On the other hand, on Sunday evening the boss is not there and the five employees present (3 in the kitchen and 2 in the service department) are very busy having fun on an electronic tablet and for the service you have to be patient because the customers move on after their fun. The service is excellent, thats the strength of the restaurant. The beef tartare was also very good, but the main course... Three of us chose the medium rare beef strip steak. This is the first time Ive been disappointed. There were 4 of us and each had table dhôte and prime rib....it cost us $173 each, remember that there are no drinks at that price. The appetizers and the Tataki starter were very bland and ordinary, one of the 2 beef ribs was very good, the other not very tender. The dessert is very good. The service was lousy, we were asked if we wanted plates to share the meal...the waitress was not able to explain the desserts to us, no offer of coffee. This is our second visit since the recent administrative change and we had a second disappointment. Is it a matter of circumstance but the food is no longer of the same caliber that we knew. I cant blame the service because she said she was new and she couldnt give us the details of the foie gras starter which usually is a masterpiece. The beaver tail was hard without counter the fishery of the moment. A very small piece of fish, 3 carrots lying on a pea puree, it wasnt worth the detour. For my part, the beef and marrow sauce were absent. I miss the time when Mathieu was present in the room and the atmosphere was wow and with the entry error we wouldnt have been charged! We came to celebrate our 10th anniversary with you. In short, I wanted to let you know because it didnt end our day yesterday so well.

An incredible culinary experience! Everything was perfect, from the appetizers to the dessert, including the service. Le Coup Monté is in my opinion the best restaurant in Repentigny, no need to go to Montreal to enjoy a 5-star meal. The foie gras as a starter is divine, and the lamb melts in your mouth. It was the first time we came, but it wont be the last, thats for sure!

I love everything about this restaurant

As usual, extraordinary food. Very good service offered by the waitress. The only exception was that I was forced to leave at 8:30 p.m. for the 2nd service (there were free tables around us to welcome new customers) even though I received my dessert at 8:20 p.m. I was informed that there was a second service at 8 p.m. and I didnt know that before. So when they charge me $95 before tips and dont let me finish my dessert, Im less likely to come back. Too bad because I was a regular customer for 10 years but unfortunately this has come to an end.

My partner and I were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. When we arrived we were informed that the terrace was closed even though we had reserved on the terrace. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also not there, the floor was very ordinary and the table that was assigned to us was sticky and the two small plates that were on the table were stuck to it. We wanted the beef steak and we were told there was no more and that it was replaced by a sirloin and at the same price $50!!!! Our experience at this restaurant was very unpleasant. Disappointing experience. It was our first visit to this place. First, we asked for a place on the terrace. We were never informed that the terrace was not open. We were told this only when we arrived. Then the floor was very sticky and the table tops too. To top it all off, we were told that what we had chosen, the beef steak, was not available, and that it was replaced by strip steak. Same price $50. Much too expensive. Personally, there was a lot of sinew in the meat (crunchiness). Really unpleasant. The only thing I really liked was the white chocolate crème brûlée. For a bill of over $200 (for two people), we didnt get value for our money. We dont intend to return to this restaurant, even though weve been wanting to try it for a long time. The restaurant really needs a refresh.

The scallop ceviche had extremely hard rice grains. Be careful not to break your teeth. The table next to us mentioned the same thing to the waitress. The problem would have been addressed to the kitchen but we were still served the same thing. I am disappointed that the waitress still recommended this starter to us. As a main course the Duck was good but small portion. Personally I dont like the popcorn in this dish the combination doesnt go well together, soft texture with the sauce and sticks to the teeth. I leave from St Sauveur and 3 people arrive at 8:15 p.m. while they close at 10 p.m. When I return I already see the chef shaking his head while talking to the waitress. She tells us that the kitchen has just closed??? You refuse 3 customers at 1h45 before closing???? No sense

Impeccable, everything was 10/10. You go there and you discover/rediscover classics from another taste perspective. Price follows quality, but I would argue that quality trumps price in everything less. It was DELICIOUS. The group in the kitchen seems to be a real team, having fun together and its always nice to see that and to come and encourage such a team by coming to dinner. I will definitely come back!

