First time visiting and wanted to try something different. I was very surprised with the lamb chops because they were very tender and perfectly seasoned accompanied with stone ground Cajun grits. The hospitality by Neco and Ki will absolutely bring us back and glad we made this decision. Please know it s a small, quaint and intimate place, but the right choice!!!

It was my first visit. I love supporting black owned establishments. Autumn offered a comfortable atmosphere, soulful r &b Playlist, dimmed lighting, and lounge seating. It was Taco Tuesday! The tacos are fyah. We also enjoyed some cocktails and an order of the wings. Everything was flavorful. We are looking forward to returning for brunch.

The food was soo good! Get the Wings with Autum dry rub! Also this place has the best happy hour with tasteful tacos and $2 shots! You can t beat that :)

Not going to lie, I don t usually leave reviews of food places but holy damn this food is amazing. Don t come here if you re looking for a cutesy instagram brunch spot. Come here if you want fire food, amazing drinks, and great vibes.

Came to Autums to celebrate my sisters birthday. This was my first time here and it will definitely not be my last. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was seasoned perfectly. I definitely recommend Autums. This was a great brunch experience!

The food was great! I had the salmon burger and my friend had the chicken and waffles both were great and delicious. I rated my burger a 7 and the chicken and waffles were a 10. We both got drunk the lavender lemon drop rated a 9 very sweet. sunset rum punch rated a 8 more on the tart side. Would get again . Both of the drinks were $13 dollars.

Held a wedding rehearsal brunch here and the staff did their thing. Something about the entire room being able to hype eachother up with the bartender and manager getting the energy up that makes a spot pop. Chefs came out and introduced themselves. Ki was our server and she was accurate, efficient and kept. The drinks rolling! Water and everything else! Def will be back with the gang!

The food and drinks were some of the best i had in a very long time. French toast and the salmon cakes were incredible. The biggest downfall was the flies ugh, it made the experience sucky, but besides that it was great ! And our severs were dope.

1st time in today. I am so glad we stopped. Yall! Ah-ma-zing Brunch! The space is intimate and nice. Service was professional and quick. The Manager was awesome. Although the tea is not brewed, its a wonderful rendition of a sweet tea with a splash of lemon. Its very good as well. Overall experience: Outstanding and we will be back.

The food was well-executed, I had the Hot honey salmon cakes over cajun cheesy gritz dish. The salmon was cooked just right neither overcooked nor undercooked well seasoned with a balance of spices that complement the richness of the cheesy grits. The grits themselves were creamy, with a velvety texture and a pronounced cheesy flavor that did not overwhelm the dish but enhanced it. As for service, Nyii provided great service and dining experience. She was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and offer recommendations and answer questions confidently. The drinks were also on point, I definitely will be back.

Amazing experience, had the lamb lollipops and Cajun Penne bowl. I would order it every day if I could. Yum! Fun atmosphere, good music, friendly service.

Finally got to experience the greatness and I was not disappointed everything was sooooooo good I got the lambchops n gross with Frenchtoast I couldnt pass them up and so glad I got them whoever the chef is did an amazing job and the drinking was drinking i had the blue something like that its best to have reservations but they did squeeze us in and glad that they were able to high recommend you want be disappointed

I had been looking forward to trying them out for quite some time but I left disappointed. The service was extremely slow (nobody else was there but me and a friend) that I asked our server several times about it. It took an hour to get our food main dish and the order wasn t up correct. Plus our appetizers came after our main dish. I can honestly say the best things were the drinks and my friend s the lamb chops.

It says its a Lounge but doesnt look like one , couldve left that part out but the food was delicious

Food was too expensive for brunch. The omlettes were pricy and no sides were included unless you paid $5 per side. I will say, the food was delicious! My sausahe was cold, but nonetheless, it was good. Potatoes were amazing and flavorful. Customer service was great as well, except I felt rushed to leave after my meal. I spent $73 for brunch and asked to clear out before finishing my memosa. I will also say, for $25 eggs, I dont want plastic silverware. Maybe something was going on that day, but I would prefer actual silverware. So service was good until asked to leave, food was great bit too pricey, and they gave us plasticware to dine. I personally wouldnt return for brunch, but I can understand why it was recommended. Everyones experience is different.

