Make people healthy, happy, and pleased by creating world's most delicious chicken.🍗
Chicken was smooth. Sauce was not bad. Kind of expensive though.
The quality of the food has gone down substantially. They are now chopping up and frying pieces of the chicken that is scraps. See my pics below. It’s the backbone spine of the chicken. There were several of these pieces. Try also gave me several ribs. That cannot be considered a piece of chicken that you sell and charge for!!! Please serve chicken pieces with meat on it
Went here with my family and walked into the staff eating at a table and the whole middle isle of table not cleaned and a cleaning cart with cleaning products left right in the middle of the restaurant. We were seated and still the staff continued eating & left 1 server to clean and take orders. Was not impressed with the food. Felt it way to saucy, the golden fried chicken had quite a few pieces that were small (almost like a wing). Overall not impressed, won’t be returning.
One of the top KFC shops has landed at our local H-Mart! It's not just your average Korean fried chicken. BB.Q here stands for Best of the Best Quality with many shop locations worldwide. Let's start with the Golden Original, an olive oil fried boneless chicken dish that tastes light and crispy with tender meat inside. It seems relatively healthy but not quite as good as the red hot Secret Spicy version! The latter was my favourite, brushed in a sweet spicy sauce made of tomato, garlic and onion, and instantly transports your taste buds to Seoul. Bite a bit and then you know! Menu includes both boneless and bone-in options. This was finger-licking fresh out of the box. Imagine having PhDs researching these perfect flavor combinations; that's supposedly what happens at BB.Q's Chicken University. Be sure to order ahead since each batch is made to order and can take 30 minutes with long lines. I had a good feeling, when the first folks I saw leaving H-Mart were carrying 6 boxes! Each large box has 16-20 pcs, so that's serious love for Korean fried chicken.
This is by far my favorite KFC place (Korean fried chicken!). I love the original flavor so much. So crispy and juicy, a little smokey, and sooo good! I found that more recently, I've had a couple pieces of very dry, re-fried chicken. I hope the quality is not going down. But flavor wise, it is still my go to place for chicken. I always recommend this place to friends.
bb.q chicken at H mart food court. Very delicious though they didn't have boneless at the moment I ordered, I still wanna try. Secret sauce is really good, combining mild spicy (to my standard), sweet, and... secret, very well made. I should have taken the pictures beforehand but so irresistible and hungry.
My friend recommended this place, and he said to get the boneless honey garlic chicken. Wow! Super juicy meat, and with a light, crispy coating. The honey garlic taste is exactly how I like it: not super sweet, not offensively garlicky, and with just the right syrupy stickiness. It doesn’t taste like a processed sauce out of a packet or jar. The two things I would suggest: 1)order in advance (we didn’t know this and had to wait 40 minutes), 2) order more than you think you need (a “cup” size is 7-8 pieces. It’s definitely not enough for 2 people, you’ll want more).
Crispy, moist, and tasty Korean fried chicken. Chicken was neither dry nor damp even though I ordered take-out for my entire family. The Hot Spicy flavour was delicious – my favourite! The Mala Hot one and the Garlic flavour were okay. I will return for sure! Edit: Changed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because I ended up visiting this place 6 more times and they were all amazing!! Addicting.
Paid extra for the hot sauce and they only fill half of the little container. Pretty stingy if you ask me. Almost looks like someone ate half and we got the left over.
Can t go wrong with Korean fried chicken! Delicious!
Best KFC in the city.
Ordered 2 different boned in orders and 1 boneless chicken. One the boned in order had too many of the same cut pieces with no meat. Im very disappointed.
Great atmosphere and food
Source is a little bit heavy and is below my expectation
It was so bad. I ordered soy garlic and secret sauces chicken. I couldn t believe how bad it is. I think the owner has changed. It wasn t bad 2 years ago. The soy garlic and seasoned chicken both had similar sauce tastes and both had no taste at all. I really wanted to throw it in the trash can. The price was so wicked that I couldnt throw it away because it was over 50 bule. Dont go to the bbq chicken in hmarr dont go to bbq chicken in hmart .
