Ok so queens is THE BEST JAMAICAN spot in the city, hands down. The atmosphere is chill and sometimes there’s a little wait but it’s worth it. Some people say the have roaches but I have never seen a roach there, if so I would’ve told you so. Now, the people behind the counter is good to me but I can see they have attitudes with some other people or just “not enthusiastic” if you will. But overall Queens is amazing. They have a few tables to eat from if you don’t wanna go home and eat but I don’t think anyone wants to eat in there. One more thing, PORTION SIZE IS A1!!
Im here in Richmond for a job I've been on the road for a month....all I wanted was some good food to eat! Queens was recommended so before headed back to the hotel I stopped there spent 30$ got the stewed chicken and oxtail combo! The oxtail and chicken was seasoned really well very flavorful!! But they both were very dry I was disappointed in that didn't like it at all had to force myself to eat it because I paid 30$ and was at the hotel already! The cabbage rice and peas were good!
One-star for the young lady working the front. She was very pleasant when taking the order and when I returned the food. One-star for the food being ready promptly considering the amount of food ordered. However, I was unable to enjoy my food due to the hair found in it🤢! They were unable to replace it, so I was issued a refund. Everything needed more sauce: the curry, oxtail, stew, and pepper steak. The beef patty was not meaty at all. I spent about $90, and it wasn't worth it. The probability of my returning is zero.
Went there on my lunch break, let's just say my belly full and I want a nap now lol Food was great 👍🏾
This was my first experience at Queen's. As the other reviews mention, don't bother calling about anything because they don't answer the phone. If they answered the phone, I would have known before I drove 20 minutes that they were out of plantain, and mac and cheese, and rum cake. But, hey, not the end of the world. The flavor of my rice and beans was very good, and the cabbage was on point. The flavor of the brown stew chicken was very good too. However, I have eaten Jamaican food all over the US and in Jamaica, and I have never ever gotten brown stew chicken that was just dry pieces of chicken on rice with NO GRAVY. I mean, there was not a drop of gravy on that chicken and rice! I was stunned! Good thing it was flavorful. The beef patties were mediocre. And the biggest fail was that after they didn't have rum cake, I settled on chocolate...then the girl forgot it!!! I live 20 minutes away, and had stopped at the store before I got home and discovered it was missing. I would have called to tell them and ask them to credit me, but- that's right, they don't answer the phone.
IF you want some of these best Jamaica food in town Queen is the spot.... Take my advice get there early or call ahead... And the staff are Nice and please don't forget to Tip the food is worth it.... I'm sorry I had the curry chicken with rice and cabbage, and the wife had Jerk chicken with rice and cabbage and we ordered cornbread and the carrots 🍰 cake....Uuummmmmuuuummmmmgooodd.😊😊
I am not a fan sadly and will be returning to my usual Jamaican spot. All of the food is just so dry..the beef patty, rice, chicken, cabbage. It’s just not giving what it needed too. I truly have never had such a dry and tasteless beef patty until going here. Portions are not that great in size. I ordered the large in the photo. However, the rice and beans are really good and flavorful. That’s the only thing with flavor.
The food was excellent, I'm very picky about where I eat at. I'm bajan and a friend said the food here was really good. So since I was in Richmond for some shopping with my daughterand granddaughter, we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. My granddaughter got a side of mac and cheese and I tasted it. It was so good and so was my curry goat dinner. My daughter loved her food and my granddaughter. I will be stopping here again when I'm in Richmond. Spicy and delicious and plenty of food
Waited over a hour for a order i placed online and was only given a lemonade as compensation.
Well be back!
Real good food no doubt
I bought rice and pease and jerk chicken which is my favorite the jerk chicken is very spicy its only dark meat that they serve in jerk chicken and if the jerk chicken is spicy enough for you or you want to put some spice on your rice it comes with a small cup.of hot sauce Parking: There is a wide parking lot in front of the building and its never full
Never answer the phone always a long wait
Love the food, and the atmosphere reminds me of home in Jamaica.
Long too long, food is great, service is slow.
The food have been busing for years
The place was packed. I waited around 20 minutes for my food. I got the curry chicken and white rice. Tasty but spicy.
Ordered curry chicken and cabbage and 2 pepper steaks with rice and cabbage. Cabbage was too hard. My friend didnt care for her pepper steak meal that day. Guess Thursday was a hit or miss day
The seafood soup served on Fridays is very delicious. Moderately priced.
