We had the breakfast this morning. It was very good. Menu has a lot of things especially for meat lovers. Great service and family friendly restaurants. Recommend to come and try it.

Ordered T-bone steak and when my order was serve there were hair on the food. Sent it back to get a new meal. When the replacement was serve I was told that everything was re done but its wasnt, it was replated new mash potato new vegetable and the steak because it was not replace it was thrown back in the grill making it well done which I ordered medium rare and told me everything was re done. Never will go back to this place. I would continue supporting my small restaurant I gone for years at the corner of Bayview and Elgin mill called scrumptious.

I was in Richmond Hill branch tonight with 2 different groups of friends. We were there around 6pm with my first group of friends. A lady came to us and asked if we are ready for order and we told her not yet. After 20 min while no one came back to us I went and talk to a waitress if any one is there to get our order. After 5 min a new waitress came to us and told us that we have to be patient (just for coffee ) she got our order and served us. At 7pm a new group of my friends came and the previous group left. We sat in a new place. Unfortunately, until 8:30pm (1 hour and half) no one came to us to get our order. And we left Terrible service.

They were very skimpy on the food. I ordered a chicken souvlaki on a pita. The chicken was under cooked and very little (only 3 pieces) and they changed me $20 just for a small sandwich. I didnt have a good experience in that restaurant and unfortunately not gonna go back.

Every local community needs a 24hr go to diner. Brings back memories from the original M Station in Scarborough. Our waitress May is super friendly and took care of us so well. Food is on point and the roasted potatoes is the reason I keep coming back. Always cooked to perfection. Yum. Sorry was hungry so didn t take pictures again! Maybe next time

Amazing customer experience to report: from the moment I called Markham station in Richmond Hill at Elgin Mills an Yonge I had a most articulate, clear speaking, caring and menu educated take out specialist on the phone. This young man was even more pleasant in person when I came to pick up my order, as he Made suggestions gave opinions and alongside assurance regarding order specifications. Truly they teach us that the first impression doesn t start with walking in the door but it begins with either on the phone or what correspondence is involved on in an email. After taking the meal home I was so excited about the roast potatoes as I am a Gen X, from Toronto, and have not had proper roast potatoes sin back in the day when Astoria made these succulent buttery melton your mouth roast potatoes well let me tell you potato lovers Run don t walk to this restaurant you will never get a potato like this in fact if you make something on the barbeque rather than order a main course from this fantastic establishment get the roast potatoes the managers name is John he has a fabulous background and takes pride in what he does in the restaurant and how the brand Markham station is represented he does not mess around and has an extreme amount of knowledge regarding proper food temperature and take-out containers. John was friendly also extremely knowledgable about the menu and a pleasure to have at the helm of this ship as most people are no longer able to talk about their family and pride in their jobs instead most people working in restaurants especially in Richmond Hill or more concerned with making a profit or dealing with those of their own common culture - Not the case for this manager he is a restaurant manager for the people he is an old school competent and kind person that wants you to love and enjoy the food at Markham Station. He cares about building a clientele and keeping a good customer happy that for me is equal to how the food tastes but the food that I and my father enjoyed was above and beyond quality. In fact if I am too tired to cook I will rely upon Markham station in Richmond Hill at Elgin Mills an Yonge to feed my family.

The food and services were all good, but after asking for the bill, the behaviour was completely different, I wanted to split the tip between two of the waitresses who were serving us, the main waitress was rude, I m not sure is the tips are mandatory for paying and if yes how much is it for these kinds of restaurants??!!!

First time here so I wasnt sure what to expect. It was nice inside. Better then you typical restaurant serving what I would consider typical greasy spoon fare. The food was a mixed bag. My club sandwich was quite good. Loads of mayo in a cup. I had the nachos as my side; they werent great and did not include nearly enough salsa. My wife had the spanakopita dish. The dish was quite warm to keep the spanakopita warm, but this had caused the salad to be warm as well, despite not being under the heat. The spanakopita was also really tough, not light and fluffy as it should be. Saving grace was the service... It was excellent. Sorry, I dont remember her name, but she was excellent.

My food had a long burnt hair in it hiding under the chicken i found half way through, and they tried to leave it on my bill . Yuck!

