A regular really disappointed with the lack of service! We left after 15 minutes of sitting waiting without even the usual first courteous visit from a waiter and his bottle of water!!!!! What a disappointment!

Amazing!!! The atmosphere is warm, as is the entire team. We were able to enjoy the terrace, charming and private. The food was SUBLIME! Best fish dish I have eaten (tuna tataki). My husband and I loved EVERYTHING that was served to us, from the cocktail to the dessert! I always appreciate a restaurant that has a dish of the moment, it gives good reasons to return there to discover everything. Great variety on the menu and a very reasonable price given the incredible quality of the experience offered. We are already planning our next visit! Parking: Two possibilities: in the street or at the back (both free)

Great promo on Tuesdays-Wednesdays! (Burger or tartare of your choice + glass of wine or beer for $25) We also shared a smoked meat poutine and a crabcake for three and it was just perfect. Our waitress (Elizabeth I think ) was very attentive and gave us excellent suggestions. The only less positive comment would be that the salad accompanying the tartare was perhaps lacking a little vinaigrette but considering the excellence of the other dishes tasted, its really not dramatic!

Excellent restaurant! We go there every year and we are never disappointed. The meals are delicious, the waiters are very nice and the service is fast. The drinks are also very good, especially the Long Island Ice Tea. The prices look good.

Very disappointed with our visit on February 3. Despite a reservation upon arrival, no table for 6 people was ready. A table was prepared for us quickly but two chairs came from outside and were extremely cold without warning or apology. The service was very long. Around 7:30 p.m. we were told that we were going to be served after the other customers because they had a show (without asking us if we had other things after the meal). We were made to feel less important. We received our 6 meals and out of the 6 one was very disappointing (the meat of the moment, this dish was without taste and sauce) we informed the waiter and he apologized and picked up the dish and he told us that it will not be loaded. When we received the surprise bill, we were charged 50% for the dish.

I went to eat there with friends reservations made for 7:30 p.m., the service very good however the food average for me (the most disappointing onion soup ever eaten and the burger very bland). Furthermore, at 9:50 p.m. we were told that the restaurant was going to close so we had to leave, although on the website it was noted that it closed at 11:00 p.m., especially since we were not alone, there were 2 other groups. I will not repeat my experience in the restaurant counter space.

In my opinion, this restaurant is one of the best in the area. I returned for a second time with my partner and the second experience was as excellent as the first. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is excellent and the dishes are fabulous. I had the duck breast and my partner chose the braised beef. For dessert, carrot cake and cookie/brownie. The cooking of the meats, the accompaniments, the balance of flavors, everything was perfect. We highly recommend.

We had a great time. The food was good, the cocktails too. The atmosphere was also beautiful except for a speaker problem which was noisy at certain times.

A little girl s dinner! One of them orders fish and chips! 2 of the 3 pieces are small and dry therefore not edible and left on site and the largest is a large ball of dough with little fish. The waitress is informed because she asks us if everything is to our liking. She says she will notify the kitchen. And it all ended there! The invoice is unchanged. I would have expected her to bring back a piece of fish. Unfortunately nothing was said to him at that time. His service remains good but young and inexperienced. We reserved the private room 1 and a half months in advance. And when we arrived the room was rented to another group. They relocated us elsewhere. Very good food. Not very good. The quality of the food is not great. Very disappointed with the macaroni and cheese my daughters ordered. When you have to order another plate because you agree with what your child says. Much too expensive for the taste for all the 6 dishes we ordered. Parking: It took at least 10 minutes to find parking Kid-friendliness: Only 3 meals for children.

Dinner at this restaurant on a Saturday evening...mixed review. The strong points: the look, the cleanliness, the service, the 3 cheese fondue which is really worth the detour, the non-greasy breading of my fish as well as its cooking which was perfect! The weak points: very noisy, the fish in my fish and chips was really tasteless, even the tartar sauce was neutral and did not have that little tangy taste that we usually find, the dessert (half-cooked biscuit) really too much sweet, which we could not finish and finally, the green tea which I did not drink because it too was tasteless and did not taste like green tea.

