Being served in quite deplorable English... good meal!!! Montreal is getting closer and closer to Repentigny.. Im filing a complaint with the office!!!

Very good Indian food. Lots of varieties, and everything was very tasty. The naan breads, wow! The combos are well worth it, we had a great evening there. Very affordable, and whats more, bring your own wine!

Wow wow wow We were regulars at this restaurant before the pandemic, and nothing has changed!!! Starting with the owner who is always extremely attentive, who loves to introduce you to the flavors of his country, then passing through the food which is quite simply the best Indian in the greater Montreal region! Weve been to almost every Indian restaurant in Montreal over the years, and this one is at the top of the list. Plus it s BYOB!! Its not the most modern restaurant, or the fanciest, but its a warm restaurant, and most importantly in my opinion, the food is ALWAYS excellent.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. Im a big fan of Indian food and have had several succulent butter chickens. This is not butter chicken. It has neither the taste, nor the color nor the consistency of a successful dish. When you look at the photo on their site and what I received, you can quickly see that there is a misrepresentation. Nothing appetizing. In addition, the dish leaked a lot in the plastic bag so all the other items were soaked and sticky. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are a lover of Indian cuisine since I am convinced that you will have eaten the best elsewhere.

The owner was very welcoming and helpful to us, he was the only one in the kitchen (I think) and the wait was worth it. My charcoal chicken was delicious, the starter with shrimp was heaven, the mango slag refreshing, Ill be going back soon for sure.

Excellent service, 2nd visit, there were 8 of us there and we ordered a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious, tasty, a real great discovery. If you like real Indian food then you must check out Aladdin. For the moment it is not open at lunchtime because of Covid

I make this comment out of complete disappointment. I ordered a butter chicken dish and received a sweet cream with chicken. Ive had Indian food before and it didnt taste like this at all. The dish had no spices and tasted a lot like milk. I paid over $30 for a dish and naan bread that is going in the trash. I dont know if their recipes are authentic, but I have never had Indian food as bad as in this restaurant.

Oil, oil and more oil. I ordered a FF combo. I had never eaten at this restaurant. I saw the reviews and they convinced me. I love Indian cuisine, but I wasnt won over at all. All the dishes were tasteless and what can we say about the amount of oil they contained! Samosas are made from ordinary boiled potatoes with tired spices. The naan bread disconcerted me with its bitter taste (how can naan bread be bitter?). What can we say about the diopaza chicken dishes (it doesnt have the same colors or the same taste at all) and the beef (there was no beef in the combo) which are bathed in a sea of oil and which had no flavor! However, Indian cuisine is famous for its spices, but they have completely missed the point.

Very disappointed with this restaurant, which sells its meals at a price more expensive than what it should be sold for, fans of Indian cuisine go to the Indian restaurant in Pointe-aux-Trembles, it is without hesitation the best branch! Too bad they are closed on Tuesday... I ordered a chicken biryani rice, for $16 and the ingredients werent really fresh...and the strong smell of the sauce soaked into my hands

Great discovery today! The climate is pleasant and family-friendly, the food excellent and generous. Even with the staff shortage, the owner was able to welcome people, serve them quickly and do the checkout! People working like that are increasingly rare! PVI, the restaurant is open despite the renovations on Notre-Dame (or the absence of a street I should say!).

The main meal is very good but the onion starter overcooked. No vaccination passport requested and our server did not have a mask when serving us. Mixed experience...

Really didnt like it. I tasted all the dishes in the AA and FF meals. More than one dish out of two was not good. The portions were tiny and it was cold. The mushroom, onion and mint dish is in my top 5 worst dishes ever eaten.

Ive eaten worse, but not at this price. It cost $100 for two adults and two kids and after eating everything that wasnt too bad, we were still hungry. I recommend that the chef take a trip to Tandoori Palace in Laval to get a little inspiration.

The food was delicious! The only negative is their butter chicken. It was made with condensed milk, so it was white in color instead of orange, which made it too sweet. Real butter chicken is made with milk, yes, but not condensed milk. The rest was really good.

