1 Spadina Rd #21-23, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3M2, Canada
Refined Chinese fare, including many seafood dishes, served in an elegant dining room.
This place is not it. The food is expensive, but the portions are small and did not taste very good either. Congee Wong next door is way better value and better tasting. The store itself is rather small, but well decorated.
Excellent Cantonese food with a twist in Richmond Hill. The dishes are found in other places but Ming has a twist to the flavour in each. Lunch specials are a great deal and even includes a bowl of double-boiled soup with deep flavour. Bonus that they accept credit and debit cards. Service is excellent, they even change your plate of which is not usually seen at lunch.
My friend recommended this Chinese restaurant, and I finally got the chance to try it. The food was delicious, especially the Peking duck! Normally, you need to reserve it in advance, but we were lucky enough to get a chance to try it without a prior reservation. The seating is a bit cramped, but the restaurant’s service made up for it. We booked two days in advance, and they even called on the day to let us know the previous reservation was running late, so we could adjust our arrival time. Overall, tasty food and very thoughtful service—I’d definitely come back!
Celebrated a birthday here. Wow perhaps best Chinese cuisine in the gta and better than the best Hong Kong places. You get what you pay for. :)
We made the reservation a few days ahead for a Sunday dinner. Reservation is highly recommended. We ordered a set dinner and a soup. The soup was made with a lot of ingredients. It was a lot better than the free soup you get in other Chinese restaurants. It was my first time trying the Taiwanese appetizers. They were pretty good. The Peaking duck met my expectations. The lobster was pretty big but slightly overcooked. The wasabi shredded chicken was interesting. The pork ribs were yummy but the meat was a bit tough. The garlic veggies were cooked well. The minced duck was a bit salty. The fried rice was excellent. The dessert was very good. The dining room was well decorated with blue and white porcelain. However, the tables were set very closely to each other. Overall, it was a solid 4 star restaurant.
Went here for my bro's bday dinner. I live within a 10 min drive of this place but ever since inception I haven't visited because it always had a reputation for being expensive. Jumping straight to the food. Winter melon soup: Very good! The server told us they didn't add any additional water to it and all the soup came solely from the juice of the melon. Sweet n' sour pork: Good but doesn't crack top 5. No pineapples in this one. Pork was crispy. Could've been a bigger portion imo. Beef Tenderloin w/veggies: Beef was tender but does not trump the tenderloin at Starchiva (which is the king). Dish could've had more meat. They gave a lot of veggies in the plate. Salted egg yolk prawns: Good crunch, good flavour. I think I still the prawns peeled before being cooked in the salted egg yolk but that's just a personal preference I guess. Crispy chicken: Imo, the best dish of the night. Instead of worcestershire and salt, they served it with a side of lemon juice which I honestly worked better than the former. The breast was dripping moisture too. Really well-cooked chicken. A *must-order* item imo. Deep fried oysters in honey-based sauce: 2nd best dish. Perfect crispy, sauce was sooo balanced. Stir fried scallops with mushrooms and chinese broccoli: Rounding out the top 3 dishes, was this one. I'm not the biggest fan of gai lan because of it's bitter nature. For this particular dish the resto used baby gai lan which didn't have any bitter aftertaste to the stems at all. The scallops were also perfectly cooked. Steamed black bean eel: My grandma wolfed down most of this as it's one of her fave foods. I thought it was on the same level as eel that my mom could've made at home tbh. Would be down to come back in the future but most likely for special occasions because they're priced higher than Starchiva but serve similar fare (I would argue Starchiva is still the king in Richmond Hill at the moment). Oh yea, the owner struck up a convo with our family since we were one of the last ones to leave around closing time. A genuinely nice guy and one of his daughters was also helping out in the restaurant!
We came here twice recently The dishes they offered are reasonable in terms of deliciousness and price We tried chickens in different ways of making and for me the first time (without sauces) tasted better The steamed minced pork is fine Sweet and sour pork - flour more than pork meat and the taste is okay Whatever yam 🍠 with meat and tofu pot is very good
A busy Cantonese restaurant serving dim sum, lunch menu and dinner seafood. We came in at 4pm, and it’s half full already. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Inside seatings were very crowded though. We order 3 dishes, all excellent quality with big portions, will come back for more seafoods
I came home with takeout and had a stomachache after eating...
