一間極有誠意為閣下提供香港傳統地道美食既小店
Authentic Hong Kong style cart noodle that the food absorbed all favours from the soup. The Sweet & Sour Gluten and the Cuttle Fish & Pork Intestine are very delicious. There is a special tea set menu offer for ordering before 5:30pm. Don't miss that.
Authentic and Yummy cart noodles! This is exactly the taste from my childhood memories. Curry fish balls are chewy. The broth tastes flavourful. The pork blood is exactly the same as what I ate in Hong Kong. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and nice! I will come again for sure!!!
I came here at around 3:00 PM on a Saturday, there were tables available, not a big place but does the job for quick turn around businesses. Immediately I walked in, greeted by the friendly staff who assigned me with a seat. She also quickly pointed out to me that the afternoon tea special is available during the time and day I am here. The special is $13 + tax for 3 of a kind toppings with a choice of noodles + a hot/cold beverage. I chose curry fish balls + pork intestine + pork blood with oil noodles. The broth was clean with some flavour, not too salty which is nice. I like the oil noodles which is al dente, chewy and not soggy, the bowl of noods came quickly and the portion was reasonable. 4 curry fish balls and there were about 6-8 small pork blood cube pieces. The highlight for me was the pork intestine, it's a very difficult and time consuming ingredient, yet the chef took the time to clean the organ as there ain't any bad smell or taste to it, so it was great. I do prefer they offer more variety of toppings though, if they could offer curry squid or cow mix such as beef stomach, and other beef organs that would be nice, coz they only offer beef tendon brisket at extra $1.00 CDN and sliced beef as other beef option. Otherwise, I enjoyed the cart noodles flavour, price and service. I ordered the cold iced lemon tea, cold beverage at no extra charge for this afternoon tea combo which is a major plus. When I left the resto, I noticed they have menu signs on its windows, I noticed they offered lunch special at $15.99 + tax with a few set noods/rice + a choice of an appetizer + hot/cold drink, pretty good price and options. I will come back to try those. Some of the items I would like to try in the future would be spicy stir fried squid, de-boned cold chicken feet, bowl son stew, so many snacks that I wanted to try especially the fried fish skin.
I would say that the most authentic Hong Kong food in TRT is the intestine skewers and the dipping sauce. They are the best explanation. However, the quality of the intestines here is a bit different, and some people might find the smell strong. If someone is afraid of the smell, I would recommend not ordering it.
The braised pork hock was good - would recommend. Lamb Soup just so-so, soup base tasted OK but only a few pieces of machine sliced meat; it came with rice too so price wise wasn't a bad deal. The cold dish we had was good and refreshing.
The owner, who previously ran a cart noodle place in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, has brought the authentic flavors and vibe to this new location. From the interior design to the order paper, everything is perfectly spot on and authentic. One of their signature noodle toppings, the sweet and sour gluten, is a perfect enjoyment for summer. The beef tendon and brisket were nicely cooked and perfectly seasoned. I also loved their Hong Kong styled milk tea, which was very well done. The service lady was very attentive. They offer some very economical lunch and afternoon tea promotions that are definitely worth checking out.
Worth a try.. the service in the front was good and that’s the reason it was bumped up to 3 stars I would recommend 2/4 dishes we had. The cart noodle was yummy. And the fried intestine was good. 2/5 stars The Satay Beef Rice Noodle were too soft, like noticeable quality issue with the cooking of the noodle. Go for the cart noodle instead (the yellow one called “oil noodle”) 2/5 The Beef Offals, $15.99, nothing special at all.. after ordering and eating it, the most memorable part of this dish was the price.
Pretty authentic HK style noodles. You can customize your own toppings and noodles to your likings. We really enjoyed the skewers as not many restaurants make these. Restaurant was pretty clean and spacious. The service was also very good.
Authentic cart noodles with amazingly flavored toppings and soup. Serves super quick and good spicy levels if selected. Has a wide selection of other dishes as well like imitation shark fin soup.
I love cart noodle
One of the best traditional Hong Kong style noodles. Lunch set is worth a try.
