What a nice restaurant! I came here with a couple of friends for a Thursday brunch, and it was delicious! Food was really great and quite reasonably priced. The vibes of the restaurant are nice too! Will definitely be returning :)
My friends had invited me to this restaurant twice, and I finally got the chance to visit today. Unlike most brunch spots that are typically small, this place is spacious and perfect for accommodating large groups. The food was absolutely delicious. I was especially impressed by the octopus salad—beautifully plated and incredibly flavorful. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The waiter thoughtfully asked if we preferred cold or hot water and even brought us some lemon. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—I’m glad I finally made it!
Great restaurant: variety of dishes, good service, nicely decorated place. A few dishes I don’t really like, but it’s depends on your taste (cold mush potato, for example). I like seafood dishes a lot: salmon tartar, mussels, oysters and clam chowder. Sirloin steak was good. Burger was really delicious. Drinks were tasty: nonalcoholic and alcoholic. Great place for adults and kids as well.
My family and I love going to Chillax and Co.! We are always guaranteed a delicious meal and excellent service. The atmosphere is wonderful and there are plenty of mouth watering Asian fusion dishes to choose from. The seafood pasta is a must! Would definitely recommend to everyone.
Beautiful setting. Came here to chill with a friend, so we only ordered dessert and drinks. The place is nicely decorated, roomy yet welcoming. The staff were friendly and the desserts were amazing. Would come back for brunch or dinner soon.
Tldr - fresh, friendly, fundamental finesse Food - Got smoked salmon on avocado toast. It was presented very well, was fresh and had a good complement of different flavour profiles. Compared to what I’d pay in my home town, this was excellent value. Service - They use a web app menu system, which is really nice as each item will show a photo, a description and pricing. While I can’t confirm, I’d assume they could 86 something without the guest even knowing. The host was quick and helpful, asking if I’d been there before and if I had any allergies. While this ‘should’ be normal, it just isn’t everywhere you go. While checking in on me, the server (Michael) was also very personable and spoke with an uninhibited pride with the company. He was excited about me enjoying the time, and made some extra menu recommendations when we spoke about Vietnamese food. Atmosphere - Red brick wall, wooden accents, lots of plants, good sound treatment, well balanced music (not loud, not harsh, not muddy). Conclusion - Don’t miss out. Easy recommendation. It’s a good value for food, you won’t feel like ‘another customer’ and you can definitely lower your cortisol levels (look it up). Frankly, if you want to support a SMART business, you’d be a fool not to try. I had to write this while finishing my coffee so I didn’t forget, as they deserve the recognition. Merci,
I came for dinner and ordered the steak. It was cooked to the doneness that I requested, but the steak was a bit tougher than expected. Pretty small portion of fries included. The pate was good. Would recommend it. The seafood pasta was pretty good - lots of toppings included.
I went with family, staffs were very friendly. their latte were good. impressed by the latte art, as you can see there is heart and one is seahorse. food was good. Fusion and good variety. eggs Benedict was good, perfectly done. would come back again.
I go to this place for a special dinner On my sons birthday Everything looks simple A wonderful menu It makes our family very happy. Good service staff Until I couldnt resist giving back, he gave a Black Forest cake to my son. Ready to write Happy Birthday, HBD and birthday candles. The face was very impressive. Unfortunately, we werent able to take photos of the food in time. Parking: You can park immediately in front of the store. convenient entrance There is a staff available, you can reserve in advance.
We live in the area and decided to give Chillax a try. What a nice surprise. Place is nicely decorated with comfortable chairs. Menu is varied and food presentation is beautiful. Prices are reasonable for food quality, alcoholic drinks and restaurant vibe. Will definitely return often.
How do you not have pop!? I asked for a coke and the waiter told me we don t offer that stuff here
Food is delicious. We love this place. 100% recommend
Amazing place to eat. The vibes are chill, customer service is amazing, and food is delicious. 100% recommend. Will be coming back
This establishment consistently provides excellent food and service. I always reserve a table in advance.
Marine was our server she is so friendly and hard worker we loved the service and for sure we will come back
Very good and always fresh
Loved the vibe and the crowd. Everyone were ok with breakfast . I loved my omelette, juicy and tasty, I wish it would ve come with little pot or a like other dishes and wish coffee was refillable or the size of specialty coffee were bigger. Was a bit confusing to check out the food on iPad first but turned out ok as we could split bill at the end. We love crowded brunch places and it had a great Christmas vibe. All in all good place for brunch and recommendable.
This is one of the things we ve been missing in Richmond hill for a long time. A good quality, affordable brunch place with delicious options and a good atmosphere. The coffee was amazing and so was the food. The service and atmosphere was 10 out of 10.
Great spot! Food was really delicious, service was excellent. Would definitely love to come here again and try other dishes.