Honey garlic chicken is really great! The chicken got juicier and crispier than the last time I ve had it. Amazing yesterday.
Great
Very good sauce for the chicken
Secret sauce boneless chicken tastes great and includes a side of pickled radishes. The portion is definitely not 1.2lbs though. The price is quite expensive ($26) for a food court spot. Also because all the meat is chicken thighs. This is comparable to the bbq chicken in Downtown Markham without the eat-in service.
Went to H-Mart, the food court one. A bit disappointed with the bone in fried chicken special. Lots of batter, saucy, pieces was crispy. Chicken cut was heavily fragmented, some had decent meat, while others had nearly nothing. Quite pricey for mediocre quality. Staff wasnt friendly, no thank you or a smile. Maybe others might have a different experience.
I bought chicken from here many times before, but recently ordered takeout for the first time. I made the order by phone for pickup, and when I arrived at the pickup time, the staff was quite busy. The 1 star for service is due to the fact that none of the staff members even acknowledged my presence at the counter. It was as if they were pretending not to see me. I understand they were busy, but a simple be with you in a minute would have sufficed. Nope, they all collectively pretended like Im just invisible to them. When one of the ladies eventually brought my order out, she simply stashed it on the shelf behind the counter without asking why Im here. Again, pretending that she didnt see me at all. I had to yell excuse me! several times to get her attention to tell her that Im here to grab the order she just stashed on the shelf. Food is great as usual, but the service was just BIZARRE for a lack of a better word.
This is terrible it is not honesty to sell customer. Actually 1.2lb no born chicken But not enough!! When I opened box it is too small all pieces. Do your business honestly!!! The amount is reduced from the beginning, the price is the same, the taste is worse, and it is less than the specified amount. Is it okay to trick a customer? If you look at the weight registered on Skip, it is 1.2lb, but it is 380g. It was so absurd that I measured it on a scale. Where do you put your conscience before doing business?
Tried the hot and spicy chicken, tasted nice. The order however took forever to arrive and parking was the biggest hassle.
Fried chicken tastes good for me. Improved a lot compared with my last visit.
Always a great experience when we order from this location. Food is great, and great service.
Best chicken I ve ever had
I got the golden fried chicken from the Richmond hill location on Valleymede road and I must say that their chicken pieces were so small that for around $3 per piece is not worth it.when you see the Korean dramas eating the fried chicken,it comes with big thigh or leg pieces but this store is giving smaller pieces so I am not planning to go back there .The taste of the chicken was good.
Delicious chicken and quite fast. Highly recommend.
Scammers. I ordered BB Wing, which is 22 dollars plus tax, and I got 0.5 pounds of chicken wings and drums, with 1 layer of french fries covering the bottom, which is not even included in product description. All other branches of bb.q gives you 1.2 pound of chicken for exact name menu (the BB wing). And they dont try to scam the weight with french fries. Dont pay 25 dollars for half a pound of chicken from here. Order from other branch of bb.q
Tried this for my first time and experience was mixed. Ultimately, I think the food is delicious. I ordered online about an hour and a half agreed because I saw reviews that said it takes a while. My order was scheduled for pick up at 6:30pm. When I arrived, they said my order has also just come in, even though I placed it almost two hours earlier for PICK UP at 6:30pm (yes, I triple checked the eMail confirmation). They put a rush on my order, but in the end I m pretty sure I was given the wrong food (when I got home I saw someone else s name and order sticker on my bag). I left a phone message letting them know and asking to be called back, but no one ever responded (over a week ago). The portions are big, but also super expensive for fried chicken. I d say value is so, so. But this location was new and the food was yummy enough that I will give them another chance. Staff was friendly, just didn t actually deliver on what I expected as a customer and never got back to me on my wrong order which kinda sucked
Naturally, great Korean Fried Chicken can be found inside an H-Mart, part of the mini food court. Crispy, tender, juicy, blasting with flavour, a bit costly but so worth it. It takes about 20 mins to prepare so best to order ahead or go for a walk in H-Mart (they give you a pager). Kentucky Fried Chicken is no longer a thought when Korean Fried Chicken exists. Though I still do Popeyes, Mary Browns, and Churchs, just not as much as Korean FC.
