First of all, why am I waiting at the speaker for longer than 5 minutes when there is only 3 cars in front of me. Next I get told to go wait at the third window, where I proceeded to wait for another 5+ minutes. By the time I ate my food and got to try my coffee I had realized they messed that up as well. I don’t appreciate waiting 15 minutes to get food and drinks that turn out wrong. You need to figure something out for staff or start giving free stuff to those you make wait for mess up on. Won’t be going here anymore
Charged full price for a bacon BLT, with no bacon. No everything bagels at 6:00 am, and no sugar added to a regular coffee. Had to wait 10 minutes for hash browns. What a great start to the morning. Won't be back.
I had a lovely experience at the drive thru this evening. A sweet young lady named Gabrielle served me and she was friendly and chatty while I got my order. I appreciate that even at McDonald’s you can still feel that we are in a small town. And a great reminder that a lot of these employees are high schoolers, and they are lovely kids just starting out.
Hey management, please do something with this location, it is sooooo disappointing……Drive thru is a mess here - 3 times I have received a take out bag with food inside that is half wrapped in its wax paper, toppings stuck to the bag… not on the burger, chicken wraps with sauce dripping all over the bottom of the bag…. Absolutely 0 presentation…no napkins….rude at the window to me when I’m trying to confirm my order….my order has been taken wrong each of those times…. I even confirm at the window and I’m still handed the wrong thing… cmon…. It doesn’t have to be perfect but at least a WRAPPED burger and my coffee poured right would be nice start….
I’ve been giving this new location a lot of grace because it’s just opened but my experience today was really disappointing. I waited forever at the drive thru before I even got to order. Then I was told to wait in a spot to get my food in which I again waited forever. Both times I watched other people that got there 10-15 minutes BEFORE me order and get their food. I didn’t even order anything that would take an extra amount of time. Large fries,cheeseburger,hamburger and nuggets. When I went inside to get it I wasn’t greeted - just told .. “your kid? They gave it to your kid..” And then I get home to find a half filled large fry!! Like what’s going on?!
This new McDonald’s location has interactive tables that the kids absolutely love, as they can play games right on the table. However, the self-service kiosk needs some attention. When I visited, it didn’t print out a receipt or order number, so I had to go to the counter to sort it out. The staff seemed a bit confused, but we eventually got it figured out. Despite this, the order was prepared quickly and efficiently. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
Upon entering this new location,I was immediately turned off by two things..............the layout of the parking lot, and the way the front counter is the only available counter. I understand that cashiers have been phasing out,and some people order on digital screens,but for those such as myself who value human interaction, this will create a lineup through the door during a lunch rush,and a second cashier should be a consideration. Now the parking lot.............It's an adventure in and of itself because there is nowhere indicating where to exit,accept to follow someone out. Arrows and signage would help.
Not even mad my burger looks like this, mad at the fact that one of the speakers wasn’t even working, sat in drive-through for 20 minutes, also maybe should put in some thought into construction. there’s a lot of tourists and everybody in their mother is going to come here because it’s the first McDonald’s in the area. Also make the place a little bigger, Or maybe just add another exit like any other place. Whoever built or had any say in the layout, should retire.
The worst McDonalds I have EVER used!!! Incredibly slow service and that s being kind. Obviously a very poorly managed operation!!!
3rd review They actually got my order right today, it was only a coffee and chocolate muffin but the muffin was so hard I couldnt even eat it. I just dont understand why this location has such a hard time 2nd review Went again today, I asked for no egg on my BLT, they took off the mayo. The one slice of tomato was green. They just cant seem to get an order right. 1st review You have to walk through the drive thru to get in and out of the restaurant, almost got hit on my way out as someone was in a hurry to leave. We ordered breakfast, my English muffin was cold. We waited at the cash register, no one came so we went to the self serve kiosk. Second time here, both times were bad
This location and staff are great, I appreciate those late night breakfast items. Everything I ve had at this location has been top notch
The absolute worst thought out parking lot on the face of this planet just terrible. Also, people exiting the establishment head back toward the parking lot. There is a horrible blind spot so it appears as if people are coming out of nowhere because you cannot clearly see them approaching , as for the food and service, its as usual for McDonalds

Brand new, clean. Digital board in 1 of the tables, very good for kids to play around on.
Edit- it really is disgusting that management is allowed to treat people any how and get away with it!! The manager starting her shift at 730am this morning is a boss (july27 2024) she opened the door and I could hear her in the drive thru yell, good morning everyone it was so nice to hear and so refreshing! If you want good staff then be a good leader! Unfortunately the women working the 2nd window yesterday who claims to go by the name Jess which later found out she lied as a manager on shift and shahid you can call me Jess and refused to give me her name for a mistake she took out on the poor young girl working!!! So far great job to everyone from building to opening and starting brand new!!!! Bravo Kid-friendliness: This is not a kid friendly McDonald s. There is. NO play area.
I just went in there 2 double quarter ponders with cheese but only got a regular quarter pounder, but charged the double price. It is almost double, too, so Im unsure why it is almost 40 dollars for half of what I ordered.
Went this morning for a sausage & egg mcmuffin, hash and coffee. Was asked to pull up to the waiting window despite no one else being around and made to wait for 10minutes. Ended up pulling back to the original window to ask whats going on just for an employee to yell I cant make the eggs any faster . Asked for a refund I was running late for work at this point, manager brought my food, i decided to just forgo the refund .they still didnt even get the whole order correct and left out the hashbrown. If I was told the wait would be 10+ minutes originally id have stuck to just a coffee but instead they stand around chatting amongst one another.