Chillax is our usual weekend spot. Food and service is always amazing here and my super picky son also enjoys the food here alot. We decided to place a large order here for his birthday a few weeks ago. I do not believe Chillax typically have large catering style orders but they were able to accomodate my order and it also exceeded our expectations. We ordered a variety of mini tacos, fried chicken waffles, and some sliders (kid friendly version). Food was prepared on time and packaged with care. Everything was super tasty even after leaving it for a bit at room temperature. The chicken was still crispy too! Leftovers were still good the next day as well. We would definately consider doing another large order with Chillax!
The staff were attentive and friendly, food was good. Nice take on a fusion restaurant!
Food ingredients are of high quality, there are various western and asian food options, service is super attentive. Many thanks to Isaac giving excellent service during our dinner. Overall atmosphere is good, like the decor, high ceiling, seating arrangement.
We went there for a brunch, they dont have a paper menu and they force you to use their QR code and order online! Therefore I didnt have a chance to ask them to remove the gluten materials and they brought my breakfast with bread which I didnt want. Also as a branch destination I expect them to fill my coffee every time I finish it. This is a branch tradition almost everywhere in the world, which they didnt follow at all. Didnt like the service in general. I ordered smoked salmon egg Benedict, the salmon wasnt fresh. And this portion was very small for a branch. Not recommended.
Dinner at Chillax & Co. was awesome! The vibe was super cozy, and the staff made us feel right at home. Every dish was on point fresh, tasty, and with flavors that really popped. It s the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend!
Very noisy. Food is okay. Order online and gets delivered when ready
Super good food. Great customer service and atmosphere. It is the go-to spot to relax and meet old friends. Only thing not so great is the price of basic items on the menu. If you have money to spare and not looking for maximum value, but the taste and atmosphere, this is the place to be. Parking can be tight sometimes.
I like the place. Will return
Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs and the womens washroom has a diaper change table Food
Had brunch last week. Ordered the eggs Benedict with the pork. Unfortunately the eggs were really runny (and just lukewarm) and made everything wet on the plate. The English muffin was barely toasted as well. It seems that they prepare the eggs in advance, hence the temperature. They really should make them when ordered and ask how you would like them done. For the 3 of us, with tip, it was almost $100. I won t be coming back.
Great service& fresh food Parking: Lots of parking in mornings Food : 5/5 |
The server Jason is very helpful
Tried 2 different ramen plates. I really liked them. The atmosphere is great, and the service comes with free smiles!
It was unbelievably crowded on a Sunday noon, glad we got a sear by the window. The chicken was great, the only down side is that they were not hot enough when they were served.
Very nice ambiance, also very good service. However, my salmon sandwich was average with a thin layer of guacamole, making bread soggy and thin slice of salmon on top. It was way too mediocre for the price of 20$. But coffee was awesome Food
Just about perfect in every way. Ambiance, music, service, and food are absolutely top notch, and I cannot think of a single thing to make this place better. The best brunch spot I ve ever been to I think.
Kind and helpful staff, and the food was delicious
A breakdown of what we ordered: Eggs benny with smoked salmon, mango mixed berry lychee soda, and a raspberry eclair. - excellent side potatoes they were a highlight. super soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. - soda and eclair weren t too sweet, and had a great mango/raspberry flavour Laksa with oven roasted chicken, mint yuzu soda, and a matcha soft serve (fall special). - broth was a little lacking for me, but the chicken was so good. it wasn t dry and they were generous with their portion. for some reason the soft boiled egg tastes a little sour? - soda was ok! nothing to write home about but still good - matcha soft serves was so good, they were also generous with their portion the service here is good too. you ordered online but the wait staff are super attentive and food came out so fast.
Our new favorite spot in Richmond Hill. Everyone and everything is top notch! Including the friendly manager. Definitely recommend.
Worth a try. Food is tasty. Highly recommended.
Food is interesting and fusion man!
First time for me.. Absolutely casual, good food, and the service was great! Enjoyed my dinner. Kid-friendliness: Yes absolutely..while I was having dinner..a family arrived with children.
Chillax & Co. is the go to place for brunch. Food is good, drink is good. Servers gets a little bit overwhelm when its a full house but still good.
Came here with my family to eat lunch, the food was delicious and the service was awesome!
What a deal, not only fresh but also delicious. The hostess was extremely helpful in selecting my meal but recommended a lovely drink.
I have been there twice. Both times delicious food and wonderful service. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Theres a waitor that always comes up to your table with a smile and asks if the food is okay. My family and friends love this place. I will come back again for sure.
We had an amazing time dining here while celebrating my mother-in-law s birthday. The night was even better than we expected, filled with fun and great food. My daughter loved the seafood linguine black edition. She was so excited about the squid ink that made each bite an adventure for her. The fall special, Organic Premium Uji Matcha soft serve, and the Creamy Clam Chowder were both delicious. The service was fantastic, and we really enjoyed ourselves. To top it all off, the manager surprised my daughter with a raspberry pistachio éclair, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. It made our night even more special!