THE best fried chicken wings, in my opinion.
So expensive. No tissue paper even. My kids asked them for tissue paper, refused. So .
Portion is way smaller than any other bbq chicken. Also cannot dine in. Really disappointed compared to other locations. With that price I would go other Korean chicken places. Not recommending this location. If I didn t eat together with my friend I would get her order and she will get mine
I ordered chicken pieces and a wing combo (through Uber eats). Ive never tried this location before, not impressed. The fries in the combo were soggy and sitting in the wing sauce. There were hardly any fries at all. Not worth the price.
One of the best! CheeseBalls 10/10
food is good
So juicy! Good portion! Even with food delivery it came hot and fresh would recommend worth the money Food
I ordered takeout, but the chicken wasnt crispy and the seasoning was boring! The price seems generally expensive.
Boneless chicken is so soft and delicious^^
This place is amazing. Its me go to for korean fried chicken and the portions are crazy
So I had to call them 7 times just to place an order. They do pick up but it seems like they just pick up and put it aside, since I could hear the conversations but they were not taking to me. During the 7th try, they did talk to me; one time a guy then another a girl. Unfortunately, they couldn t speak English or Korean. The guy was mumbling the same thing repeatedly. It wasn t even funny. Then, they told me that it would take about 30 minutes. I arrived there after 30 minutes and still waited for another 15 minutes. Anyways, as for the fried chicken itself, it was mediocre at best. I ve been to this location several times and it used to be good. It seems like the quality is going down every visit. This time, it was just Secret Spicy that I ordered and it tasted strange, as if the sauce was mixed with another type. Still, they are keeping their pricing largely the same, while all the other similar restaurants are pushing them up like crazy, so that s a good thing. So, for the best experience with them, just place an order in person, and then browse or shop around the H-Mart while you wait.
The chicken is delicious, the waiting time is too long and the price is a bit high
We ordered Golden Fried Chicken favor but compared to Popeyes which seems tasted much better
Great tasting Korean style fried chicken just like what we had is Seoul. Such a crispy shell on the outside. Gangnam is a must try.
Have to call many times and they will hang up on you lol. Their excuse was too many calls coming in so the line does not work time to time.
Quality has substantially gone down. Would not return or recommend.
Its inside Hmart. A popular fried chicken style from Korea. Apparently they only use fresh chickens. If you order a whole chicken, they cut up a whole chicken for you. Without a ton of batter hanging from it. A bunch of different flavors if you dont want plain. It says bbq but its fried chicken . The bbq stands for best ...... quality or something like that.
yummy
These location literally hung up on me 20+ times continuously for 30 mins from 7:00pm -7:30pm on March 05/22 - I just wanted to make an order because I have 3 small children at home that need dinner! I ended up just calling in repeatedly to see exactly how many times they would just hang up on me. They did not disappoint. It became comical after 20 times. Not to mention completely unacceptable. Super poor service and no sense of responsibility to the community.
Get the regular golden fried chicken. Crispy outside and moist inside.
Been told the waiting time is about 35mins, end up waited for more than an hour..... First time ever in my life waited for more than an hour for fried chicken...... Chicken are fresh and juicy. Portion is relatively small. A bit pricey.
The service was great
So dam good . Specialty sauce awsome.
Now its a shame to give it one star. It used to be okay, but today I ordered half red and half soy garlic, but it seems to be losing its flavor now. Im never going again.