Great food , great people and customer service
I love it here. Food is always good and made to order. The service is great. And it always brings the pretty females out .
Ate here one time never to return
Would give them a 5 star if they had good jerk chicken
Idk what s been going on but Queens need to do better . I had hair in my food , no one wears a hair net and no one answers the phone I will not be coming back
I have lived in Richmond since 2018 and this is my first time eating here. I ordered a small oxtail rice and cabbage. I paid $17. The oxtail flavor was ok however it was dry. I kept on biting into cloves! I could not and did not enjoy my meal. I have never had a bad Jamaican food experience. I have only heard good things about this place. However my experience was not as good as a I thought it would be.
Love the mini curry chicken!! But nothing mini about it!! Great portion size and delicious
I normally love queens. Ive been going there for many years, but yesterday I ordered a medium stew with cabbage only and I received only two wings. This is a much as you get in a kids meal.
Don t bother calling to place your order or to complain about your order! You can look through the reviews as well as the nonchalant responses that are being given from management in response to the complaints & clearly tell how bad the service sucks. Sad to say that on top of the poor service some days the food is a hit & some days it s a miss! Im surprised business hasn t slowed down here I m not sure what going on in the kitchen but they need to get it together or close until they can provide a consistent cook that doesn t change the recipes and better service! I use to eat here multiple times a week until I got tired of wasting my money, my time & my gas driving across town 30 minutes to get food here. I would recommend that you don t spend much . Try a kids meal just to see if the cook is cooking right that day! Some days the curry is spicy. Some days it s not & some days it taste totally different than normal. Brown stew chicken no gravy & extremely dry. Rice over cooked often as well. Only think that taste the same every time is the lemonade nbs There is no customer service really & no remorse if u spend your money & disappointed with your experience here.
I have ALWAYS LOVED QUEENS!!! But today I feel like they changed cooks and I was disappointed!! Never EVER have I been sad about my food from the BEST JAMAICAN SPOT IN RVA!
Excellent food. I use to go to another Jamaican restaurant Carena s, on Midlothian, but I hated their customer service. This is the only Jamaican restaurant that I go to.
The food is good but the service is horrible
Curry chicken spicy as hell couldnt enjoy it to hot
My go to spot for curry chicken, rice, cabbage with extra gravy.
I had the curry goat with extra gravy with peas and rice , cabbage. The goat was tender and flavorful. The cabbage, rice, and peas cooked to perfection. The side of fried chicken I give a 6 out of 10 . The chicken was dry and the need to use a different batter for the crunch . The sauce it came with was great and the only reason why I able to finish the chicken . The wait was not long for the food and I like the Jamaican grocery store vibes !
Are use this company many times before very reliable I definitely recommend
We got robbed. Ordered a large oxtail thinking it was going to be a lot of food. Barley any meat! $18 for a large and there was very little meat. I basically paid for rice and cabbage. I noticed everyone was ordering kids meals. I thought I was doing something by ordering a large and contributing to a small business. I spent $51 altogether. I was robbed. Only reason I gave two stars is because the oxtails are seasoned well, or else I would have given 1 star. I m happy to support local business but if I m a spend big money I want what I paid for. You have to wait a long time for the food, however If I had received a large portion of food I m happy to wait for quality I would have given 5 stars.
Great food but long wait
I ordered a large oxtail and a mini curry chicken. I was disappointed to see that there were only four (4) pieces of oxtail. So, two (2) come with a regular? Not cool. Please do better.
Food was cold and over cooked. When you get to big the taste go down hill.. Never will eat there again
Is there a good phone number no one answers
Good food. Everything else needs help.
I am born and raised from the island and this food was soooooo disappointed. Ive been wanting my oxtails for a while now. Just nasty no flavor on the oxtail also it was tuff, the rice was dry. No flavor at all. I will never go or send anyone there. Queens need some help bad and a better cook. Also called in my order and got there and still had to wait 30 minutes for my food.
Food is amazing
The food is decent here . I am born and raised in Brooklyn New York . If you are seeking a place where the staff are super friendly , bubbly and not rude and bomb Jamaican food , go to Hungary eyes in henrico . Dumb good !
I had to stop going because the staff has such a nasty attitude. We dont deserve that after waiting and waiting to put in an order and for the food. Never again will I patronize such a nasty energetic place. Yall got an entitlement attitude. If you hate people that much then shut it down.
The food was horrendous. To call yourself Queens Queens NY they should be ashamed. It s a small run down place with barely anything and disgusting food. The place was filthy. I won t recommend this place.