We had reserved a room for a family dinner. We were well received and very well served by Justine throughout the meal with extraordinary patience in managing a group that had not been seen for a long time. Personally I loved my meal from A to Z my partner had a flank steak he was a bit disappointed it lacked tenderness. He is a butcher and a very good cook but not difficult. It wasnt my first time and it wont be the last.

First experience in this pretty little restaurant. The atmosphere is very present which is excellent if you want to have a good evening with friends or as a couple. I saw a few parents bringing children. However, Im not sure this is the best restaurant for them. *There are extra chairs for children. The service is good. The waitresses are very friendly and efficient. On the other hand, we waited almost 1 hour 15 minutes for our meal. However this may have been due to an employee problem in the kitchen or because the restaurant was full. As for the food, everything was excellent. The portions are good, the presentation is well thought out and the taste is excellent! In short, a good evening! I highly recommend this restaurant.

I dont understand why the portions are in such small dishes... also Ive been there twice now and the service is always weird the last time a young man answered the phone with attitude when I tried to make a reservation on a Saturday around 7 p.m.... I didnt understand where the attitude came from but hey...

We were very disappointed with our evening! This restaurant is way too noisy! So much so that I wanted to order dessert, but gave up because I couldnt wait to leave. It must also be said that the service was very long. As for the food, it was good. However, I do not recommend the foie gras, because the portion of foie is ridiculously small compared to what is served in other restaurants.

Nice place to have a drink with friends or eat a good meal. Beautiful decoration. It was the first time that my partner and I went there. Its a little noisy, but also a little normal given that they receive a lot of groups of friends and people chat! Also, the place is quite echoey, so that helps to accentuate the noise. For the meal, I had the beef cheek which was excellent. My partner had the fish & chips which she also found very good. But she found the fries a little dry. The service was excellent. Our waitress was super nice and smiling! Overall, I recommend! A pleasant place for an excellent bistro meal. Very pleasant terrace with patio heaters, so no worries for cooler evenings. Beef tartare with dried tomatoes which gives us a nice little twist in the mouth without reinventing anything. Quite irregular cut. Great experience overall.

First experience at this restaurant. Very nice terrace and trendy music. However my meal was more than ordinary with crumbs of fries and dry Fish & Chips. There is a shortage of waiters/waitresses. Without blaming them, the service was rather slow due to the lack of staff. Ah! And no tartar available when we went. Disappointment for us :( * CORRECTION * a tartare that we wanted and not all the tartars.

The atmosphere and decor are very chic and well done. The terrace is very beautiful. The service was very good. The menu is short and seems well balanced. However, As a starter we had poutine and carpaccio. They were both delicious. Nice balance of flavor. At the meal we shared several dishes. The wild meat burger: the cooking was excellent and the bread was crispy. It spoils the flavors, cheese, meat, caramelized onions and sauce. Everything was heavy and bitter. Towards the end of the burger each bite was rolling around in my mouth. Salmon and tuna tartare duo: the portion is tiny and everything lacked flavors and textures. Duck salad: the duck was overcooked, and the beetroot, fig, duck, spinach and arugula mixture was very earthy and bitter. The key lime pie was good but very dense and the meringue tasteless. The whole thing was really not worth the price of the bill we got.

The meal was a success from start to finish! The best flank steak Ive ever eaten, it melted in my mouth. Congratulations to these 2 young entrepreneurs.

I find that L Espace Comptoir in Repentigny is a good family restaurant with a nice atmosphere on the terrace. Small note to improve: I find that there is a lot of lactose (cheese in several dishes) which greatly reduces the choices.

The soup as a starter was good and pleasant to taste, and the portion more generous than expected. The crabcake as a starter was good (but not extraordinary either). Salmon tartare as a meal ($28 vs. $14 as an appetizer) was good but much too vinegary (because of the capers?); I didn t manage to finish it. On the other hand, the salad was delicious! The fries were good but found them too salty. The tuna takaki was good but very bare. There was nothing to accompany it... I felt sorry for my partner who only had this mini portion of nothing at all to eat even though it was in the meal category.. Very disappointing For cocktails, they were good But overall we find it much too expensive ($100 for 2 people) for the quantity. The taste in general was good but not a great experience that would justify such a price. I also have to say that the lighting didnt go well with the frosted menus; it was reflected in our eyes and we had difficulty reading them correctly. I have very good eyesight and I dont wear glasses, but I felt like a fool squinting my eyes. This is our experience We dont plan to return.