**UPDATE** - SEPT 2024 Im so happy to change the review I posted last year! Had brunch there yesterday & thoroughly enjoyed a completely improved experience. All the elements are the same: great location (walkable from my place), interior is REALLY pretty & inviting, appealing menu. We were greeted warmly & seated immediately upon arriving & ordered via the QR code (efficient!). Ordering this way doesnt replace the staff .... if anything, this encourages the staff to make sure everyone understands the process, answering questions, being super friendly, etc. Our food arrived without issue & in good time. (One small suggestion: orders should arrive at the same time; her salad sat at our table for about 10 min until my egg order was cooked & placed in front of me.) Food was fresh & tasty. CHILLAX is a really good neighbourhood resto & Im happy to change my previous post. Ill be back, looking forward to taste-testing that drink menu . ORIGINAL POST The place has potential ... menu is really interesting, blending Asian & Continental cuisine, and a drink menu I hope to try one day. Restaurant service has to be tight, and this wasnt at all. Our coffee sat at the bar for ten minutes until it was brought over. My meal arrived minutes before my husbands ... not ideal as we did want to eat at the same time, though that wasnt the real issue. His meal was still cooking & would be at our table in a few minutes. It was, as promised, within 3 minutes. He ordered the fried chicken & waffles, the chicken arrived soft & not at all crispy, and barely warm. We waited at least 25 minutes before my omelette was served. We sat for at least 15 minutes before waving for the wait staffs attention. The waitress apologized profusely, saying the resto is only one month open. Totally get that. However, given that EVERY aspect of this visit was a waiting game (no one came by to ask how was the food, no one came by to refresh our coffee, etc.), it seems that no one there has any real service industry experience/knowledge. If anyone there does, either they didnt work today or service isnt the restaurants goal. I reiterate - the place has potential ... tighten the ship and it could be successful.
We came for brunch and managed to snag a table - otherwise the place was full and had a constant stream of people in and out. I got the gochujang fried chicken burger - SO GOOD and with kimchi inside. Will 100% come back for dinner to check out those menu options!
There are many goods on this restaurant but sometimes one small bad will jeopardize the whole. Food quality, service and prices all are great. But there are way too many food flies that is super annoying. Why cant a restaurant take care of it? Hope the staff could make a change.
The restaurant is beautiful and food was good. I gave this a 3 star because service was not good. They brought out my dish so early by the time my friends food came out, my dish was cold. They also forgot the bottle of wine and it took forever for the bill to come. the restaurant only had a few tables and it wasnt busy.
Service and food is amazing
Amazing food!! Also very neat containers. The laksa was really good, and the fois gras was amazing. I had the matcha soft serve for dessert and it was great, not too sweet and strong matcha flavor.
Our first tim, I had egg benefict but it was not warm enough and as was eating I found a small hair. I was disgusted, We were only given 10% of the whole bill. I AM NOT RECOMMANDING THIS PLACE.
Arrived around 1pm, no wait. Spacious, lots of plants decorating around the place. We ordered the following: 1. iced latte with oat milk 2. iced Americano 3. smoked salmon Benedict 4. prosciutto Benedict The potatoes were fried just right. Not oily, crispy, although lacks a bit of salt. Can only taste the black pepper. Avocado spread on the English muffin, which gives it a nice touch. Quick service, and friendly staff. Would return.
The spaghetti was cold and not tasty, and the portion size was small overall, particularly the salmon dish.
Good brunch. Excellent service.
This place is great, I really like the vibe. Food and coffee were tasty, and servers are so nice! It s that kind of places to become your weekend tradition and your favorite spot.
Excellent delicious food and great service with a beautiful ambiance, it was our second time and we will go once a week , Isac was so professional and nice
Great food choices. Very tasty. A bit noisy and not cheap, but the quality is there.
Everything is AMAZING about this place. You need to go check it out!
Good food and drinks for brunch thats Asian inspired. The hojicha latte was great as was the chicken & waffle. The fries werent anything special though.
Excellent!!!
My wife and I visited Chillax and Co. in Richmond Hill for the first time today and had an amazing experience. Ian, our greeter, was welcoming and extremely helpful in recommending the best vegetarian options, despite the limited choices. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the cozy ambiance made it even better. A must-visit for anyone looking for great food and a warm, relaxing vibe. Keep up the great work and we shall surely be back! Thanks so much!
