I ordered tonight. It was not good at all. Calamari had no taste. I ordered a pizza. Not good. And I ordered a Caesar salad but it didn t come with Caesar dressing???? The worst pizza I have ever had. Garbage. Don t go here.

Went specifically for an Italian wood oven pizza. The pizzas are not wood oven. They advertising wood oven fare. This was not the case! We like to support local businesses but in this case I dont think we will be repeating.

The service was overall good and the atmosphere was nice and calm. The food however was not as good as expected. The bruschetta was good. The steak was tough, had fat, was under seasoned and watery. The carbonara was very bland and rubbery. The lasagna was decent, in my opinion under seasoned. The Margherita pizza was not a Margherita pizza, it had the consistency and taste of a frozen pizza. Overall too much for what you get.

Grilled calamari was delish. I like how they do it differently with blanched veggies and they leave the calamari whole so you can see what they look like and that it s real calamari. The New York steak was not a quality steak but the zucchini pizza was good. The crust is thin it would be nice to have the option for thick crust. Prices are best for Italian in R Hill. Premium espresso must heal cancer or come from the moon because it s $5 each.

Worst pizza I ve ever had! Simply disgusting. Don t be fooled by their fire oven pizza or their menu description. We wanted to try this local Italian restaurant rather than pizza pizza, big mistake. After entering this gloomy dungeon, we opted for take out and ordered a basic Margarita pizza. What we got was a flat tasteless pizza dough with a bit of cheese, raw garlic and disgusting chopped tomatoes. Tried one bite and got a stomach ache right away. Went straight to the garbage. Paid $20 for this!! Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else.

This staple in the community has visibly aged but still true to delivering and serving up very good food

Food wasnt bad , had the chicken Parm , taste was good , chicken was a bit over done. Pasta sauce dont think it was homemade, not sure . Calamari was tasty and fresh. The decor could use a bit of a refresher.

I took a friend there for lunch. This place had no customers so you would think we would get great service. Yeah right.we had to drop a fork just to get someone to come serve us. The food was cold. The pizza was decent. Pasta was dry and then half way through the pasta we find a HAIR!! We told the server and they didn t even care. No apology not even admitting it was a disappointment and we clearly couldn t even eat after that. Not even a dollar was taken off our bill. Will never return there.

We ordered cajun salmon and lemon chicken for delivery. Both dishes were so delicious! We eat out a lot and this is definitely one of the best. I am not sure why the reviews are mixed, but our delivered meals were amazing! Definitely going to order here on a regular basis! Please keep up the good work!

We ordered through Skip the dishes. The bruschetta as you can see no diced tomatoes on it. Poor taste on the rest of the food. I only have one word Avoid Food : 1/5

Me and my family always go here to eat pizza! It never lets us down so fresh and tasty. It is a wooden oven they cook it in so it s obviously top notch pizza. The pasta is also tasty and amazing! Must come and visit!!!!!!!

Went there last night for dinner. Ordered Mussels came back and said no.mussels. Veal Marsala. It was not veal real chewy told server he didnt care. Brought it home and tried to cook it the next day. It was beef and still tough and I did find hair in my pasta. Wont be back

This was my second time here, and I have to say, I think this time I got sick on the food. I ordered the veal scallopine which came with a cream sauce and mushrooms, but there was a lot of sauce and it was soupy. Also, the veal was cooked medium well done, but it was still pink. In any event, I will probably come back, but I will stick to pasta or rice.

We enjoy getting take out from Oreganos- there food is nicely prepared and great for our family. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Cacciatore, coconut shrimp, and pasta Bolognese for the kids. We love the food!

I recently went into the restaurant to pick up a large order and I ordered a few pizzas. When the bill came I saw that they itemized each pizza ingredient and the price per pizza ended up being significantly higher than what was advertised on their menu. When I asked about it they said that they were doing it that way on takeout orders. Only one pizza was a build-your-own pizza but the rest were specialized named pizzas listed on their menu. It was obvious that they were trying to make more money, but price gouging is not the way to do it (not to mention that it s false advertising). I used to be a regular customer and had recommended lots of people over the years but now won t be returning or recommending others. Their food is good but it s a shame they were not more transparent and honest when it comes to what they will charge when you show up to pick up your food. I didn t expect this type of behaviour from this type of restaurant.