First impression while waiting, the smell of real Hong Kong cart noodles!!! Keep your hk characters please, thats what we missed. Service was very good, friendly, attentive and fast. The broth is very traditional, exact cart noodles taste like Hong Kongs, and the hot sauce! And low or no msg! Thats very important to us, sadly most food in Toronto has way too much msg. So we love this place already! Food came out extremely fast. All the toppings we had were excellent, broth and noodles as well. Love that they have sweet and sour wheat gluten!!! Thank you for offering that! Pork skin and fish balls are best weve had in Toronto. Shiitaki mushroom are good. Pork intestines are good and cleaned. MMD. Hainanese chicken is not bad too! I always take 1 order home. The only thing we didnt enjoy was their milk tea, very bland... so we go for iced lemon tea or coffee. You all have done a great job, keep it up. Thank you so much for bringing real cart noodles to Toronto! For people comparing the other cart noodles also on hwy 7, this is way more traditional real taste, while the other one is... diff... the other one put more effort in cooking topping separately to make them stands out, they are good... but thats not traditional cart noodles plus they use quite some msg there... we much prefer this place as food taste like what we missed, the real traditional authentic hk cart noodles!
The broth is flavourful and they give you a lot of noodles. We added extra noodles and it is actually another full bowl of noodles. The service is very friendly. I enjoyed my experience overall.
Try the beef offal soup noodles, Hainanese chicken rice and bowl of wings! Delicious! The frozen lemon tea is delicious! The waitress is super nice! The price is affordable and the taste is delicious I will continue to order it again!
The taste is ordinary, fourteen mosquitoes++ Raw cuttlefish with four skewers and fifteen mosquitoes++ Just tried it.
Best authentic cart noodle in Toronto.
One of the best noodles in Richmond Hill.
2024 Aug: today gave it a 2nd chance, cart noodle and beef offal noodle r both lots of MSG. rating lowered from 2 stars to 1 2024 Feb: The curry fish ball & pork rind noodle has no curry taste. The fried green pepper & red sausage, as can be seen in the pic, barely fried. The beef offal was 80% full after added the soup, it tasted salty, after added 20% water, soup taste fine but still a bit sweet. However, the beef offal was still quite salty. If for health reason, there should be less crane sugar & salt.
Amazing dining experience at cart noodle house .The food is fresh and delicious . Love their signature cart noodles with various choices of toppings
Today I have something to go to Richmond Hill, and I finally have time to pay my respects for the first time. The boss lady, the boss and the waitress are both very nice and attentive. I bought a takeaway raw sausage. The boss lady asked me about my driving distance and put an ice pack in to keep the temperature low. Thank you very much. The fried and brewed double treasures served in the dine-in restaurant are also of very high quality. I have only been in Canada for seven months, and the service attitude here is the best among the many Hong Kong-style tea restaurants. In addition, due to the request of my wife and son, I ordered a lot of raw intestines for takeout today. I apologize to other friends who wanted to eat but were unable to do so. The taste is really good.
Great place for a quick noodle fix
Too crowded atmosphere as spaces not enough and service not bad sooo I m giving 4.4/5 points at least good well some order is better and staff not bad as honest!! And the food is worst isn t tasty is hard need to change !!
I appreciated how the people there treated with my kids order that my kid has food allergy. They completed our order with care, my kid was not disappointed. In fact, food is really good. Kid-friendliness: Talk to them for allergy, as they mentioned on their menu. They listen and know what to do.
I visited this restaurant and ordered a noodle soup with three toppings. The taste was mediocre, and it had a sour smell. I couldnt finish the noodle and had to leave. An hour later, I started vomiting and had explosive diarrhea multiple times. I had to give it a one-star rating. ------------- Thank you for your feedback. It was indeed a terrible experience, and Im grateful I didnt need to go to the emergency room. Ultimately, ensuring food safety is the top priority.
The food is not bad but has room for improvement, a few items went out of stock, definitely need to work on stock management. The staff provided excellent service, they care how the customer feels by recommending the right combination of food.
