Biaggi's Bar & Trattoria in Repentigny

Nice place. I went there with work colleagues for our Christmas dinner. We were close to 30 people. We were placed at the top. The waitress was friendly. Since we were a group, we were required to choose the group menu, but we could pay our bills separately. The DJ was good (MUCH better than some Ive heard). He played everything and accepted special requests. However, the music was very loud! We had difficulty hearing each other when we were eating. As for the food, its good, nothing extraordinary. I had the Asian salad as a starter and the filet mignon as a main course, but I changed my mashed potatoes for fries. I ordered a mojito and I don t recommend it! It looks like I was drinking water! They remove the tables to create a dance floor. That was good too. If you live in Repentigny, Terrebonne or Mascouche, I recommend this place instead of going to Laval or Montreal. P.S. If youve ever been to Shaker, Biaggis is very similar.

I always liked going there because we ate very well but you have to believe that that has changed. Very ordinary food, we were in a group formula with a menu that leaves nothing to be desired, small portion and very poor quality service.

The food is excellent. The service very good. But the music is really very loud and there are a lot of people, so talking and hearing each other especially is a constant challenge. The advantage is If you re the always chatting on the cell phone even at a restaurant with friends type, this is the perfect place for you.

Great atmosphere our waitress was super awesome. Octopus starter I dont recommend at all $26 for a small portion, very hard and vinegary. My only disappointment of the evening.

The tables are too close to the other customers. Music much too loud we cant hear each other speak and almost sitting with the other customers its so close. For the food and service/price quality its excellent!

Seriously .the food was all good and a lovely evening. Well a mocktail filled with 50% ice in the glass it s disappointing for the price. Also, tipping suggestions on the bill. There is a suggested amount after taxes on the invoice really so almost 18%. Then on the payment terminal same thing But adding a WoW for a 20% tip and a best ever at 30% . Still after taxes, its exaggerated. So I did what was necessary... took the amount of taxes..., so a real 15% on the bill. Yes, very, very good service...but pushing the tip to this point is encouraging me to tip less. Take the time to give the required tip. You can give more but choose. Do not be influenced by the terminals and suggestion programmed by the owner.

It cost me 36 dollars for a soup, a chicken breast with sauce, some vegetables with 2 small pieces of potato. I was still hungry and yet it doesnt take me much time to be full. Otherwise for the atmosphere, we had to yell so that we could hear each other, it wasnt very pleasant

The service was perfect, the food was good, the only negative point is the quantities! Unfortunately, they have decreased too much when we talk about a mussel meal! In the past, the cauldrons of mussels were full and it was perfect since the shell of mussels is large, but the inside is very small! Yesterday it was delicious as always, but half a cauldron was served to us as a meal which is very regrettable! Lets say we got half for our money, which means were half back... very unfortunate, because the taste is still there

Although it is a good restaurant, there is no air conditioning and we were not informed of this at the time of booking. At 40 degrees its heavy for the customers but above all terrible for the staff and the kitchen. Although they kept their smiles all evening with us and we were more than kind! An employee left in an ambulance because it was so hot. There is someone somewhere who should take better care of the team whether it is the owner of the restaurant or the building.

My fettucini was bathed in oil, you could say he had put leftovers on my plate very bad dining experience.

Dishes far too expensive for the quality and quantity on our plate. The mussels were not fresh and the prime rib was tough and tasteless. The waitress at the bar who shouts, I understand that its a restaurant bar, but there are limits. Its very hot, the air conditioning is inadequate.

Please don t confuse this with Biaggis in the US.

Really disappointed with their filet mignon. It seems to me that at +$50 per dish we can ensure that it is cooked. In short, it was way overcooked. And the portion of accompaniments was not really generous for surely one of the most expensive dishes on the menu... its a shame because its certainly not the most expensive of the ingredients of the mashed potato and two strips of peppers. Well, luckily the waitress was great, that was the only positive point. That and the fact that it was very hot inside while it was raining outside and to compensate for that they offered us shots. Going back, I think we would choose dishes from the menu that are more typical of this style of establishment, which is a bit of a brasserie in my opinion.

Very nice group booking experience. We booked for a Saturday evening for a group of 40 people. Despite the traffic, very good service, especially Océane who took care of us. The alcohol and aperitif service at the start was quick. The service for starters and main meal was perfect. Everyone was served at the same time Food excellent and very hot. I recommend without hesitation for celebrating in a group.

We were there and there was no hostess to welcome us. It wasnt even full and all the waitresses and barmaids saw us at the entrance waiting for 5 minutes without coming to see us.