Avoid the cheese ball at allll cost! I ve been to korea and had my fill of deep fried cheese balls and this one was not it. Was not crispy on the outside and the texture seems off. Its like a sweet cheese mochi timbit. The price is also on the higher end, $10 for 6 balls, definitely not worth. I didnt realize until now, I looked it up online that its not cheese, its cream cheese. To be fair, its a fried chicken restaurant, but why heavily advertise the cheese balls on social media when its not even the same deep fried cheese ball thats trending atm
One of the better Korean fried chicken joints in town located within H Mart. Be prepared to wait 15-20 mins as they make it fresh. I ordered the 8 piece with Korean secret sauce, you can choose their other sauce options. Their secret sauce was a little sweet, sour and spicy, I really liked it.
The chicken is very good. We really enjoyed that.
Sooooo juicy and delicious wowowow!!! Pretty decent prices and comes with fries too!
Ordered the boneless golden fried chicken and after eating a bite, had an allergic reaction. I have a severe peanut allergy and the menu had NO mention of containing peanuts. Please add a warning to the menu!!!
My favourite fried chicken.
Very crispy fried chicken, worth to wait.
Had good experience at this location before but this time it s really bad. 5 of out the 7 wings in the wing combo were drumettes. So disappointed when I finished one wingette and found I only have one left. And you can see from the picture how stingy they were on the fries.
Their fried chicken i have to say is pretty good. However, wont go back anymore because of their bad service. The one star is for their service. One of their worker, a senior lady was stingy! She refused to give me one more pack of ketchup. Come on?! It just a regular ketchup that u can buy and see everywhere. It s not like a house special ketchup that may cost more. It is a ketchup ok?! Why been so mean! Ruined my dining experience. I cannot finish all the fries coz i dont have enough ketchup to go with it!
Low quality and overpriced.
Best Korean chicken I ve had! My go-to place for fried chicken!
Delicious. Make sure you eat immediately at the food court
Found the food to sweet and cold by the time I got home. We had ordered bbq half a chicken. The fries were not enough and cold. Unlikely to try it again.
This was my first time trying Korean fried chicken, we had the original and this spicy chicken wing combo. Me personally I enjoyed the original more than the spicy, the spicy chicken wasnt as hot as I wanted it to be but it was still good. Would gladly come back and try other flavors!
Good place. Very delicious
Red Chak-Chak Korean Fried Chicken. Bbq chicken is one of my favourite Korean fried chicken restaurants. They serve many unique flavours. The red chak-chak chicken is a new flavour that I tried for the first time and tasted pretty good! Make sure to order advance as takes around 30 minutes to fry the chicken.
Korean food is the best. My cravings satisfied
Chicken had good Korean favour. Not too spicy and with sweet BBQ sauce. Yummy
Awful customer service. Dont get surprised if you get yelled at asking the price.
The amount is gradually decreasing and only the dry flesh is increasing..
The secret spicy fries and chicken is amazing
First time getting takeout from bb.q chicken inside H mart. It s pricey! But tastes great. I recommend golden original fried chicken without bones. It s spicy from the pepper. The secret spicy is exactly like chinese sweet and sour chicken. The honey garlic isn t flavourful but still tastes good.
Great taste but you have to order half an hour in advance...
I think the price is a bit expensive compared to the taste.
Really delicious, not greasy and crunchy fried chicken Loved the golden chicken and the spicy chicken, just wish they were a little more meaty but regardless will definitely be back for more
Friendly staff, tasty chicken...the scent of olive oil makes the difference.
Provide quality food appropriate for the price.
Amazing food
A bit overrated in my opinion. I tried the Cheesling Chicken but it wasnt that heavy of cheese. Definitely disappointing to cheese lovers.
Not as advertised. Ordered cheesling cup chicken but found only 6 pieces in a box, AGAIN! It should have 7-8 pieces as it is written on the menu. I hope they make improvements on this issue.
After a few dozen phone calls, I finally answered the phone and asked why I couldnt get through to them. I have a lot of work ahead of me. I thought I was talking to a friend... Hire more people... The seasoning is gone. Look at the picture.