Great food. Some of the best cart noodles I ve ever had. Fast serving speed, good soup base and food quality, waiters were nice and welcoming, cheap food. Don t know what more you want from a restaurant in Canada but a really good place to have a meal imo.
Absolutely old school style of cart noodles Hong Kong style. Love the little tea cup as well, which is exactly what youd find in HK as well. Love the soy sauced wings, the stuffed pepper and sausages were decent.
Amazing! Bring back memory of authentic Hong Kong street food! Must eat!
Looking back
Milk tea is average, frozen mandarin duck is better, cart noodles are ok, Thai Hainanese chicken rice - the chicken tastes good and a bit slippery, chicken oil rice is looser; special price of noodles or rice snacks and hot and cold drinks is $15 + tax, which is reasonable. The food is served quickly, close to Hong Kong style speed.
Very Hong Kong style cart noodles.
Yummy
Very good noodles Great Hong Kong style food.
So good! My parents are from Hong Kong and said this place tastes real authentic. Ive never had from HK before but I love the soup base here very rich and flavourful , and the yellow noodles go perfect with it
Wow their foods good! Too yummy and we forgot to take photos. Broth on the sweet side--if the sweetness can come down by a quarter? Will definitely return for more pork intestines. And radish. And everything else
Tasty noodles :) the broth was good and rich.
I would say this is a really genuine Hong Kong style street noodle production. No more air tickets to Hong Kong for such delicious noodles. Coco provides the best service. There is nowhere you can find such good service in Hong Kong at all. Strongly recommend. Also, they have special from lunch to dinner. Please read the provide picture about their menu.
Tastes great! The taste of Hong Kong Che Tsai Noodles is excellent in all kinds of dishes! Squid with intestines in front of the theater Next time I go to eat the Thai Hainanese chicken rice from Qu Di By the way, it would be nice if the spicy sauce could be spicier!
It is a long-established Hong Kong Cart Noodles shop. It sells Hong Kong Cart Noodles and opened in Toronto, so it tastes better than the authentic ones in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Once you eat it, you will know that our place is blessed, and we must support it! Today I went to eat again and it was of a high standard and very delicious!
Delicious H.K style streets foods finally found in G.T.A
I was craving for Hong Kong style cart noodles today. So found this joint in Markham and we drove all the way from sauga to satisfy my nostalgic craving. The service was excellent, very friendly folks and clean place - has a mom and pop shop feel. Food was alright. For most folks, its just a very regular bowl of noodles. I added curry fish balls, pork skin, veggies and mushrooms with thick round noodles and medium spicy (you can select your spicy level). The curry fish balls lack curry flavour unfortunately but texture was alright. For four toppings, it costs $13.99+tax. I really enjoyed my cold yuen yeung (mix of Hong Kong milk tea and coffee) tho. That was the highlight. All things consider, its a spot for a quick bite if you crave for this famous nostalgic childhood HK street food.
Legit cart noodles.
Food was excellent; 90% of HongKong the other 10% is probably due to hard to source ingredients in Canada. Overall I can feel they try hard to make it well. Thank you for bringing the taste to Toronto.
Update: Went back again recently and everything was as good as last time. Their hot chili oil is very good, not super spicy but definitely has a kick to it. They have an afternoon tea special $13.99 for a 3 toppings cart noodle plus a drink! Not a big restaurant but it didn t feel cramped. Service was very good, servers were all very polite and efficient. I enjoyed the noodles I had very much. All the toppings were good individually, generous serving. The broth was flavourful, a tad on the sweet side though but somehow it worked. Will be back.
Awesome noodles brings back memory! Only thing chicken wing not spicy as menu. Other than that we love it ! Some items was sold out when we were there will go back for sure ! Food
The fried intestines are so good! !
Best cart noodle in the area. Food is very good, Service is good. 4.5 stars Those who gave bad reviews do not really know what cart noodles really taste like!!! This is so far the best in the area. support this business!!