Every dish is carefully prepared. I dare say it is the same dish as other restaurants, but you will definitely taste different surprises at Qinghua Mansion. Highly recommend the Qing Kui shredded chicken, crispy glutinous rice chicken (reservation required), and their Jinsha series. Everything is delicious and affordable.
sesame sweet soup so good
Best food and atmosphere I have seen so far
Food was okay, but our was half the portion of the table next to us. They also got each person and we only got 1 after we asked for it. (We have 5 people). Not sure what the standard is here. Guess we do not speak cantonese.
My friends are generous and often treat guests here. The price/performance ratio is good!
Great taste! I feel it s pretty authentic Cantonese food! Keep coming back with different groups of friends, we all love it
The male waiter was very attentive. We were waiting for our daughter to come over for lunch from her company and ordered Hainanese chicken rice for her. However, before the food was served, the male waiter covered the food with a plate and said that if the soup If its cold, it can warm us up for a while. . . . People who are dedicated and happy are the people I respect the most, no matter what industry they are in
Very delicious food and excellent service, but the space is very limited.
The restaurant is busy. Reservation is recommended. Food can be better but the time to wait for the food is a bit longer than expected.
Dim sum was very blah. Dough on ha gow & fun gor was super thick, congee {dont bother} & cheung fun the same as latter. No flavor. Dont come here. Many other better places.
The food was exceptional! Authentic dishes, fresh seafood, and really delicious flavours. I would definitely come back here if I want a fancier Chinese dinner. Only caveat, price is high considering other restaurants in the area but it s justified. If you go on a weekend, make a reservation!
The various combo sets that come with specialty soup are your best bet. Hoi Nam chicken rice and XO sauce rice noodles were both great choices. We went for regular dim sum lunch and were surprised by the quality of food.
This is a rare Hong Kong specialty restaurant in Toronto. Although the place is not decorated, the dishes are delicious. The must-try dishes are their crispy glutinous rice chicken, golden sand pork fillet, vermicelli lobster, shredded chicken and lobster. Steam rice. The boss is also very funny and friendly
Meet the expectations but nothing fancy except the lightning food serving speed.
Excellent overall!! Highly recommended.
We usually came here for dinner. It is our 1st time coming for lunch. Always have good food. Food
Food is tasty and authentic. Good services as well.
Quite crowded and crammed, food was a bit salty
Lovely
flavorful Chinese dishes
This is definitely one of the the best Chinese restaurants I love, all the dishes are delicious
I ordered shredded chicken, but it felt like there wasnt much chicken, it was all bones. I dont know why there was so much chicken skin.
Yummy dishes.
Shredded chicken and sweet & sour chicken taste very good
The shredded chicken at this restaurant is amazing, I come here often to eat it. I ate steamed green spot today and it was super delicious, delicious! The service is also great. I like this kind of small and popular restaurant!
Fine
High End Chinese food at night but also Good Value lunch Combo. $15.99 =1 main+1 Stewed Soup Also, Dim Sum available (Located in: Bayview Hill Centre)
Good food for a reasonable price
The food is good, the ingredients are sufficient, the desserts are good...but...its not comfortable to sit in. The backstage is facing my back. Its so intimate, and there is a big row to feel like. Again, it s better than Zhang Xitai, I m so embarrassed, I m so embarrassed, I m so embarrassed
The shredded chicken is top-notch, and the desserts are made by the boss himself
Awesome foods! No waiting after reservation
Reserved three tables one week ahead for somebodys birthday celebration. Each table preorders a set dinner which is over 1000.00 dollars on each table. They squeeze us at the entrance beside the bar without any birthday sign, so uncomfortable. The food quality is just so so. We all wont go back for sure.
Why is the quality control so bad? I called to order takeout at 9 oclock last night and said that all the chefs were off work. It was supposed to close at 10 oclock, but there were no chefs at 9 oclock. Today I went to buy the shredded chicken I had been longing for, but half the box was filled with chicken bones. Most importantly, the chicken skin was full of unplucked feathers. It tasted very salty and had no mustard flavor at all. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends before. This is also my favorite dish. This experience was so disappointing!