Large bistro with tasteful decor but downside for the taste of the coffee. Very kind waitress despite our complaints about the taste of the coffee and offered my wife a glass of tomato juice as a replacement.

Good welcome from the waitress assigning a table while giving the menu. Only good performance of these. The goal was to try the Fish N Chips or tartare. It was never possible to order. So this review doesnt take food into account. More than 20 minutes of waiting to see the waitresses go from table to table, passing right by, or talking to each other. No glances, no indication that they could be there in a minute. When a table arrived after me gave their order, I left... Cold and pseudo-modern decor (typical of the suburbs). Looking at the menu, we seem to be paying for the decor. I prefer paying for food and service. I would be surprised to go back, there are so many good restaurants. You never know... ***** A few tables were still available on the terrace during my visit and two or three tables were taken inside.

Correct service, not very professional, but friendly. We serve our own water and wine, we make do with it! The food was a real disaster: 1) Burger for children requested with mayo, salad and tomato....we dont have tomatoes we put ketchup instead uh...ok? 2) Fish and chips for my guy...ridiculous portion of fish and more than suspect coleslaw (beige, not green). 3) Crab cake, a little warm, but best dish of the evening. 4) Duck breast and extra foie gras. A total absence of seasoning (I had to ask for pepper and salt, which I never do in a restaurant of this type), beetroot puree frozen as if left too long under the stove, walnut sauce as advertised, but non-existent and breast hard as stone and brown overcooked on a medium time. 5) Duck tataki. Ridiculous portion, overcooked looks more like dried out, tasteless meat. 6) Salmon tataki...overcooked fish, nothing like a tataki worthy of the name. I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the duck (which was clearly the worst dish of the evening)....no compensation offered other than: yes, its not the usual chef, its not easy to make this dish for those back...wow! Sorry, but it really wasnt good. There is no shortage of restaurants in this price range ($150 with a bottle of wine) that are of much better quality. I think they would benefit from having a shorter and more controlled menu.

After about at least 10 visits, Always great service and the meals have never disappointed anyone Ive gone with. Very good promotion on Monday and Tuesday evening and the same for dinner. The beef and salmon tartare are good, the pokebol the best I have tasted, their poutine is always different and special. The only thing is that its impossible to have the beef and salmon tartare on a meal plate even if they are made in half portions, the owner never wanted it but thats my little whim. me Im not much of a photographer but look on Instagram and youll find some.

Exceedingly friendly waitresses, beautiful decor, good food without being extraordinary for the price range. In the quality comparisons, under the Coup Monté, but with a greater choice of menu. I will go back there anyway.

Yesterday (October 16 in pm) was my first visit to the Comptoir space on the recommendation of my partner who had already been there, friendly welcome, very good food, I ordered the salmon which was delicious and my partner the Poke Bol, The problem was when paying the bill. I had to go to the counter to get the bill, they gave me the bill, I checked it like every time I receive a bill, the waitress gave me a comment that I no longer remember, but which didnt have a seat, I pay, the waitress asks me about the tipping rate, and starts to explain to me how tipping works, Im 55, Im on the road, Im constantly in restaurants, I found this to be a blatant lack of tact, and for this reason I will not return to this restaurant because of this type of comments. Its poor because the food is super good, but a big zero for this waitress.

Very noisy restaurant. I ate the fish & chips. It was quite good although the plate was a little empty (3 pieces would be better and a little salad too). My partner ordered the land and sea, 3 shrimps and 2 small pieces of flank steak, not really tender. For thirty dollars its overkill. We may have been unlucky but Ill never know because I probably wont go back. Good luck to you.

Very nice space and very good food, but a few negatives undermine the experience. We had booked the restaurant for a shower brunch: the menu offered was more or less appropriate for brunch, the filter coffee tasted like water and the restaurant does not serve hot chocolate. In addition, the prices seem exaggerated to us for the size of the portions, just as the fees for the right to have a cake are prohibitive. All the same, a pleasant place with tasty dishes.