This review was based on the food I got from take out delivery. First off, they gave me flat noodles instead of round noodles, I even got extra noodles but now I am stuck with the type of noodles I don t like. Also, the squid tentacles were disappointing, compare to the pictures where people dine in, what I receive did not look similar. The sauce is super watery and portion is small, seems like they gave me the small and end chopped up pieces just because it is a take out delivery. The radish, pork blood and pork skin is delicious but I don t think I will go back again
the rice noodle was a little more al dente than I wouldve liked, but still delicious. clean place, excellent service
very authentic hong kong style noodle
Best Hainanese Chicken Rice and Spicy Chicken Wings
Good food, real taste of Hong Kong
Delicious
I sincerely recommend the best frozen Yuanyang (less sweet) Yuanyang .
What a bowl of Che Tsai noodles Recommended
Rediscover the Hong Kong flavor of Che Tsai Noodles The environment is decorated, simple and tidy. The store clerk is very polite when you meet me. Great value for money, the best noodles in Toronto.
Tastes good
Ordered takeout of their afternoon tea and it was ready within 15 min. The noodles were tasty - not too soft. The curry fishballs were very tasty - not too spicy so you could still taste the fishballs under the sauce. The fried fish skin is a huge portion - it was flaky, crispy and light (of you prefer thicker/harder/crunchier fish skin, this might not be the kind youd like).
My husband is a HongKonger, and he said the food is very impressive and authentic, which made him feel like going home. The service and food are both good even it s only the second day they operate the restaurant, which surprised me.
It s my first time to try this cart noodle shop. The soup base is delicious. The large intestine, pork belly and beef brisket are very delicious. Only the chicken wings are a little less flavorful but it s still worth a try. Fortunately, it s takeout today because it will arrive at around 2pm. Still have to wait! Will definitely try dine-in again!
Tried this place today for lunch after reading some reviews about the long wait time and wrong orders. They have obviously improved substantially. We waited five minutes for a table of 4 which is more than reasonable for a small place like this. The servers and owner were very friendly and attentive. I especially like their chili oil and asked if I can buy a bottle home. The owner came out from the kitchen and apologized that she didn t make enough for selling but promised she will do so in the future. Overall, the food is great, would recommend pork intestines, pork skin, curry fish balls on the yellow noodles. The shark fin soup is not as thick as the street one and the color is a bit off as well. I will definitely go back to try more. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.8/5 Environment: 4/5
Absolutely horrible experience. Got our order wrong. Soup and Noodles lacked flavour and tasted watered down. Staff was incompetent. Do not recommend. Kid-friendliness: Terrible environment with untrained staff trying to walk around with hot bowls of soup
Today, the takeaway fish bowl with wings was only watery and full of meat
Great services and truly authentic street market noodle soup from HK
Childhood memories! So glad you opened a store in Toronto!
Their taste is very authentic and they really try to be replicate their Wan Chai origin recipes. They are still in soft launch mode and they had to close a few days last week for maintenance, I am fortunate to get a chance to try them out today. I came in 45 minutes after opening on a Saturday and the restaurant was already filled to capacity, fortunately I am first in-line. It s a fast service eatery so I only have to wait for 10 mins to get seated. But by then 8 others were already waiting behind us and the standing area is small. One of my kids had red sausage and fish balls with thick noodles. Tastes ok My other kid had red sausage with curry fish ball & thin noodles with light spice. The broth was great. Thin noodles were light and tasty. We also tried the medium spicy thick noodle. The spicy was good but I personally like the broth taste from the broth the HK noodle place more. That place also had more broth options to begin with. The side dish radish/pig skin/pig jelly was above average. Portion was good too but I like the jelly to come in bigger pieces and I wished the radishes to be sweeter. Last but not least, their cold milk tea is not bad at all, right balance of tea & milk served cold without ice. Worth a try, just be sure to visit at the right time or risk lineup as it is a new place in the neighbourhood.
The food tasted very salty. Besides being salty, it s still salty. Some people say that this store is a century-old store, but I don t believe it at all.