After ordering dim sum it took 80 minutes to come out.
food are authentic and yummy but small portion
foods and soup are really good, hopefully they could move to a bigger place, the food definitely deserves a luxury place. More server could be better when getting busy
This is a go to restaurant of my family but the service tonight was horrendous. They did not get the order correct (did not include two dishes) and wait staff was extremely rude tonight dropping dishes on the table with no regard for toddlers at the table. The manager asked if he could bring out dessert when my family was still eating and explained its a busy night and wanted to turn the table over... Very understandable if we were sitting there just chatting or loitering but we are just waiting for our food! This place is usually good, but just terrible experience tonight.
Not too much for dimsum but great place for dinner. Very reasonable price. Great separate section for party.
Though not a big restaurant like others serving Chinese restaurants they offer Chinese dishes with excellent food quality. Cozy atmosphere with friendly service. However booking must be made way ahead as it is always busy dinner time.
The place is not big, but the environment is warm and the service is very good
Met the owner of this establishment. He was super friendly and came to our table to talk about his trip to Australia. He also explained that dimsum is not their main feature or attraction. Its their dinner menu that brings the crowd. We came for the dimsum during lunch hours so well have to come back for dinner. As for the dimsum, all the dishes tasted like they were freshly made. They came out fresh and hot. And they were all good, I couldnt decide on a favourite. Ok, thats a lie, the black egg custard buns were my favourite. But being a dessert gives it an unfair advantage when it comes to someone like me, who loves dessert. Servers were friendly and really on top of things like clearing empty dishes and topping up tea as well as bringing our food in a timely manner. The restaurant may look crowded at first but once I was seated the crowd seemed as if they disappeared and were not a distraction in any way. Its like our table and guests were in a world of their own. Allowing us to have great food and good conversations. The reason I took so long to write a review was a selfish one. I thought about keeping this gem to ourselves. Hehe...so if you are reading this review consider yourself lucky and come experience this restaurant for yourself.
Ive always come here for dinner with is pretty good but DAMN, their dimsum is trash. First this place is hella small, the tables are not even fit for doing dimsum, only big tables mostly, so awkward. Why dont you just stick to lunch specials then? We ordered a shredded chicken dish (is it supposed to be THAT many bones and super oily albeit tasty like Hianese chinese +rice) I suggest you get the lunch special chicken bc it comes with rice and soup. DIMSUM: chicken in lotus leaf, the filling was soooo bad, it was like a paste that had no flavour or was weird flavour no egg yolk, the rice was like smush. Ham Siu Gok - too doughy again the filling was horrible, no flavour, no spring onion. Salty Egg Yolk Bao - bao flavour was weird and off, the ratio of bao to the egg yolk filling was not right, wayyy to much bao, the salted egg yolk had no flavour. Im so embarrassed for them - waitress kept asking me if I wanted to da bao take away the left over dimsum twice and Im like NO THANKS.
First try in this place. Very nice dishes, quite busy at dinner time, better to book table in advance.
food is good here with reasonable price. Normally no need for waiting.
For takeout, if one person goes to pick it up, he has to pay two people for tea! !How much does it cost to pay for tea if two or more people go to pick it up?
Value for money
Nice spot! Love the steamed lobster rice. Follow IG: hannahxoxo.foodie on Instagram for more
Hot chicken service
been there 3 times, all dishes are beyond my expectations, price is a bit high but worth it
Amazinggg!!!
Food was good but not exceptional Decor was nice for sure. The dining experience was soured when they forgot to make 5 dishes that were ordered above the set meals. Food : 4/5
Tried multiple times, never walked in successfully on weekdays or for dinner.
Excellent dim sum. Highly recommend the har gow.
Very good foods. We had sticky rice chicken, eel with honey sauce, spicy green bean noodle. Very delicious.
The food is great but a little bit pricy and service is just okay, sometimes when busy the server is emtional .
Great upscale Cantonese restaurant. The four dishes appetizer was an excellent dish to start with, tofu cubes were crispy on the outside and fun to eat. Salted egg shrimp and pumpkin had great salted egg flavour. I thought the eggplant dish was good but the cold dish chicken was a bit bland. We came for dinner at 5 and the restaurant atmosphere was fine, my one minor issue was that even though we sat away from the door every time the door opened a lot of cold air came in.