I ve been a returning customer for brunch here, with this being my third visit in just over a month. Unfortunately, this time, the experience left a lot to be desired. I ordered an iced latte, but it took far too long to arrive. Even the table next to mine, who was seated after me, received their drinks before I did. After some time, I noticed a server had delivered an iced latte to another table. It turns out, the drink was actually meant for me, but the server didn t realize this mistake for several minutes. What really bothered me was that instead of preparing a new drink, the server retrieved the same cup from the other table and, after walking around the restaurant, brought it to me. I recognized it was the same cup because when it was freshly brought to the wrong table, the separation between the coffee and milk was still visible. By the time the server retrieved it, the layers had already mixed together. The cup that the server delivered to me shortly after retrieving it looked exactly the same clearly it had been made for some time, as the layers had already mixed together. Considering it was an open-mouth cup and I saw the other customers talking near it, I felt extremely uncomfortable. This lack of care for hygiene and attention to detail left a bad impression. Although my previous visits and interactions with other servers were positive, today s experience left me disappointed. Sadly, I won t be returning after this. Attached is a picture of my dining table along with the date and time, in case the owner wishes to look into it.
I recently visited Chillax & Co and had an amazing dining experience. We ordered the Grilled Pork Jowl Ramen, Laksa Curry Noodle Soup, and Fried Chicken Ramen. Each dish was absolutely delicious, with beautiful presentation that made everything even more appealing. Our waiter, Issac, was incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. He took the time to explain all the details of the dishes and provided an excellent suggestion. His attentive service really elevated our experience. Highly recommend this place! Five stars all the way!
It s a very nice environment. Our waiter Jason was amazing. He was nice & polite.
Jason did a fantastic job! He dd over and beyond customer service. Keep up with your great work!
Loved his place from start to finish and look forward to going back with my whole family. The atmosphere was beautiful and calming, our server was kind and helpful and the food arrived hot and fresh. Had the traditional breakfast. Eggs were cooked the way I liked it, crispy and delicious potatoes and the little tuna/potato salad was a surprising and flavourful addition. Also had the cheese Americano - something I never tried before- and loved it. Will get that again, the next time I visit. Update: Did a family brunch here and again, loved the food and service. Great atmosphere for our family to catch-up and enjoy a delicious meal. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available
Delicious Food, Disappointing Service I recently dined here and was initially impressed by the quality of the food. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the lackluster service. The staff seemed to be more interested in socializing among themselves than attending to customers. We waited for an extended period without being checked on or offered refills for our drinks. It wasnt until we flagged down a server that our water glasses were finally replenished. While the food was certainly a highlight, the subpar service left a sour taste in my mouth. I would be hesitant to recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options
Great service and delicious food! Highly recommended!
Great interior, excellent food, outstanding customer service. Highly recommended!
This is a spot I visit frequently for brunch and dinner. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. The fusion-style cuisine and creative beverages are impressive. Love their salad dressing! Highly recommended!
this restaurant was unforgettable as it was a perfect blend of delicious food, wonderful ambiance and excellent service. A good place to have an amazing time with your family, friends Food
Great service and food
Great coffee. I recommend the pistaccio iced coffee.
Excellent food quality, friendly staff and good dinning environment. Must try restaurant in Richmond hill.
Food tasty but little options gor vegetarian, service was good but very slow.
Not eating here again, your menu online doesnt work. Took you guys 20 mins to even ask if I place my order. Worst brunch I had In the GTA
Everything is great here. The food is delicious. The staffs are so nice here. The cocktail here looks so beautiful and nice
My friends recommended that restaurant to me and it was a perfect dining experience. The host explain the menu very detail, he familiar the menu every detail and suggest the Chashu Ramen with black garlic oil, it was amazing. And I also order the Oat Hazelnut Latte, the oat milk taste very rich compare to the other coffee shop or cafe. Good location, great service, good coffee, great food, definitely will come back for the future!
Great food
I had the Laska noodle soup and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was a great mix of sweet and spicy. Very friendly and attentive service. I will be back again for sure.
Great food great service
Great food, friendly staff, and a perfect vibe!
Okay, the cafe itself has a beautiful decorated interior with greenery (fake) and exposed brick and a rustic/cottage feel to it. The service was quick and all orders were conducted through the phone. The food came out within ten minutes (the lattes took longer actually). The food itself wasn t the best. We got chicken and waffles and smoked salmon salad and honestly it was small portions and a little underwhelming. For parking, that plaza can get busy during lunch hour so be aware of that, we had to park in the adjacent gas station lol.
The food was delicious and delivered promptly.
First visit and we will be back. Service was the best I have seen in a long time. Food was delicious and presentation was exactly like menu photos. Light and airy atmosphere. Thank you, Chillax & Co!
The food looked exactly like the pictures on the menu and tasted even better. The service was excellent and we will definitely be going back. Dietary restrictions: Asked about food allergies several times. Very good
A lovely breakfast/ lunch place with nice and tasty options. The atmosphere and the service were very good. We tried the omelet and one of the eggs benedicts and they were both very delicious. The coffee was great too.
Great service !very nice waiters !thoughtful about every small things, comfortable and pleasured atmosphere ,really inviting!
