula salad it came with). Its hard to place this chic spot into any category other than Unique, as thats exactly what it was. Unique and delicious. Ill be back, thats for sure.

This is by far the best restaurant in Regina. The owner is beyond helpful. The food is delicious very well portioned and we tasted everything. Personnal favorites were the short rib and the feta. The gratin potatoes were also amazing. wine list is worth the detour and the knowledge and passion of the staff makes it absolutly amazing. Must go place.

Last night was the first time I went to the Homestead Bar A Vin. My experience was amazing! We sat at the bar and was helped by Josh the owner. He helped us find the wines that best suit our palate. The food was delicious and very unique. Not to mention that atmosphere was homy. Highly recommended this place and will definitely return in the future!