Firstly, I love Carenas, but my brother loves Queens. I tried it since he was treating. We both had the curry chicken. Now it was good and flavorful but toooooo spicy after three forkfuls I gave up. My brother ate his but was sweating and said, Whew, it opens the sinuses. Lmbo. Otherwise, I couldve eaten it, but spicy spicy isnt my thing. Its definitely worth a try, but not a sit-down spot more. Grab and go eatery. Ooh I did love the huge sliced carrots in this dish.
The food is not good wont be going back must be under new management worse food ever bring back old management please
very dirty and dusty, do not eat here you may get food poisoning
Its always an pleasure
This was my first and last visit to Queens Jamaican restaurant. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET!!! Ive never, ever had oxtails that were just fat and bone (not one piece of meat), but thats what I received from Queens Jamaican restaurant. The rice and cabbage had no seasoning.
food is really good and hot will go again real soon and tell all I know to try them
The food is good but I do like how they NEVER answer the phone. I drove 30 minutes and wanted to place my order over the phone so I can get it before they close and they were not answering. When I got there Thursday at 7:20pm the lady said they were not taking order.. Don t put two different number on google if you guys don t answer calls so people can place order ahead of time ..
I would have visited again but the lady at the REGISTER IS WICKED AND NASTY CUSTOMER service. Why support a nasty service???? Also give a time of how long the food is going to be. I waited 30 min with no expectations given. Jeez
Food is always good no complaints.
I got there at open, the line was from the counter to the door. Probably took 10 minutes
I m still craving some queen curry chicken.
Went there the other day got 2 lg oxtail dinners corn bread 43 dollars and change got home oxtails bone and grissel not a spoon full of meat very dissatisfied will not go back for oxtails again
The rice was like sticky rice It was horrible
Love their mini curry chicken and the mini size is a nice portion!
Oxtails are delicious!
Best oxtails in town
Food always good
Foods good. But they never answer the phone
service would be MUCH better if they answered the phone. i can t tell you how many times i drove 25 minutes just so they can tell me when im about to order that they dont have what i want.. ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!!!
Great authentic Jamaican food
First I would like to say if there was any zero stars I would give this place it. I do not know if it s a VA thing, but as soon as u walk in u can smell the mildew in the air. And after eating at a Jamaican spot close to FT LEE I was under the assumption that was the standard, but that spot food was amazing. So I walked into this Jamaican spot like yah its going to be good. But I was wrong food was expansive and really dry. You cant tell me a Jamaican is actually back there cooking. The oxtail was so disgusting and unseasoned I was really disappointed. I really think only Americans that have never eaten Jamaican food would like it. I will not eat there anymore and if u want to go home and be disappointed eat there.
I have not gone to Queens Restaurant in about 2 years. Reason being I live way across the other side of town near Highland Springs. So I had to travel pretty far to get there. I was surprised there wasn t a long line. Before when I ve gone to Queens the line would be out the door. And now I see why. I spent about 65 dollars on 3 Curry Chicken meals, Fried Chicken meal, 4 pieces of corn bread, banana bread, a 2 liter kola, 2 tropical rhythms and a large lemonade. I was hoping the food would be great. I was wrong. The Curry chicken was dry with little to no curry sauce. The fried chicken was also hard and dry. The rice and peas was especially dry as if they had cooked it 3 days ago. The cabbage was the only thing that was just okay . Of course my family forced themselves to eat their food since we spent so much we didn t want to waste our money. My boyfriend agreed that the food was less appetizing than usual. Guess I will have to find another Caribbean restaurant :(
This place is a hit or miss. But today was definitely a miss. I ordered curry chicken n oxtails. The curry chicken was not good!!! Very bland n looks and taste like they added water to the curry to stretch it out. Doesn t even look like curry!! I didn t even taste the oxtails kinda afraid to. Very disappointed. U go n wait 20 mins in line then another 20 mins for the food. Customer service always suck. Then pay a lot for food that s not good. Not coming back! This is the last straw.
First time ever going here, and at the counter while I was waiting for the lady to come out to order, a roach was on the counter!! Never again. I could not believe it when I saw it. I left and will never go back. Thank you they didn t take my money.
Good food and good service mmmm how delicious
The line was long. It was hot inside. The cashier is rude and my curry chicken was dry as hell. Won t EVER go here again!
Love their oxtail!!!!