Very good food, courteous service. On the other hand, if you are afraid of catching Covid, avoid this restaurant. The servers do not wear any protection and they are not asked to wash their hands at the entrance. My friends and I stayed despite our surprise because we are regulars and we wanted to encourage this small restaurant which has surely suffered from confinement.

I give 4 for the service and courtesy, however the food I have doubts, but I ordered butter chicken and what did I receive? Chicken in milk, having known I would have put a chicken leg in a pan at home with a liter of milk . Its edible but Ive had better Indian food.

Always satisfied, we have been there several times, slow cooking, which gives us time to enjoy good times in good company!

Having an Indian husband and eating this cuisine very often, the dishes tasted nothing, they were not spicy at all. A Chicken Tikka Masala is supposed to be spicy. Not at all in this case. We didnt appreciate paying $73 for what we considered to be nothing. We will continue to go to India Beau Village in Park Extension where it costs us $40 for two. The service was very good by all accounts.

The service is slow. The waiter was very stupid and we had to wait 20 minutes for our drink even though we had to ask the waiter three times. The butter chicken tastes like Cheese Wiz but the rest was ok. The service really leaves something to be desired.

Very good food, however service was slow on a Saturday evening even though we were among the first to arrive for dinner. Additionally, a loud chime on the front door was a bit disturbing.

Dont be fooled by this restaurants average score. NO FRESHNESS. I have never had such low quality food in 20 Indian restaurants combined. The prices are high and the take out is cold and in small quantities. I had to reheat it in the microwave when I got home. (5 min drive) It cost me $30 for a butter chicken with rice and starter but $30 well invested to never go back. Don t believe any good review. This is the worst Indian restaurant I ve been to and I ve tried most of them in Montreal. $30 per person for tiny cold plates. No freshness. Well invested to never go back

Always a delight, Ive been there three times now and as the owner says, were taking a trip to Paradise ;-) Saturday I went with my daughter, she told me its my 2nd best restaurant ever, that s well said. The flavors are very well brought out, its quite delicious. Courteous service especially during the week, on Saturday the service was a little slow when we arrived but they were young adults, that perhaps explains it a little. One thing to improve would be the cleanliness of the premises, especially the bathrooms. Its no problem to recommend the place, a good Indian atmosphere ;-)

I would definitely recommend this restaurant, the food was just amazing, the staff is very friendly and always catering to your needs. The ambience was very romantic with the dimming of the lights and the music, Im really impressed, will go back soon for sure!

If you are no longer open at lunchtime, please modify your hours accordingly out of respect for customers who travel unnecessarily from Montreal. 2nd time in my case and I wont come back again. Im going to go to India Masala not far away... Its Tuesday and Im taking a detour from Montreal on purpose to come have lunch at this restaurant whose menu, website and poster say its open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. Well no, I arrive hungry and its closed. Barred doors. Please update your tips to avoid unnecessary travel. I will try India Masala in this context

This is the second time I went there, this time it was crowded with people which is a good sign. But I think they were overwhelmed because when paying the bill they asked us again what had eaten??? And unfortunately the chicken and lamb were dry but everything else was excellent

Complete disappointment...for my celebratory dinner... Dont be fooled by the average score of this restaurant. I have never had such low quality Indian food. We arrived early (5:15 p.m.) in order to have good service but it was missed... difficulty taking orders correctly and understanding French... no papadum when arriving, we have to ask for it... we pass our order and 45 minutes later, we finally receive our dishes. We receive our main dishes but they forgot our starters even though there are practically no people in the restaurant. In terms of taste, bland, not at all spicy, ordinary, extremely liquid sauce, in short, a big SUPREME disappointment... and whats more, the naan breads are not cooked well or even not cooked at all... so its horrible. Cobwebs on the ceiling and in the bathroom. And when I go to pay, I have the entries that we never received on the bill. For a long time, I wanted to give this Indian restaurant a chance but I noticed that it is considerably behind the Indiana Masala Indian restaurant in Repentigny and that the Barahti Indian restaurant in Joliette is in a league of its own by being the best Indian restaurant in the area.
