I ordered the ribeye steak, and it was nothing short of perfection. Cooked to my exact specifications, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was spot on, and the steak had a delightful char on the outside that elevated every bite. Badhan truly made the experience memorable. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and professional. He checked in just the right amount and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. His recommendations were spot on, and his warm demeanor added a personal touch to the evening. If you re heading to The Boathouse, I highly recommend the ribeye steak and if you re lucky enough to have Badhan as your server, you re in for an exceptional dining experience!

Took my girlfriend on a romantic date here, our server was great, gave him a $50 tip. Food was amazing, I loved the NY strip, and the mashed potatoes were just perfect. I have always liked The Boathouse, but tonight was different. Unfortunately, our experience was soured by the waiter, who was rude and curt with our table the entire evening. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect, and this level of service was disappointing. It s disheartening when great food and ambiance are overshadowed by poor customer service. I hope this was an isolated incident, as I ve always enjoyed dining here in the past.

My daughter took me here for my 50th Birthday. Both of our first time, somewhere I ve been wanting to visit for a fine dining experience. The food was amazing and would have been even more flavorful is it was hot and not lukewarm. I believe the server Chris must been new and made it very horrible not using time wisely to bring our food out.The complimentary dessert had to be taken home in bag because we sat for almost 20mins. Get all the way home to what looks like Raw cookie dough cooked by the heat lamp. I m behind pissed I couldn t get that cute birthday dessert picture for my 50th. Ms.Brandy thank you for trying to turn it around.

While the food was good, the best part of our evening was our server Cee Cee. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience! Our granddaughter wanted to know what fruit came with her kids meal and since she didn t like melon Cee Cee made sure she got what she liked in her fruit cup. She also arranged for our grandson to get a second side of buttered noodles. Cee Cee was attentive to our needs as well, always checking back to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. We had the absolute worst experience. This was my first and last time at the Rocketts Landing location. We had a large birthday group. From the beginning the male server was rude. We waited an hour and half for our food to come out cold. The restaurant wasn t busy at all so there was no excuse for the food to come out cold. After eating we requested the server to bring out our cake. They refused to do so until our bill was paid. They had everyone s bill confused and this took several attempts to get it straightened out. Most of us used our phones to pay. The rest of the group physically provided their card or cash. After an hour of them trying to figure the bills out they brought out the cake. At this point everyone was ready to go. Instead of verifying on THEIR computers the servers decided to come back to the table accusing us of not paying our bill. I showed him my phone clearly showing the transaction stating approved he still tells me that s not right and proceeds to get the manager. The manager then comes to the table with an attitude says to my friend what s the problem with paying your bill. All of our bills were paid. We all had confirmation receipts as well. If you have a system that clearly doesn t work instantly you shouldn t offer it to your customers. You most certainly shouldn t accuse your customers of not paying without having all of the facts. As a business owner I would NEVER treat my customers with the level of disrespect that we received. If you want to be treated with respect or planning for a large group DO NOT choose this location. They have the worst attitudes and clearly cannot handle large groups.

What a great experience. Even without a reservation on a Saturday night, they got us sat right away. Thomas took wonderful care of us, made great suggestions and was just perfectly pleasant. The food was great, both of us ordered salmon - one simply prepared and one of their seasonal offerings and both were great! Even the manager stopped by to check in. Great experience!

I had a wonderful time here the boathouse I would like to get an extra special thanks to our waitress Brianna she went above & beyond to help pull together my proposal she s totally amazing!!

I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and after hearing all the great reviews of this place, we left feeling a little subpar. We told the server it was a special occasion and he didn t really make it feel special, especially after seeing the table behind us get a nice dessert for their birthday. We had to order our own desserts. Then he enticed us with 2 shots of tequila at the end of our meal, thinking maybe that was instead of a dessert, but we ended up paying for them after all. It felt like a normal mediocre dinner. The food was good. If we come back in the future it would only be for the food. I do think the service could have improved a lot. That s what makes the experience for us.

Brunch today was very disappointing. I have had brunch here many times. However, giving only 3 shrimp on the shrimp and grits is ridiculous. I specifically asked for my poached eggs to be soft and runny. They were hard. Our waiter was very pleasant but never checked on us to see how our food was. I drove 2 hours from Raleigh to meet family at The Boathouse and was very disappointed .

We sat outside and enjoyed the views. The food was very good and they give generous portions. It may be best to make reservations. We tried the fried pickles and jalapeño cornbread hush puppies as appetizers. The wedge salad with gorganzola cheese and scallops was excellent. We had a dozen oysters and had to take the maindish to go since we were so full.

Lovely place to grab a bite. Blu provided great service. The Island nachos left a little to be desired (grainy queso, tail-on shrimp, odd hot/cold flavor combinations), but the teriyaki pineapple rice was solid. Drinks are a bit pricey.

The General Manager Brandi made sure that we had the best experience and checked up on us multiple times , bartenders were attentive and drinks came out fast just WOW!!!

Very disappointing. If you like to wait 40+ min for water, this is the place for you. Made a reservation for 6 for anniversary date night. Showed up for reservation at 6, didnt get sat until 10 min later. Waited 30 min for a waiter at the table. Had to go find a busser to ask for some water at least. Waited another 10 min for it to come. Left at the 45 min mark. Never waited so long for a waiter to take our order, so we left before ever meeting our waiter. Cant even say we hated the experience because there was no experience to be had. Five stars goes to the valet for the excellent service Recommend the water. Was worth the wait Parking: Great valet. 12$

My husband and I were in Richmond and it was a beautiful day out so we made a last minute reservation. We ate outside. Beautiful view. Food was excellent. Sam, our server was excellent. Service was fantastic!! The fried shrimp dish was so good. And that Classic Zookie dessert is heaven. Their spicy mussels are underwhelming! Don t waste your money. Brussel sprouts were great.

Tinea and Sam were absolutely amazing servers!!! We had an great dinner.

When arriving to the rocketts landing location I was so amazed how many different sections they have in that location , we went for my sister birthday; Brandi and the staff was very friendly and polite The waitress Janiyah was so friendly she didn t mind our goofiness and she took great pictures of me and my family while sitting at the bar waiting on the rest of the parties the bar staff was very efficient and friendly