Jacob, one of the staff members is a phenomenal individual, he is so charismatic and kind and is a great multitasker. He was very charming and delightful to talk to while I was ordering. He didn t charge me for my extra sauces that I got, normally sauces cost $$$ but he was sweet enough to not charge and was incredibly great to talk to while I was waiting for my takeout order. Definitely come and try out the Eggs Benny :) 10/10

I ordered the California Benny. Wow! Perfect potatoes. The hollandaise sauce was incredible. I live about 40 mins away, happened to be in the area and extremely happy I gave it a try. I will make the drive for my next breakfast. Edit: Went back a week later, ordered some Tempura Cauliflower, and 2 egg breakfast, no meat. So fresh!

Avoid this place! They dont care about their customers and about their service. I had a very bad experience specially with the server called marry. She didnt bring my plate and she never asked if we need anything. She didnt even bring me water! Then she asked for 12% tip which is funny because it s my decision and tip is based on your service. The food was meh. I ordered the burger and it wasn t anything special. I will never come back here and I would recommend you if you wanna try this place go for another server. Maybe it was the attitude she gave me I had a bad experience and didnt liked the place.

This place has been our go-to for two years now, since its one of a very few places to be open very early morning breakfast on weekends, rather than 24-hr McDonalds or Tim Hortons. We love the breakfast special, the brief breakfast menu, which provides just enough options, not too many! We have had breakfasts in this place many, many time and almost with every group of our friends, and theyve all liked the atmosphere as well. The place is spacious enough that we never had to line up and wait for a table to get ready. Last week, for the first time, weve tried the dinner here with friends, and although Chef made a mistake with one of the 5 orders, the hostess went above and beyond to fix the issue with extra an extra portion! Weve always loved the service, too! I strongly recommend trying this 24 / 7 place if youve been in Richmond Hill Area.

The only restaurant which is open 24 hours. Been here many times since it opened, and was never disappointed. Food is consistently good, service is always great. It can get busy during normal hours, but at night its a terrific place to have a normal meal in a restaurant setting, as opposite to fast food drive-throughs. I value and respect these hard working folks who are there 24/7, and encourage everyone to come visit and support them. This is a unique, great place unlike any other.

Not only he but also two others who got my order were very helpful for me to choose menu and make an order. Food was awesome too, so my colleagues enjoyed them enough! A great place to get together with friends

Having lived in the area for a very long time, this has been a relatively new restaurant that has opened and being my first time here I was in for a surprise. The food was absolutely delicious, the servers working there were very kind, patient, and very accommodating. The art that they have on the walls with the bench tables, rustic chandeliers, and chairs are all fantastic and fit a very Canadian theme which you do not see as often in many sub urban areas. You feel as if you are having breakfast on a train traveling west across the Rockies while you are there as the passenger enjoying the experience. This is the type of design/décor that many businesses should learn from, they did an exceptional job of it.

Nice variety and all around solid food makes Markham station a great option at all times of day.

6 of us went at around 10:30pm on a weekday and there were only 2 people serving all the tables. The waitress was very nice, explained to us that is a busy night and because they do not assign server to one area, the tables assigned to her were in the opposite end of the restaurant, so it would take a little longer. We have been nothing but patient even though everything took extra long. At one point we were all tired and wanted to go home and so one of us was trying to get the attention of the only server that we could see. He basically lost it on my friend and said why did you have to raise your hand, we are all busy here, she will be with you soon. I feel like a principle here seeing you raise your hand, don t raise your hand. My friend was nice enough to just say okay but in reality, that is just unacceptable to lash out like that. We didn t complain about the milkshakes that never came, the empty water glasses that only got filled at the end, because we felt bad for the waitress. At the same time, the least we expect is that the same courtesy is extended to customers. The waiter might have lost it because he wasn t waiting on our table, this is just simply not okay.

My partner and I went for breakfast and really enjoyed the food and service. We went back tonight for dinner and had a completely different experience. We had chicken wings and garlic bread to start. Neither were bad but nothing special either. We had the Cajun burgers as our mains and this is where the night fell apart. Their burgers are awful. Cheap tasting and frozen. As others have said the fries taste like the cheap McCain fast fries you get at the grocery store. They aren t even deep fried. We wish we went across the street to McDonald s. The food would have tasted better. Will never be back. Stay away!

Never been disappointed at this location. The staff are super friendly and their service is good. Great meals at reasonable price. We like to go there for breakfast. Their burgers are amazing and portions are great . Parking: Plenty of parking as the lot is shared with other businesses and grocery store. Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere.

Had lunch with my family here. Staff are friendly specially Kush who was very nice and helped us in making choices to eat . Dishes come out quickly and was delicious. Seating is comfortable and in sections so offers some privacy and separation between tables.

Was greeted by a grumpy man who walked us by a half dozen dirty tables before seating us. No one acknowledged us for about 15 minutes, so we left. Short staffed I thought, but 2 of 3 staff I saw were on their phones. Not the first time. This was Sunday at 7pm.