Okay so the food is good, but the customer service and wait times suck.. the person taking your order is really rude. I would say hello how are you and she would say what s your order? The wait times are super long I think if you can order online this would make life easier, but sadly they do no answer their phone or take orders. I would recommend Carenas better customer service and quicker time to get phone. This small business has work to do.
Some of the best Jamaican food in town. I recommend the red peas soup. Its delicious. Call ahead with take out orders. Saves time.
Authentic Caribbean cuisine.
The food isnt what it use to be and let me be clear my taste buds are just fine!! The food is very dry and tasteless... I ordered Island fried chicken and received dry over fried, hard as a brick chicken with no Island sauce on it... Two tiny cups of sauce in the bag for a large size meal.. Cheap move. The curry chicken, size large was super dry and tasteless with spice.. I waited forever, for food I ended up throwing away.. Not to mention, I drove 25 minutes to go there.. I saw the responses from Queens in the reviews.. They seem a tad bit rude when reacting to reviews. Instead of being nice nasty I suggest you take heed from the constructive criticism and do better for your business sake! Some people will eat anything yes... but for how long? I want to leave a great review but it hasnt been earned... Let me also be clear... I definitely look forward to a response. My push back is fire, so proceed with caution... The truth is in the food!!
Ive been eating here for 10+ years. No complaints. Great food, great prices and great service. If you love Jamaican food this is the place to go.
The curry chicken is really good (that s all I eat from them) BUT the customer service is TERRIBLE.. You d think the reviews would encourage them to change some things up but nope. I hope they go back to delivering food so I can avoid going anywhere near this place. They re pretty rude, I Don t even waste my manners on them anymore. Just grab my food and go.
Parking: I m really not complaining about the parking. I am complaining because, I called my order in to avoid waiting in line. When I arrived I stood at the express window. The young lady prepared to bag my meal. The woman who never smiles told her I had to go wait in line it was about a 20 minute wait, for food that was ready. I had to wait in line to pay! After I got home my food was cold. I am not sure why this lady is so mean. her customer service skills are horrible and she needs to change. I was looking forward to my meal. It was disappointing to take my first scoop, to cold cabbage. I think I will stick with IreVibes
Everything was delicious.
Best curry in Richmond
I cant wait to go back...
This is a lil Jamaican spot in Southside of Richmond that 4ever stays packd mon!! I doubled back twice in two days to get the combo oxtails & curry goat which was just under $22. Portions might not look like much but I didnt finish my plate till about a good 4 hrs later. The food is goodt!! I opted 4 no rice but it comes with it too. Well ... Time 2 dig in
Good food
Great food I love Queens
I have been coming to Queens for years. Yesterday, I called in a order of soup and was told she got it. We waited in line over 30 minutes to pick up order they gave to someone else. Instead of holding up the line I called and asked what happened and she said with no remorse them give it away then hung up on me. Sad but I get the message. You dont need my business.
Great food ....great prices.... Social distancing was in place and the store was very clean and quiet
Great
Omg the curry chicken and ox tails and rice on point. And cant leave da cabbage out
All Queens food Good! They got Southside on Lock
Its the brown stew chicken n i add a side of mac n cheese n im good!!!
I moved here from Newark nj a few months ago and this is the first time since I I been here that I had some good jamaican food I definitely will be going here again the combo oxtails and curry goat was really good
Always a Pleasant Experience.
I bought food from there put it in the fridge overnight the next day it was spoiled dont think the food is freash
Food is always delicious
Visiting this establishment for the second time. I am realizing more and more that most Caribbean eateries have HORRIBLE customer service! These people dont speak and/ or they barely speak back. When were in a pandemic you would think that they would value a customers dollar and provide bare minimum decent customer service. I drove 18 miles out of my way to support this business. The food was average but because of the customer service I wont be back.
Food can be better...
Ive been on crutches since February 6th, so I wanted some comfort Jamaican food. I ordered from GrubHub and they put all these tremendous taxes on my order so I was kind of leary and cynical about my food coming out good. When I tell you Queens came through!!this food is fresh and good. reminds me of a back Bush restaurant in ocho Rios..Im sitting on the beach eating my ackee and saltfish. great job
Blessed Food Blessed Service
Luv it. My all time favorite place to eat. The portions are fair. The price has risen a little, but understanding with everything happening
The best in Richmond
Great food I love the oxtail but don t call you won t get answer
Very slow service food is great though ! Cashier always seem as if shes having a bad day !