went for a late night snack at the location they said they re out of food they can just give me fries with ketchup and when i asked what pop do they have they said only diet coke and ginger ale that was very weird and i was a tourist in the location came with my friends at a B&B and were really hungry but no way they made us feel great with their services
Big Mac had only one beef patty on top layer, nothing on bottom.

when you go thru the drive-thru order 2 apple pies for the kids, get home and it says best before 2:06pm and its 2:45pm another time, the person at the window didnt leave any cologne in her bottle, if you gotta wear that much cologne try taking a shower and using soap
Drive thru,is A Joke,15 Minutes Wait time for 2 Hash browns after I paid for it.. Dont use it ,if youre in the Rush to go to work.. Awful..

Overall horrible experience everytime, never get order right, staff always seems confused, ALWAYS a wait even when only customer.
Ate there last week the big arch had so much sauce that I couldn t eat the burger, and the donuts were minimum two days old, plus packaged upside down. We will continue to go to garrison rd the convenience of the ridgeway location isn t worth the garbage they serve. Do better

First time here, just got parked for 15 mins for a single McMuffin combo at 930 AM. If you aren t ready to be open, then don t be open and waste people s time
McDonald s is very consistent at all locations. I had a slightly warm quarter pounder with cheese, cold McNuggets for my granddaughter and cold Big Mac for my husband. Cold fries all three. You are new to Ridgeway thought you would do better. I will return to my fast food of choice A & W always hot and fresh. I rarely eat takeout but very disappointed with your food. Staff however was very good

This location, on their second day, got my order right! I only point this out because it is mind blowing the number of other locations, that are much longer in the tooth, always mess it up. Sausage English Muffin Sub Strip Bacon ie, replace Sausage with Bacon. Easy peasy. Now why McD s does not just have a Bacon English Muffin on the menu in Canada is a question to be answered in the next Millenia. Let s not all collectively hold our breath. Congratulations to this location on your successful opening!
Not fond of the parking lot. And the Atmosphere . McDonalds used to a happy kid. Now its a depressed teenager. Staff was great though.

Very clean and quick service. Good layout of the parking lot and drive though. Definitely going to put the local Tim hortons out of business which is always short of whatever you try to order.

Food- by the time my boyfriend got my food home the ice was so melted in the drink I thought he got the food in forterie, fries where cold ( kinda glad I didn t get my son a happy meal because fries Where not soft anymore ) Service-the drive threw window was broken and instead of waving everyone threw we sat there for 5 minutes literally doing nothing Atmosphere- way to busy can t even park literally no parking at all, inside is jam packed

Okay Im a big McDonalds guy I love me some mcdickys but Ive been here twice the first time was okay mcnuggys fresh, fries were soggy and my moms filet fish meal was like eating a rock the second I ordered DOORDASH the fries were like I just took them out of the freezer and were stale and got a drink with a broken lid with no straw we got some work to do brothas because golly

Ordered a BLT, didn t have bacon in it. Cashiers don t speak English. Came back today and ordered a McDouble and it came without meat. Incredible
Ordered two egg McMuffins with no meat add tomato. When the order was finally finished, there were no tomatoes. Asked for the tomatoes and was given two green tomato slices with the core in. They were inedible. I am amazed that a team member would give tomatoes like that to a customer that was already disappointed. The focus of this restaurant seems to be on the busy drive through not dine in.
Food was prepared poorly yet took so long to make. Tasted disgusting and almost sour. Got a Big Mac with a poutine and it was freezing cold and got a random knife instead of a fork. I ve never had fast food prepared this bad. Never ordering from this McDonald s again.
Good that theres a mcdonalda but design of this place would have been better off being designed by a child. When coming into Crystal beach you cant see the McDonalds logo because of a huge tree, the rain gutter in the paved portion to the right of the building does not drain and just floods, the parking lot design is stupid, theres cut down curbs on the road side to indicate they were gonna do another exit of sort atleast for the drive thru/parking lot but the contractors just paved no exit of any sort. Parking lot is terrible, theres only 1 curbside pickup spot and for some reason its curbside pickup #3, the closest door to the parking lot isnt actually for regular customers its for mcdelivery which makes no sense, the order kiosks are on the opposite side of the restaurant from the counter, theres no actual space in front of the counter for a line as theres tables 3 feet from the counter. The drive thru entrance you have to do a complete 180 to even enter from the paved portion because of the poor design choice
Just got one of those Fire Cracker chicken sandwiches and some fries tasted off from the rest Ive had please change your fryer oil more often
I went to drive thru and I ordered a burger meal with large fries and drink but when I pulled the fries out of the bag once I pulled out of the parking lot I noticed instantly that it was like a little above half full and had no salt whatsoever like they just half ahh it and put it in the bag very disappointed.
Still not open a month late and counting
Good food I was there last week the service was great and the chicken nuggets were actually warm this time same with the fries and buger the only bad thing is when you look out the window you can see the road