Edit on March 25: Got a chance to tried the food today and rating stays the same based on the food quality. Long line ups and I am happy for them! All in all, The bowl of noodle is considered a good one to me. but The wings is abit over cooked to my liking and another point I want to mention is (I could be wrong), some of the ingredients in my bowl seems to be cooked together with pork intestines at some point as I don t like the aroma too much.. again I could be wrong and imagining things . The noodle is nice and hot with good texture and decent soup base, is a good bowl! - Really wanted to try this new place but they pretty much run out of many food items. At least they are honest about it and tell me up front before getting seated and not waited until we sat down, I really appreciated that. So we just ordered a HK milk tea take out to try as a test .. :) it s a nice cup of HK milk tea ! the 4 stars is based on this milk tea. Will visit again and try the food next time and update the ratings !
Expectations are too high, come back disappointed... too ordinary...
traditionally authentic cart noodle flavours, good portion. Very contented!
The chicken wings were undercooked and frozen. The squid was slightly warm and lacked flavor. Milk tea has no tea flavor. Others are average, and the price/performance ratio is very low for this price.
Taste close to Hong Kong , soup base is great, worth to try, will go back! Parking: Parking is good, not hard to find.
3. Fried noodles, beef brisket, large intestine, and sour vegetarian food - I recommend the large intestine, it is clean and not too fat and will not be too crumbly and wet. The beef brisket is ok. The hot milk tea has some smells that are not smooth enough and can be improved. There was no problem with the service. The bill was $18 with tips, which was reasonable. The key point - to taste the taste of Hong Kong Cart Noodles - Notice from the Hong Kong Food Friends Meeting. Will come back and try others.
Tasty cart noodle. I had beef brisket, red sausage, sweet and sour glutinous. All so very yummy. Brought back memories of all those old years..!
It has everything you need for a car noodle. The presentation is not too particular, but you can enjoy the authentic taste of Hong Kong. There are also. . Hong Kong style street hot sauce what else can one ask for?
The products are still generally available, maybe they are newly opened, I will check back later to see if there are any new breakthroughs.
This place reminds me of my childhood cart noodle in Hong kong. If you re from Hong Kong and want to have some cart noodle this is the place to go! Very happy that you opened!
Takes forever to get the bill. There was a hair in the noodles too. Terrible experience
Childhood memories, yummy
New restaurant not enough connecting with good supplier major HK style fish ball not available
We had to wait in line outside for quite a while which may have raised our expectations too much. We ordered the noodles with brisket, tendon, chicken wings, and red sausage. The soup was not especially flavourful, nor the sausage nor wings. And the wings was not tender enough. Brisket was ok. The fish skin was nicely thin and crispy, but flavour profile only salt. I dont want to be harsh to them since they are still in soft opening mode, maybe things will improve in the future.
Soft opening review Free wifi available Cash or debit only Limited seating (seats about 26) One single stall unisex washroom Cart noodle you can build your own bowl with discounted drink options or order a la carte specials. Some HK snacks available or order. Homemade chili sauce available for purchase at $13 + tax a jar. To be honest, room for improvement for this soft opening but not bad. Portions are a good size but could use more variety in toppings. Flavours are ok Beef tendon balls and beef slices were tender. My beef tendons were sliced too small almost look like scraps. My plate of fish skin were also in bits and pieces like it came from the bottom of a bag. Imitated shark fin soup with fish pieces was generous in portion but too watery, needs colour and flavour. The milk tea mix was also too watery, not creamy enough. Also spotted many of bottles Maxim instant coffee in their pantry. Hoping to see their improvement soon
Finally got a chance to try this is my childhood memory. But in my opinion, the quality of food in HK is better than here, not sure why maybe the food supply issues in Toronto is different. In general, food is good and service is good as well, staffs are polite and well served. I was ordered & for my bowl of noodle, I like the but I prefer can taste more curry. I also ordered too, in my knowledge have 3 different kind in one dish, however they only have 2 different kinds such as & I was disappointed not included .