Ive been wanting to go here for a while and it surely didnt disappoint! The gentleman at the door was so sweet, he approached us with roses and opened the door while providing seating instructions. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming, the food was immaculate and the vibes were even better! 100000/10 recommend, this might just be my new go to brunch spot.

Went in on a Tuesday for a special I saw that they have and we were seated and greeted by Nya our waitress she came over advertised the wrong special / promotion took our order & we never saw her again until it was time to pay the tab she was outside over half of our time in there we had to ask another waitress who was amazing I think her name is Jas for assistance and she assisted with no problem we asked for chicken wings and got chicken tacos after being told that we would be getting a deal or the special that was advertised wasnt what was on the ticket she explained that hey I could be charging yall 8$ but instead Im charging yall 7$ so its still a deal but we were under the imp that it was 2$ from what she initially told us so we asked for a manager Chan was amazing and very understanding of what had taken place she was very apologetic about the entire situation. Thank you Chan for your amazing service & urge to assist with this matter only because of you we may return only if you & jaz are our waitresses

On Saturday May 5th, my daughter was given a surprise brunch here scheduled for 2. We had a lil wait time when we arrived throwing us a lil off plans, but let me tell you the manager bounce back was real. The reservation was for 20 ppl and at first there was not enough sitting in our area, he brought over a whole table, cleaned it up and we were back in business. I dont remember the manager name but let me say I thought he owned the place the way he moved around that restaurant to make sure both parties, someone else was celebrating a birthday, was comfortable. The way he interacted with us you would have thought we was old friends. He laughed, and danced with us all evening. He really made my daughter 35th birthday celebration enjoyable. I told him before we left that it started off rocky but the come back was real. The food was excellent, I order the shrimp and grits and my oh my . I will definitely be telling people about your restaurant and I will definitely be back.

My friends and I came to the Richmond area for a birthday getaway and stopped in Autumn for brunch. Let me tell you everything was absolutely amazing!! We were first greeted outside 30mins before they opened by the cook Nellz whom assured us we was in the best spot in Richmond and he had never lied! Upon entering we were greeted by the beautiful Ki whom sat us at the bar and made sure we were good the whole time we were there with the assistance of Neco. Definitely will be our go to when we are in the area!

Nicole was an excellent server. She was definitely a sweetheart and she made sure all of the tables she was responsible for was taken care of. I will definitely be back

I stopped in on a cold rainy day. Firstly, the mood in the place was on point. Then I had a drink and it was amazing. I didnt get to eat the food but I saw the lamb chops come out and they looked amazing. The people that worked there seemed to love what they do. 5 stars

Shout out to the entire staff at Autum Lounge! From the Peach Pit drink, to the DJ and the food was remarkably good! The Waffle didn t need no extra butter or syrup it came out ready made! It was soft and scrumptious! The Seafood egg omelette was tha Bomb! Five Stars All the way from Texas!

The atmosphere was amazing!!! DJ was on point BUT the bathroom, the 1 & ONLY bathroom, was Out of Order. Upon asking the waitress what the establishment was doing for its patrons who needed to use the bathroom she very politely told me I could walk up & down Hull St to see if other establishments would let me use their bathroom. A male staff member used the out of order restroom regardless, & apparently needed to sit down because a patron went to restroom after him, turned his nose up, & close the door. Such an unfortunate circumstance. This establishment could have at least paid a surrounding establishment to allow its patrons to utilize its facilities; anything to show that you care & appreciate your patrons. Is it not against health codes to not have a working restroom? Was that staff member able to wash his hands? Genuinely, I want to support black businesses but not at the expense of my health. I really wish this establishment the best, but we got to do better! At this time I have no intention of returning. AND, the bill was over $100 & this establishment can t even provide common amenities to its patrons .NEVER come back.

1st time here. Got here when they 1st open staff wasnt ready to receive guest. Wife was looked over twice before someone finally greated her and asked her if she had reservations we did not and the seated us at the bar. 1st lesson because it is small and you want to eat plan before you go. Get reservations. Sat at the bar our water was promptly served and order was taken very politely. The beverages tasted very fresh and tasty. Then the food came out. The preparation and presentation was beautiful. The food was very tasteful and cooked well. I had the chicken and waffles my wife had the seafood omelet. The omelet was a lil salty for her but if was cooked well. The grits were delicious. The thing I didnt like was the banter between the staff Once arriving like they werent ready for company. Once the bill came was surprised that the tip was included no problem but that needs to be said upfront and that the tip goes to the house not the server. So we left one just for our server. Overall I would go back and enjoy. The atmosphere was awesome and the food was good.

