Came here with some friends and it was my first time experiencing AYCE Brazilian streak house. There's a decent selection of appetizers and drinks on the menu. There wasn't any menu for the different type of meats that would come out to be served. The servers basically walk up to your table and tell you what kind of meat it is and serve you on the spot. I would definitely recommend the asiago mac and cheese and Brazilian cheese bread for appetizers. Most of cuts of meat that came out was moist and juicy. There were maybe like 2 of them that was kinda tough and dry. You end up eating so much meat, they kind of tastes the same and blend in together. They also serve chicken and shrimp apart from the meats. The cinnamon pineapple was so good. I had like 5 pieces. I wished they had more variety of desserts other than just the pineapple. Overall it was a fun experience and the servers were fantastic but for the price point of $100 with tax and tips in, I probably won't do it again. You also have a timed seating limit so when the place is super busy, they remind you in a nice way to leave lol.
It’s been so hard to make a call reservations coz their line is always busy or no one answering. I know I can do online reservations but I want to check what’s on the buffet table as well. And I finally able to make a reservation after calling 10 times in 2 days. The whole experience was average, our server isn’t that attentive, most of the time he was chatting with other server in the far corner… other food servers are ok, I don’t know their routine, but it doesn’t looks like all of them check in every table before they go back to kitchen. So we have to keep an eye on food we want. I’m not sure do we need to raise our hands to wave them over, but I remember it is unnecessary coz I’ve been here twice before the covid, ppl were much more attentive than this time. The overall experience is average, not really bad, but not what I expected from a steakhouse restaurant.
Everything was absolutely excellent! Their expertise is certainly the steaks and red meat as the chicken could not compare. The grilled pineapple was incredible and the overall service and atmosphere was friendly and upbeat. The dancers were phenomenal!
My friend recommended this restaurant to me, and we went there together. It was my first experience at a Brazilian restaurant. I had heard about Brazilian BBQ before, and finally, I got to try it here. The steaks were varied and very delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The dessert table and garlic bread were exceptional and complete. The ambiance is nice and calm, but the restaurant is really cold 🥶. The prices are a bit high considering it's a buffet, but it's worth it, especially if you have guests; this place is the best choice. 👍🏼 Definitely, definitely try the grilled pineapple—it’s amazing! 🤤
Thank you Mateo and everyone. Thank you to the chefs. Amazing service. Accommodating staff. We were able to get take-out and eat in the restaurant, although at the end they said they don't normally do that on weekends. Came on a Saturday. Attentive staff. They communicate well with each other. We got lucky with the seats. Maybe because we got reservations. I was surprised the food tasted so good. And the Brazilian lemonade was not a regular choice for me but the sweetness carried me through it. I was surprised I liked the chicken and sausage. Ribs were fantastic. Steak and pineapple perfect combo.
Food: 2 Stars Service: 3 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 2 Stars Overall: 2.5 Stars Touro Brazilian Steakhouse didn't quite meet the expectations I had for a high-end dining experience. I visited with the hope of enjoying a diverse and flavourful array of meats, but I was left disappointed. The salad bar was rather uninspired, offering the usual fare with nothing particularly special to set it apart. The meat selection was where my disappointment truly set in. For the $80 price point, I expected a wider variety of cuts and flavours. Instead, I found myself repeatedly offered common selections like top sirloin and steak. There were no exotic or unique options to be found, which left the meal feeling quite monotonous. It's possible that the selection is more varied on weekends, but on my visit, it was lacking. The side dishes did little to elevate the meal. They were largely forgettable, except for the seafood "stew," which was a surprising highlight with its rich and satisfying flavour. The service, on the other hand, was commendable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made an effort to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, their efforts couldn't fully compensate for the underwhelming food. In summary, while the service at Touro was warm and professional, the food did not live up to the high expectations or the price. For those seeking an authentic or memorable Brazilian steakhouse experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere. kellychan360
We were welcomed by a very friendly host. Steak selection was great and flavourful. Caesar was a great server and gave us a warm surprise for our anniversary celebration. Wide range of side dishes bar. The atmosphere is very good.
We had an exceptional dining experience at Touro Richmondhill thanks to our server, Aurora. She was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the meal, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her expertise in the menu and perfect timing made the experience even better. Aurora s friendly and professional service truly elevated our visit. Highly recommend requesting her for an outstanding dining experience!
Was there for a work party last week. . They had 2 servers for over 95 people. The same guy kept coming around d with pineapple. We had been given a piece of sausage and a chicken leg. No order, no quality or service or food. We paid top dollar for meals. It was very disappointing. And when the roasts would come out they were raw. So the servers would disappear and eventually show up. Some people ate some didn t. Never again
I took my staff for Christmas dinner We had arrived early so we had a few drinks , that were water down, We finally got seated to find out that there is a time limit., this is supposed to be a special evening, considering the costs. This is not acceptable , we started with the buffet, and waited for about 45 minutes to get the protein to arrive, I felt we were ignored . I had to ask for service crazy. I will not be going back for sure lot of great Brazilian restaurants in the city.
Wife and I have been to this and the Concorde locations. We both preferred the Richmond hill one. Food is amazing but seems like some items are repeating where as premium items seem to be limited and you can miss them if you are not aware. It is a very busy place with awesome staff... But I think every item advertised should reach your table at least once.
Came here for my Birthday on Dec 7th with my wife. Both she and I were very impressed with the level of service, energy and overall enjoyable experience we had, which was mainly due to our waiter Allen. Touro, clone him.
Everything was great, good variety of meats and other sides as well. Our waiter Caesar was very good and kept making sure we had everything we needed!
Id say overall that the food was ok. My main complaint however is with the server who was taking care of us. It took us quite some time to flag him down to actually get the bill and then after tipping he said that the minimum tipping requirement for a table of 6 was 18 percent. As individuals, we were never offered to split our bills separately and to then be reprimanded for not tipping 18 percent is wild. Tips are earned, not granted.