We ate dinner here for a table of 3 and the food was delicious. The clam chowder was really good and the shrimp for the seafood rice dish was really fresh! Portions were filling and service was great. We would definitely be coming back!
love the coffee and the brunch! I like the chicken breast toca and the yam fries.
Nice trendy atmosphere, very green and lush setting. Service was great - staff were attentive and friendly. Would come back here and try their dinner menu next :). Peanut Ramen with Chicken, Seafood Laksa and Avocado Salmon Salad.
I was excited food looked decent on Google but got oil for Hollandaise sauce & bread was poorly toasted, not worth it.
Food was amazing, service was even better and environment clean and cozy.
So one order was wrong which could have been easily fixed if our server ever came to see how our meal was. In fact i had to look for him to pay our bill. Poor service means poor or no tip.
What an easy way for us to spend all our time and money 2 steps away from home. The espresso is sweet and delicious. Note that the food is a fusion, every dish has some umami to it. Therefore some of the dishes don t mesh with fries and ketchup. Main dish flavours are surprising and masterful. Food
My friend Cici and I were served by Ian today. It was our first time, but surely not our last. As brunch girlies I must say this place is a must visit if you are in the area. Service is incredibly efficient and quick. Although you order via QR code the servers are very present and excited to assist you with recommendations and placing your order. Ian was especially wonderful. The restaurant is perfect for catching up with friends/loved ones or quick solo lunch. We ordered the mimosa, cappuccino, shrimp cake eggs benny (recommended by Ian and a must-try), chicken salad (loved their take on the classic Caesar), and smoked salmon croissant. Everything was delicious.
Ordered two dishes to share with my girlfriend: one was great (pork ribs) and the other disgusting / flavourless and honestly ruined the experience (spaghetti sukiyaki). Service is pretty terrible as they didn t check up once during the meal when it came time to pay and the server saw we didn t touch the second dish there was no follow up with how they could make it right. Wanted to like the place as it would be a great spot to do dinners / brunches with my fam but bad service and 50% edible food doesn t cut it for me.
The Ramen is the best in town! Highly recommended! Service is wonderful and the pricing for the food and service is exceptional. Parking: Lots of parking.
Love this place.
Great place for all day dining. I really love the vibe! Food
Great food! Quick service! Recommended to you all!
Food is good, except potato are overcooked. The atmosphere is comfortable. However, it is quite noisy during lunch and dinner time.
First time here and the experience was lovely from start to finish. Though it was a full house, the wait time was relatively short and the food and service was great. The cheesy eggs Benedict was delish and the Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen w/ black garlic oil was fantastic. Atmosphere was soothing & music wasn t too loud.
Great ambiance, great setup. Would love to come back again. Food was good but not fantastic. Good selection, relaxing atmosphere.
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Ordered: - Omelet 3.5 / 5 - Cappuccino 2 / 5 Food : 3/5
First time visiting an awesome experience
Amazing food. High quality and great atmosphere. For sure will return
Why I dont gave the service 5 because of the staff forgot 3 coffees & 1 mango pineapple smoothie order until we almost finished half of our foods , we had to remind the waiter for our coffees and smoothie still not came yet , Maybe they are really really busy. I highly recommend their Ramen noodles soup, I ordered the one pork chops with tasty garlic Ramen noodles soup. ..... one more thing both lady and man washroom should be renovate a little bit more spacious and bigger.....( Hardly for adult take the small child to use the washroom )
Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend the mushroom soup as well as the mussels.
Excellent overall experience Parking: Comfortable parking slots available Kid-friendliness: Good place to bring kids too. Wheelchair accessibility: Available
Very nice place to chill and relax with friends or families. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming people. It is very busy location and typically you need to make a reservation.
Food is average, more pricy than the value. Therere flies buzzing around which made me questioned the hygiene of this place. My son had diarrhea all night. I will not return to this place again
Amazing food and great service! The calamari was crispy, the clam chowder was tasty, and the laksa hotpot was so flavorful. Highly recommend!
We visited for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful time. The ambiance and setup were impressive, and the food was excellent with a great selection. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and would love to return.
Excellent food and service! Ordered clam chowder, duck confit, ribeye, pistachi cream latte, iced brown sugar coconut latte.
If you want terrible service and cold food then this is the place to go. The server (when they finally showed up) said the eggs and sparse hollandaise sauce were supposed to be cold. Some parts of my egg were raw, so the server, instead of replacing it, said we ll get a discount. This is ridiculous. They told us there were no menus only QR codes, but when young kids showed up, all of a sudden menus came. All of our food came at different times and some people were finished when others hadn t gotten their food yet. Don t go, save yourself a bad breakfast experience.
The fried chicken waffle and brunch beef ciabatta are particularly delicious! The clam chowder and fried calamari rings for dinner are also a must! The pasta tastes good and the presentation is careful. The seafood risotto tastes a bit strange and not to my liking, so I don t recommend it very much.