The environment is nice, the food is big, the price is ok, the golden sand sweet potato is the best, the shredded chicken is mixed with mustard, it tastes good
Not sure why this review was not published so will post it again. Unfortunately we had one of the WORST dining experiences here on Lunar New Years Eve with my entire family of 10 people. We showed up to our scheduled seating slot on time. The restaurants was completely packed with people looking to pick up takeout orders, which meant not a single staff was there to check us in and bring us to our table. We ended up waiting for 15 mins before someone even came by to speak to us. But the time we eventually got our table (which was 30 mins later), we were told there was another seating after us so we had to be finished our 10-course dinner in the next 1hr or so. Granted the food came very quickly, but we felt extremely rushed and did not get to enjoy the meal at all. When the time came, they rushed us with the bill (without us asking for it) and was told we needed to leave as there are people waiting for the next seating. It was quite possible the rudest and most unenjoyable dining experience I have ever had. The restaurant was severely understaffed for service, and it was painfully cleared that the table assignments/arrangements were fumbled which led to multiple table shuffling for guests. At one point while we were waiting for our table, we debated on leaving to go to another restaurant. However, with 10 people and on Lunar New Years Eve, it would have been difficult to find an alternative on such short notice. So we had no choice but the stay with this restaurant. The quality of food was actually decent but the overall negative experience did not allow us to enjoy it.
We have seen Ming when we have been in that plaza but never been in. They offer Dim Sum until 4pm so that s why we went. All of the dishes we tried were incredible. Perfectly cooked, not greasy, perfectly seasoned we will definitely go back to try more of their dishes. If you like Dim Sum, theirs is a perfect choice! Pictures next time! We were busy eating!
I still remember the waitress that had the audacity to yell at us for eating the wrong dish when she brought it to our table. We ordered lobster and we got lobster, how could we know it s not our dish? You little doggy
The food here is just ok and not enough to cover the bad table management and the fact that the lack of serving staff is not helping either. We have reserved a table for 12pax at 7pm. All of us arrived on time and the staff let us wait outside for 30mins for a table we had booked.
I came to Toronto from Australia and wanted to try Canadian lobster, so my friend introduced me to this restaurant. The seafood is very fresh and tastes good. The steamed method is more delicious and authentic. Sticky Rice Chicken YYDS! Eat it while its hot and its so delicious that you cant stop eating it! It s really worth the trip! The kind that makes you want to eat a few more bites even when you are full. It s worth eating!
I loved the fried pumpkin here. Tasted soft and super delicious. Lobster was ok but a bit dry! Chicken was fresh but too much wasabi for me Family vibes! Definitely need to reserve a table, not recommend walk in. Price was a bit expensive. We paid $270 for 5lb lobster + fried vegetable + chicken + beef + pork and vegetable
Overall dishes were pretty good except for the eel. The shredded chicken has a unique Wasabi flavor. Enjoyed the eggplant dish as well.
We called earlier to reserve a table, ask them to give us a table inside because obviously no one wanna eat dinner in wind, well the servers are extremely rude and ignore our request. So we give up to eat dinner here, why spend our money with this kind of business
The soup is so delicious that you have to call to order it.
Pumpkin Sands Shrimp, the shrimp meat is delicious and fried very crispy! Slice-skin duck is delicious!
The last time I dined at the restaurant was 2020 January. And yesterday I returned for a dinner which I had been meaning to for quite some time. I really wanted to like the food that was served, but must admit the food was a disappointment. We order: - Eel ginger onion pot - Honey garlic deep fried oyster - Seafood fried glass noodles - veggie in egg yoke batter - 3lb lobster in salted egg yoke batter (this was added on later before food arrived) The eel was lacking in portion, there was 4 of us, and each of us get to have two pieces (or less). So it was very tiny in portion costing $35. The honey garlic deep fried oyster was just soaked in sauce. The oyster wasnt crispy enough. The sauce was lacking garlic taste. $35 Seafood glass noodles was lacking flavour in general, like... salt included. $18 Veggie in salted egg yoke batter was quite disappointing. Im suspecting the oil just wasnt hot enough because the batter soaked up a lot of oil and it was not crispy at all. Same issue as the oyster. As well, there isnt a lot of flavour in the egg yoke batter, it didnt even taste like salted egg yoke. 3lb lobster presents the same issue, but lobster itself was okay. $150 All in in.... I wont be going back again.
