Love our weekly visits to trail sides, steak salad and the spicy garlic parm wings out of this world, I have never had chicken wings ever at a better establishment. You will not be disappointed, The atmosphere is awesome. The drink options are excellent, It's always a great time
First time there it was spacious so you don't feel crowded service was awesome our waitress I forget her name we were there on Saturday. She was very attentive friendly and her input into menu selection was excellent. We will be returning again soon.
I felt like I was an inconvenience being there as a customer. I came to visit my parents, from out of town, and took them out for dinner. We sat on the patio and let them know we were there, after a while of waiting we went to grab our own menus, then had to go back in to ask for service. The server came out with a look of disgust, like we were an inconvenience for being on the patio. When I went in to secretly pay and spoke to the bartender, she pretty much ignored me. Food was fantastic, the service has room to improve. Very disappointing to say the least. Won’t be back.
Still my go to place to have to fun or get together with friends. Not quite as good as it used to be but still a good spot and karaoke is always fun. It's hard to say reasonably priced, but it's in line with most other places these days. The food has always been very good for me

We really enjoyed ourselves here.🙌🏼Everything came out so fresh, and hot. The samosas had some heat to them, but the dipping sauce was sweet, for a nice balance. We also got the Fish and Chips, which was excellent. The French fries were upgraded to poutine, which came out delicious. Poutine is the Ishhhhh, especially in Canada. Their menu has a nice selection to it.😋First time here, and we will definitely be back again. 👌🏼☺️
Always a fun place with great food and friendly service!!! It’s been a while returning for me but they have a new menu printed and such as a new big screen TV instead of the projection. Tons of great wing sauce combinations. But…Fair warning the “ring of fire” wings are MUCH hotter than it reads and I even asked the server before hand about them but that didn’t prepare me unfortunately. ROF Has only 1x hot logo but Seriously deserves the 5x hot. Trust me tho…Anything with the “fuhgetaboutit” sauce in my mind…tread very safely. My stepfather is a hot scorching sauce fan and only 1 wing got him up out of his seat crying like a big baby. I pushed myself and could only eat like 3 in the basket. Anyways…don’t get TUFF…You’ll probably be tapping out. Pool table and other games in back awesome for groups and the kids. Pool table can be rewarding…insert old school trick. Sorry not sorry…Mens bathroom also has more games to play…Haha. See photo.

Sorry Matt, Sarah and Jackie but this is going to hurt. After not visiting the Trailside for over a year because of undercooked wings on 2 separate occasions, my husband suggested we go for a beer after working in the garden. One thing, Trailside always has cold beer on tap, and that experience today did not disappoint. That is where this good review ends. We arrived at approx 420 pm, with only 1 other table already seated and another just sitting, the restaurant was quiet. We ordered our beers and a serving of wings each. More people began to arrive while we waited....and waited...and waited. It was when three tables that arrived more than 30 mins after us got food to their table and we had been told it would just be a few minutes....a few hours might have been more accurate. After almost an hour we went to the bar to pay for our drinks and leave. The other servers were appoligitic....our server asked if everything was ok. Get a clue. Its seems that the days of good service at Trailsides from the likes of Sarah and Jackie are gone as well. We wont be back.

Had the best burger I have had in aLONG time here tonight. Loved the atmosphere. I had their house beer which is brewed by Niagara College and it was excellent. Gary and his staff that I met tonight, Raemi, Maddy, Kaylie and Sarah are very courteous and attentive of the customers, no matter who s has been serving them. Great atmosphere that feels like you belong. Looking forward burger special on Thursdays or Fish and Chips on Fridays!
There were 6 of us for brunch. We all ordered different breakfasts, and we all agreed it was delicious. Bloody Marys and Mimosas were yummy . Will definitely go back.

Just came back from there. First time eating there. My 2 friends and I had a great experience. Food was great, service was fast and friendly, nice atmosphere not rowdy at all. Highly recommend the Trail Side. We will go back.