If you need an affordable dine out with good food then this place is perfect. Their menu is also fantastic as they have many varieties. We ordered Calamari, Bruschetta, Cajun Chicken Pizza, Spaghetti Linguine, and Veal Tenderloin and everything tastes perfectly. The place is also good because it has parking spaces and close to a bus stop and yrt express bus stop. Its also good place to eat after or before a movie as it is just beside Imagine Cinemas. The server and food wait time is also good and place is very cozy and has very relaxing vibes. Rating this place 10/10.

Service very poor. We were only table and the waitress didnt ask even once how our food was. spent most of the time standing behind the counter scrolling through her phone. she brings us the baby spinach salad and then tells us they are out of salad dressing. we would have ordered something else if we had been told. when we asked for water we received lukewarm tap water. getting some ice for our water and the bread that is supposed to come with dinner entree orders was like pulling teeth. we enquired about dessert and was told they were delivered once a week and ran out days ago. We had been there several times in the past and enjoyed it but its really gone downhill. Staff dont seem to care

Thought id give this place a shot instead of ordering pizza from a chain...pizza is ok..but wayyy to expensive for what you get...their pizza is the equivalent size of 1 pizza slice from pizza pizza...wont be orderimg from here again.

Overall horrible

Used to come here a lot over the years, stopped in tonight. The service wasnt very good-the server definately wasn t very experienced or trained well, she was preoccupied with folding cutlery instead of greeting us or taking our orders, Enjoyed the appetizers, drinks were decent, we ordered a bunch of salads, the Caesar salad was very yummy and the bruschetta is good as usual, of course prices are high but that s everywhere. I ordered seafood linguini and the muscles were 100% rancid hope my stomach is good later, I dotn mind frozen muscles it s how it is in this area, the dish was advertised as having octopus and shrimps as well. What I received was frozen mixed seafood pack overcooked and rancid smelling falling apart muscles in a regular red sauce. Definately not homemade pasta which is fine, but I think they advertise it s fresh? Definately not. All in all, the place has great potential but is in dire need of renovation, menu simplification, better trained staff (which is everywhere now so I understand the staff shortage) and to rid itself of old not fresh food. I understand this spot was likely hurt but the covid years and is trying it s best to save money and save itself, but if they can find some funds to invest in revamping the place I m sure it has potential to be very profitable and high quality. It was good enough- but there s no excuse to be serving old expired seafood, pray for my stomach tonight .

Most authentic Italian on the hill. Worth every bit. You will not want to stop eating. Trust me.

One of the best pizza spots in the area. The lady at the front counter gave me a free drink because I to wait an additional 15 mins. Amazing service definitely would recommend.

Pizza at its best, this has to be one of my top 10 pizza places. This pizza maker deserves a high five. Fresh toppings and wood fire, just fantastic. We will be back again, thank you.

Ordered Uber Eats from this place, most of the food went to garbage right after opening, carbonara is dry and not tasty, mussels smell like sewage we didnt even touch them, highly not reccomended.

I never tried their pizzas, but love their pastas. Portions are huge and tasty. Favourite is the lasagna.

The home delivery food was a disappointment. Not the same as dining in. The steak ordered medium rare was well done, the shrimp that companied it was extremely over cooked which made them dry and rubbery. What was edible in the entire meal, the potatoes and grilled vegetables. Costly potato and vegetables. The bread that was given for the Bruschetta was to hard to eat, so we ate the diced tomatoes and spices with out bread(no cheese). Our patronage to Oregano RH will wait until dine in is available.

