CAVA in Richmond

They messed up our order. Failed to include free side pitas on a 10 person order. Otherwise, great food and friendly service.

The food is delicious, especially the white rice with chicken, and the service is great.

This CAVA is short on parking but my orders are always correct and ready in time for pickup. This is a great location for VcU students or anyone that happens to be in the area.

The food is great, but apparently none of the staff have ever used the mens restroom. The toilet seat has been falling off its hinge for OVER THREE MONTHS and no one has bothered to fix it. All it needs is five minutes and a socket wrench. It makes me worry if theyre not fixing something that simple, are the rest of their appliances working properly?

If you are looking for a Mediterranean-inspired cuisine CAVA is the place to go. It s in the richmond city and nearby to all most all the departments in monroe park campus. The atmosphere is casual yet stylish in this place, perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners. Service is generally friendly and efficient, though peak times may lead to a bit of a wait. Overall, Cava delivers a tasty and healthy dining option Parking: There are a lot of parking spots

Its hard to go wrong with CAVA. The mediterranean bowls are absolutely delicious and so filling. The parking at this location is a bit of a struggle, and there are times the servers can be a bit stingy with the helpings, but the ingredients are great.

I wouldn t recommend getting Uber Eats from this location. Every time I order, multiple toppings are missing. Going to ensure your order is correct I suggest going in.

The two guys working the counter today were absolutely awful one of them gave my gf the wrong toppings on top of the incredibly small amount of each incorrect item while the other was so clueless I wonder how he even got a job there would have given zero stars if I could

Very quick for a busy location. Always fresh and fully stocked. Can t say the same about willow lawn. Vcu cava is a well run operation.

I frequent this location due to the great service and efficiency in which this place is ran. The manager and staff are always friendly and even remember my order. I enjoy coming in and being one of the regulars. The food is always stocked, fresh, and the portions are fair.

This is not the first time I ve had a bad experience at this location, but at this point I m starting to notice a pattern. I frequent this location because of how close it is to where I live, but after my last experience I was absolutely disgusted. Every time I come here I have to ask for a little extra of something and don t get me wrong I don t mind paying extra for meat, but when it comes to rice and sauce I mean come on. For a little extra rice it is 1.45 and who knows how much it is for sauce. They will give you plenty of one item like the tomatoes and cucumbers, but when you ask for more olives you would think it s coming out of their paycheck. Mind you, it s only the palm colored people who act like this towards people of the opposite color. It s disgusting. I never imagined that because of my race, I would experience this (especially at a food establishment). Needs new management and revaluation of morals. I go to the Willow Lawn location and never have to ask for extra anything and it s predominately black establishment that s the only difference, it s really sad.

Have been coming back constantly because of the fresh Pita & Harrisa Sauce.. The service is excellent, always clean on the inside , & food is still consistently FRESH.. I fell in love with the Blueberry Lavender drink .. All around top salad spot in VCU area ..Thank you 6/18/24 UPDATE; Blaine is always quick and very pleasant when I come here .. normally he serves me. I like the fact he keeps fresh food , the line moving , and very social with customers ! I have had nothing but good experiences at this location and the service is still A1. I truly appreciate coming to an environment that not only feels good but serves delicious food & CAVA IS THAT !! Thanks again Blaine , you and your team never disappoint

I haven t been to cava in a while, but they did not disappoint . This location is great everyone greets you, it s nice and clean, and you get what you pay for . Jade and Madison helped me today and they were awesome ! Definitely coming back again !

Hands down my BEST CAVA EXPERIENCE YET. I love cava and have gone to several different locations. Amanda, Isabel, and Ryan went above and beyond. They were patient as we made our food choices, made sure our food was fresh, and really cared if we had a great experience. The food was delicious, fresh from the kitchen and PERFECT on the HOTTEST day of the summer. It felt like 102 degrees yall. The restaurant was clean and it had such a cute space upstairs!

I went to cava after a viewing needless to say I was an emotional wreck. I informed Jared this was my very first time at cava and did not know what to order. He was very patient with me and explained what was in the sauces and more. His recommendations were spot on and customer service was beyond amazing. Thank you Jared!