Restaurant is still in soft opening, but so far so good ! Food is good, service is quick, and we will definitely be back to try other items. Just a few comments: (1) the complimentary hot tea cups were a bit greasy to the touch, not sure if they are being washed too quickly to the quick turnover; (2) the noodle topping portions may need to be reconsidered for consistency/quantity between different portions. For example, we got 4 or 5 curry fishballs as one topping, but only 2 beef balls as another. Additional toppings to the noodles are $3 each, so you might feel good about adding on the curry fishballs but not so good about adding on beef balls. Like I said, well be back for sure.
Interesting selection of traditional cart noodles.
The taste is just right, not too salty, too strong or MSG-y. You can drink it without drinking water after eating. It has the taste of 70 to 80% of the old Hong Kong shops from before. It is not easy to recreate the traditional taste with Canadian ingredients. Please continue to work hard! Recommendation: The must-eat curry squid, if you can add money to buy lo mein noodles, and also add the noodles with soup base, it should be a real hit and a big seller!
We ordered two 2-toppings and one 3-toppings. The pork chop and pig intestine w/round noodle, the pork chop were sliced in 3 pieces of which one piece was cold. The 3 toppings served with thin noodle, the noodle was too soft like overcooked which we would expect to be chewy. Adding the spicy sauce to your soup base really makes a difference. Service was good
Very few options of cart noodle around the area. The rice noodles are very thin type, sauce is yummy, few options comparing to but soup is more tasty. Gets very busy after 1145 already people waiting.
We are happy to hear this cart noodle house open their business in Richmond Hill. We all missed this Hong Kong style street food and taste a lot. Foods and service were great.
Your broth has no taste and is not piping hot. Nothing special.
Tasty food at reasonable price, best Hong Kong style noodle in town.
authentic , just like eating it in hk
This is the second time I come over with my friends. The quality of the food and taste is much much better than they newly open, food is good and service is good too. I will bring more friends over to try the best in Toronto.
I was here with my friend while they are still soft running. We were a little disappointed on their toppings and soup. Soup and the toppings are too mundane, not much flavour while Cart Noodle is supposed to be a bit stronger taste kind of food. But the noodle itself is very tasty, it s actually delicious, not just the texture, it s somehow ringed my bell when I put in my mouth. I also tried the Curry Squid Tentacles, it Looks tasty but it s tasteless, the tentacles is tender but just felt like forget to put salt or something. I hope they can get better next time when I come back
I have to praise the pork intestines, they are washed really well, the homemade sauce is so good, and the chili oil added is so fragrant and gamey, and the car noodles have a Hong Kong flavor. However, the beef tendon is not flavourful enough, and the raw fried curry squid is not tasty enough. It needs to be improved. Work hard and come on! !
very good
Inexpensive, delicious and affordable, the radish, pig and red pig skin are the best
Very friendly staff. Love the food, simple, cozy. Love going to .
Came here twice with my family. Delicious and the most authentic cart noodles that you can find in the GTA! Reminds me of true Hong Kong taste. A must try!
I love the noodles here and the variety of toppings you can get! Also price is definitely on the affordable side. The beef brisket is tender and curry fishballs are soft and juicy! I find the side dishes forgettable and would like to try the rice mains next time. Their milk tea is good here too!! Will definitely come back. Go for medium spice!
Really good and authentic Hk style Cart noodle House.
Hong Kong Style noodles, yummy soup base and all the ingredients are good. Try the side dishes as well, all very authentic. Owner has been making the same food in Hong Kong for a long time and its well known there.
This Hong Kong-style Cart Noodle House is absolutely fantastic and truly authentic. It has brought back all the cherished memories from my childhood. Its truly an amazing experience!
All aspects are average. We order one bowl of noodles each, and one plate is appetizer: deep fried wonton and spring rolls which were not very fresh. I belive they were re- fried so it is over fried and I do not like such taste.
Very WanChai Cart Noodle!
The best frozen lemon tea!
A great place for a quick lunch. Noodles is delicious and Chili oil is a must try (I believe is made in house)
The best cart noodles I had in my life. (In Toronto and Hong Kong)
Authentic HK taste
Good food. Good service. A little restaurant that gives you the local feel of eating at a local Hong Kong cafe and eatery. Little things could ve been done to improve their feng shui environment. Parking: Lots. Kid-friendliness: Of course.