This restaurant is so loud due to low ceilings. You can hear word for word what the other table is saying. It is very uncomfortable and no service We had the short ribs twice. The 2nd time had no flavour so quality is not consistent and I have never came back after. Too loud Food
Their service philosophy is to ignore customers. They will not fill your water until you ask them. If the QR code doesn t work, no one will give you real menus and take your order. You will see food around you being served and you begin to wonder if it s something wrong with your race. Then you gain sanity and decide to walk out. I highly suggest Chillax and Co. to train their staff. This location is cursed. Was once Project Fish s location before and another restaurant after. Only a matter of time before the inevitable hype dies down and the restaurant s true subpar nature is revealed.
Food was delicious, servers are super friendly.
Was waiting at the entrance for 10min before someone came greet me and the restaurant wasnt even packed at that time. Several staff walked by the entrance and had eye contact with me but no one said anything. It wouldve been more welcoming if these staff can acknowledge and said someone will come seat you shortly. Ive always liked the atmosphere of this restaurant but that night so many flies flying around and was very annoying.
This one has a much larger space than the other branch, and has more meals. It opens later and has longer business hours. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, the food tastes good, the service staff has a good attitude, and there is a parking space Both locations are next to gas stations
Everything on the menu was amazing but the coffee was out of this world. Cappuccino is a must have over here!!
Amazing place, opened up right next to our building! Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. Would 100% recommend to a friend!
Good restaurant with good food and desert
super good cafe with super good food
I was planning to give this place a five-star review, but one issue held me back: the bathroom was not clean at all. After finishing my breakfast, I visited the bathroom, and it completely took away my good vibe. Regarding the food, I must say it was good, as some of the items were new to me for brunch. We ordered the Cheesy Beef Egg Benedict and The Omelette. The Egg Benedict was really good, and I always love trying new things. The Omelette was good, but nothing special about it. We also ordered mimosas and a pistachio latte. Unfortunately, the mimosa was not good, but the coffee was good. Overall, if the bathroom had been clean, I would have been more than happy to give them five stars. I hope the manager notices this and improves the situation.
It was an amazing experience going there to eat for dinner! Been going there a few times with family and friends!
The restaurant is fairly spacious and nicely designed, and service was friendly and prompt. Our meals also came out quickly despite how busy it was at lunchtime. They also had childrens plates and cutlery for our youngest. We ordered the prosciutto benny, the chicken and waffles, and gochujang fried chicken sandwich, and all were done well and yummy. The French vanilla shake and banana smoothie were also good. Overall, it was a good meal albeit a bit on the pricey side, though not unlike many similar brunch places. We would definitely consider going back!
We had heard about this place for a long time, and finally, our entire family went there for dinner. As many rave reviews had mentioned, it exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the atmosphere and their service made us feel completely at home, despite it being our first visit. They paid attention to every detail and catered to all our needs and requests seamlessly. When the food arrived, each dish was beautifully cooked and presented, showcasing Chillaxs unique and excellent signature style. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff, chefs, and everyone at Chillax for making our dinner tonight so memorable and special!
Food just amazing, very beautiful and green inside!
Busy place. The food and deco were awesome, but serving is a little slow. Its a great place for brunch or lunch. Food
I ve been here a few times. The parking lot for this plaza is small, and took forever to find parking. On today s visit, I ordered the gochujang chicken sandwich. It came with fries and a side salad. The chicken was good, but could have been much, much better. They use the same deep fried chicken in the chicken and waffles on the menu. The gochujang and cheese whiz was directly added on top of the chicken instead of dressed in it which would have made it much better and worthy of the name. This seems lazy on the kitchen. For $19, you get one piece of chicken in brioche bun with gochujang sauce sprayed on like ketchup, while for the same price you can get 3 pieces of fried chicken and some waffles. The value isn t the same. The fries on the side were very disappointing, and very oily that drenched your fingertips every time I grabbed a fry. I had to wipe my fingers every time as evident in the photo and they would leave an oil stain each time. Fries were very soft, wiggly and not crispy at all. To get crispy fries, they need to be dried overnight and double fry to be crispy. The tiny portion of the salad was also very dry and wilted, it was clear this was an afterthought from a pre bought spring mix box. For the price paid, it was not very good value at all. Better execution and technique is needed for this particular item. Chillax & Co. can do much better. Non-spicy eaters should also beware that the batter used in the fried chicken on the menu contains chilly flakes, despite having no mention of it anywhere. The kitchen needs to consider having two different batches of fried chicken, one for the sandwich that s spicy and one for all other menu items that aren t spicy. My dining companion cannot eat spicy food and they thought this was an unpleasant surprise especially as on the menu, it made no mention that the fried chicken would be spicy. Mixed soda drinks were tasty, albeit heavy on the ice. Definitely refreshing and delicious! I d love to try their other mixed soda drinks as there were other choices! Finally, management need to consider implementing a washroom clean up schedule. There was no hand soap in the men s washroom. How this goes unnoticed is unacceptable; consider that many patrons use the washroom and cannot cleanly wash their hands. I had to flag a waitstaff down to let them know of this, and I saw them go to the back and asked the kitchen staff where the handsoap refill for the bathrooms were?? Come on, it s hand soap. I thought about all the patrons walking around with unclean hands while eating. Very disconcerting.
