Haida Sandwich in Richmond Hill

Today I went to this Heida with my small puppy which was in my arms, just to order something for take out and the second that I entered there the cashier was so rude to me that I needed to leave the place. As an old customer, I will never go to this place anymore because of the disrespect that happened to me and my dog.

I like the pizza & french fries but the other thing I didnt like was the burger

Most over priced sandwich in all of Toronto, buy the ingredients from an Iranian grocery store and itll taste better cost less. Anyone notice all the positive five star comments in perfect formal English all posted on the same day 1 week apart? So sad that you guys are activitly posting fake reviews to drown out all the real customers with negative feedback. Truely pathetic.

A few minutes ago, we had two sandwiches at this fast-food restaurant. After receiving his sandwich, my son asked for some water, and a young gentleman working there (he was very polite and well-mannered) brought us a bottle of water. As we were leaving, I went to the counter to pay for the water. A lady, who I m not sure if she s the owner or an employee, charged us $3.38 + HST (around $4) for a small bottle of water the exact same kind of water that costs $3.50 for a pack of 48 at Costco. For a moment, hearing this price, I involuntarily asked, How much? The lady responded, If you go to other restaurants, the price is the same! I felt bad because I felt my intelligence was being insulted. I ve been living in this city for about seven years, and due to my and my wife s work situations, we often go to restaurants. I know that a bottle of water in most restaurants costs about $1.50. She then said, If you go to Shamshiri or Chef Reza restaurants, the price is the same! First of all, dear lady, you can not compare your fast-food restaurant to Chef Reza, which offers live music, dance performances, musicians, and singers. Secondly, no restaurant not even those at the top of the CN Tower charges more for water than your fast-food place. I want to do a one-star review, but I am doing a 2-star review just for a young gentleman there.

I was so hungry, craving for sandwiches, I just reared a chicken sandwich, once I opened the wrap, I saw a big thick hair in the food. Literally wanted to vomit. I wouldn t trust their hygiene at all.

The food was great. The cashier was so nice and people friendly. The chef was Reza and if you wanna taste the amazing Persian Empire pizza, come here on weekends and Reza make that for you.

Good persian Sandwiches

Good food but definitely overpriced for what you get. I dont mind getting their sandwiches once and awhile, but for the price, its something that I dont particularly look forward to getting often. Service was a bit slow for sandwiches.

I had a very bad experience with this place especially the customer service. The order that we placed over phone was not the order we ended up picking up. When I told the cashier (Roya) she refused to correct my order and I ended up paying for an order I didn t place. Later on we asked for the manager and she (Roya) said she was the manager but at the end of the conversation she said she will have the manager to call us. I m still waiting for the manager to call me back.

I have been a long-time customer of Haida, and Roya is incredibly friendly and dedicated to customer service.

They arent same as Iran Haida sandwiches but not bad in Toronto.

I heard great things about this place so I decided to try it out. Me and a friend were splitting one of their sandwiches. I asked the guy to make the sandwich the same except don t put tomato or mushroom on one half. Apparently that was too complicated for the guy to understand and his solution was that we needed to pay for two sandwiches if we wanted him to make it that way, which makes no sense because it s only 2 out of many toppings. I m not sure if it was genuinely too complicated for him to do that or if he was just trying to make a quick extra buck. I ended up getting the sandwich and just picking off the items myself because I was hungry and it wasn t anything special. Very overpriced in my opinion.

I only love this branch of Haida Sandwich! Unlike north york branch here, they make original recipes!

Love going here! My family and I had burgers here. The burgers were just top-notch! And the staff as always were professional, friendly and simply amazing. Sepideh jun and Hanieh jun were great to us. They helped us with the menus and provided a great service; and this great service and food had been consistent over the 10 years I ve bought food from any branch of Haida. Will go back there again!

We went to that restaurant and they gave us some bad respond, and I have a complaint about that restaurant. It s really bad service for customers and whoever wants to get their food. There was not enough service and loyalty.

I didnt have a good experience with the staff. When the restaurants closing time is mentioned as 12 AM, its expected that services will be provided until the last minute. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing, but even though there was still time, the staff refused to serve us. If it s not possible to offer service until the last minute, I suggest updating the closing time to be more accurate so that customers aren t confused.

Used to be good. But recently prices have gone astronomically high and quality and portion has gone down. Lost me as a customer. ---Response to comment--- Not same portion of good ingredients like meat, but making it bigger by stuffing with breaded sticks (when before used to be a very small amount) to make the sandwich bigger. And the prices is easy to check Google images taken just 2 years ago to see the crazy increase in price to todays menu.

Delicious sandwitches specially their famous Hiada Special that they are known for. I tried their pizza too and it was really good, the crust is different and its made from bread but that was a delightful experience as well. All in all, very good food and kind staff. Highly recommend.

If you want REAL persian pizza go here. The pizza here is more persian than the pizza back in iran. They got plenty of other crazy delicious options as well. Quality is amazing, employees are nice (shout out to sepide for her kindness always). I go here at least once a week!

Used to be a fan of their sandwiches and frequent customer of their North York location. Stopped buying from them since finding a fingernail in one of their sandwiches. Not only we did not get any form of apology when we immediately went back to the store to report - but also were questioned and told this is impossible!! Not going back ever as I would not trust their food safety standards and more importantly I wouldn t want to deal with their poor customer service and ignorance towards their customers

My recent visit to Haida was outstanding! Everything was at it s best, Staff were super friendly and helpful, it took only a few minutes and our order was ready, super fresh and delicious, I just loved everything about this place thanks to Roya and Sepideh, definitely recommend it!

