I gotta be like the other reviewer and stop midway into my meal. I just got back into town after 9 months overseas, and lemme tell you, this place made me remember why I love Richmond. The food, as the young folk say, is bussin! Lol the milkshake made me cry before I even got back to my hotel room, it was that delicious! The atmosphere felt like I was at my aunt/cousins house with the smell of food in the air, music playing, and a happy crowd. The service was great, and as the sign says, BE PATIENT. It takes time to make the food taste this good, and trust, it is well worth the wait! I added this place to my top restaurants to visit in RVA so my friends, family, and military folks can enjoy! The menu options are awesome! I recommend ordering some egg rolls, they are delicious!

We were in town dealing with the death of my brother in law. For 2 days we had struck out with mediocre food. Our last day we stopped here and man, what a win. Jerk chicken Philly was fire along with my wifes po boy. She hasnt had an appetite for day and she enjoyed all of it. Thanks guys, keep doing what you do.

Incredible food. People that are passionate about the food they put in your hands. Crispy chicken sandwich and philly cheese steak were both amazing. No nonsense food but meticulously made with no shortcuts. You can see and taste what they did.

First time at this place on 06/20/21. Observed a good 20 minutes before ordering. Ordered 2 12 inch Philly steak and 2 chicken Phillys. The chicken Philly was actually good, I didn t get it dressed. The cheese steaks were dressed , therefore, they were soggy by the time I drove 15 minutes home. Spent $57.00. Went to work in the medical office building that I work in and shared with the boss and coworkers that they should check the place out. My boss decided today 06/21/24 that she was going to buy all 6 of us lunch. I was going to repeat the Chicken Philly and fries, 2 of them we re going to try out the Fish Platter with 2 sides, and the others we re going to try the Quesadillas. Got there and requested the same cook from yesterday and was told by the OWNER ABSOLUTELY NOT he also stated that !I don t have a personal chef . I thought that was very rude. I simply wanted the SAME cook from the previous day considering that would have been a huge TAB to be displeased. I can see if the cook that I requested wasn t on the grill, but he was. Not to mention, Owner got offended because I didn t want the young lady that I saw outside smoking with her Apron on to make our food. And I m not even gonna get into the other things, too much to type, but He was actually sitting outside and told me that he had his Apron on and he did.so I guess that s where the example comes from. I had a favorite cook at OUTBACK. Zach cooked my steaks perfectly and Management NEVER denied a request for a preferred cook. We simply went elsewhere and I would NEVER patronize that place again.

Whenever I try a new place to eat if they have a Philly Cheese Steak I order that which helps me level the field when comparing restaurants. OMG! this place has one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks I have ever had and yes I have been to Philadelphia many times where I have tried many. I also had a simple hamburger with all the fixing and there is nothing better than a charcoal burger, theirs was great! And the egg roll selection was eclectic, including surf and turf and guess what Philly Cheese Steak! The sauce for the egg rolls was a perfect blend of sticky sweetness and heat.

Yes you might have to wait a bit for your food, but its totally worth it.

Best burger I ve had in a very long time. Their seasoning is really good on the burger and fries. Also, you can ask for a cup of nacho cheese for the fries! I can never find nacho cheese in Richmond that isn t watered down but this place is gas also pretty cheap. $7 cheese burger!

We were in the area, and happened upon GMT thanks to a quick Google search. Had the shrimp po boy and philly cheese steak, and both were excellent. Also had the Crab Tots.. that dish is INCREDIBLE. The folks running the place were extremely welcoming. It may take a few minutes to get your food because everything is cooked fresh and served hot, the way it should be. The service and food were so good, and there are so many great items on the menu to try (dont get me started on the dessert menu), well DEFINITELY be back any time were in the area. Cheesesteak was phenomenal! I will definitely be returning. My husband had the surf and turf and he said it was great. He was only going to eat half but couldnt stop.