Value for money is a bit low There is a difference between portion size and price It is not recommended to go when you are too hungry.
Food taste pretty good and authentic, and the staffs are very friendly and professional. Definitely will go again.
I am a neighbor of Da Fok Hau, so happy to see them here. Thanks for taking care of the Kou Fuk, a neighborhood of Admiralty in Wan Chai, for many years. I don t mind having a quick meal to regain the flavor. Recommend bottled chili sauce!
A touch of kids memory of eating while standing on the street back in Hong Kong.
Excellent dining experience at Cart Noodle House! Their food is definitely authentic, fresh and delicious! Love their signature cart noodles with a variety of topping choices. My favourites are fish ball, pig blood, pig intestine and radish. Would highly recommend their cart noodles, deep fried pork intestine, and stuffed peppers and red sausages! If youre looking for great food, great staff and great service, this place is it!
Delicious cart noodle! Chewy noodles and fun toppings. Hoping in the future there will be more toppings to select from.
Good food ! Gonna have the spicy sauce! Bring back HongKong memories can t find in other places here
Very polite, friendly staff nice, soup base was really flavorful beef got thick noodle 3 toppings red sausage beef brisket and fish ball super tasty will be back
Went for quick lunch, clean place, good service and explain in detail how to order my noodle bowl as this is my first visit, I have fish ball, pig blood, pig skin, favour matching Hong Kong style, reasonable lunch combo with a drink, my cold Hong Kong style milk tea is perfect
The taste of the chicken and soup base is good, similar to Hong Kong taste. Unfortunately, the chili sauce is sweet rather than spicy. It is called spicy but it is only slightly spicy (I usually only eat medium spicy in other places). I hope this can be improved or we can make more varieties. Really spicy sauce.
Welcome this new Hong Kong style noodle cafe to Richmond Hill. We have Sets A and B for lunch. Appreciate very much that: 1. the fish balls and the yellow noodle are al dente; 2. the pig intestines are cleaned thoroughly and flavoured properly; 3. the white carrot is soft and sweet; 4. the Hong Kong style milk tea is silky; 5. the soup base of the noodle tastes well and not too salty; 6. the pan fried fish meat with green pepper is well cooked; and 7. pepper powder and red vinegar of prime quality are selected, which augment the taste of the imitated shark fin soup. The place is clean. The sun room is sufficient. The attendants are polite, attentive and diligent. Even though we have paid a bill, they are still diligent to give us some more hot tea. Impressive. A delightful experience of taste, environment and service. Highly recommended.
Small restaurant with 14 tables for 2 people. When we walked in today, most of the tables were pushed together. You order your own cart noodles. Variety of choices from thin to thick noodles, vermicelli, spicy level. You can choose 2 to 4 toppings (curry fish ball, beef slice, red sausage, vegetables, and much more). We ordered the following: 1. 2 toppings (curry fish ball and beef slice) with thin noodles 2. 2 toppings (curry fish ball and beef tendon) with thin noodles 3. deep fried fish skin 4. iced lemon tea The food comes out quickly. Generous portion size of noodles, but not too much toppings amount. The fried fish skin was very crispy and light.
Need to retrain the waiter, no smile no welcome. And the noodles Omg just won t come again..
It tastes like Hong Kong Che Tsai Noodles! Reasonable price and first-class taste~
Great !!! Definitely Hong Kong taste !!!! Worth to come again even need to drive 25 mins . Wish a day get a branch near Markham !!! Keep it up!!!! Food : 5/5
First time visit. Great service, tasty food, loved their Hong Kong style milktea, fair pricing, will definitely return!!!
Hong Kong flavor! The taste of Hong Kong!