I visited this restaurant right when it opened at 4:30 PM, allowing me to try all the meats within the first 30 minutes. Unfortunately, while some aspects of the experience were enjoyable, others left me disappointed. Service: Waiters: 5/5 The waiters were very attentive, regularly changing dishes, refilling water, and checking if I wanted specific meats. Their effort was appreciated. Servers: 1/5 The servers were a letdown. Because I arrived for the first rotation, the initial cuts were all side pieces, which were overdone and tough. When I requested rare cuts, they still served me side pieces that lacked the tenderness and quality I was looking for. Twice, after asking for rare meat, they cut a piece, flipped the skewer, and still gave me a side cut. Out of six cuts, only two had any red, but they were still tough. After the sixth piece, I felt frustrated and done with the experience. Additionally, my table was skipped a few times, although the attentive waiters helped by letting me request missed meats though it took some time. Food Quality: Meats: The chicken was mostly moist, but the drumsticks were on the dry side. The pork ribs were also dry, though the sauce improved them. The larger steaks were generally good, but the smaller steaks (spicy, garlic, parmesan) were inconsistent. Some were perfectly medium rare, while others were well done and tough. On my first round, I cut into a few and found them completely cooked through, which was disappointing for a $100 buffet. Appetizers: I wanted to try the clam chowder, but its watery consistency was off-putting. For a filling dish, it shouldn t resemble soup water. However, the seafood marinara was excellent and highly recommended. If this weren t a $100 buffet, I would have tried the queso, as it s not something I see often. Ambiance and Atmosphere: The atmosphere was pleasant. It wasn t too loud, and the lighting was comfortable, which I personally enjoyed. Overall Experience: The waiters attentiveness and some good meat selections were highlights. However, the servers refusal to serve better cuts, the inconsistency of the meats, and the poor appetizers detracted from the experience. For the price, I expected more consistency and quality in both the service and the food. tl:dr allergic to pineapple but you have to try the pineapple my father and everyone i recommend gets it and loves it pineapple 5/5
The restaurant is beautiful, food delicious. I made the mistake of going there too soon after a big breakfast so I wasnt hungry. They come around to your table and add slice off fresh hot meat until you until your turn over your stop sign. Delicious chicken drumsticks, squewered beef, beef sirloin, smoked pork sausage and several more. Good for carnivores. Just skip the appetizer table wait for the meats. Kid-friendliness: Santa was there for the morning. Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty sure wheelchair will not have difficulty.
Meat is way overcooked. Other than the chicken. Buffet was something youd get at a cheap restaurant. Watched them pour mixed vegetables into a heat tray. Great atmosphere, but not worth the price.
The taste of the meats I tried was good, however, the variety is kinda limited compared to other Brazilian restaurants Ive gone and the salad bar is way too limited as well.
Amazing place to eat and enjoy, Everyone there is perfect and for sure cannot forget Cessar that is one of the best, all friendly and doing their best to be sure that you will enjoy the most , Thanks TOURO Food : 5/5
Went to Touro recently and was very disappointed. There is absolutely no way this place is worth the price - not even remotely close. The buffet food was all cold and or old. I was impressed with the selection at first but after plating i realized how bad things have gotten at this place. The mac n cheese had been sitting for so long it has been reduced to baaically just noodles with the impression of a sauce - which was probably alfredo to begin with. Cheap substitute and still wasnt offered properly. The cesar sauce was rancid. Sour, somewhat seperated, and nothing resembling what it should be whether home made or bougrht. The mashed potatoes were cold. I wont go through every item but clearly this area has been neglected and was not appetizing in the least. The meat that was served was ok, nothing special - their 18 different meats was kind of a false claim with so many of the meats just being the same thing with a slight alteration. Spicey steak, regular steak, cheesey steak, parmesan steak, for example. Maybe if the cooking method used was different for each it would have differentiated them a bit, but as is ita a false promise where i could just topped any of their meats with parm from the buffet and called it 19 different meats. The portions themsleves that the servers offer are pitiful. The thinnest most insubstantial cuts of meat i have ever seen. And getting more from the servers is a pain. Theyre in such a rush, and it seems like a personal offense to ask for a thicker cut or like a proper piece of meat. While the actual waiters/waitresses seem nice, theyre clearly too busy to provide a decent level of service and youll be left waiting a substantial amount of time for drinks, refills, or your bill. All in all, this place is not worth the money spent and i would not recommend it.
We went there on Tuesday for an office event. 18 people in total. And spent $1,500 before tax and service. The place was less than half full. Service was mediocre in the sense that we always had to ask for things like drinks and water. We were never offered fresh plates. What bothered me most, it was not the frozen cheesecake, no, it was the full price they charged for the 3 vegetarians in our group. On their website they advertise several vegetarian dishes we can order, but the very bright waiter, when asked what vegetarian dishes they had said salmon and pasta were available. So basically just a pasta dish that looked horrendous. $70 for a pasta dish in tomato sauce that no one ate, so bad it was. The meat selection was good enough that we all enjoyed it and no one complained. Just because we went on a slow day, our experience should not be less than perfect, or else charge us less than full price. Im getting a bit tired of restaurants cheapening out and trying to cut corners any which way they can. Overall ambiance is great, the place looks amazing and it is clean. The experience they provide is not great. And guys, DO NOT bloody serve frozen cheesecake. Better say you dont have any. Or just take it out of the freezer in the morning. Its really not rocket science.
Was able to get a table before reservation time. Our server was very accommodating to my brother who only eats chicken and seafood, and a last minute birthday notice. The food is great but it can be overwhelming the first time you go, so come hungry. Non alcoholic drinks were great. In the wintertime it can be a little cold so dress a little more warmly. Otherwise a good dining experience.
Not sure why they refuse to bring out more pineapples. It is cheap and delicious...