Good food
This is one of the best fried chicken spots to go to. So delicious!!! They have friendly staff and deliver quick service. I had the Cheesling wings and were amazing.
Ordered a small fried boneless chicken with honey garlic sauce. They were freshly prepared. The chicken was pretty moist and tender.
Obsessed with this Korean Fried Chicken spot that is inside H-Mart. Apparently this is a well known korean fried Chicken spot (according to my cousin) and I dont know what it is - I am hooked. The chicken is juicy and full of flavour and you get the option to go half and half - one side with sauce and without sauce. I recommend doing the half and half so you can try both worlds. Additionally, you can get the option with bone or without bone; I usually go without bone cause thats just what I like :). You should definitely give this spot a shot when your going shopping for your groceries and your craving fried chicken! This spot is by far my favourite grocery store fried chicken I have ever experienced!
Pretty fast service for fresh fried chicken. The chicken was very good. Large pieces that were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Would definitely go again
No need to say about it because One of the good Korean BBQ chicken usually juice with bone in. Just remember to order ahead because usually wait for 20 to 30 min for a takeout order
The best Korean Fried Chicken in TO. They have several locations including a cafe and in the food court of Hmart. My fav is the special spicy sauce. Highly recommended
Several of the chicken jerky items I purchased recently had the same taste.
The dim sum is delicious and the side dishes are of good quality
expensive, nothing special
*ALLERGY ALERT* Our group ordered a whole chicken of spicy and original and it was very good! But, 20 minutes after I had a pretty serious allergic reaction to the chicken, and it was a very unpleasant experience. After, we called the restaurant and they said that there is peanut powder in some of the chicken . Yes there is a allergy disclaimer on the menu saying that it may contain peanuts, but if you have peanut powder in the food you should write that clearly on the menu and every other possible channel of communication with the customer!!!
Bland seasoning and tough chicken, maybe because I ordered close to closing time.
The best
Online order The person who answered the phone had an extremely bad attitude. Is he about to die? ?
I go to this place once awhile. tried hot sauce but always liked original flavour. When we brought it home it was all cooled down but still very crispy! one of my family thinks its little dry but others were happy as how it was.
Does not mention clearly that they put peanuts in their food! They should definitely label it way more clearly. My friend had a major peanut reaction and no where does it say anywhere near the chicken options that they have peanuts. Very bad!
PEANUT ALLERGY WARNING: it s not very obvious as there are no peanut symbols on the menu (TV & paper menu), but my brother had an allergic reaction to the fried chicken I later looked at the photos and all they have is a small sign that says it may contain soy, wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts. Be careful everyone!!!! Other than that, it was fresh and delicious!! It takes time to make, so I would call in to order ahead of time.
It was indeed the best fried chicken that I tried in GTA. Crispy outside, moist and juicy inside. Even the honey-garlic fried chicken is awesome.
Used to sell half half chicken for the price of whole chicken, but without informing this, they charged price of each half chicken. Be aware of this. Don t place an order of half chicken and if then, it is gonna be very pricy. Many places selling Korean fried chicken are available in Richmond hill
Ordered secret sauced wings from here and absolutely loved the taste! The quantity was good for a single starving person (7 pieces). The packaging was decent. If you love the idea of a lip smacking sweet, sour, spicy fried chicken ,this is the one for you! Cant wait to try other varieties theyve got, totally worth the money!
I would NOT go to this place if you have a peanut allergy like I do. When I tried to order and asked about allergy accommodation, they straight up told me I couldnt eat anything from there. Its a shame because I love Korean fried chicken and wanted to try this franchise for a while... Oh well :( TT
I ordered it three times, but the seasoned chicken I ordered today had a really fishy smell...