Unfortunately, my recent experience at Haida Fast Food was disappointing. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger, but it tasted like it had been reheated multiple times, lacking the freshness youd expect from a quality burger. It also resembled the pre-packaged burgers you find at Costco, which was a letdown. The size of the sandwich was overwhelmingly large, making it difficult to eat comfortably. After a few bites, I couldnt continue as I felt nauseous, and the discomfort lasted for quite some time. This was far from what I expected.

These are the quality of ingredients you provide to your customers after a $50 bill for a sandwich, a drink ($5 for a drink should be a crime), and a cup of corn ($10 for a cup of corn with some sauce that costs 23 cents must be a felony). This is unacceptable. You crave Persian food, and our fellow people serve you at a level that you will regret for the next three months. Parking: A bit limited but not the hardest to find

I came twice during my stay in Richmond Hill. Whether morning or night the service was phenomenal and the food was great! I recommend the Haida special. Just note that the wait is close to 30 minutes, but other than that everything was perfect!

$20 for 2 slices of cheap deli meat. I Ive ordered here before and know what to expect in regards to portions for the Haida royal sandwich. There was literally two slices of beef and chicken deli meat even though its supposed to be at least 3 of each.Never coming back its a rip off. Youre better off buying the ingredients and making it at home, itll be more consistent a fraction of the price.

Pleasant experience with Sadaf at haida restaurant

Try the hot Haida sandwich. It s a foot long mix of turkey and other meats with pickles and tomatoes topped with potato sticks in a garlic/mayo Haida sauce. Ask for hot sauce if you want spicy. The restaurant is clean, the ambience is good, location is great, service is okay, and parking is available.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! When I tried to order over the phone, the lady rushed me and wouldn t let me continue ordering. She said I had to order online but they didn t have all the options I wanted so I just went in store. The woman, ONCE AGAIN, rushed me and told me they were super busy and I had to order quickly. Am I not a valid customer? It s a Saturday morning. When I went inside it was barely noon. How can someone speak to me this way? The food is amazing but there s no reason to be difficult to a customer who is bringing their money into your business. EDIT: I am updating this part of my review after viewing the response from the store. I would like to clarify: 1. I was told to place my order online through door dash but the special instructions section is closed off so I cannot specify anything 2. The manager was offended I left a bad review so she called me and spent 10 minutes ranting to me over the phone not allowing me to voice my opinion This action felt very confrontational, a manager should know better than to attack a customer over the phone for leaving a bad review due to a lack of customer service on their end 3. I was told if I was to ever enter the store again, I would not be welcomed or at least not greeted with respect all because I voiced my concerns The manager also mentioned that the call was being recorded and would be taken up with the owner later, but all the owner would hear is the manager vigorously ranting. Once again, I am one customer with one bad experience. I am not upset with the food or the kitchen, I am very satisfied with the meals. However, I am deeply disappointed in the customer service and that is my opinion which I am entitled to. I can understand where maybe there may have been a misunderstanding so I appreciate the store apologizing. But I will never understand why the store manager had to call me to explain she was unhappy with my review meanwhile she provided bad customer service.

When made artistically and with love, it can be a powerful thing that brightens your mood on a bad day. That was definitely my experience today at Haida. Reza artistically put together a perfect sandwich that included a great combination of vegetables, meat, and sauce in every bite. Roya lit up my whole mood with her amazing and outgoing personality. By the way, I totally forgot to mention that I got the cheese sausage. Highly recommend it if you are looking for authentic Persian fast food.

I was in downtown Toronto around midnight, and I called Haida Sandwich, Richmond Hill branch, and asked if they could prepare some sandwiches for me and my friends until we arrive there after around 45 minutes. The lady at the front desk mentioned they were about to close soon, but after I explained our situation and requested if they could wait until 00:45, she agreed despite the difficulty it posed for her and her colleagues. When we arrived, not only were our sandwiches ready, but her warm and accommodating attitude made the experience even better. Her commitment to customer service and responsibility is truly commendable. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and exactly what we needed. Thank you to the team at Haida Sandwich, Richmond Hill branch, for going above and beyond for us. We will definitely be returning and recommending you to everyone we know!

Extremely awful! Just don t even try it! The pizza crust and sandwich bread were stale. The pizza crust was not even chewable! Inside the pizza was not cooked. And about the price, very very very high and I don t know why!

I recently had disappointing experiences at Haida. Twice, I arrived at 11:30 PM, but despite their advertised closing time of 12 AM, they told me they were closed. When I pointed this out, the staff dismissively said, everywhere is like this, which isnt true. I wont be returning.

I ordered the persian empire pizza, simply one of the best persian pizza. The staff was very kind, although it took a long time to get ready but it was very good and tasty amazing. I would 100% as a persian recommend this pizza to everyone. 10/10 Parking: There is a parking lot next to the plaza right after the bibi cake store. there are plenty of parking spots available

I ordered the Pizza Sandwich, it was my first time trying it and I really liked the taste and the portion. Extremely bad quality, customer service and very expensive. I ve been in this place while ago and ordered some sandwiches plus half hotdog not loaded one just bun and hotdog for my kid. The lady in reception mentioned that they have special one for kids which identified wasn t true. After 45 minutes I was given half burnt hotdog for about $20 the same price as fully loaded one. I found out after checking out but the lady didn t do anything to satisfy their customer. Never go again and not recommend it to anyone