I have been calling to both Richmond hill and Vaughn locations. Both locations either don t answer or leave you on hold for 20 minutes at a time. I still had no luck in making a reservation. As I read other comments, it seems to be the consensus. You would think they would have done something by now since it s a common theme among the reviews. I can t speak for the food or the atmosphere since I did not even get the opportunity to. Best of luck to those who are trying to make a reservation.
Reservation for 4:45pm. Quiet, not busy, and peaceful! Wanted to have an early dinner to avoid the chaos. Had lots of options food wise since it was still early. Was not disappointed. Shoutout to Caesar who was an absolute angel!
Our waiter Caesar was fabulous!!!
Our waiter Cesar was so friendly and made sure we always had food coming. The food was yum yum yum
What a terrible ending for a night that should have been one of the happiest in a lifetime. We were celebrating our son s milestone birthday. We were a party of 12 adults and three children. We arrived for our 6:30pm reservation and enjoyed the meal but at 8:15pm, and while some of us were preparing to leave and others were in the process of finishing up their birthday cake serving, we were swarmed by two waiters who were unsmiling and just removing plates from in front of us without checking if we were done. Ten minutes later, the table was empty save for my glass of water. The waitress wanted to grab it from me. When I mentioned that I was still drinking, she admonished me by saying that other guests were waiting for the table and angrily snatched it away. The birthday boy tried to eat a few bites while standing. Please note that, had we been gently reminded at the beginning of our meal or halfway through about the time limit, we d have gulped our bites and obeyed the time restriction as we are not the type of people who impose or overstay our welcome and always like to leave a good impression, but we had no idea before the sudden angry expulsion. I did mention to the waitress that if she were kicking us out, she should at least be smiling. For what this meal cost, we could have been welcomed anywhere else and most definitely treated more pleasantly and without this unacceptable rudeness. Never again will I, or any member of my family, step there. Not that it would make any difference to them, judging from the way we were treated.
it says $74.99 for friday-sunday dinner. but does not mention during Dance Night, its $79.99 food-wise, need more diversity for the Grill, and should add some dessert like ice cream for the buffet.
I loved the place, the food is wonderful! In addition, Allens service was amazing! We will definitely come back more often
Was disappointed to see the buffet gone. Not sure if Ill be back.
First time dining at Touro and it was a great experience! Came out to celebrate my boyfriend Mike s birthday and was pleased by how thoughtful and friendly the staff were to him about his big day. The food was great with tons of options, we loved the spicy steak, Mac and cheese and of course the grilled pineapple! Very nice atmosphere and overall fun dining experience thanks to our server Cesar. We look forward to coming back.
Havent been there for a few years. Prices are highler, survice is very good, meat is good, but not the same high quality as before. Buffet has dissappeared, so the staff brings you the items from the menu. A very efficient way to save a lot of money for the restraruant, but not ideal for the customer, I think. Veriety of salads is very limited. Salad with avocado and shrimp was terribly sour, the souse was made of pure lemon juise and probably vinegar. Overall it was good but pricey. Or pricey but good, whatever you prefer.
I initially booked my reservation at 8:30pm and when they called to confirm I asked if we could get an earlier table. They were able to accommodate thankfully. Cesar was our server, he was attentive, efficient and kind. He ensured that he had everything we needed. It was our first time dining here and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The cuts of meat they offered was also delicious and they did not skimp on quality and portion. We certainly will be back and hope Cesar will be our server the next time we re back!
Ive been to several Brazilian Steak House restaurants in Toronto and Niagara area, the US and including Brazil itself. We decided to try Touro but at the end of the night, felt it was overpriced for what we got as compared to other venues of similar caliber. The cuts of meat were limited, many of them very gristly or extremely tough. I like meats where the fat is properly rendered, but this was just was not the case where we really had to pick around the bad parts. Because we were seated in at a table for 4 against the wall, the server had a tough time maneuvering with the meat skewers (despite trying to move the table out) and several times the fatty juices dripped on our clothes (which is not fun to clean afterwards). In my mind, Touro does not live up to the price or hype, and I will not recommended to others. For that price, there are far better alternatives.
Love the place. Brunch on Sundays are the highlight for me. If you re a steak lover, this is your place.
Our Waitress was phenomenal, very friendly and fast, she went out of her way to get cuts of meat brought to our table that we were looking for. Unfortunately this restaurant did not meet my expectations. I was rather disappointed in the food overall, was not worth the $75 a person. I m a medium rare kinda guy however some of the steaks were in the blue range, also most cuts were very fatty. However I will say the spicy steak, parmesan crusted and cheese steak were good. The parking in this plaza is atrocious, our reservation was for 7:45, luckily my friends managed to find spots and get in right away. Myself on the other hand, took me 25 minutes of driving around the parking lot for a spot to open. Not to mention the road raging lady in the parking lot. I don t think i would recommend or return to this restaurant until the food quality is brought up to the price point.
The ambience is great. The food is good and really tasty. I like the spicy steak and the garlic lamb the most. Please ask for Ceaser, he is such a great host and if he gets to serve your table, youll have a great experience.
Caesar made the experience of a lifetime for me and my friend. We came later into dinner service but caesar was very understanding and made sure we had an unforgettable experience! 10/10 would recommend caesar and the team here the food was outstanding worth every dollar! Will be visiting again for sure !
Touro Brazilian Steakhouse offers a delightful dining experience with an impressive variety of high quality meats and a warm, inviting atmosphere. One standout feature of the experience is the exceptional service provided by servers like Caesar, who ensure every guest feels attended to and satisfied. Caesar s attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor elevate the meal, making guests feel welcome and valued. The unlimited selection of succulent cuts, paired with a well-stocked salad bar, offers something for every palate. Whether you re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a feast, Touro delivers a memorable culinary experience.