This is probably the best Chinese restaurant I had in Canada. I have came back so many times for the soup and shredded chicken. Very authentic. I would recommend the new comers from HK to come to this cozy place. Nice service and friendly people around.
Ming bing bong!!!
I really enjoy eating at this restaurant! Service is friendly, the dishes are really fresh and tasty. Would give it 5 stars, but given the price was a little high for the eel dish and it wasn t a lot. Also I love their soups but theres only the two of us so ordering a whole bowl (for 4-6 ppl) would be too much. Otherwise, this place is great for dinner or lunch and u won t be disappointed.
I ve been here four times, their food, service and price are consistent. I will be back for sure.
Food was decent, service was waaaayyy below average, server was rude and unprofessional, she was literally telling us to leave before our dinning time limit comes up I m still trying to finish my dessert. First time here, but will never return.
The dim sum is steamed immediately upon ordering, the fried food is crispy and hot, and the cold melon and fried rice noodles are topped with melon and melon.
The last time I visited this restaurant was in September 2021. The restaurant decor remains unchanged and surprisingly in good condition. Food is one of the better quality in Richmond Hill. I have reservation about the service. It all depends who is serving you. I got a rude one but was later served by one with better manner. Oh well.
After hearing the recommendation from a friend, I wanted to try it and ordered take out shredded chicken and eggplant stew. Very disappointed, the shredded chicken was all chicken skin and bones, the eggplant was half cooked, definitely not recommended. do not order take out from this place, very disappointed.
Terrible service from booking to dining. No one cares if you need a refill for tea even if you have asked for couple of time. The most disgusting part was a guy put up other dishes left with chewed lobster shell to our table to top on our plates to take away the dishes on our table. Portions are small. Not worth the price averaging $36-39 ish a dish. Will never come back.
On frequent visits, the main meal is delicious , and the dessert is special . Its just that the service still has room for improvement .
Lovely Chinese restaurant with lots of fresh dishes and options. Small seating area, lots of parking.
The food is authentic Cantonese food. Staff are professional and able to answer your questions in a few languages.
Bad attitude and bad service. Never again
We were looking forward to trying their Hainan chicken - went on a Sunday at 2:30pm, it was not busy at all but no one was there to greet us, not only that, we got dissed by the staff (they said they were not serving us because they had to prepare for dinner ). So we didn t even get to sit down to eat I will never go there because of the poor attitude. What a shame.
Food is good. Service is fine. Reservation is required for dinner.
Came for dinner. Good quality Cantonese style dishes with some creativity. Good portions. Sweet and sour pork was unique with sliced pear fruit and sweet ginger slices. Really liked the garoupa pinenut fish, good chunks of fillet. Fried Egg yolk shrimp and pumpkin was piping hot. Would come again.
Great food and good service!
Excellent service and food. Friend kinda knows the owner so we got abit better service than usual.. but i would say this is a high end small chinese diner. Expect 100+ per person. Food : 5/5
Foods are very good as well as the service.
I really enjoyed the food here, especially the soup. Must reserve a table before you go, and order the soup one day before your reservation. I should say the food deserves 5 stars. But for this price, you must have higher expectations. All the dishes are very delicious. I will definitely come back. Parking: The restaurant is in a plaza, so there are lots of free parking spaces
Great food and service. Finally a place I could enjoy food without the noise.

Amazing Cantonese Cuisines. Well, I need to say it should be one of the top Cantonese Restaurants in GTA. It combines traditional and creative flavor, which made me impressive. Highly recommend the deep fried Spare Pork Ribs with Olives and Duck and Taro with plum sauce (need to reserve in advance).
Very poor service.
First of all, haven t tasted their food but did have tasted the attitude. Been there and wanted to order take out at 2:40pm and Not busy at all! The waitresses chatting with old customer. We have been standing there like transparent for a while. (It was awarded that customer waiting and the waitress not even seeing you).We understood that you have other things to take care but not even say hello and will help you soon. Till we had enough and decided to left. Finally, the waitress said what do you want. Sorry, I have tasted and not felt like customers are welcomed.
Tableware are dirty , no service , even want to refill water.