They have a very nasty disposition when you walkin, rude and unprofessional their customers service sucks ,I will never order out there again long story short came in for two oder my son an myself only left out with one guess they didnt care enough to fix my second order which was for a child since it was closing time an I was their last customer ,I should hv known better having a previous encounter with someone else order

Didnt want to give a good helping of rice in our chicken & rice bowls although I kindly asked for more please. I was informed that it would be extra for more. My other party was displeased with the amount for the price we paid. So we may go to our usual Cava location next time.

I usually don t like to post but I had a dangerous reaction experience with my kids at CAVA. Last week on February 22 during lunch time. Girl Manager dropped a whole box from upstairs just because she don t want to carry it downstairs! My kids were on their way to restroom when she threw it out! Extremely unprofessional of her the manager and can get someone hurt. I will never go back again to this location if the manager doesn t care about safety of the customers. Please CAVA do better

Good food, friendly staff!

First time trying cava. Got the lamb meatball pita. Super impressed, perfectly seasoned meat and the pickled onions set it off. On top of the food the staff were all super nice and helpful. Jaron was very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. 10/10 I ll be back for sure!

I went to CAVA for the first time and felt disappointed with their food. The food lacked flavor to say the least. There was only chicken and no other options. When I asked about the lamb I was told it was almost done, a second later it was being cut up and put into my bowl it was very evident that it was not fully cooked once I left and began consuming it. Disappointed is an understatement and I definitely plan to never eat here again.

Always clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is always exactly how I order it and always delicious.

We were first time at Cava. Parking spaces are very tight. Its hard to find space. Was trying to pay with cash, they said they dont have change. Portions are small: half of a bowl. Staff is not friendly.

Horrible location!!!!!! Beware! Every single time I order there s something missing. I use Uber Eats for delivery and love Cava but not this location. I pay extra for items I never receive consistently. Today it was a $5 drink plus my lentils and cucumbers are missing. Never again. I d rather drive to the location 10 miles from house than this bastion of ineptitude. Pure incompetence.

Food is decent, but 2 of the last 3 times I went, they left out items I paid for. I didn t notice until I was home, because we make large orders and it s hard to go through everything in the drive-thru lane.

I love CAVA unfortunately I moved from Richmond to a place without a CAVA ! Danville better get CAVA as it s the only fast food that I will eat other than Chipotle which does not have as many options also the lamb meatballs are amazing. I was told that they re bringing back the shredded lamb too which is my favorite ! Jarrell helped me and his service was impeccable !

The food was good. The establishment was dirty. Tables and floors were not clean. We got there at opening. Seems like the crew the night before did not do a good job. Hopefully it s not like this all the time.

The servers were not careful...the food was being spread onto everything....the trays were not clean, leftover food onto them...everything including the stairs going up looked dirty....the current employees are not managing the place well

I love Cava! Bonus: this location has pita strips which is something that my local location does not have. Clean facility and friendly staff!

The food felt like it was sitting out for awhile, also didn t get a lot of anything in my bowl. I felt skimped on my order. I don t recommend this CAVA. I ve eaten at way more better CAVAs than this one, so I was very disappointed when I came here.

I loved CAVA!!! The food selection was so enormous. I had them prepare a healthy bowl for me filled with all the best ingredients. It was so delicious. I can t wait to go back.

Everything is always fresh. I love the selection and the freshly made drinks that are different and refreshing! Parking: A few shops compete with the parking lot. So its very busy. Usually hardly any wait at all though. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp.

Such good food with so many options to customize your meal! The Mediterranean sauces and dips with all of the fresh ingredients was very enjoyable. The food was priced well while the fountain drinks were a little on the expensive side but being right there campus, it wasn t shocking.

The foods delicious and garnered around the customer being able to select and build their meal from a variety of healthy nutritious items. The staff seems mostly very friendly. Been treated kindly there even if I wasnt paying for anything. The inside itself is neater than most places with an upstairs seating area though Ive never gone up there or ate in store. Its solid I just wish it didnt cost as it did but thats to be expected for the quality and amount of food your getting, never not had leftovers. Thats about it, watch out for over privileged entitled children you are right next to campus after all Parking: Shared parking lot with a few other businesses in the city. You do the math

For all the people who left a BAD review I highly disagree because this place has an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, and just overall a great place to eat. People have to understand this day and age and people also have to understand that fast food workers work super hard to give people an experience and I know personally how well this establishment has done with that. The customer is always right IN MATTER OF TASTE is the whole expression and they ve given me a great experience.