Great place to have dinner, food was very tasty and the service was always spot on
I walked in about 2 weeks before and made a reservation in person. I asked for a certain table in the corner, because there was 9 of us which included four small kids. On the day of, we showed up and were told, by the most miserable female hostess that our table wasnt the one I had pointed to and reserved. Eventually, we got the table I had reserved. Then we got a server that began with prices per person and THE TIP (even though I didnt ask her about prices). We were there for 2 hrs and our unfriendly server (Rafaela) was allergic to smiling the entire time. In the end I asked our unfriendly server if 18% was the minimum and she pressed 18% HERSELF and handed me the machine. She really didnt deserve more than 10% because shes so unfriendly. Im giving it a 2 star because the food was ok and the servers who brought the food were nice. We will never return.
We got a take out today n I was so confused with the menu . Nikita saved the day . He was so patient and helpful, checked every detail and so kind . He made the experience wonderful! Thank you Nikita ! The food was great and a lot !
The food is not good it s either too bloody or too dry the service isn t the best and it s expensive
We went to celebrate my anniversary with family and friends, 17 people in total. The food was not what we expected. There is not a great variety of meats and the salads are not varied. You expect something reasonable for the price. Cesar served us and charged 20% tip, not 18% because we were 17 people, we agreed to leave him a little more tip. Only he took advantage and charged a double tip of 18% plus the 20% that was indicated to him. I will certainly not be returning, just be careful and double check your payment when Mr. Cesar charges you.
The decor was nice, but the atmosphere feels like being at a Brazilian steakhouse version of a pub. It was very loud in the place and hard to carry a conversation at your table without having to yell. The waiter was pleasant but often had to be reminded for things that were requested. The food was surprisingly disappointing as it was hard and chewy. Pretty much every steak was hard to cut through, and our jaws were sore trying to chew the meat. This was our first time here and sadly our last as well. We were celebrating a special occasion and wanted to try this out, but unfortunately it missed the mark. Update: I tried calling Rob, as requested but got no response. If you dont want to address it, no problem, but why waste my time further?
Special thanks to our great server , Camila Kid-friendliness: Wonderful place to celebrate my daughter s birthday Recommended dishes Brazilian Steak Bites, Grilled Pineapple, All You Can Eat Meat, BBQ Pineapple
We were a group of 13 in the private dining room on Oct 26 and had a great experience. Our server Caesar was very attentive and professional. Our meat cravings were fulfilled and it s always great to top it off with cinnamon pineapple. We would also like to thank Rob Ashe again for his hospitality.
We went for the weekend dinner. The bill came to $630 for 6 people. Food was very mediocre. The meat was not high quality. I d very much prefer a steak from The Keg. Service was extremely bad. The waitress made my brother wait 15 minutes for a coke refill. The waitress would pass by your table every 20 minutes if you are lucky. Automatically added %18 tip despite the bad service. They sat us in front of the door and refused to change our table. Overall, the experience was nothing special. I ve had much better experiences at $50 all you can eats.
The food was not good at all, we tried 7 different dishes and all were cold and not good at all totally Weiterest was good and polite but so slow I like the decoration btw Food : 1/5
They have removed the buffet, which was the system of meal service where food is placed in a public area where customers can help themselves as they please. They have now implemented a menu that has drastically reduced the meal, serving a cheaper variety of food in small pots, these are not served individually, they are meant to be shared between the people at the table, which in my opinion, left a lot to be desired and we were disappointed. The meat was tasty.
Great food but compared to previous visits, the service was slow. Lots of downtime between meat.
Excellent facilities and exquisite food, 100% recommended. Excellent facilities and exquisite food, 100% recommended
10/10 food. Attention to details. Great service.
Great atmosphere and service!
Went last night for dinner with my wife & needless to say we were highly disappointed after spending $170 & still had to reheat food when I got home. We waited 10-15 minutes for little pieces of beef to come around.. had servers ignoring us on purpose not serving us & the excuse given was we re busy also confirmed with another worker that for a Friday night it actually wasn t as busy as it usually is. Had a nice couple seated beside us with the exact same complaint! But shocker when we asked for the bill it came in one minute. Complained to our server even before the bill came about the service & she sent us more free corn bread as a sorry without even asking for it. Had servers reach over us grabbing bowls of food that still had food in it. Nothing about this place was to brag about. There s many other restaurants in the plaza. Will not be returning anytime soon. We also have the couples information that was beside us that were celebrating an engagement who left disappointed as well after they said they didn t want drinks the server stopped coming around. Absolutely terrible
TL; DR - Carnivores delight! Live dancing and music on weekend. Parking is still awful. Lost count of how long this restaurant has been open but Ive been coming on and off (typically for celebrations) over the years. This time was much better than I remembered! Nice selection of meats (primarily different cuts of beef) and they were all cooked and seasoned perfectly! Before, I did remember some were overcooked and bland but this night, they nailed everything. I even tried the chicken and it was surprisingly juicy. Service was also impeccable, from the initial server to the timing of the meats coming out. Everything flowed at a good pace. Atmosphere is lively with the dancing routines but could be a bit loud depending where youre seated. Dont come if youre looking for a quiet dinner! Good luck with parking if youre coming during peak dining hours - simply not enough with the abundance of restaurants.
Very good. Quality and pace. Sometimes slow.
Came in last weekend on Saturday for dinner, party of 7. Service was really poor this time around. Server kept coming around asking us if we d like any drinks, meanwhile he hadn t even brought the previous drinks ordered. Bar was understaffed, just 1 person working, yet every 5minutes the server would ask us if we need any other drinks (bring the ones we ordered first please before asking if we need more ) Food on rotation was limited to the approx the same 6 meats/sausage, we had to inquire twice as to when pineapple or chicken or shrimp would eventually come. After asking multiple times the pineapple and chicken came. Shrimp never came. Variety was very limited. Surprising for a menu price of $75 a person. Appetizers took forever to come. Not sure why they got rid of the salad bar. And at the time of payment, the server pointed at the bottom of the bill (where it says what the dollar figure amount would come out to for different tip percentages) and he points at the 18% tip and says to us, this is the expected minimum for a group of your size . I ve never had a waiter tell me what my expected minimum tip is supposed to me. And the audacity to say such a thing when his service was so poor. I tipped because I do so regardless. I don t need you to tell me what my expected minimum tip is. What he should expect is to provide better service. Shame, I actually used to like this place. Won t be coming back if this is what it has turned into.