Like few reviews here, they must label peanut allergy warning on the package. This is Canada! A lot of people have nut allergies. My first experience was from m2m location, maybe it was my fault not to ask and I assumed plain fried one would be ok cuz normally spicy one has nuts. And we always pick up from mom chicken which is nut free so I forgot to ask and there was no warning label on package either. My son had a bite of plain one(we got one of each) and starting to have a reaction. So I called the store and asked if plain fried one has peanut and the staff was not even sure and had to yell to the owner asking the question which I could hear from background. How can staff not know about what they re serving? I ended up giving my son epipen and took him to hospital to check. He was ok after all but from that one experience he would never touch any kinda fried chicken in his life. Bbq should really make new package boxes if you wanna stay in business for a long time. I am sure one day there s gonna be someone calling Health Canada.
Korean chicken. The price is a bit high
Meat is jucier n tender than Galleria Supermarkets Moms Chicken!
ALWAYS excellent. Everyone is extremely nice and Ive never had anything but perfection in terms of taste and service.
Chees balls are recommended if you like donuts filled with cheese. The chicken is always good quality and tasty. We also like the hot fries.
Honestly the best Korean fried chicken in Canada. Almost comparative to the one in Korea. Generously portioned and lightly seasoned. Soy garlic, original, and honey garlic definitely my go to.
One of my favourite places for fried chicken. Love the Gang Jeong & honey garlic. Red chak chak is my favourite, but they havent had that in weeks. Theyve messed up my order twice in the last month, but fixed it in the end.
The chicken went really bad on the Christmas Day. I think they made in advance too early that the chicken tasted like detergent... so disappointed. I ended up throwing all of them out.
The best. Get golden fried with extra radish on the side and some secret sauce. The. Best.
Delicious, original Korean fried chicken. The best fried chicken restaurant in the neighborhood
Great quantity and quality considering the price. Although, I wouldn t recommend if you re in a rush.
I ve always been a fan of BBQ Chicken since I was in Korea. Although a bit pricey, they make good tasting chicken and gave lots of it. However, the service was so bad today because the amount of chicken was halved when compared to all of my previous orders. On top of this, there were so many fried skin pieces rather than actual meat itself. Very disappointed.
Taste real bad, not sure if it s just one time thing. Taste like someone spray fragrance into the chicken, chemical spice. Also chicken is dry.
Really enjoyed their chicken... chicken was crispy... the sauce was amazingly hot... I ordered mala hot. Overall it was great value and it wont disappoint!
its bad experience. thats only 1 pm they already sold out cup size thats means only can buy whole size. i dont like white meats . i just wanna know what can they sale for rest of day. and its real long time for wait cashier has bad attitude.
A fried chicken, that have to wait for 1 hour!!!!. Never go there again!! Cashier attitude so rude
*UPDATE* I dont recommend this place anymore because they are very unfriendly and they will make you wait for 10mins before finally accepting order. They wont even tell you that they are busy or are about to close. They had plenty of time for my order but they made me wait 10mins this time (last time was 5min) and they started cleaning. One of the young male worker seems like he doesnt care even if customer is standing around and has the dead fish eyes. Maybe he shouldnt be working here if he doesnt want to work. This is very disgusting business practice. They could have simply told me that they wont take anymore orders but they decided to waste my time. Very disappointed. I would never visit again. I hope they smarten up soon. I am a foodie. I would travel an hour or wait an hour for a good food. I also had various fried chicken places in korea and in Canada. In canada, the closest korean chicken place was either mymy chicken in toronto or chimac in victoria. However, starting today this is my favourite chicken place. The chicken wasnt very well trimmed but the YangYum sauce was pretty much identical to korean fried chicken franchise in Korea. I think it is a chain from korea but I could be wrong. The chicken crust is really crispy even after getting soaked by sauce and left alone for 30mins. The chicken itself wasnt that great of a quality but its acceptable. I would higly recommend eatting it with pickles radish. Trust me the pickled radish here is really delicious. It makes a fantastic combination with fried chicken. I would visit again. I am worried about health now because I might end up visiting here frequently...
They forgot my order. I wasted my time. Terrible customer service!