Came here for taco Tuesday because it was advertised (and pinned) on their Instagram that there were $2 tacos. They literally only serve tacos really so when we saw the menu for $6-$8 tacos, we thought Tuesday was special. We were never greeted when we entered and a customer told us where we could sit, the customer service was terrible, the nasty tacos took an hour to make and came out cold and in a to go container. My friend and I were so mad at the end of the day because the quality of the service and the food was not worth $35. When we paid we also asked if gratuity was included and they told us no. Only got me to go home and review my receipt to find out it was in life s and I tipped them 33% on THIS. The tacos were so mediocre, the tomatoes were literally huge chunks, and they simply aren t worth how much they re priced at. If you like hookah and loud music like half the other black restaurants in the city, then you re in luck! I ll never be back.

My husband enjoyed his drinks, but I didnt enjoy my Strawberry Hennessy. It was supposed to have strawberry puree, but I got chunks of halfway mashed strawberries instead. It also did not taste like it had any fruit juice in it. It had a watered down taste. We ordered garlic parm wings (appetizer), pasta with shrimp (entrée), and salmon (entrée). My husband wanted chicken and waffles, but the waiter said they were out of batter (although the people sitting next to us got chicken and waffles...maybe they got the last of the batter?). It took at least 45 minutes for us to get any food after we ordered. The waiter did apologize multiple times for the delay in the food arriving. At one point the manager/owner stopped by and told us that our food was coming any minute. But it was at least another 15 minutes after he said that before we got any food. The wings and the pasta came out at the same time, which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. The wings had a good flavor, but way too much salt. The pasta sauce was watery and a bit bland, especially in comparison to the salty wings. It took another 10-15 minutes for the salmon to come out. The salmon was cooked well (not over/undercooked) and it had a pretty good sauce on top. The mac and cheese was better than I expected, and the broccolini had a good flavor. The music was very loud. There was a TV playing music videos and a speaker music. We were seated under the TV. Shortly after we arrived, a DJ came and set up. At times, the music from the TV and the DJ were playing at the same time. We were also not a fan of the owner/manager going in and out the front door so many times. I believe he was smoking. One of the workers sprayed down the table next to us with a bottle of Lysol or Clorox. The type of bottle you buy to use in your home. The smell was extremely strong. I thought restaurants use special cleaning solutions? They could not provide an itemized bill before running our card. The waiter said the machine wouldnt let him. We werent really comfortable with this. They do charge an automatic service fee, which is well advertised. But the customer should be able to verify what they are paying for before their card is swiped. The reviews for brunch seem to be good so maybe we will try that and have a better experience.

Needless to say we couldnt eat it all but nothing went untouched! Definitely going again! Update: I failed to mention my husband went to the bathroom during the day and spoke about nets but I paid it no mind thought it was nothing. I went again on Thursday for margarita night with a few friends. The place was full of nets... The big ones and we were swatting the night away. Not to mention the Salmon croquettes we ordered tasted sour and the beta kept surrounding the plate. Awful 2nd visit!

I went on Taco Tuesday. It took 1 1/2 hour to get 2 tacos and beans and rice. The drinks, food and service was good. Another issue was they added 18% to the bill but didnt tell me or give me a paper bill. When I look at the screen to pay it didnt show the 18% but asked if you wanted to do a tip. Didnt realize the tip was included until after I gave an additional tip and got the receipt. Also the videos were a little for me and the bathroom could use a deep cleaning.