I am giving two start strictly because the quality of the sandwich. The fries were nice and the customer service was cool but the cheesesteak was not worth $10. All of the mayo and cheese somehow made it beneath the steak, making the bottom of the sub extremely soggy and greasy. It threw the flavors way off and made it hard to get through but I powered through since I did not want to waste $10. If the owner reads this please take time to rework how you construct your cheesesteaks because the one I got today was not good at all. In the photo you can see the bottom of the bread is almost see through.

I went in and was greeted immediately, the vibe was amazing. I splurged for the crab cake and it was heavenly. You get a big portion and it fills you up! I got a side of sweet potato fries and was surprised by the taste of savory seasoning, it was so good! I got a large strawberry lemonade as well in a container with muddled strawberries, which really rounded out the meal. I recommend this place wholeheartedly and I plan on returning soon!

This place is just wonderful. From the food to the staff. The food is prepared hot every time. You can tell that it is fresh food and not fast food. That the staff cares about what they serve. Vegetarian options: They have something to fit every person who walks in the door. Broccoli potatoes being one that I can think right off the top of my head. Dietary restrictions: They can work with you on your dietary restrictions. Don t want a bun no problem. Kid-friendliness: They offer chicken tenders and many options that kids would find friendly.

In town for the weekend and looking for a treat. We ordered the homemade ice cream in each flavor with waffle cones. Really really great tasting ice cream vanilla, strawberry and cookies n cream. The staff was very friendly and caring. Can t wait to come back.

Hands down best shrimp po boy I have had since leaving New Orleans in 1997. I keep ordering, never finding what I want. THIS was a game changer. Shrimp were fried to perfection, the sauce was excellent a perfect level of spicy, just a great presentation. My boyfriend got the steak and cheese and he said it was perfect as well. Sweet potato fries were great as well! Wished we had seen that they had fried pickles, so now we ll have to go back to try those! Friendly staff, great service, delicious food.

OMG !!!. I only went there cuz it was the closest restaurant to my hotel. I wasnt sure about it, so I just ordered the jerk burger. OMG !!! I cant remember the last time Ive had a burger so good. I ordered the jerk chicken cheesesteak to go. I thought I was going to need a wheelbarrow to get it back to my hotel. This thing must weigh 2 and 1/2 lb, and it is beyond delicious. I cant wait to get back to Richmond just to eat here again. BRAVO !!!!.

I ordered a jerk chicken sub but it was too hot to eat it. I normally order this sub every week but today it was unbeatable. I called to tell the manager about my experience and sadly to say the female on the line just made excuses as to why it was hotter today than usual. She never asked how could she correct it or offered to replace it with something else. I spend money there every week sometime twice a week but I will no longer patronize this business. The male owner is a very nice person but the female second OWNER as she referred to herself was RUDE. . They got my last dollar today. Never again

Got the Philly cheese steak and they forgot the cheese. It was edible given that I like meat but that s all it was just plain meat with some lettuce on top. Unlike any traditional Philly I ve ever head. Response to reply: False. I paid extra to add the lettuce. My cheesesteak should have come with cheese and been sautéed with onions and peppers at the very least. I shouldn t have to individually select each topping that s not accurate. In the future when you have several customers leave you bad reviews in the span of a couple hours saying something is wrong with your sandwiches don t try to blame it on them. Put a little more effort into your cheesesteak and take responsibility.

Stopped here while out of town on a work trip. Best cheese steak Ive ever had! Also got a piece of deep fried cheesecake that simply put it over the top. Wish I was in town for another night so I could hit round 2. 10/10 easy.

Damn good!! Finally found a decent unassuming corner spot in RVA. Tons of options and really nice staff. It s not too pricey but not really cheap either. Unfortunately as this place doesn t open on a Sunday or Monday we only got a chance to eat here once. If we could have gone again we would have done it was that good. Everything is cooked fresh so there is a bit of a wait but it is worth waiting for. We both had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and for me it was even better than the one we had in Philly last year! The fries were good, hot and plentiful. For dessert I had the banana pudding and it was excellent.

25yr Business owner here. Trying to support local.The lady that gave me my food didnt say hello or thank you once my food was given to me. She wore Glasses pretty sure manager or owner very sad, a thank you and a greeting goes a long way.Very sad! No excuse.