Food is pretty good, portion is not big, considered small for some of them. Rib is very tasty. Place is very good for small group gathering, for large group, they only have very long table so its really hard to social.
Nice place to grab a hot drink, beautiful atmosphere
I found an eggshell in my food. They offered to replace it and I accepted but to be honest, I already lost my appetite and just wanted my money back. They didn t even apologize.
Great brunch menu. I ordered the beef egg Benedict and my daughter enjoyed their pancakes. We didnt order anything from the bar. But the bar was well decorated and welcoming.
Placing order by scanning the QR code. The Japanese-style and Thai curry noodles taste great. Portion of any desserts: pancake, waffles, etc. is gorgeous. Parking: Plenty parking spots in the plaza
Had been here multiple times with consistent delivery of good food! Good for family gathering and chat with friends.
We live nearby in Richmond Hill, but amazingly never tried this spot before! We came for brunch and their brunch menu is awesome! We had Omelette with bacon and cheesy beef eggs Benedict and both were delicious! Food presentation is cool, staff are friendly and welcoming, the place was really chill and the vibe is positive! The contemporary interior design recall the cool cafes in downtown! Overall, so happy to find a new cool place nearby to have our brunch sometimes!
We came here for a nice Mothers Day brunch after hearing amazing things about this place. I actually was expecting a lot wait of an hour or more, but despite this place being packed and a line almost going out the door, the wait was only 15 minutes for our party of two. After getting seated, you can scan the QR code receipt that they tape to your table in order to browse the menu and make an order. They have a large selection of brunch items ranging from pulled pork eggs benedicts (which I highly recommend), smoked salmon salad, Japanese style waffles, and more. They have a separate menu for their dinnertime option that wasnt available in the morning, but I was able to take a browse and might come back again to try them out. Overall, the service was quick/attentive and some of the foods were very tasty. Might come again to try more things. Parking: Small plaza with an even smaller parking lot. If you come when its busy, good luck with parking.
We love the atmosphere as it is feels comfy and the service is superb. The food so far has been ok. Menu looks so delicious! The octopus salad looked great but - the octopus seemed to be microwaved, not freshly grilled, and a little chewy. Also, the almonds in the salad were stale (I roast my own so I am a little picky here) as were the cranberries. I also felt the dressing was tasty but it was too thick and dripped in globs, so it did not spread well over the salad - And the Cortado coffee - Im sorry, but this should be piping hot, not warm... Id come back and try the other foods as I think they were just overwhelmed on Mothers Day.
Great food and service. Wish the coffee was refillable
On a busy Father s Day morning I had great service and food For my first time here, I was in a rush and asked if I could receive fast service. Ben was very nice and attentive, and made sure I was taken care of. The concept of this restaurant is that you scan a QR code and order your meals. You can customize (as seen in photos) and add special requests to your meals through the portal The food was delicious and was put in 15 mins since it was busy. The atmosphere was very nice with the lighting and decor they have. I would definitely return next time
Food: 3.5 Stars Service: 3.5 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 3 Stars Overall: 3.25 Stars My recent visit for brunch was a blend of enjoyable and disappointing moments. Initially, Mari, the hostess, created a welcoming atmosphere with her friendly attitude and insightful recommendations from their unique menu, which combines modern and Asian fusion flavors. I chose the Chicken Waffle. The chicken impressed with its taste and juiciness, contrasting sharply with the dry waffles. However, the Kumquat Lime Berry Soda was a standout, offering a refreshing and thirst-quenching experience. My partners dish, the Cheesy Beef Egg Benedict, had mixed results. The eggs were cooked to perfection, yet the dish was overwhelmed by too much sauce. The side salad, with its well-balanced dressing, was a nice touch. The potatoes, similar to my waffles, were disappointingly dry. A further downside was the Americano, which was more akin to weak coffee than a strong, flavorful cup. We visited on a quiet weekday, finding the ambiance to be serene and welcoming, suitable for both groups and individuals. The place smartly merges cafe vibes with modern diner aesthetics. The seating was comfortable, although the indoor temperature felt a bit cold, exacerbated by the snow outside. In conclusion, while there were some letdowns, the distinctive menu has intrigued me enough to consider a second visit. I am optimistic that with some improvements, particularly in food consistency could become a favoured brunch destination. kellychan360
I came here as a party of 7 on a Thursday evening around 6:30 pm and I was quite surprised during my dining experience with how busy the place was on a weekday! Thankfully we had made reservations prior to, so we were seated immediately. The seating was really nice and spacious, with comfy chairs and booth chairs. The aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful - a place where you can come casually or dress up for a little for a date night or special occasion. The place looked clean. Service was overall quite good. There was one particular server that had a flat affect (not rude though) but the others were very friendly. I, myself, opted for their Pulled Pork Tacos which is actually on the starter menu but definitely could be on the main. They describe the dish as consisting of 3 mini tacos but I think the size is pretty consistent with regular size tacos at your local Mexican spot. They were loaded with pulled pork shoulder, sour cream, cucumbers, then topped with scallions, parmesan cheese, diced bell pepper, and house made chipotle sauce - all served on a crispy shell, which I appreciated was not corn tortilla. The flavors were good without being too salty. Lots of sauce and very juicy, no dry meat here! It was also served with a spring mix salad and french fries which were soft but well seasoned. The presentation was gorgeous. Others at my table ordered their angus burger, ramen, seafood linguini, and seafood rice skillet - all were pleased with their dishes. On average, it was about $20 per person which I personally feel is a little pricey but not unreasonable at all for the quality we received.