I figured instead of buying from a chain pizza restaurant I would support a local business, huge mistake. The pizza cost more than 20$ and when I got home I opened the box and it was just a huge, round, piece of disappointment. There were next to no toppings and there are just patches with no cheese on it. I called to ask what can be done to make it right and the girl who answers the phone said she doesnt know what to do about it, really? Thats the answer I get? My girlfriend then spoke to the store manager and he said that hes been doing this for 21 years and theres nothing wrong with the pizza. Thats just ignorant additude since if there was nothing wrong then I would be posting 5 stars, not 1. If you want to support local, thats great, go ahead, but do not support them here. I could have gotten better food and service from any pizza chain.

Dont even deserve the one star I have to give in order to leave a review. Ordered a pizza and a salad for $30 and I couldve gotten FAR better at Pizza Pizza. The pizza was entirely missing 3 toppings, the cheese didnt even cover the surface of the pizza and the one topping that actually was on it was very very sparse. When calling to ask what could be done, we were told they cant help us, and then hung up on. I then called again from another number and asked for the store manager, who was just as incompetent as the girl on the front desk. I was assured he knew what he was doing because he has been making pizzas for 21 years. My boyfriend and I wanted to support a small, local business but not again. Free Toppings has our business any day over this pathetic establishment. Pretty sure we saw cockroaches in the storefront too.

We were craving for Italian food and we ordered $90.00 worth of food. Different pastas, eggplant and calamari. All tast like a really bad chines food . Calamari was like a rubber. The sauce for calamari test like bad yogurt. All pastas taste like Chinese food. Ala vodka sauce test like a can of tomatoes with burned bacon. Ill give not even one star.

Ordered bruschetta and 2 types of pasta, bruschetta was ok at best and both pastas (2 different types) were super bland. After a bite or 2 we asked for some spices but even that could not help how bland the pasta was after which we told the server after which she went in and came out telling us nothing can be done and that there has never been any complaints in 20 years so theres nothing wrong with it. Server then proceeded to give us attitude and snickered when we just asked for the bill and left without touching anymore of the pasta. I dont really post reviews but the food was bland and the service was terrible, pizza pizza probably could have done better

Came here during lunch. Got the Oregano s mix pizza. The pizza was well made, and it only took 15 minutes!!! All the ingredients were good quality and the flavours mixed well. All the 1 star reviews complaining about how thin the pizza have clearly never gotten pizza from anywhere outside of American chains. Would recommend coming here for a nice small pizza.

Horrible from start to finish. Got charged for food that was returned. Absolutely no flavour, the calamari was off and made the both of us Ill and nothing was prepared the way the menu described. A complete disappointment.

We have attended this restaurant a number of times in the past, and its been a great experience. This New Years, my family and I again went to Oreganos for our family dinner. Our server was lovely, and we enjoyed her warm engagement. To our surprise, the food was really unsatisfactory. The pizza arrived undercooked and lacking in care as it has in previous orders. No really, it looked like a childrens Chucky Cheese pizza. I had the veal marsala and it was mainly oil versus sauce. The vegetables were incredibly overcooked. Anyway, as a courtesy we called the restaurant to advise of the lacklustre experience. We did this to offer the benefit of the doubt, and to encourage better quality. We like to see local spots get the disposable income of the neighbourhood crowd. I asked to speak to the owner, and was passed on to the head chef. I explained I was calling as a courtesy to advise we were fairly regular and this recent visit was surprisingly bad. I received complete silence. No joke. When the man did finally speak, he effectively said not sure what you want me to do. The neighbourhood is really growing, and lots of new restaurants are opening. The lack of attention and effort will certainly bring our dollars to another location.

Good small italian restaurant

As the name of this restaurant implies Oregano Pizza & Pasta, you would imagine that they would make good quality pizza and pasta. Well definitely not the case here as the pizza is disgusting smelling like sweat of the owner. Also overpriced for what you get, after adding cost of few toppings.

Over priced and terrible service. They cancelled an Uber Eats order at the very end of the delivery window. This order was place the day before! Nice service.

Amazing food. Amazing quality. Portion sizes are decent. Prices are fine for what you get. It is pretty slow service there though. That is the only drawback. So do not go if you are in a rush. Other than that, staff are friendly and helpful.

Food is great and atmosphere is comfortable. Its on the little pricey side but going there occasionally is worth it.