Went on st.paddys day expected some Irish food but nothing but green beer nothing extra disappointing. That was our first time went with local friends they were disappointed as well

Staff is very friendly. Wings come in a variety of ways. You will find your favorite wing style. Fish tacos have an abundant amount of fish. Great place all around. Food

Edit: Still 5 stars. Great staff, great food and drink and even the clientele is friendly. Edit edit: Now in my opinion the best restaurant in the Greater Fort Erie. Best wings Ive ever eaten. Great selection of craft beers, great wings and exceptional service. Ive never once had a complaint or concern here. Just show up with a thirst or appetite and they do the rest.

The place to be at in Fort Erie. Fun St Patty s day! Extensive and reasonably priced cocktail menu. Menu is typical pub affair, ordered the samosas, not the most amazing ones I ve had but pretty good regardless. Unfortunately it looked like the samosas were the only vegan option on the menu - I appreciate not having to default to a plate of fries but adding more vegan options would really take Trailsides up a notch.

Popped in for a drink and a chill. A bit deceiving from the outside. However, upon entering, the staff were very friendly , good selection of food and drink, both draught and bottled.Great surroundings. Made us both very welcome. The only regret was, we didnt find it sooner. 10/10

Trailside was a welcome surprise. The food was spot on and the service was excellent. There were TVs everywhere so watching the game was not an issue . We used to go to Southcoast for wings but I think we will go back to trailside for another round of great food and great service.
Love this place. It has been a regular stop when visiting Ridgeway. Delicious food, excellent live music with an attentive and lovely staff. Worth checking out.

Enjoyed a great time with friends on the patio. Pleasant, low key atmosphere. The food was exceptional, wonton nachos were a real hit, ordered 2 more after the first one. Wings were unique and very flavourful. Overall we were very pleased. Will be back!

We love Trailsides so when I was planning a Birthday dinner for my Husband it was a no brainer that we would celebrate there. I reserved an area in the back which was the perfect spot for our party of 20. Our server Christine was a rockstar! Kept all the food orders straight, and kept the drinks coming! The bartender Tanya beyond helpful with all my questions about setting up, decorations etc. We had a lot of Blue Jays fans with us so she made sure the game was on the big screen next to us. We couldn t have asked for a better night. Thank you Trailsides
Went to trailsides for the first time, the food was really good but the service was terrible. If I could give zero stars for service I would. After getting our food, we waited at least 30 minutes waiting for our server to come back so we could ask for more drinks. She finally came back and then just disappeared. We felt very invisible and forgotten, very unhappy with the service that was provided and won t be going back

Great atmosphere and layout, very roomy with a cozy feel with a pool table and fireplace place in the back of the restaurant. The menu was fun with classic staples and some really adventurous options that are cooked to perfection. Ive been here 5-6 times in rhe past 4 years and they allways deliver great service and food.

Love the food at Trailside Bar And Grill. Burgers are fantastic. Have to try the wings which I heard were good. I also heard you can bring your dog so while Im walking on the Friendship Trail with my dog I can stop for beverages and food, how great is that?!
Great atmosphere, nice menu with lots of beers on tap. Its a sports bar experience. Staff could stand to be a little friendlier, at least based on the day I was there. Cool place overall.

Best wings in the Niagara Region. Update, May 2022. Still the best. Have tired the rest, this place is the best. My wife insists we drive 30 minutes one way to eat here. Asian nachos good, beers cold, burgers good, wings always large and in charge.

Food was great had the Bacon cheese burger which was 8oz and fries . Prices are reasonable and decor was sports oriented want to go back to try something new. Hats off to the staff.

Stopped on a whim with the family on the way home from Crystal Beach. Food was amazing, especially the jalapeno burger. Nice atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Service from Tanya was stellar. A cell phone in our party was forgot at the table and retrieved by staff to be safely returned as well. Big Thanks for that Trailside. We will absolutely be returning.