Super Nice Food and Great Staff
Best place to take the family to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Come dressy casual for a gal or guys night and leave FULL!-Y satisfied :) Dietary restrictions: It s a STEAK house -sorry vegetarians!! Parking: It s a busy parking lot - but you always find a spot. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for the kids and they get excited when the Swords come out!! Wheelchair accessibility: even grandpa was wheeled up to the table..EXTREMELY accommodating.
Great atmosphere, top notch customer service and delicious food.
I love this place
It feels inferior to Ushibei. If you must spend $100, my suggestion is to eat two meals of Gyubei.
Some meats were overly salty, overall a great restaurant and a must try. Make sure to try the cinnamon grilled pineapples.
By far the best experience Ive ever had at a Brazilian Steakhouse. Top Notch food and service!
We were served by Ceaser and he provided the best service weve gotten in a really long time. Such an accommodating and hard working person.
Came for our anniversary, we made a reservation for Sunday brunch. The restaurant was half empty. We were walked over to the tiniest table in the centre of the dining floor. We asked to be moved to any of the tables that were available off to the side. The host said no. Told us we can come back in 3 hours for dinner. We drove all the way down from Barrie, as we used to celebrate all big occasions at touro. This was very off putting so we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Took us an hour to drive down. Very upsetting. Hopefully the owner reads this. Thanks for the memorable experience.
I recently visited a steakhouse with a friend, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The service was subpar, the food was not up to standard, and there was no salad bar available. To make matters worse, we were charged more than we usually pay I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
First off, thanks to Aurora for the fabulous service! She did a terrific job at being my dad and Is waiter for the evening. We taught her a few things with wine and gave her some wisdom (at least my dad did). You can tell she has a great heart! Keep it up Aurora, youll do great in the future with that positive attitude! Aurora Borealis is the nickname Ill give ya! Now onto the food portion of the review. This place might not have the selection of meats like Copacabana, but where they lack in quantity they make up with quality. Now, I love red meat as much as the next person who aint vegetarian, but there were a few cuts that werent exactly to my dads liking, although hes got really high standards. I loved every bite of the meat I was given. Everything was juicy, tender, and just tons of foodgasm that I hope to one day Ill go back for more. The things I didnt quite enjoy, and maybe its because it was mixed with the other seafood was the mussels, shrimp, and fish dish. Im a huge enjoyed of mussels guy, but the flavor was unfortunately taken away from the other seafood. I couldnt recommend that as a side to anyone unfortunately until they make them separate. Also, if theres one thing that Copacabana beats Touro at, its definitely the corn bread. Not to say it wasnt tasty, but it was incredibly sweet and too soft... Like eating wonderbread in corn form. Maybe the syrup they added made it that way? Couldnt tell you, I just didnt bother asking for more. Overall, despite the side dishes being somewhat not up to par, youre there for the meat! It was fantastic! I enjoy my fatty pieces, I enjoy meat all together. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was nice! Ill gladly come back for another round sometime. Thanks again to Aurora Borealis for being top tier server!
Best Brazilian steakhouse in the city. Highly recommended to all beef and steak lovers. Great food and good value
Good food average service
Special thanks to Kelsey and all the servers and staff. We had a great reunion with old friends accompanied by a fantastic meal. Cheers!
Cant get through to make dinner plan keep being kicked to answering machine
I organized dinner for a group of 35 at Touro for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They made it so simple, accommodated our plating wishes, fixed menu, seating plan and even accessibility needs. We had a semi-private space and dedicated staff. Everyone had a great time. I d recommend it anyone looking to do the same. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Our vegetarian guests had the pasta and salmon, and loved them. They did not feel they lacked anything from the over the top menu at all. Kid-friendliness: They were so accommodating with special seating for kids and gave us discounted rates on their all-you-can eat option. Also they let the kids sit and watch tv when our dinner ran long. They were so sweet to everyone, children especially.
We used to be a regular visitors for years. Not anymore. Usually dined in, 4-6 people. Three weeks ago (29th if Sep) we ordered take out, family experience for 8 people as we celebrated a birthday at home. I ordered over the phone, my dad picked it up. At home we noticed a few missing dishes- mushrooma and two orders of fries. I tried to call several times, but no one answered. I left a voice mail. Day after I emailed also, and tried to call again. Still no answer. Tried to call every day, left another voicemail, nothing. Only after sending an email to Vaughan location, I got a response from Richmond hill location (Oct 3rd): My apologies for the delayed response. It does take our team about 2-5 business days to get back to emails. I m really sorry to hear about your experience. That s definitely not the service we aim to provide. I understand how frustrating it is to be missing items from your order, especially when you couldn t get in touch with us. Ive escalated the issue to our General Manager and he will get back to you soon. I do want to ensure you get your refund as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience. Its the 19th today. 16 days to process my request as quickly as possible. Never experienced such a bad service. Its not even about the money anymore, we usually left 600-700$ in that restaurant. Its the very poor management.
Food is nothing special. Meat cuts are not great and not tender at all and not worth it at this price point. Service was great. Overall, the experience didnt live up to the massive $400 bill for two adults and two kids!
Thanks to Camilla, she s very accommodating and friendly, always smiling and suggest really nice food. Thank you Camilla!!!!
Vanessa our server was great and very friendly!
They dont have a lot of food options, maybe only 6/7 to choose from, including chicken leg and sausage. Would not recommend their brunch. No seafood, no lamb, not much to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised by the grilled pineapple though.