Wanted to order takeout, the staff ignored us, they d rather chatting with their regular than taking our order. Terrible service and bad attitude.
Great Cantonese cuisine. One of the best in Toronto. Place is not as big as we see from outside.
The worst ever never!! ! Donate your money to sick kids!
Probably wouldnt come back. The portions are small, the food is mediocre and the service was horrible. While she was taking our order she left before we even finished telling her our order. We had to call her back to even complete ordering. When our food arrived, she placed the food in the far corner if our table, and we didnt even know that half of them came. We found the sauce after we finished eating. The waitress was rude, she didnt say a single word to us the entire time. We replied politely with please and thank you, and she walked away. The final straw was the bill. We havent even finished eating yet, and she brought our bill without us asking for it. She placed it at the opposite corner of where we were sitting, and left the bill facing up with the folder open. It felt like she was forcing us to leave and being deliberately rude. Bad service, mediocre overpriced food, small portions. Probably wouldnt come back
The food is pretty good. Nice staff, service is really fast
Food is amazing, the place is a bit squishy but service is good compare to other Chinese restaurants. Their seafood and chicken dishes are quite famous in the neighbourhood. Lunch time hainan chicken rice is very delicious too!!
Portion is big. Average taste.
I was there this afternoon for lunch. I ordered from their lunch menu. The food was terrible, so did the service. We sat at the first table next to entrance. Every time when one opened the door, the uncomfortable cold drift of wind made us feel chill. I will not go again definitely!
5 stars are not enough to give to this small restaurant. The stuff gluten rice inside the chicken is so delicious. Fried tofu, herbal soup, and services are all amazing to us. Would love to come back with my parents and sisters next time to try the rest of their menu Thank you for taking care of us
They posted mothers day combos but when we came on mothers day they were not selling the combos, that doesnt even make sense
Used to go there quite often, enjoyed can no longer be used to describe the food experience there . the recent two visits were so disappointing and food quality was deteriorating bye
Very average, expensive, and the food is not delicious, especially the salted fish, chicken and tofu pot, and the fried rice is also not delicious. very common!
Taste good
They just decide to not take takeout orders and leave you without food.
Great taste
I ordered the stuffed chicken, the skin is not crispy anymore,it s acceptable as it was takeout, but the chicken was dry and salty . I would not order this again. Portion of other seafood dishes were small but fresh and tasty.
Food was oily and bland. The tables and seats were insanely tight. The servers were overwhelmed. I would say the entire experience felt more like paying for overpriced subpar quality food in a poor ventilated self-service foodcourt. We had mushy noodles, the fried chicken sticky rice wasn t fresh and tasted a bit fishy, the sweet & sour pork tasted like McNuggets because likely the oil wasn t fresh. Multiple guests at the table confirmed the same issues so it s not just me. There are better options around the area. AVOID
Tasty food, ordered Hainan chicken and stir fried vermicelli. Lunch special came with soup which tasted like home made soup, way much better than other restaurants.
Not cheap but worth the money
What a wonderful speakeasy restaurant that serves some of the most interesting and culinarily delightful dishes....WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK
Good chinese food.
Not too crowded during covid 19. Practice social distancing, good price, friendly service, food taste OK, but no surprise.
This Shrimp Scallops in Xo sauce cost $36.80. Waitress attitude don t deserve any tips. Never again thanks.
Place has changed drastically over the years. Im a frequent visitor before, during covid for take outs. It used to be amazing and staff worked with you like families. Now its extremely overpriced, portion is so small that isnt enough to fill my kids. Staff probably know its coming to the end so has no courage to greet or serve. What a sad change.
This place was good as I remembered a few years ago but recently visited for lunch and it has gone downhill a lot which is a shame, I understand the price has gone up but the quality and portions have dropped not to mention the mundane service cant say I will be back anytime soon.
Dinner was delicious. We got a set menu plus half a wasabi chicken, and a salty egg shrimp and pumpkin. Very nice dinner
My first visit to Ming Cuisine this afternoon was a terrific experience. Located in the Bayview Hill Center at Spadina Rd & 16th, this little gem featured good decor, amazing service and delicious cuisine at very reasonable prices. The menu offered a very delectable selection and I was assisted by my host, Jackie, who suggested I try beef with biier melon in black bean sauce with pan fried vermicelli. It was plentiful and tasty! This place is a must try. I also met David, who was a gracious host and answered questions on the dish. I will visit again! Keep up the great work, David!