Enjoyed a good burger, chips and salad on the Saturday. I was most disappointed to find it closed on the Monday.
Portions are a hit or miss. Food tastes good though. Prices could be better on select items such as desert.
Matt and his staff are the most friendly and pay attention to all details. They made many great nights for my wife and I 5 stars and more if they let me lol

If I could post zero stars I would. I ordered take out tonight at 8:30... I was told it would take an hour to prepare a salad- after patiently waiting an hour I picked up a salad- but definitely not what I ordered. Check your food before you leave to avoid the drive back or the disappointment of arriving home and seeing something completely different from what you paid for. The waitress was very apologetic, but the manager who i briefly spoke over the phone with did nothing to help remedy the situation. Ive worked in restaurant/ bars throughout university and can empathize with a busy night.... but tables were almost completely empty. If I were the owner, Id speak to the manager about customer service etiquette.

Ordered take out last night. Potato skins, burger with onion rings and wings. This restaurant is a gem. You will love the burgers , onion rings were one of the best Ive ever eaten and the potato skins are to die for. Im one of those customs who dont rely on reviews but trust this review. You will love the food.

Staff and atmosphere were both great but the food was just mediocre. I had the Greek Mediterranean Wrap with fries and the wrap was rather tasteless and there was NO Tzatziki available to even order/pay extra for! The fries were kind of overcooked as well.
Great experience the food was delicious. We even ordered the brownie desert and I thought Id died and gone to heaven! It was yummy yummy! We have decided to make it now our weekly girl place to go. Highly recommend.

Ive been here a few times and each time has been pretty good. The food is delicious and the service is normally pretty good as well. The last time I went was on wing night which I expect to wait longer than usual given the fact that it is so busy. They have so many flavors of wings and a lot of other great options such as, burgers, poutines, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches and more.The food was really good, but our server forgot a few things. Everything was corrected in the end.
What a wonderful friendly bunch of staff! The food is great and the prices are very reasonable too Oh did I mention they have entertainment on weekends? If your in the area check it out, I m confident you will enjoy the experience.

Ive been here a few times and majority of the time, service & food have been great! Really like the bacon ranch burger with sweet potato fries & garlic aioli dip, mmMmmm! They make their own burgers as well. The place is a bit dark inside...Ive seen older couples use flashlights before to read the menu. The place is always busy, lots of TVs, big portions, decent prices....really happy its in Fort Erie
We spent 42.$ for 24 small wings,not impressed,we will not go back again..if you charge 12.$ for 8 wings..RIP off

Ordered takeout this past Saturday and was disappointed by the quality of food. We ordered 3 lbs of wings which were ok, as they we wet and soggy. We also ordered a large caesar salad that was COMPLETELY INEDIBLE and ended up in the garbage. Had it not been for my bf I would have taken it back. Probably wont be ordering from here again.

We rode past this place many times on our bikes but never had a chance to stop in but this night we did instead of eating in Fort Erie and are so glad we did. The waitress was very fast to meet us at the door and made an effort to find us a comfy table even with seating restrictions. The drink menu was great offering ciders and coolers instead of the usual boring beer selection like other places. Drinks came fast and I ordered the Matt burger with side salad and my gf ordered the Philly Steak salad. Service slowed down a bit at that point and it would have been nice to get my salad first, however the wait was worth it when the food arrived. My burger was grilled to perfection with a nice crunchy taste and the Matt sauce was a nice play on Mac sauce. My gf found the Steak salad excellent with (in her words) just the right stuff to make it tasty. Cons? My salad would have been nice earlier, instead I had to eat it fast before my burger got cold. I thought the burger looked low until I realized it didnt come with tomato which is puzzling why it was left out however that is how it is described on the menu. We were seated next to a loud speaker which in the beginning was a classic rock playlist which was a bit much, however the selection and my hearing did improve when it kicked into alternative. Last, on the way out through the patio it looked so cozy but as there were no heaters we couldnt have enjoyed it on our less chilly-than-usual November night. That will have to wait until next year which we will make it a point of being there to try the rest of the menu!
Still the best wings anywhere. Great selection of beer and the service cant be beat. Highly recommend you go there asap.