Yesterday I went to my cousins party, super nice atmosphere, nice service, 2 deals which we take away 2 stars, there is a childrens menu at $10.95, a perfect spaghetti, she gives me the plate, hummm, thats a plate for a child I dont think so, I get my plate an adult spaghetti for $20 well you know what well it was the same plate same quantity, I dont understand for a childrens menu its $10.95 but the same as the adult one $20 anyway a big plate and lots of spaghetti. Second thing, no table to lie down in the bathroom to change diapers, I find it quite a shame. In short otherwise super nice service with a smile

I didnt think I would spend my evening with my wife in a nightclub. And a server was missing; she was overwhelmed. If you want to have a nice dinner with your wife or partner, AVOID Saturdays, its ridiculous how impossible it is to get along and enjoy the dishes. Because the service and food are good, but the boom boom, especially before 9:00 p.m..... Ridiculous.

Worst service. The server was not welcoming. No water filling. Extremely long service. Several errors in orders as well as invoices. No apology or compensation from the manager. No consideration of our displeasure. Customer service is to be worked on by the staff. We remember that the latter begins when he enters and ends when he leaves the restaurant. I was there last night with 2 friends. I wanted to point out the lack of respect from the server Sunny. No smiles all evening! And when its time to pay, he looks at the bills to see how much they give him. He dared to say to my friend: what, the service wasnt good? And he said that he was paid as if he was owed the rest of his salary. Change jobs, maybe youll get a smile and youll get paid more! Music too loud to talk.

Nice place, food and service was great. Sound system was loud (Saturday night) and a bit defective with audible distortion/buzz similar when you have a almost defect audio jack.

I actually am not a huge fan of the ambiance, but my wife really likes it. The food is some of the best for the price though. The calamari was nice thicker rings, but still not over cooked like most places. Came with a small salad with marinated bell peppers. Way worth the price. I had the veal parmesan with spaghetti and arrabbiata sauce. Great flavor and tasted home cooked with fresh herbs and spices. No hint of artificial flavors. I will get again. My wife had the filet mignon. Very tender and delicious and a nice thick cut. We ordered rare and it actually came out rare. Perfectly char grilled outside with a cool red inside. Id recommend it if you are a steak person. You wont get better steak for less than double the price. Finally, my 8 year old daughter had the childrens pizza. Even that was amazing. It was a thin crust crispy pizza with perfect amount of cheese. The sauce was flavorful with a fresh basil taste. I was surprised at the size of the kids pizza. I ate 2 slices and we still had 2 slices to bring home after my daughter was full (she did eat half my calamari though). Im always weary of ordering off the kids menu because you often find its like a frozen pizza with a thick crust you could have gotten from Metro. This was not the case. In summary, we had a great meal for a great value. Skip the traffic to downtown Montreal and eat here instead.

When a dish costs $49, we expect to eat comfortably. It was very unpleasant to have dinner while sweating because it was incredibly hot in the restaurant. the waiter told us that there was a problem with the air conditioning system and that the owner refused to do any work... Having a roll of toilet paper placed in front of the sink in the bathroom instead of hand towels was quite banal and in bad taste! the decoration of the restaurant is beautiful nonetheless! In short, the experience was disappointing, especially when comparing the bill with the debacle ;) Damage!

Again and always my favorite place to eat as a couple or as a couple of friends. The food is always good with good portions and the prices make good sense.

Good atmosphere, the music was a little loud but bearable. I ordered the mussels with my husband, they had a very strong fishy taste and were very oily. They were also very very small. I couldnt finish them without feeling sick, the sauce didnt taste like the authentic Italian dish either. I would probably try another dish from this restaurant but I definitely wouldnt go back for the mussels.

What a disappointment we had when we received our main course!!! There were 6 of us and we all had the pasta and seafood dishes. Firstly, this restaurant had accustomed us to very high quality meals before. But now it has nothing to do with what we knew. Example, dry mussel and not fresh, scallops that were the size of a dime. (before scallops were the size of a two dollar coin). Shrimp smaller than before and portions that were not like before etc.. it lacked sauce and the food tasted like it was reheated, as if it were leftovers from yesterday. The waitress did nothing to help us, and I gave her a very good tip since it wasnt her fault.

Having already been here several times, with always good service, my last visit to the restaurant disappointed me a lot. I ordered a medium rare flank steak and instead received a medium/cooked flank steak with some charred pieces. The waitress insisted that it was the right cooking and replied what do you want me to do.. in an arrogant manner. I found this very disrespectful of him. I am a person who normally tips very well for good service. And even if it is not the fault of the waitress if my meal did not live up to my expectations, her attitude really displeased me. The tip has been significantly reduced.

We went to dinner for my sons birthday on Saturday evening, when we arrived we quickly noticed that the restaurant was overflowing. The owner must have taken way too many reservations compared to the waiter/waitress on the floor. After 2 long hours of waiting we left without eating and very disappointed. It was my first and last time at this restaurant.

Im not disappointed The food is excellent, the portions generous and the server we had was kind, smiling and courteous, even though we were 18 people. It was very nice.

I made a reservation for 8 people, 2 didnt show up...he charges us $50 per person so $100 isnt just scandalous...its illegal!!!