The food is very good, clean and healthy. The portions are plentiful to save for later. However, I haven t been in a CAVA yet that is clean. All have been less than desirable. Tables are always dirty to where you have to sanitize yourself. Bad Ju-Ju.

My review used to be 5 stars. Changing it because you guys always forget my pita chips when I order delivery!! Uber eats just gives me back $2.99 but I don t want $2.99 I want my chips I can t get more chips delivered for $2.99 and the pita chips are the only thing I really want when I order here

This location is sub-par at best. I absolutely love CAVA but I would stick to the Midlothian locations for a higher qaulity of food.

The rice is sometimes dry and the other stuff looks like it was sitting out a bit too long. The seating is cool and there is a balcony which is fun! Overall decent food at a reasonable price.

I love Cava, it s my takeout go to on my days off, but something has been up with them lately. They forget sauce on your bowl, forget to add your side dip that you paid for, forget your pita chips and now this travesty. I bought two bags of chips to eat with tzatziki and the spicy hummus special. This is the amount of dip that I received. These used to come full. The hummus isn t even covering the bottom of the ramekin. I got 5 dollars back from DoorDash but I m starting to think I should just stop ordering from here because I always just get five dollars back instead of the thing I was craving.

My first time going to CAVA and now im addicted! The customer service was the cherry on top and i ate on the patio on the roof!

Order had an item that they were out of. They didn t tell me until I checked the order, then told me it had been out of stock all day and were letting customers know when they got there. Except no one said anything until I checked the order. I asked for a refund, I was told they couldn t process refunds at the store and would need to email for a refund. I was giving the store another chance after a couple of wrong orders, never again. Don t waste your time or money at this place.

Great service, especially Julian! He kindly remade my bowl on two separate occasions, once when I dropped it and another time when the rice was off, which I greatly appreciated.

This is the best food ever. Get the spicy lamb meatballs, and the tahini sauce. And garlic sauce. And all the feta. Thank me later. The only thing Im not a fan of is the parking space is that they have to share with Panera and chipotle. Its limited parking so its hard to pick up your order at times.

Great place to get lunch on VCU campus! Positively delicious!

I had to wait an thirty (30) minutes for two (2) salads (Total time from order placed online to it being ready was forty-five (45) minutes). Thats unacceptable. If you cant make the the orders--dont take the orders. I would have gotten lunch elsewhere. For people who have schedules they have to keep this is disrespectful.

I love the bowls here. They put just the right amount of everything on them. I usually get the grains and greens with hummus, tzaziki, and falafel. I fill out the rest of the bowl based on what Im feeling that day. I wind up having enough for 2 meals so I think of it as $7.50 per meal.

Salads are good. Service is good. Prices well you have to pay the price for convenience. Oh well. I wanted to update my review. I find that this is a go to spot for me when salads are my option. But Ive learned something when it comes down to food prep. No two crews cook the same and being a foodie I check everything. But I also learned that if something is not right with your order they will fix it. But you may be inconvenience to have that done, but management will make consessions for that too.

Always a great place to grab a quick healthy meal

Not getting to go from this location anymore. This is the second time Ive had soggy, rotten spinach added to my bowl, but luckily, it was only half of the puny handful this time, unlike all of it last time. The amount you get in the to go bowls just gets smaller and smaller, and never as full as if you get them inside. And Ive had about three of the four or five orders actually complete. ALWAYS check that theyve added everything to your bag before you leave. Chances are, itll be missing something.

Last couple times there has been a grainy, sandy substance in my food. Proteins always cold and mushy unless you like chicken. Not to mention the horrific price for food that has bean sitting on a warmer.

Plenty flavor for vegans, food was FRESH. Have a lot toppings to pick from, with a great blend of ingredients. Wasn t expecting that!