The pizza was really good - thin crust, nice ingredients. There is a big choice of pizzas, but there are not too many meat ones, at least in classic section, but I would recommend the calzone one with proscuitto. The place is not cheap, but looks kinda classy and service is good. Lots of other food on the menu, we didnt try.

This is my first time trying out Oregano Pizza & Pasta. This place is a nice place to have a meal. The decor is nice. You walk in and can clearly see their wood oven. The server was super friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 pizzas and both were very tasty. One pizza was with olive oil, olives, capers and oregano (very tasty). The other pizza was the hawaiian style pizza (equally good, according to my kids). They were nice enough to accomodate one extra topping of pepperoni. Theres plenty of parking here. Will need to return another time to try out the other menu items. There is fish, pastas and steak available as well. So far, I would recommend this place for great pizzas!

Terrible. i paid $29 for a small that was terrible and had nothing on it! i got a 3 meat pizza & added 2 more meat toppings & 2 vegteble and paid for not only double cheese but triple! what i got is paper thin, feels, looks & tastes like theres 1 topping on it & literally has no cheese. not to mension the crispy paper thin crust burnt in some areas when i asked for thick crust. $30 for a small and it was terrible in all ways. and the kind girl working there said she got me a discount!

The eggplant parmigiana did not taste fresh and was not cooked thru. Could likely be a frozen one that was microwaved. Had 2 pieces of cauliflower and 2 slices of dehydrated carrots as vegetables on the side. Could not finish the lunch! Not worth the $20.

Best Italian food!!! Great selection on the menu, big portions and reasonable prices. Stuff were very friendly. The location is a bit sneaky in the middle of the neighborhood but so worth the visit! Also close to Elgin mills cinema if you want to extend your hangout :) I enjoyed every bite of it and definitely will come back. My hubby and I ordered Bruschetta (wow!), chicken and veggies soup, Mediterranean salad and Fusili res pasta. Yum!!!! You can sit or take out...

We ordered for pick up .. Cheese agnolotti - spinach completely missing in action (was thinking to call, but it s not like we were going to drive back for a handful of spinach) Spaghetti carbonara - ok, slightly under seasoned Risotto di mare - fine, but not special This was our first time. Maybe we ll try something different next time, since lots of people said the pizza was great.

Yummy! Authentic Italian food. Their pizzas are wood fire pizza. I love myself a good wood fire pizza. A small joint with cozy environment. The sever is super nice but a little over work since she was the only one here. But good food and good ambience.

Avoid the poison good. I have been there twice, and both times have spoil dish. Last night, I ordered mussels in white wine and spaghetti and pizza. But most of the food were spoiled. This morning, my two kids have serious diarrhea. The restaurant didnt charge me the musscels because I returned it right after I tasted them. My kids were having the spaghetti before I did. But once I taste it, obviously its spoiled. But my kids were almost finishing it. The waitress didnt offer a return. This restaurant keep charged me that spoil dish. If my kids are fine this morning, I would not write this review. If you want some detox, you can try this restaurant.

Mediocre food - gnocchi was over cooked and didn t taste homemade or fresh. Ambiance was nice though. Still have to ask: why would a fancy Italian restaurant serve drinks with plastic straws!?? This is wasteful and most people prefer no straw with their drinks.

We are regular clients to this restaurant, however on New Years Day we went for dinner and was totally disappointed in the service and food. It took over an hour to get the food , the wrong type of piazza was made and the salmon special was awful.There was a small piece of dry salmon that was not worth $19. Pretty Disappointed. In addition to bringing the wrong piazza after an hour wait they did not remove from the bill. this would be a good gesture for customer service. We did want to return the piazza fear of having to wait another hour. The server was serious did not look too happy and never smile. A smile goes a long way. Overall experience was terrible. ...

Came to Oregano for lunch with my girlfriends. The place was empty, so the food came out fast. The server was super friendly and nice. Some dishes were great, like pizza and fish special. But things like fried calamari were way to oily and overfried, plus for $11 portion other places serve way more of those. Mussels didnt test great either. Thats why Im taking one star out.