I like to try to review places fairly, especially those who offer friendly service. But my issue with my first experience at this restaurant is that I ordered two surf and turf cheesesteaks with tomato and lettuce added. As shown in the photo, there wasn t any shrimp to be found on either sandwich. I wasn t too upset because the sandwich was very flavorful, but I did pay about $5-6 for the shrimp. I reached out to management and I was told they would look into my order and make things right, but unfortunately I never heard back. Also the wait was about 15-20 minutes longer than what I was told (about 10 mins). So I ll have to give a three-star review all things considered. Your order may not be correct, but it will be tasty!

I ll tell you this place is a hidden gem. The cheese steak may have been one of the best I ve had in a long time. Great customer service. I ll definitely be patronizing this place often.

The jerk seasoning came thru at the end strong. Was mild and I was kinda expecting more of a punch tbh but I loved it once the flavor came thru the pattie. I enjoyed their broccoli loaded baked potato. It was very good. Large portion. I shared mine and there was still left over when we were both full. Their strawberry mango drink is a must every time I go. And I also got the sweet potato fries. I loved every bite. I even had a brownie for dessert. Every thing on their menu is a must try. I love this place!!! Def try their food when you get a chance. They aim to feed you I just wanted to give them more than 5 stars.

This food truck usually comes to my job every week (Tysons) and I swear my co-workers and I cant wait until it gets here. Food is on point most of time and your order comes up quickly. However last week when I ordered the service was not like it normally is my quesadilla was burnt and I waited I know for almost 20min when we only have 45min break annnnd on top of that the female who was taking orders obviously did not want to be there. And I swear I was shorted 5$ but if I was hey apparently they needed it more than me.Yes this was last week but Im saying this to say when you have the right ppl running an establishment everything goes alot better. The young lady they had at the front today(who I normally see anyhow) was so sweet and even tried to accommodate a special order I asked for unfortunately they didnt have a particular ingredient. The food was great! We got a Philly chicken and a crab cake sandwich and it was delicious! In store they say they re not fast food but fresh food but it didn t take that long at all. I waited for an hour on line at the food truck and when there was about 4 people left waiting in line they said they couldn t take anymore orders. Not to mention the food truck was supposed to be open until 5, and it was 4 when they said that. I was really excited to try the food too. It smelled really good though.

I really didnt like the Seafood Salad. It smelled & taste Fishy and the shrimp inside looked undercooked. The Jumbo Beef Hotdog was okay. I dont think I will eat here again.

Everything was seasoned to perfection! The seafood salad had shrimp in every bite! Those wings tho... Wooooo whew sweet and tangy with a hit of spice! Those grilled shrimps were seansoned with jerk seasoning they were big and juicy. Everything was awesome!

I can not recommend them enough! I can also tell you the giant corn dog was a hugh hit with my eleven year old ... Thank you all I will be looking for you again!

Grilled Meats and Treats is a tasty treat indeed! In my video, Adro Eats at Food Trucks No. 2 on my YouTube channel, Adro Eats Noodles, I try this truck for the first time and I love the grilled shrimp. Yum yum . I highly recommend eating at GM&T.

I waited in line for 20 minutes in 92° weather for food during my lunch break. I ordered a black bean burger (I am vegan) which they confirmed they had. First the young lady overcharged me but that was straightened out. I then waited 20 additional minutes in the hot sun for my pager to go off which it never did. When I asked about my food, the cashier asked the griller and she simply shrugged, made a face and said I dont know anything about a black bean burger!! I asked for a refund bc at this point I had to go back to work and see patients. The cashier was even hesitant to give me the refund but did. I walked away with NO food on my lunch break! There was no apology or effort to make it right. 1.) dont advertise for something you dont have or know anything about 2.) learn about good customer service 3.) Stop overcharging people and know your menu! I am chair of our social committee in my large neighborhood and thought about using them for events bc of the diverse menu but who knows if they really have what they say they do! Will not go to this truck again. I am still hungry and I wasted my time going here!