One word Disgusting
Very dry not fresh
Order Jerk Chicken and it was dry very disappointing because they were highly recommended. Order 7/14/21 around 11:50a-12p paid 11.41 transaction ID:2025
Okay Ill preface by saying the food was very very very tasty. For the small meal goat curry and a Snapple was it was 17.92 Which is insanely expensive. I had also had a small curly hair which isnt a big deal because these things happen I would recommend it maybe once but I dont plan on coming back.
I love the hospitality that the receptionist have when she takes your order shes always smiling shes always asking how are you she always suggest other items on the menu so shes up selling for the company which is a great asset and I love her and I love her and I love her.. I was pregnant with four identical quad Boys in 2015 and she showed me so much respect and also fed me not for free but she let me get things how I want it
Best Jamaican food in the state!!!! I love this place. My go to is curry chicken.
I went to Queens for lunch today and got the oxtails and curry goat combo with a side of macaroni and cheese. I have to say hands down that this meal was absolutely amazing!!! They definitely don t skimp on the portions and the flavor is soooo authentic!!! Well worth the money!! I ll definitely be going again!!!
My granddaughter to love this food; she visited twice to place an order while she was in town.
The food was horrible
Its delicious
Long wait, messed up my order, way too expensive
Love the food. Reminds me of grandmas cooking. Recommended.
Very spicy
Not good
Someone told me that they have the best Jamaican food in Richmond, so I said why not try. First, I placed an order by telephone. I arrived 10 minutes later thinking I would walk in, pay, and pick my food up. NOT! They don t start cooking your food until you pay. There are 2 lines. One is to pay and one to pick up, but they don t have any signs directing patrons. It s hot and shabby in the place and they move like snails. All of this and I haven t tasted my food yet! Needless to say, I won t be back. Update: I had to change my rating, because when I tasted this food, it was amazing! I ve been going back ever since. I still wish they would add some sort of online ordering system, because it s inconvenient to call your food in ahead of time and it s never prepared when you arrive.
The food was awesome I ordered a oxtail white rice and cabbage meal with a tropical Rhythm guava Fusion drink
I cant live without Queens I refuse to eat at any other Jamaican Restaurant in the whole city. Curry chicken I always beg for extra extra extra extra carrots because their so good and flavorful and I just must have extra gravy lol well currently headed there now its lunch time I just had to review because Im so in love with queens. Tatiana
The worst restaurant I haven t been to I called in an order for chicken soup got there and ask for the chicken soup he told me to stand in a line I proceeded to Stan on the line for 10 to 15 minutes get to the front the lady says there s no chicken soup shrugged her shoulders ..No customer service no etiquette is just plain out rude worst place ever
The food was awesome. Staff was so pleasant & patient.
Today I had a jerk pork with rice and peas it was to die for!! Rice was silky and tasty pork was off the chain definitely recommend you get on a Friday....
I have been going to this restaurant for quite some time now. However, I am taking the time to write a fair and honest review. The food is good but not consistent. The attitudes are far less desirable. They had an older woman working behind the counter (shes no longer there now), who had the worse attitude ever. They now have a woman with long dreads, she bags your food at the counter who replaced her with the bad attitude! She always acts like you are bothering her and she does not want to service patrons. Her attitude is horrible!! I blame myself for continuing to frequent a place with poor customer service. The lines are long, the food is not consistant, and they accept your telephone order, only to be told that they DO NOT accept telephone orders when you arrive at the restaurant! What a waste of time, especially if you are still on the clock at work. They act this way because they are located in the hood and therefore treat people accordingly...although this is NOT a good practice. They would never thrive and survive in Short Pump, Midlothian or Chesterfield, therefore, they need to stay in Southside Plaza where they can get away with this foolishness! Employees need to remember that the customers they are being rude to, are the VERY SAME people that put money in their pockets and food on their tables! Without customers, their business WOULD NOT EXIST! If you want decent priced food, with great customer service, please visit Caribbean Kitchen in Petersburg. You will not be disappointed! Carenas also has good food, a pleasant atmosphere and great customer service. I will no longer be going back to this place. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere!
Always love eating at QUEENS! Where is the new restaurant? I moved across town and I heard that location was closer to me? I only eat Queens Jamaican. Other restaurants have let me down with no spice or flavor! QUEENS is always flavorful and consistent!
This is by far the best Carribbean Restaurant. My husband loves the Oxtails. Hes a truck driver so when ever he has a load to pickup or drop off we stop by here. The food is delicious and hot. I recommend this restaurant if youre looking for a good Carribbean Restaurant. Yummy
They so sweet
Nasty. Roaches crawling on the counter and when I told her she just looked at it and didnt do anything about it.