Best breakfast in town

Been to the original location for many years. Decided to try out the new location in R Hill. Overall, it was a great experience.

The food was really good. However, the servers are rude and unwelcoming. So much attitude when responding to guests. No one bothered to check in on us once we got our food. It took us 30 minutes to receive our bills, despite asking 4 different servers for it (including our own server). One the bill came, it took another 10 minutes for them to bring the machine, which then had no paper and I had to do the transaction all over again since the transaction timed out the first time due to not having paper. It wasnt even busy when we first got there, that the servers were all standing around and talking amongst themselves.

Fairly regular customer of their take-out menu and after spending 123$, Uber Eats refused to refund for a menu item we did not receive from Markham Station. Called Markham Station directly and spoke to their Manager whose solution was either 1. going into their restaurant at some point to spend more money before getting a credit or 2. ordering through Uber Eats again and then calling them again to deal with this. Real customer service means not giving the customer more work to do for a screw-up that happened at the restaurant. This should have been dealt with by having a replacement delivery right away!

The food is not delicious, not made according to the requirements, and the price is also very expensive. The service attitude is also very poor, very poor, very poor. The waiters have been treating us with a bad tone, especially the red haired waiters. Whats even worse is that they ate hair inside, and I dont know what to say. Im really angry

A nice sitdown brunch spot that offers a variety of dishes. The staff are kind and attentive and the vibe is cozy, although the actual food isnt anything special or different. I got the Greek Omelette, and I really liked that there was an option to have only egg whites and also that there was a selection of sides to choose from.

Ive heard of curious george, but not ridiculous george! Youll find him here at Markham Station Richmond Hill... I ordered wings and had asked for more flats rather than drumsticks. He told me that its premixed, so he wont be able to accommodate which I understand. When my wings arrived, they were ALL drumsticks, I was shocked! But, even more shocked when he said yeah, the kitchen told me that they ran out of flats completely. So why didnt you check in with me and why did you think it was ok to serve it like that and leave? I of course returned the order and decided that I wanted to go elsewhere to grab dinner and to my surprise again, he said he would have to charge me $3 and said that I cant just expect to come in to sit and drink water for free. You have to be kidding me!

Coffee subpar. Could use a much better quality. Scrambled eggs were made from eggs from a box not fresh. All at our table commented how nasty they tasted. Ask for fresh eggs. Helen was amazing.

We ordered the super breakfast. The fries were best I had super crunchy outside and pillowy inside. The scrambled eggs were okay tad overcooked and lacked seasoning but nothing a hot sauce couldn t fix. However the French toast was rubbery and soggy and just not at all what I expected. We spent a few hours at this restaurant with our friends. The food taste was great, and the quality was the same. The service was even better, we had the privilege of getting service from George, a true professional and delight to deal with. Also since we had a birthday going on, we asked them to bring us our cake at some point, that was done exactly the way we could have asked for. Will visit again.

Awful, awful experience. Our waiter was male (I do not recall his name) and he was extremely rude. I saw him yelling at an elderly waitress. He was very insulting to our family and was making back handed comments the entire time. Please keep in mind we went for brunch for Family Day . When he brought out the eggs Benedict for my sister s meal, they were rock solid. She asked him if it was possible to get medium runny eggs because the eggs were completely hard. When he brought the meal back, everyone at our table had already finished their meal. It took so long. When we told our waiter about the long wait, he took $1.98 off of our bill for the inconvenience. Thats an insulting figure. He also did not refill the free coffee refills. I had to ask 3x for more coffee. Do not waste your money here. The staff is anything but welcoming and accommodating.

A horrible experience. It began when we walked in and saw a male waiter getting mad at another waitress for taking the bills off the table for him. He left us waiting there for 20-30 minutes without water/drinks to start. He brought all our food and my family members eggs Benedict came out rock hard. He brought the food back and only brought a new one once the rest of us were done eating. I asked him out of principle and respect to take the eggs Benedict off my family member off the receipt because she only got it once we had all finished eating. He said no at first and then said I ll ask the manager. He then only took off $2, for our troubles.

Had the pleasure of visiting Markham Station in Richmond Hill just before New Years. We were a group of 6 people. The food was very good and the portions were plenty. The best part of our evening was our server Sam. He was outstanding, I ve been to many restaurants but never received this level of service from such a young man. He was attentive but not pushy, our glasses were always full and our tables clean. He made sure that we were all satisfied and happy with our meals.