Some pros and cons as with every restaurant CONS 1) The chicken was dryer than the desert. I basically had barbecue sauce with a side of chicken. 2) picanha was a little too raw. It was cooked basically blue, not medium rare. PROS 1) meat quality was very good for picanha and sausage and ribs 2) grilled pineapple in grilled then sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon (so unique and tasty) 3) the homemade cheese bread was delicious Overall good but was quite expensive for not a lot of variety
Too good tbh
Wonderful staff and great food. Will be back!
Different kinds of meat were brought to the table continuously and those were delicious. I like the Brazilian style meat as well as the concept!
Was a little disappointed by the food quality here. The beef/steak was just ok and considering the price was pretty poor cuts. They tryed to make it better by adding cheese and other things to make the meat better but just give me some quality and you wouldnt need all that. Also maybe this is just me but everything was super welldone and almost burnt. I get that most people dont actually like red meet so you have to apeal to customers but if youre going to charge 80 for ayce red meat the it should be red sometimes. They only had one medium rare piece once in a two hour sitting. Staff were very friendly and curtious.
Its an ok restaurant, lacks variety of meat to be called a Brazilian steakhouse, simple stuff like chicken hearts they didnt have. Even sausages theres was only one type, that I was not familiar to for a typical Brazilian steakhouse, other than that, the different buffet options and salad were good, funny part is not Brazilian song played for the whole time I was there, more like a Spanish latin vibe with reggaeton and bachata, still cool but not what I expected for a Brazilian place. If you like picanha with almost no fat and alcatra (top sirloin), its alright, you can eat until explode and service was really friendly. Steak with cheese and garlic were good too, I missed some cupim, maminha, contrafilé and ribs.
Too expensive for the quality. Meat is fatty unless you ask for tender Sirloin.. Wouldnt recommend it.
Cesar is the best ever! He totally made our dinner an unforgettable experience tonight. He made sure all of our requests were met with significant speed and friendliness. You cannot go wrong having him as your server. Delicious food but true to Brazilian culture, Cesar makes you feel welcomed like family. Thank you Cesar for all the fresh pao de quejo and all the corn bread.
I had a fantastic experience at Touro Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant in Richmond Hill. The food was incredibly delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert everything was excellent. However, what truly made our visit special was the exceptional service from César, a Colombian waiter. His kindness, professionalism, and knowledge of the menu made the experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, this is a place I will return to and recommend. Thank you, César, for your outstanding service!
Theres a reason this is the highest rated Brazilian Steak House - the service, the food, the atmosphere - PURE. PERFECTION. (Also, our server, Caesar, deserves a *raise*. ) Food
great food, friendly service, fair prices. we drove all the way from bowmanville to go. also cesar was a great host
10/10 food 10/10 food quality 10/10 service 9/10 price because of the amazing quality of meat 10/10 experience, washrooms were very clean the place was clean the enviroment was great and overall the vibe was great as well
The picanha and top sirloin was not as good as I remember. I went for my birthday again to celebrate with friends but I was a bit disappointed. The other meats were great but also no chicken hearts. For the price I probably won t go back and rather wait to go to Brazil
It is all you can eat steakhouse resurant with friendly staff.
Arora was our server, she was great as was the rest of the service staff. We ve been to other Brazilian steakhouse places in the GTA and comparably the food was better at those other places. A lot of the cuts here were very tough and under seasoned. The buffet / salad bar was lack lustre. We described it as a casino buffet version of Brazilian steakhouse. The atmosphere going in felt right at first, upscale, elevated, but people in tshirts and sweat pants? Overall ok .
The service was great - sometimes you will wait long times for them to get to you, but overall it s a good experience. *** Grilled pineapple is a must!
Touro *Brazilian* steakhouse.... Well, as a Brazilian born and raised, I didnt like the food. It didnt taste like Brazilian food. We paid a lot for average food. The restaurant is beautiful, the waiter was very kind, but the food is average. Sorry
A BBQ meat extravaganza! Very nice ambience and great service. A private room option makes for an intimate setting. Would recommend. Went for a business dinner and the service was excellent. They kept our drinks flowing and the delicious food coming. Very well decorated and clean space. Plenty of parking and a convenient location.
Hello, The food was okay. But It was my fiancés birthday, and I wanted it to be a surprise. However, the server came over and said, So, its your birthday,The cake is free, and Ill bring it after your food.I found it a bit embarrassing. And don t sit in the corner because when they serve the meat, they won t see you.
Food is good with a lot of variety and good atmosphere. Service is decent. We have a family with healthy appetities and every time we go lthere they stop bring food by our table after a few rounds despite it being all you can eat. It use to bug us but ee now expect it amd when it happens we walk up to the waiters to ask them to please come over.
Beautiful inside, delicious food, skilled and attentive stuff, nice and clean washrooms - everything I require from a good restaurant
Showed up at 855pm and was told they aren t taking any more walk in s at 845. Kinda nuts that I was ready to spend 200$ on a dinner and was denied. We went to shinta 2 minutes away with wagu beer and other cuts felt better coming here. I ll go here from now
Brunch buffet served with various type of Brazilian Steak BBQ. Nice dining experience for a change !
This was a rather disappointing experience. Our server was very nice and capable. For the salad bar, as others have mentioned, was lacklustre. There were zero sneeze guards on the cold items. The warm items (aside from the beans and rice) didn t seem very authentic: Cream of Mushroom soup, fried rice, beef chili, lasagna. The meat service started out strong. But, after a few rounds the service all but stopped. It seemed like about 20+min elapsed before there was another visit to our table. Variety-wise, we were offered: sirloin Chicken drums Garlic steak Spicy beef Parmesan beef Beef studded with cheese Lamb Pineapple For the cost (+$200 plus tax and tip for 2 adults and 2 children) I would have expected much more and had anticipated to over-indulge. This was NOT and all you can eat. Do not recommend and will not revisit.