Food was ok, however the service was not welcoming at all. We celebrated the birthday there and the server is inhospitality for the whole time, they only active when you pay the bill
Chillax & Co, a fusion restaurant serving different types of cuisine. The Taragon Fried chicken was tender and juicy, the BBQ Pork ribs were also tender where the meat comes right off, the Spanish paella has a lot of seafood toppings such as clam, mussels, shrimp and octopus. Finally tried out their new drink, the cheese Americano; becomes smoother with every sip. Overall very friendly service and will definitely come again.
Chillax & Co. has a wide variety of food options, from ramen, pasta, burgers to steak. It is a good choice for family dinner when each one s preference differs a lot. Their fried chicken is crispy. Ramen and seafood risotto are flavorful. My son ordered mango lychee berry soda. He cannot stop sipping it. The space and atmosphere are also awesome. I would be happy to try the brunch next time
Cheesy Americano is really great. Bitter coffee and sweet cream!
I ve been coming to this place for several times. And enjoyed each time. This time I ordered laksa curry soup and asked to add seafood. So tasty and refreshing. Remind me of tom yum. If you like hot n spicy you should give it a try. My daughter loved her pancakes. So fluffy and baked perfectly.
The place was very nice. The only reason I gave 4 star for service is that it s fairly automated where very little interaction is needed from the servers as you can order via scanning the QR code. Food was delicious which I had the chicken and waffle and my bro had the selected breakfast. The server shared that the place only start getting busy starting at 11am
Fantastic atmosphere and service. The food was terrific!
The one I like most slow cooked octopus salad
First visit here. Got a table very quickly. The menu and ordering is virtual which was amazing. Food came out quick and was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful.
I really like this place. Great vibe, good food and service
love the food and service. sunny and leyla are very nice. Food
My friends and I are impressed with the delicious food and excellent service! Will definitely go again Food
A nice place to hang out
Smoked salmon avocado toast & Smoked salmon Benny: your typical brunch food Service: amazing Interior design very pretty Food : 4/5
This restaurant serves fusion style food. Food is exceptionally good and presentation is beautiful. Price is very reasonable and service is great. The only drawback is it is difficult to find parking spots especially during busy hours, and it could be very frustrating.
Pork Rib was very tender. The steak tartare was great. The cheesecake was especially delicious!
Had the shrimp cake benedict which was very juicy, and the eggs a perfect consistency; and the fois gras chicken liver parfait which was SO good - smooth, with a hint if berries and very buttery. My family was fighting for it at the end LOL. Was a bit of a wait, but it goes pretty fast. Atmosphere and seating was excellent!
We went there on a Tuesday just before lunch time. I got the chicken and waffle, which came with three pieces each and was very good. The white toffee mocha, which was a little more bitter than I expected. I tried a bit of my friends hojicha latte which was very good. You get a QR code for the table and everyone orders directly from your phone to it. Cute decor with lots of plants. A note on the location: the rideshare had no problem getting there, but was difficult getting one to leave (they just kept circling around) and I ended up just walking to somewhere different.
Love the ambiance!! First time here for brunch. Good seatings and not very noisy. Banana avocado smoothies is a must try shrimp cake benefict is tasty. Overall experience is very good. I only think there are not enough staff to serve, but they gave very good service. I will definitely go back again!!
Went here for Brunch. I asked for the Omlette with egg whites and told me they don t do egg whites. What kind of restaurant that serves eggs doesn t serve egg whites?
The foods are so good
As always great food and location
The perfect place to spend time with friends. Good customer service. The shrimp Benedict tastes good and fresh.