Its my birthday and Ive seen this restaurant on tic tok so why not make plans to celebrate with my wife, reservations at 1230..unfortunately we got there on time and we waited over 20 minutes for ice water another 30 for drinks because they were waiting on champagne to be delivered at 1:46 we were still waiting for shrimp and grits with eggs and salmon cakes with potatoes, the service was poor this establishment isnt ready for the publicity from social media. There were item on the drink menu that couldnt be made because there wss absolutely no Hennessey or Dusse in the building. Im dissatisfied with todays turn out not one head person came out to apologize or offer anything explanation. But made sure we paid for the 2 tropical mimosas we did have. Hope the establishment pulls it together real quick real fast.Im sure from all the pictures on tic tok the food would have been good. Better kitchen staff is a must we watch a group of 4 people get their food separately. Sadly by time the 2nd set came out the 1st set was completely done and all they had was 2 orders of lamb chops and grits and 2 orders of chicken and waffles the couples didnt eat together at all. The chicken tenders needed a pinch of salt & the salmon cakes were a little salty but overall the food was decent. I enjoyed the french toast and breakfast potatoes. They were nice enough to accommodate my party of 7 at the last minute so I appreciate that. The mimosa pitchers were on point. We were sat at 4pm and given brunch and dinner menus. When the waitress came to take our orders we were told they were only serving brunch. Whatever, we adjusted. Then, as were ordering it was oh, were all out of that. I also cannot get with the plastic cups and cutlery. That was a huge turn off for me. After our meal the waitress told us to come to the bar to pay so she could separate our tickets. She add all my items and gave my the total (there was no printed ticket). She then turned the screen around and said it will ask if I wanted to add a tip, which I did. After reviewing my texted receipt I realized the total she gave me ($147.50) already included 18% gratuity. I thought that was very deceitful but I wasnt in the mood to argue about it.

We truly enjoyed ourselves yesterday. While we had a large party of 15 people, the service was top tier along with the drinks!!! All of our food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. We truly appreciate the top tier customer service from all the staff members and the attention to detail to make our celebration memorable! See you all soon!

We went to Autumn lounge for brunch. The food was good, but the place is small. Service was ok. It could have been better. Taxes on my tab was $16. I asked the waitress what kind of tax was that and she said it was taxes and gratuity for the back. I have no idea who the back was, but some of these restaurants getting out of control with extra taxes a fees. I dont mind tipping, but dont provide subpar service. I still have yet to experience a good brunch in Richmond like Ive experienced in Maryland and DC.

This was such a great first experience the food was amazing!!! I had the shrimp and grits!!! My boyfriend had the eggs, beef sausage and turkey back. To drink we had the autumn old fashion and the lavender lemon drop. Definitely try it!

The owner, Brennon, and servers Fin and Mason were wonderful! The food was amazing; the atmosphere and music were top tier. The vibes were even better. They were all attentive to our table and gave excellent service. We will def be back.

I went on a Wednesday we were the only patrons. The house drink was Strawberry Hennessey, but we dont have Strawberry. No fireball, no patron. My friend asked about the Soul Roll, No Soul Roll, or bake chicken. The fire alarm kept beeping overhead like it needed a battery. My Cajun Shrimp was good and fresh, and Mac & cheese was also good. I spent $70 plus by myself, my friend $50. Im going to see how the brunch goes on the weekend. I hope I dont regret it.

It s giving Atlanta in the worst way possible. This restaurant is outright unprofessional. It sadly gives into the bad stereotypes of black businesses making it hard to support. I ve tried reaching out prior to writing a review but I ve been ignored.: I made a reservation well in advance, and the day before my reservation I get an email @ 1AM stating that the reservation was canceled by the restaurant. It was obviously frustrating so I waited to see if they would call or explain what happened. I didn t get anything, so I called to see if it was a mistake, but of course the line is down and there s no immediate way to contact the restaurant. I emailed them, but no response after DAYS. So I just rescheduled hoping it was just a 1 time thing. I get a confirmation text a few days before so I m thinking everything is fine. Then yet again . I get a cancellation email the day before. Now I m annoyed and won t recommend this place to anyone. At the very least, let me know what happened and try to make it right. The food might be okay but the customer service needs some assistance. This is a very poor way to run a business and doesn t seem to have any integrity behind their business. Why are you a business if the customers can t reach you? You cancel last minute with no explanation. I also just found out that their reviews may be fake so beware.