Better than any other Brazilian steak house in Toronto. Clean, affordable, great service.
Highly recommend cheese bread!
Food was okay, but the customer service was not the best. The brown boy that was bringing our cutlery to the table was rude and disrespectful, and I could tell he didn t want to be there with his tone and body language. Please, service with a smile next time!
Good food, different experience
Amazing food and service. The Buffet is impressive, and the meat was so juicy, tender, and flavourful! Highly recommend.
Terribly underwhelming experience overall. Atmosphere is way off and does not represent fine dining in any way. Buffet items were left out way too long and were soggy. The steak served was average. The service was terrible - it was like they had no training whatsoever on dining experiences. I went with my partner, we each got one drink and it cost $230. Not at all worth the cost. Go to the keg instead and get one good steak and good service - far more worth it.
Place must go! They server meat on a skewer, AAA steak, comes juicy and hot . Buffet is great. Service is great. Thank you for the experience.
Went today for dinner with my wife and my two grownups. First time there and definitely wouldn t be the last! Great experience in terms of everything, excellent food, first class service quality and very pleasant atmosphere; frequency of the meat coming to the table was just about right; salad bar is super rich and very tasty; BIG thank you Touro Richmond Hill staff team!!
Cesar Is very good waiter
Been here a couple times and it just keeps getting better. The best place to go for meat. And more meat. Even the salad bar is top notch This last time we had a large party of 37 we had 2 of the best servers you will ever get. Cesar and his partner were amazing. Above and beyond. Nobody waited for anything. Everyone left full and happy. Many of our friends have never tried a Brazilian steak house. They are already booking there next visits. Lol. Will happily return to this location.
I was a first-time customer last week and went there as a guest of a business associate. If you like barbecue this is an excellent venue! Staff was courteous and the food was delicious - I will be back!
Celebrated my wifes birthday here and I love the ambienece and the steaks.
Best steak house
The best place to eat meat is Touro. Definitely a spot for any occasion, especially special ones. Ive been there a couple of times already and will keep coming back for sure!
Had an amazing time with the girlfriend here I believe Caesar was our server. Place looked great really clean and the design was mint. The food was even better I didn t eat anything I didn t like and I tried everything. Can honestly say this is much better than Copa AND Braza and the service was much better as well. I will be returning, it was overall a great experience and stayed true to a fine dining with all you can eat experience.
Decent place but not many choices of meats.
Nice place . Can get better on the buffet.
The meat was delicious and staff super friendly.
Nice variety of cuts and amazing staff, as well as an excellent service.
Food/meats were excellent
Love it everytime we go there.
The spicy meat is fantastic and high quality and the salad bar has a variety of options
5 star all around, what a great experience! Our server Matteo (not sure of the spelling) was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be returning. Food
Food was great as usual, we have been coming here often, although this time around we got poor service! Our server was Aurora and forgot multiple items to our table, refills, she would take our cups away and ask if we wanted refills to which we said yes and then kept forgetting to bring our refills and we were fine with that because things happened and people get busy. At the beginning of the experience she asked what was the occasion today to which we said our wedding anniversary and she mentioned she would bring a dessert for us. At the end of our experience she just brought our bill and forgot everything she had mentioned before, then again its okay because things happen. When we left i mentioned it to the girl at the desk about our experience and she forcedly apologized and was very hostile, basically blaming us for not putting special notes on our reservation. This was just disappointing
It surly was 5 star but I put 4 becuase close to the end of dinner the dancers came out they were amazing but when they were taking photos we tried to ask if we could get a photo but the manager only said there going to come back out again. We ended up waiting 2 more hours and by the time we left it was 12:30 of course being the 3 oldest and my cousin being the youngest at 4 she was upset. The service was okay but we had to move tables just for the dancers that didn t use the area we had to move. The 14,12,10 and 5 meat didn t even come to the table Overall the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively.
Always love coming here for celebrations! Ethan is a fantastic server!
Unlimited meat, how bad can it be? The various cuts of meat are good, well prepared, and cooked. Surprisingly, good salad bar
It is a shame you can give this only 5 stars as they deserve much more ! The food is amazing, but the service? OMG. Our server was the best- Masrul. Such a good service I haven t had for years. Everything was perfect, on time or before, with a smile- amazing !!! Food : 5/5
Beautiful spanish music playing, cesar single handedly puts copa cabana service to shame, what an amazing restaurant, with great exemplar service, would come here for any occasion! Im blown out of my mind
High quality buffet and steaks. All the food seems healthy and fresh. Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible. Food : 5/5 |
I was there for a birthday celebration. Overpriced. I have been to many restaurants who serve good quality of food and charge you very little comparing to this restaurant. Looks nice and fancy but the food is not good. For example steaks were chewy and dry. Paid over $160 for 2 and no alcohol. I went to Hibachi next to Fairview Mall with family and we paid only $200 for group of 4 people. Menu included steaks, chicken, seafood, fried rice , miso soup, salad plus the chef cooking in front of you with a fantastic show. They also have some promotion except Saturdays. You should go there for birthday celebrations.
Always love Touro good food very friendly staff ! They change up the side a bit but still very good.
I am trying a carnivore diet - a pretty good place for it. Salad bar, was not much of my interest, but I noticed that Fogo de Chao provides a wider options. However, here there were more hot dishes available. Service was excellent. And the meats were very good. I even stepped aside a tried a grilled pineapple - delicious must try it.
Spicy steak was great.
What an experience!! The food was complimented most by our server Caesar. He was fantastic. Thank you Caesar for making the experience that much better
We had dinner for four. The salad bar was very and fresh. The steak was excellent. The sides were good and the desert was only ok (though the cooked pineapple was by far the highlight). Our server was Cesar who did an excellent job, checking on us constantly. He also made sure we had our choice of meat brought to the table which was appreciated near the end since we did not want to miss anything.