Not just another Che Tsai Noodles. I went without expectations as I ve already been disappointed by many old n new Hong Kong style tea meals in the York region. What I ordered was just the simplest Curry Fish Dan Pork Chops Rice and Fried Fish Skin lunch set The ingredients are fresh, the rice noodles are long and smooth, the soup is really not watery, the fish skin is thin and crispy, the fish meat has a fishy taste, and the sauce does not overpower the soup. The chef must have taken each dish very seriously. A very comfy heart warming Hong Kong taste. Highly recommended. Too bad I do not eat pig intestines, they have a specialty fried pig intestines
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! LOVE their cart noodles with many types of toppings and noodles to choose from. Their chicken rice is delicious as well. The prices are a few dollars cheaper than comparable restaurants. For $2 extra at lunch time, you can get a combo with a side dish and drink - well worth it. The service is SUPER friendly and attentive and the restaurant is very clean.
Sincere and delicious
Good, fast, and tasty noodles in soup. Better than the many won tong soup noodles.
Nice and genuine HK style cart noodle.
Taste of Hong Kong
Best cart noodles in town! Especially cleaned thoroughly and tasty. Must try
Ate cart noodles with 4 toppings for lunch. The soup base is the reason i give 3 stars. Just disappointed. The good thing is that drink is included in the meal.
Fast service, no frills, had great customer interaction and food was very good, especially with the cheap price and value for food! Would go again!
Decent HK style noodle place. Prices are quite cheap compared to other places, for now - $9.95 for noodles and two toppings, at the time of my visit in fall 2023. Service is fast and attentive. I found a bug in my soup and quickly got a new bowl.
Delicious cart noodles, Hong Kong-style soup base, delicious, enough noodles, and affordable price! It s rare to find it in Toronto!
If you wish to taste the authentic cart noodle, you will never disappoint with their delicious noodle Keep up your great work Food
The BEST cart noodle in Town
I have eaten it a few times and it tastes good, but no matter whether it is dine-in or takeout, as long as I order a bowl of rice noodles and the same bowl of rice noodles at the same time, I will get a wrong meal. One series has two bowls of rice noodles, the other series has two bowls of rice noodles. I hope the kitchen will pay attention to it in the future.
Good value and fast service.
The real Hong Kong street stall noodle taste, no fuss, no pretense. Many people say that the soup base is not tasty enough. Maybe some friends have misunderstood. Che Tsai Noodles is originally a street noodle dish. The ingredients and soup base are all common people in old Hong Kong. The source of the taste is the sauce. Che Tsai Noodles Home seems to be Use the same approach. Unfortunately, many friends are afraid of spicy food, so they will not add spicy sauce. Then, the bowl of Che Zai noodles will most likely not taste good. Next time, try using less spicy food, or add the spicy sauce separately, and the effect will be completely different.
2023 December 3.5 A small noodle shop that offers nostalgic HK style noodles and snacks. Expect dishes to come out quick. Almost fast food like and as such, wait times are not long. At most expect at most 30 minutes. Theres seating for about 24. Set A Cart Noodle with Fish Ball/Curry Fish ball, Radish, Beef slices. Choice of Specialty Spicy Sauce. This was ok. The curry fish balls were certainly bouncy. The radish was perfectly soft and flavorful. The beef slices was the right thickness and texture, but wasnt tender enough. Overall, was ok. Set C Thai Style Chicken Rice The chicken was silky and smooth as expected. Anything less would be bad. The flavors were just right. Would recommend. Choose your own. 4 topping. Spicy sauce. Pork Skin - ok. A bit thinner but still decent texture. Pork blood - standard. Pork Intestine - this was done very good. Just perfect flavor and chewiness yet tender enough. Spicy Chicken Wing - braised. this was ok. Side snacks 1.Stuffed peppers and Red Sausage (3pcs) - was good. 2.Deep Fried Fish Skin Very good. Thin and very crunchy. 3.Imitation Shark Fin Soup - pretty good and pretty authentic. Would recommend. Personally, the spicy soup base was good and choosing your own toppings is much much better than the toppings in the combo. Though the cheaper option is the combo. Items are a hit and miss. But still certainly worth a try and its not too expensive.
A good noodle place for lunch. Staff is friendly with great services. Hong Kong style coffee and tea are smooth and rich.
