Restaurant Cambodiana in Repentigny

The quantity has dropped enormously over the years of a restaurant that was once a benchmark. 5 small pieces of chicken in my peanut chicken for $28 with 2 spring rolls. The sauce recipe is not always the same because sometimes it is not tasty at all, too stretched....really disappointing!

By far my favorite restaurant even if it is not very spacious. The food is excellent.

Sad observation, the owner is very haughty and really not smiling (as usual) because the latter is insulted by the fact that I dare to tell him that to pay almost $5 for a soup which contains more broth (but still) than of chicken (the broth which costs almost nothing and it wasnt the first time that this happened... too bad I cant attach a photo) and to be told that we are the only ones complaining... you have to be really without gratitude towards your customers (for at least 15 years) and we are regular customers, too bad because the food is good .you have to believe that they have to cut somewhere to survive, you have to be stingy to act like that. so .I give 4 stars for the food but 1 star for the service and the soup .and 0 stars for the airs-de-boeufs of the owners

Traditional flavors and aromas, excellent value for money.

It seems like I always order either a general tao or a pad thai. This time, I ordered the general chicken tao. Right away I noticed a sweet aroma that Ive never noticed at other general taos. At Restaurant Cambodiana, they use coconut which makes the general tao less spicy. Its so good! I ordered extra rice because Im Filipino and the ratio of rice to chicken piece is not balanced.

A courteous, efficient and ultra-fast service. Never a mistake in ordering (to take away), we are regular customers, at least once a week for years.

Wheelchair accessibility: Oui...mais il me semble ke les allées sont un peut étroit. Mais ils sont vite pourvs donner une place bien situé pourvorre état. Comme tous les restaurateurs manque de personnel je crois car un tout petit long sur le sercice mais ils donnent un bon service malgré tout. A noter: ke moi et ma copine ont prend le plat flambé pour 2 on a toujours été très satisfaits (8x depuis les fêtes. Mais la derniere fois en + davoir augmenter les $ plat on a essayés chacun une assiette différente. Mais au poulet. Genéral Taho et Poulet au beurre darachide. Très déçus tout les 2.. Soupe 2 ok. Rouleaux 2 ok. Riz et Vermicelles ok. Mais 2 poulets,, pas assez chaud et croustillant celui panné et la sauce pas assez goûteuse,, celui o beurre arachide poulet pas assez cuit, sauce pas assez goûteuse également, ni sucré ni gout de beurre de pinotte, poulet dans les 2 cas sans goût manquait dassaisonnement. Remarquez que je continurai a aller a ce restaurant mais pour une différence de +/- 4a5$ ben vais reprebdre notre éternel combo flambé, car on en a assez pour 2 et complètement satisfaits et laissez moi vs dire ka la maison on me donne comme surnom,,, la poubelle.. Au moins on fait chauffer a notre goût. Moi ki ne mangeait pas de crevettes avant mais là ça sappelle touche pas a ma part.. Mon opinion restaurant a essayer et jen resterai un client mensuels. Et je donne la note de 4 1/2 pour mon flambé. Bonne appétit à tous.

Have known this restaurant for a very long time. Last visit... The amount of meat was tiny, as were the shrimp. Very small dishes, way too expensive for the quantity and quality. Changed to less good, too bad. Stop raising prices and reducing the plates. please.

I discovered this restaurant several years ago and I dont think Ive been happier than during my visits to this place (Repentigny). The staff and the friendliness of the people as well as their food continually amaze me!

The eternal garden for 2 is delicious! Bankok soup is tasty.

What are its opening hours? Nobody wants to work anymore? Generation of lazy people.

Very good restaurant for those who appreciate Thai cuisine. There are classics such as General Tao, Thai salad, phom phen soup, etc. good specials including soup salad, main course and dessert for around $25, it is also a bring your own wine.

The service is very efficient, courteous and discreet. The prices are completely affordable. You should try the most unconventional dishes and dont hesitate to ask the waiters opinion. Important fact: its never noisy in this restaurant, as if the people, often regulars, are used to not speaking loudly.

Not the best General Tao around...

The service was very good but the dishes were bland. I had a general tao and the sauce tasted just like coconut. Another dish from someone accompanying me also tasted just like coconut. I think that if you are someone used to different restaurants of this type in Montreal, you are not likely to find what you are looking for there. The peanut chicken didnt taste much according to another person who accompanied me. Also, since the general tao doesnt come with a lot of vegetables, I asked for a side of vegetables, the waitress told me they dont make them. They also dont have any dishes with a vegetarian protein, the only vegetarian choice is rice with vegetables.

Very very disappointed, we found that the plates were less full than usual, the taste was no longer the same, just the dessert (banana flambée) which had not changed. Bankok soup is no longer the same, the plate of peanut chicken tasted nothing..

Nice little discovery. We moved in at the end of May and until now we havent found anything potable. Finally we found this Asian restaurant to our liking and close to home. From now on we will no longer have to return to Montreal every time to eat. the service is good, the people are kind and attentive to our requests. On the other hand, I was disappointed with the crispy sesame noodle dish (my favorite dish usually) which in my opinion is very oily with sesame oil to return without hesitation