Today at Blue Flower Mansion, the dishes are quite cost-effective. The Regal Villa area has been standing for many years. Even on Thursday night, the seats are still packed. Yes, it is worth a visit... I especially like the fried tofu in the appetizer Xiao Si Xili. The noodles are crispy and soft inside, and the taste of Huai salt and pepper is great. Just right; shredded chicken with sea anemone and mustard, the chicken skin is crispy and the meat is clear, it is worthy of being an internet celebrity; the sweet and sour pork is crispy on the outside and crispy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweet and sour; stir-fried kale with preserved meat, steamed green spots, etc., the dishes are all of a high standard , can come again...
rude service
Still the only place where we get dinner regularly for Cantonese cuisine, and we have been coming here for years even before the pandemic. Since the pandemic, weve only done take out here though. The comments that portions have decreased and prices raised are true but you cant fault them for this given the current economy.
not bad but i think the taste of the food tends to be on the more salty side....which I drink a lot of water afterward. The soup and the shredded chicken are great.
Was told during my phone order that our take out order for lunch would be 10% off with cash. When I got there to pick up, the guy told me the discount is only for dinner time. Staff seem really disorganised. Came to pick up the order and the order was missing a third of the items we ordered. Sooo make sure you check your total order. BBQ pork bun was super doughy. Beef ball texture is similar to those frozen hot pot beef ball texture. Suspecting that some of the dim sum items are just frozen dim sum that have been in the freezer for months.
Today I ordered the lunch set - curry chicken and the steamed pork with rice. The quality are poor. It was not the same quality as before especially the curry chicken with rice. It was salty with very little curry taste, the rice was not fresh - overnight quality. Soup was not slow boiled soup. I guessed that the chef is not same as before. I have been their customer since they opened. But felt very disappointed with their quality this time. I will not consider to dine in or order take out food from this restaurant again! They should check the quality again.
The crab is not fresh and smelly wont come back
I came all the way here from Waterloo and it didnt let me down. Really awesome service! Enjoy the vibe in this restaurant. The owners very nice and friendly! Thumbs up!
High quality Chinese food at premium prices
This high-end Chinese restaurant hidden in the affluent area of Bayview is a selling point that combines new-style Chinese food with traditional Hong Kong-style Chinese food. The main items, both chicken and seafood, are excellent. Unfortunately, the portion and price of the steamed eel I ordered were not worth it. Maybe I saw that the customer was a young man, so I was given an eel that was not of good quality, although the taste was good. Its authentic but cant hide the smell of fish...and the eel is a bit mini...other than that, its definitely a Tang restaurant with clear positioning and high-quality products.
We placed a large order with Ming and were really happy with the food and customer service. The food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Aside from the tasty food, the staff at Ming also ensured that our order was delivered on time. I believe the owner personally delivered the order himself. They even added extra complimentary deserts! Thank you to the whole team at Ming for making our day that much better.
I have been helping you since the opening of the business till now.
It was not bad, but for this pricing level, I have tried something better
Food is good
Excellent food and good service.
Great food. Services not so good
Good food good service
The food is excellent
Food is good, need to do better with the rice and the gai lan needs more wok hei.
Excellent food
Menu prices changes often. Quality of food is above average.
One of the few restaurant serving authentic taste of Chinese dishes Markham. Dinning room decor is nice and clean
One of the local Chinese staples. Great quality food - never disappoints.

Ming Cuisine has been in Richmond Hill for a period of time, but this is my first time trying this cuisine. This is a small Chinese restaurant, so recommend make reservation. We ordered shred chicken with sea cucumber, pan fry tiger shrimp, pan fry oyster with honey, dice tenderloin, vegetables, steam pork with dry squid, salt and pepper eel and fish maw soup. All the entree portion are huge, but they taste great. One of the best Chinese restaurant in town!
This place is amazing! The quality is very high, the food is fresh, the dishes are eclectic, and the owners take great pride in making sure you have a great experience. This is a lovely family owned restaurant that offers very high quality Chinese food and great portions for the price.
The lunch special is $14.99 which comes with a delicious soup.