About that 123 bob review, I saw him when I was waiting my order. The lady explained that they had no more cup size chickens because it was too busy on yesterday. Then 123 bob complained but he ordered anyways. Then he asked extra boxes because he wanted cup sizes. And other employer explained they coouldnt provide extra boxes because of contract. Then he didnt leave for like 10 min and all the lane get delayed because of him. Now I see he wrote bad review on here. Between he told them he will not come back.
Literallly one of the best ... love love loveddd it!!! If you cant handle ur heat, please dont try the spicy.. it lights you on fire, but you keep going back to it... its sooo addicting...
Located inside the foodcourt of HMART, pretty decent and crispy fried chicken. I had the bone-in half & half, with secret spicy and the original. Quite expensive, and the wait was almost 30-40 mins. Definitely worth a try !!
Omg I can t believe the actual chicken that you see in kdramas is actually in Toronto. The chicken is super crispy even after an hour biting it my niece bit into the chicken and you can hear how crispy the skin is. The cheese balls are a must order but it is quite pricey for 5 pieces. It s still something you try once cus the batter is deep fried mochi and it s soooo good especially when they just cookies it and you see the cheeese oozing out. If you are having kdrama feels like me then this will help you out a bit lol.
My dreams have come true without traveling to Korea! If you watch kdramas you probably recognize this Korean Fried Chicken place that was featured in them. Its located inside the food court area of the HMart. The honey garlic chicken wings were perfectly juicy and crispy, with a sweet honey taste but also slightly spicy! However, the pieces were a bit small, but still super tasty.
Chicken was crisp, rich and delicious. I have to say however that my favourite was their cheese fries. A definite recommendation if you are a fan of Korean chicken!
We loved it. Really crunchy and flavorful. We got the secret spicy one. We didn t like that they are not very flexible if you want to try two flavors in the bigger size of the order and that we couldn t have half size of the boneless.
NO GOOD!
Best korean fried chicken in Toronto.
co-worker bought a box to work, they taste amazing. never had such good chicken before. so I went the next day to get one. errrrr.....sighs I got the bone in with secret spice. all I got is 2 good pieces, the rest basically are chicken bone drenched in sauce. the chicken is not deep fried like popeyes, so none of the bones you can eat. however, the pieces I ate from my friend had almost zero bones, yet she ordered bone-in as well. so maybe the girl at the counter doesnt like me I guess. I will give a try for their boneless and see if its better.
You wouldnt know it even existed if it wasnt for some research. Tucked away in the H Mart. Chicken quality is very fair, flavor is on par with other Korean chicken places. Price is reasonable for what you get. Will be back for more items on the menu. Gets my recommendation.
The best fried chicken in town. Better than the P and K major brands. Chickens are much more juicy and they give you white meat as well!
I ordered chiseling. I seem to eat it once every 3-4 weeks, and the regular fried food was about 3.5 times, but it still had a BBQ feel, but today it was a completely old-fashioned whole chicken. The chicken is not salted at all, so it tastes like the chicken sold at Jinji Market, where you have to dip it in salt. In particular, the fried food has no unique taste and feels like a moms touch. I dont know if its because it was on sale recently or something has changed, but it doesnt feel like a BBQ at all and the price is expensive. Or maybe the chiseling doesnt taste this good and the fries are like this too. Then, I dont know if theres a lot of cheese powder sprinkled on it... Anyway, I hope the boss will take a look and make some improvements.
Chicken and fries were great. I asked for cutlery in my order but they didnt give me any, which was unfortunate since I was eating this at work where were no longer allowed to have our cutlery. Whatever. I ate with my hands.
Super crispy. Not oily. Best fried chicken.
Authentic korean style chicken. Perfect
Nothing special.. The pickled sweet radish on the side was a nice touch.
Good quality chicken but very small
Had to wait ~50 minutes for my order. The chicken isnt anything special either.
Recommend sweet and spicy flavor
Excellent fried chicken. Had the Golden fried and Special spicy. Criminally underrated being located in an H-Mart. This has displaced Popeyes as my goto fast (not quite) food fried chicken.