Ok y all, this is a fresh out the restaurant review..firstly..I m stuffed and happy. The service is first class, we sat at the bar top and was served by Corey (top tier),the other staff are also very friendly. I had the chicken and waffles(chef s kiss perfection), my guy had the vegetable omelette (he didn t even offer me a bite) and it was gone!! The Mimosas choices were hard to choose from, but you Don t have to choose, you can try them all!! They had the DJ spinning, the vibe was really very comfortable with the right vibe. We will definitely be back!! PS.. They got Taco Tuesdays!!!!

My experience was exceptional at Autumn. My friend and I are visiting from Atlanta and found this place via tik tok. We went here for brunch yesterday. We were late so we missed our reservation, however they still accommodated us at the bar. We ordered a mango mimosa carafe. I really like that they give you several flavors to choose from aside from the usual orange and cranberry. I ordered the seafood omelette. It was sooooo good. It had a lot of crab meat and shrimp in it. It was packed with flavor and the sauce was very delicious. My friend ordered salmon croquettes with a side of potatoes. At first glance the potatoes didn t look good but she said they were amazing. The service was just as GREAT as our food. When we first entered the establishment G, the manager, greeted us at the door. Brennan helped to take care of as well. He recommended that we order the toast as well. It was delicious. The two of them were both friendly and accommodating. Our food came out quick and hot. I later ordered a drink from the bar which was good as well. They offer a full bar for those who want a little more than mimosas. Experience was a 15/10! I highly recommend Every time I come to RVA I ll make my way here.

As a profound critic and philanthropist I would like to acknowledge the service that is here at this establishment. The chicken and waffles are amazing and the salmon cakes are a must! Parking is something you just have to schedule on the day you are going! The severs are amazing and they provide you an atmosphere of welcoming.

Cool laid back spot just moved in the area so trying all the restaurants that I havent tried before so more reviews to come. The service was super slow as well as the customers in there so I dont know what took so long for my order. I did a call in they said 40-50 minutes which I thought was already too long. I ended up waiting if not 2 hrs in total definitely close to it. I ordered 2 lamb chop dinners with collard greens and mac and cheese the food was fresh and on point but I expect nothing less waiting that long I would have gave the food 5 stars but honestly for the 100 dollars I paid it wasnt worth it Ive had better and bigger portions for less.

Absolutely the best 5.0 my husband and I had 4 entrees that we shared had plenty and took home some. Music DJ drinks Definitely a must go to.

We ordered a total of four brunch entrées. Every one of them were over the top good. We both started texting our family & friends. Telling them about this awesome dining experience. Went to Autum s for Taco Tuesday! I had a shrimp taco and a salmon taco and garlic parmesan wings. Wait time for food and drinks- almost a hour Tacos - Luke warm but still good Wings- Luke warm but still good Service- Shan (I think her name was Bar Manager) very professional in getting us seated and taking our orders but Sis was running around crazy! Short staffed I guess but she was handling it. Entertainment- Live DJ on a Tuesday (cool but really loud ) Overall experience - 7 out of 10 I would go back.

This is my second time at this establishment. My first time was for my birthday brunch on a Sunday and the second time was for Taco Tuesday. The hospitality shown was top tier! Food was delicious and service was fast! Shannon tended to our table with swiftness and Chef Mar is doing his thing in the kitchen!! Greg ensured we had a table when we arrived and we were seated quickly! I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for great service, vibes, food, and energy!!!

Autumn is a whole vibe! The food is A1! I ve been for brunch and for taco Tuesday and everything was delicious! The lamb chops will have a hold on you! They are flavorful, tender, and juicy! The staff is friendly and very kind! Will definitely be a spot I frequent.

The food was fresh and delicious, went the day after Christmas, it wasn t crowded at all, which I loved. I got the salmon cakes with fried potatoes and a side of french toast. Definitely will be back when I visit home again.

We found this little gem in Richmond, which ended up being great. There was a limited menu when we went. We ordered most of everything on the limited menu. I must say everything we had was absolutely amazing. The chicken and waffles, the french toast and salmon cakes. All superb. We will definitely be coming back to try more food.