Im giving it 2 stars because my friend and I got food poisoning here. We think it might be the deep fried banana(?) they gave us as appetizers, cuz we were the only ones who had them from our table of 5. BUT aside from that, food tasted great and service was good too. Experience it left us with was less than desirable.
Meat is decent. Sides are ok. Our server was good. We were there an hour and saw some of the same meats multiple times and others we didnt see at all. What I didnt like was the additional charge for entertainment. They had the dancers that work their way around the restaurant. But the acrobats were in the middle, and we were seated behind a large wall. It would be like going to see a live performance and your seats being just outside the theater. We could hear the music and the applause, but we couldnt see anything. Its not a huge deal since we were there for the food. But the additional charge seemed a little strange. The parking situation at the Richmond Hill location is awful. It took 20 minutes to find a spot, and we were parked far away. Again, its not a huge deal, but we were late for our reservation, even though we were outside early.
A good place. The price and quality correspond. All liked it. I recommend it to meat and wine lovers.
Had my 30th birthday celebration here with friends and was amazing!!
Very nice service and great food. Overall 5 star.
Awesome experience! Came for a birthday dinner and Caesar was our server. He immediately made us comfortable, learned our names, and continually checked up on us to make sure our food and experience was great. He can sing a hell of a happy birthday as well! Food tasted great and service was fast. Overall, awesome experience!
Fast seating. Really good food. Super service from Caesar. Such a cool place. Huge open space - the restaurant is so spacious. Lots of Birthday there tonight. Why not.. They just keep coming with food! Yum!
Outstanding! The food, the entertainment and the vibe were great. Would definitely go back
Went with the wife to celebrate our anniversary. Place has a great, upbeat vibe. The food was fantastic, and the service was great. I was debating between here or copacabana. If youre on the fence like I was, I would give the slight edge to Touro. Especially for the additional side options if thats something thats important to you.
I love meat and this place has such delicious meat selections. The crab salad was soo good!! Highly recommended.
Food is overly salty. Im thinking they do it on purpose so youll fill up on water and eat less steak. But for $275 for two people to eat, it was not worth the money.
Great quality of food Great atmosphere to dine in Our server Ceasar was phenomenal Drinks refilled. Plates always changed / replaced with new ones. Great service. And professional
3rd time here and I cant wait to come back again!
A great way to get some awesome steak. However for the price tag I would expect more attention to the ambiance. Went on a Friday night, arrived at 7pm, maybe a little early, but considering that the last seating is 8:30, its not like we were there as early birds. However the restaurant was surprisingly brightly lit, with a main seating area that was wide open, not very intimate. The buffet area felt strangely cafeteria like. The service was strong and everyone was very polite and helpful, except that our red light green light coasters were not given to us immediately so it took a little longer for the table service steaks to start for us. On the topic of the coasters, they are cardboard coasters just like the beer coasters you get at the bar. Its clear the coasters are reused as one of ours was starting to peel in multiple areas. The steak was delicious though. All in its a great novelty restaurant, however the price tag is a luxury tag, but the atmosphere just doesnt deliver. It could greatly benefit from more strategic lighting and a seating design that created more intimacy for the diners. Fit and finish needs help too. Parking: Restaurant is centered in restaurant plaza. A big parking lot in the center is huge when not during dining hours, but absolutely jammed on a Friday night.
Great food and even better service! Came here for a mothers day dinner and Cesar provided amazing service, took good care of us. Well be back!
The food is served buffet-style, offering a wide variety of options. The quality and ambiance are excellent, although the price is slightly on the higher side. Parking is convenient.
Its gotten fair better than it used to be.
Heads-up, absolutely NO parking anywhere during the weekend. The restaurant itself was nice and spacious! The buffet bar wasnt as big as the other all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse house, but it did have some good options. I found that majority of it was cold salads and toppings for a salad...1 option for soup (cream of mushroom) which I wasnt a fan of... The servers that walks around with the meat came by every so often even when our circle tag thing was placed to signal we didnt want anymore. Our serve was great, I completely forgot her name but she had big puffy hair with a great big smile!
Visited this Richmond Hill location today for lunch. Right away, the server was incredible! I wish I remembered his name because he did an outstanding job taking care of our large group (name started with a V). We were there in a private room for lunch. There were about 16 people present including elderly people and babies. The server who was a very handsome young brown man was attentive, patient, kind and efficient. There were 4 different types of steak offered, plus a pork sausage, chicken legs, and grilled pineapple (which was the most heavenly delicious dessert). The buffet offered lots of breakfast items, lots of salads, a butternut squash soup, rice and a few other things. It was a good dining experience however the wait times between the different meats being served ranged from 5 minutes to sometimes 15 minutes. The restaurant sets a 1.5 hour limit so it would have been helpful if the meat was served more frequently. There were individual washrooms which were clean. There was a lot of free parking. Dietary restrictions: I mentioned right away that I was not able to consume gluten, dairy or soy and the wonderful server told me what I should eat and what I should stay away from. I was able to eat a lot of different dishes and meat despite my dietary restrictions.
Last time been here dated back to 10 years ago. Still nice food and excellent service as always.
This Brazilian steakhouse fell short of expectations. The salad bar was ordinary, and the meat selection lacked variety and flavor, featuring mainly common cuts with no exotic options. Perhaps there is more variety on the weekend but for $80, more than just top sirloin and chicken drumsticks should be expected. Sides were equally unremarkable, however the seafood stew stood out. While service was friendly, the disappointing food overshadowed their efforts. I wouldnt recommend Touro for those seeking an authentic or memorable Brazilian steakhouse experience.
This was truly an amazing experience. A vast selection of quality dishes served with a variety of freshly grilled meats each meat was mouthwatering and grilled to perfection. Everyone must go here to experience some of the highest quality service I have had yet. You get what you pay for and the food is well worth the price of admission.