I decided to check this place out because I heard it was better than my go to Jamaican restaurant, but I wasn t impressed. The beef patty was old, the plantains were dry, the food lacked flavor, but the portion size was decent.
Awesome food
Jamaica House more flavor
food is pretty good, I always order kids/lunch size curry chicken. I really dont appreciate all of the bones from the chicken in my food lately Ive been spitting out small pieces of bones. Ive mentioned to the lady at the front counter and she just got offended like I asked for my money back. I just want them to be aware of what theyre serving especially if the size is meant for children.
I just love this place I travel from highland springs just for their food!!!!
I know oxtails are expensive but for the price u should get more than 3
Horrible experience yesterday. Tried calling for approximately 20 minutes. Drove from VCC all the way over there for my Birthday dinner, and they didn t have Anything at 6:15 pm with close time 9:15 pm No oxtail, pepper steak, rice and beans, beef patties, chicken patties, corn bread. Coco bread. Only white rice. I was highly disappointed and disgusted. Asked could I get a discount and was willing to purchase something. But my question was the funniest thing they heard in years Won t be driving 10-15 miles for that nonsense again.
One of my fav places to go to since I moved to VA but the most recent time I went I was literally the 5th person in line since the restrictions from COVID so basically one of the first people in the establishment when they opened. I repeated My order to the lady in the front and paid. I know that my reg order takes an extra 15-20mins because of what it is but any other time Ive received my food it was always right. When I got home about 30mins away and realized it was not right (I am pescatarian and my food was contained chicken) I tried to call the entire day before the time closed to see if I could come back before I left town. I went out of town still trying to get in contact with someone to let them know about the order I paid for & couldn t even enjoy. Haven t been able to get in contact with the store at all. The phone is either always automatically busy when I call or off the hook.
I love queens
Tried this place for the first time today. It doesnt look like much and its so much going on outside but thats Southside for you. I placed my order oxtails, white rice and the cabbage. By far the best thing on the plate was the cabbage. The oxtails didnt fall off the bone which Im used too and I used to work in a Jamaican place so I was eating it about 4 or 5 days a week. The portion size was good I got a large. I tried calling before for about an hour and it just kept ringing so dont bother calling. The wait time was decent but people who came in after me started getting there food before me that was my issue. Before you say some things take less time I know but I heard other orders of oxtails. There carrot cake though was DELICIOUS. I might go here again to try the jerk but I just pray on that day the rice tastes better because come on its plain white rice. But well see.
First & Last Time!! Food Was Very, Very Disappointing!! Some People DO Know How Real Jamaican Food Should Look & Taste!! Smh.... Thiui s Was NOT IT!!!Rice Was Mushy, Jerk Chicken Dry! Over Priced, Not Worth It. Done With Take Out Food.. No Respect.
Great service, food is fantastic
I had the worst experience!!! They completely made my meal wrong and refused to remake my order. Mind you it was my lunch in which i had to wait for the food and drive back to the place when I seen the meal was wrong. Customer service was horrible in the manner how they handled it. I was the second person that had to go back to handle the matter in which I lost my whole lunch fixing an error on their part. They refunded me my money but the issue was I still went without lunch because of their error. They worst customer service I ve experienced on I situation that was their fault. She said if I wanted another meal I would have to pay for it, that s all I wanted. I didn t want the refund but her attitude about the matter wasn t necessary an I wasn t rude in any manner.
It s Aite ... it s not Jamaica house tho
The food is delicious
She is the Queen
Good food
Love the food
Ate here for the first time after being told it was in the running with my favorite jamaican restaurant, which was on the other side of town. and it was pretty good.
Love the prices and the spicy style curry sauce is phenomenal like no other will return
The food here is really good but the service is lacking. Matter of fact we havent been here in maybe 2 years because of slow service. We tried to make a special occasion of it today. Waited in line only to get to the register and find out that they the dont have a basic Jamaican dish....Jerk Chicken....no oxtail either.... The Mr. is getting some curry but we wont be back. Very disappointed.
I ordered the curried goat. I actually had enough for two meals! The food was delicious and coupled with the fast service, the whole experience was one of pure satisfaction!
Food is excellent they just dont answer the phone
Toooo Sssppiiccyy. Make sure you have Tums.
The staff isnt friendly at all, but the food is amazing always.
What is a reason for calling in an order to still have to wait in line to still have your food cooked???
Cant never hated this place the food is good