Pretty decent brunch spot with major potential. They are fairly new so I believe they will be pretty good once they work out the kinks. Drinks weren t good for our experience. Lavender Lemon Drop was extremely tart. Requested syrup to help bring the tartness down. Ordered a Strawberry Mimosa but received champagne with ground orange peels instead. When asked what kind of drink we received that waiter stated that they didn t have the usual strawberry purée so they chose to give us strawberry with orange/orange peels instead. You can t choose what you want for a paying customer. Especially when you don t know what customers are allergic to. I still drank most of it to avoid a loss and tried to avoid a complaint. The payment process is not great either. When we asked for the checks the waiter advised we had to check out at the bar; however, we noticed the table next to us were able to check out via iPad. When asked why there was a difference the owner(I m assuming) forced the waiter to come back and check us out at the table. She explained tabs check out at the counter and others can checkout while seated, which makes no sense. They don t have receipts to view your order prior to paying. Once you type your card information into the iPad then they will text or email your receipt. Hopefully, what you re charge is correct prior to paying. I think a better waiter would have made the experience better but the owner seemed pretty cool and on top of things. He will go above and beyond to make sure you re satisfied.

A friend and I wanted to catch up over brunch so we decided on Autum Restaurant & Lounge located in the Manchester area of Richmond. When I walked in they were playing hiphop and the few people inside appeared to be enjoying the vibes. We started with a mimosa carafe and checked out the brunch menu. There was only one person working the bar who also took our orders. We ordered from their brunch menu and waited a really long time to get food. We were talking and catching se we didnt mind. The french toast was delicious! It has a sweet glaze and fresh blueberries on top. The veggie omelette was ridiculously good! I could drink the sauce that came on top of it because its that good lol. My friend had the salmon cakes, breakfast potatoes and turkey bacon and enjoyed it. I tasted her potatoes and regretted not ordering any because they were so tasty! It might take a bit to get your food here but dont rush perfection m; have some patience because its definitely worth the wait. Trust the process lol. Go check it out yall!

11/10/2023 Came here with my husband off of a social media recommendation. I m so glad we did. It s downtown Richmond so you have to find parking but we found some close. The atmosphere is very nice. The bartender/server Bari was awesome. He was personable and put on a tiny desk concert for us that had us smiling and vibing the whole time. The FOOD was top notch. Haven t had a breakfast that good in a long time that haven t made myself. It was beautiful and well made. We will definitely be back for the vibe and food especially the French Toast.

I had the pleasure of visiting Autum Lounge over the weekend and the experience was Top Tier! The food 10/10, definitely recommend. The entire staff was pleasant and presented themselves well. The waiter was very knowledgeable about what each dish consist of. She was prompt and polite. The setting is intimate but the vibe was on point. I highly recommend making reservations when planning to visit. & be sure to get the breakfast potatoes!

Whenever I visit its always a pleasant experience. The food, atmosphere, DJ, drinks! My favorites are the french toast, seafood omelette, burgers, and lamb chops!! You can go wrong with anything you order. The fact that they use no pork products will always be a plus for me personally. I LOVE IT HERE!

They were rushing me and others to drink our 1st drink, when we re watching the football games, they were trying to kick me and my party of 10 out when we reserved a whole section, food wait was a hr and a half, customer service was absolutely terrible, they scared my guests when they got very aggressive and belligerent. The DJ was playing good music though

So amazing to be greeted immediately. Although they didn t have enough lamb chops they were more accommodating and focused on what they could do. They even went above and beyond to make a dipping sauce from scratch. I m totally here for this black owned business. Keep it up. This experience differentiates them from others for sure! I will be coming back with more friends and family!

I found AutumRVA on IG. I am so thankful and completely grateful that I chose to do brunch here vs going to a spot in DC. The food is impeccable. The seasoning and flavoring is mouth watering. A black owned business I will most definitely frequent.

I stumbled upon this gem while at work using my GPS and from previous reviews and photos I knew I had to come see if I would also have a great experience. Lets say they are nothing short of the reviews. Its a must to stop in. Me and my two coworkers thoroughly enjoyed our meals! I made reservations for the following day for me and my significant other before even stepping foot into the building (I knew they wouldnt disappoint). Im not positive but Im sure we spoke/saw the owner. Him as well as the staff were very interactive while we waited for our food and while we dined. Im excited for tomorrow and looking forward to Taco Tuesday @ Autumn!!! Check them out yall Parking: Being that Im not from the Richmond area I feel that street Parking is a little more difficult for me. I did manage to find parking very close to the restaurant as well two others who were meeting me.