Definitely the best restaurant near the cultural space and the Alphonse Desjardins Theater in Repentigny. I heard good things about this restaurant through friends and I can tell you straight away that it exceeded my expectations. The welcome from the waiters is friendly and personalized, the food is varied and excellent and the atmosphere is very warm... The beef tartare is a real delight and the crème brûlée is top notch! The price is not cheap, but it is worth investing in this restaurant! My partner loved the food! We will definitely return! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Visit Saturday August 10. Food is excellent meets expectations vs price. The layout of the tables makes no sense, stacked on top of each other, no privacy, worse than at McDonalds. Sitting in the first section near the aisle, or rather what should be an aisle, between the counter stools, all the customers who entered the restaurant during our meal had to pass between me and the counter stools, they everyone hung up on their passage in addition to the comings and goings of the staff, who also hung up on me practically every time they passed, disturbed more than 40 times during the meal, not very pleasant, even less considering the price of the meal. A service that leaves something to be desired, lack of courtesy, repeated requests, 35 minutes of waiting for dessert. Take your wine and soft drink with you since they dont have any...one thing is certain, for a pleasant dinner with friends on a nice Saturday evening, for us it will be elsewhere...

Excellent meal, really. Too many tables crammed inside leaving very little room for customers and servers to move around. We were constantly bumped into by people moving between the tables and the bar. Not enough staff to serve customers. We waited 30 minutes for dessert, which is prepared in advance and comes from the fridge anyway.

The quality of the table has declined greatly. Prices exploded in the other direction. The room is cluttered with tables, its zero discretion. Servers and clients constantly bump into each other. The reception was good. Young and rather inexperienced servers. We dont explain the menu. No more wine service. We give dessert and forget the utensils. The only toilet is not that clean. The divine foie gras starter, the fresh scallop ceviche but tasteless, the mouthful leaves something to be desired, the Norman trou much too sweet, undrinkable, the cod ok with some asparagus but meh for the price its not much, the classic beef tartare from the place very good, the frozen nougatine desserts downright bad at this price and its a steal. The evening doesnt make you want to come back like in the past

Very disappointing... a restaurant that I have loved for a long time but this time, fish not cooked inside, tough duck... all dipped in a lot of sauce to cover up the lack of taste and seasoning. What a great experience to be able to sit so close to the kitchen in front of the chef/owner. Dishes served with love, tasty and at affordable prices for the very good quality of the ingredients. We were treated to a little extra off the menu which was simply sublime. Thank you for this great experience. We will come back soon

Tables that are too close together, music that stops and starts again, questionable cleanliness in the open concept kitchen, pieces of pre-cooked meat that remain all evening under the ventilation above the kitchen and cold food left on the counter, dirty bathroom with notably a dried brown mark on the wall next to the toilet, $38 pasta dish bathed in pesto soup so the langoustine in small pieces tastes almost nothing, waitresses overwhelmed so very minimal service while the 4 chefs shout Service and wait while repeating Service.

Wow, what a culinary adventure this evening. An excellent brigade of young talent supervised by Mike. Congratulations to Dave, Will, Jos and Carie Anne, the intern from the Laval hotel management school. The Asian pig ears were divine. What can we say about caviar Phew reserved for fine palates. Nowadays a restaurant that offers caviar by the piece is daring but successful. This is not within the reach of all budgets. The scallops with bacon were impeccable, the beetroot tagliatelle was deliciously eaten by my partner. The sauces are executed to perfection. It is very rare to bring your wine with this culinary precision. Sarah-Maude, Sandrine and the others at the service do a remarkable job. Gaétans work, although discreet, is effective. Do we recommend? DEFINITELY

Le Coup Monté is our favorite gourmet restaurant in the region. We go there 4-5 times a year and we are never disappointed. The dishes are sought after and change regularly. If they have foie gra on the menu, you absolutely have to try it, it s the best I ve eaten! We can bring our own wine. The atmosphere and service are impeccable. The price is fair for what you eat there. Restricted parking, but you can park at the Desjardins cash register across the street.

I give it a rating of 2 because the quality of the dish is consistent, but dont go there with children because there is no menu and 16 dollars for buttered paws is just unacceptable! In summary, much too expensive and without explanation at reception (yes, you have to bring your wine).

The carrots + currants bring a lot of sugar and in my opinion it was missing a little something to cut the sugar. The sauce took up all the space. Otherwise its worth trying. Small bistro restaurant to take your wine. A little noisy and crowded but chef Mathieus food makes up for it. Superb starters Delicious tuna tataiki meal first time. Second larger restaurant same formula at LAssomption. Delicious desserts!

Beautiful, creative and gourmet menu. I found everything quite expensive though, between $33 and $42 for a main course. I took two starters so I could diversify and taste several things without losing my shirt. Good service in general, nice presentation and explanations of the menu. Cozy atmosphere with a view of the kitchen. Some people found it too hot because of the open kitchen, but for my part I was comfortable. (We were served by Sarah-Maude last night.)

The food was not very hot.

Tartare lacks taste and overcooked duck. Good service. Nice atmosphere.
