Decent food...

Not everyone seems to be welcome in this restaurant, which is well referenced by Google. Too bad for them (for the customers), with all these beautiful people that I invited to come and visit the region.

Very disappointing experience. I had a chicken skewer, it was lukewarm and the rice was dry. My friend had a medium rare steak and it arrived sole of boot . There was as much meat as fat on his plate. He also paid an extra $8 for a garnished potato but with almost nothing in it, only sour cream and 2-3 pieces of green onions. We also waited 1 hour before getting our plates and the waitress didnt seem happy to serve us. Exorbitant price for the quality of the dishes. We do not recommend this restaurant if you pass through Rimouski.

I waited 30 minutes before the young lady came to see us to see if we wanted a drink. I had no starter...only the main meal. We were served our plates 1:30 after ordering service. So 2 hrs after I arrived. We were only 2 people. The tables around us were filling and emptying, but we...nothing The waitress didnt even come by to see if we were okay. I was about to leave when another waiter saw what was happening and decided to serve us even though it wasnt his table. I must say that the meal was very good and the meat excellent!! The waitress never came back to see us and I had to ask her for the bill three times. To finish it all off, the young lady didnt seem happy at all that we only left her a 15% tip. I already find us very generous to have given you 15%...because...very ordinary

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the clerk at the hotel where we were staying. I was told to get the fish & chips.... Im a fan of fish & chips and I love cod. What a disappointment. The cod fillets were way too fried and the fries were cold. Moreover, we had a front row seat for the show... The young people who were in the kitchen making food were shouting insults at each other. Beautiful atmosphere!. I dont think Ill go back there.

The service was quite dry and expeditious! The food was just limited but its disappointing for this type of restaurant which is quite expensive. Burger with fatty and rubbery meatballs. 1/2 dry rib, as if it had been boiled and flooded with sauce. I wont go back there! The whole group was disappointed with their dishes and the service.

You want to eat a steak that is not properly cooked and full of toughness, well you are in the right place!! In addition to the bad service looking stupid even its hard to beat!! In addition to making a mistake on the orders, he almost forced us to eat the mistake that I didnt want! Very disappointed never again!

Flank steak far too cooked, mesclun salad not fresh at all, beef tartare with pieces cut too large and tasteless, hot goats cheese salad completely unsuccessful. We will never go again. The pepper sauce was more than warm and gelatinous, the goat cheese on the bread and the pine nuts were cold. Poor quality food and expeditious service.

Worst steakhouse meal ever. The Ponderosas were better. Place was furnished like Rockin Johnies, bright and loud. Prices were at the top end ($48 rib steak). My steak and potato came out cold. Sent back (1st time in life). Steak was warm, once again potato so cold would not melt butter. other 3 prople at table had lukewarm. Cuts were definitely not Triple A. Table beside us, the same. Waitress and manager didnt seem to care. Manager had a big smirk when discussing. Definitely not worth the drive.

Everything was great! Incredible meat, rarely (if not never) have eaten meat of this quality in a restaurant! The welcome & service was also perfect! Little bonus: you can see them from the room preparing the meat and it makes your mouth water!!

Franchement j ai été un peu déçu. Service courtois mais sans plus, un peu expéditif à la limite. Mes fondants au parmesans étaient non seulement pas fondants mais froid à l intérieur. La qualité du b uf de ma brochette était ordinaire. La patate au four petite. La sauce aux poivres tiède commençait à se gélatiner dès que je l ai reçu. Je ne pense pas y retourner.

The service and atmosphere were good. On the other hand, the chicken skewer, I believe it came from Super C in packages of 4 skewers for $14, while the plate was $26 at the restaurant for a skewer. The taste, quantity of chicken and vegetables were the same as at Super C.

We were a group of 35 and we were warmly welcomed! Gabriel and his colleague were really professional and efficient! The food was tasty! Thank you for the great experience. We recommend!!

We really liked our experience. We had three starters, potato skins, onion soup with gratinated crouton and warm goat cheese salad. Followed by 6 and 9 ounce filet mignon s. For desert, lemon balotine and decadent chocolate. Everything was good except the sauce which was a little too salty. The decoration is very good as well as the service.

Terrible experience in every way. We had booked in advance for a friends birthday and when we arrived there were people at our table. We had to wait in the entrance of the restaurant and by the time the guest of honor arrived, the table was still not ready so that ruined the surprise effect. Once at the table, the service was very poor. The waitress took appetizer orders from only 2 people at a time and completely ignored my partner and daughter. Super slow service. We left LAX for a driving holiday on 8 August and have had meals in over fifty restaurants in that time. This was the best meal in that time. The rib steal Medium Rare was cooked to perfection, and my wife loved her salmon. The pepper seaoning on the meat and the sauce were complementary of each other. Josiana, our server, spoke good English and was excellent. We have a similar restaurant in Australia and this was on a par with that. Rimouski, you are lucky to have a great place like this usually only found in major cities.

To begin with, I was very poorly received by the meals apart from the salmon and the steak, the rice and the salad, nothing to taste. The service was really average, in short, really disappointed with our dinner.

Last night I made a great discovery during my stay in Rimouski. Bovino Grill an excellent restaurant with a very nice menu. The dishes were delicious, the prices were just right! Im already looking forward to visiting again.

We went there yesterday, and for my part it was one of my worst experiences in a restaurant. My main meal was beef tartare. In the side salad was a golf ball sized pile of rotting lettuce, hidden under some fresh lettuce. No apology from the restaurant, but at least I didnt have to argue not to pay for a dish, of which I had only eaten 3 bites of tartare. Besides this incident, the 3 other members of the table found their dishes OK, and the service was courteous. However, I will not return there.

Good experience! We were there for dinner, the place was full but the service was still fast. The atmosphere was good and the place is nice, I would definitely go back. I ordered 1/2 rib and filet mignon The cooking was as requested and very tender. We were very satisfied with our evening!

The service was OK. I ordered a 09oz beef mignon and the cooking was perfect and the price affordable. The baked potato was average (the sour cream was not great). The only downside is the separation of the tables.We were stuck on 2 strangers less than 30cm separated by a transparent plastic sheet.Super awkward and impersonal like setup.We hated this aspect but for the rest it was good.If you go there ask for a bench to avoid this inconvenience.

Unfortunately a totally deplorable experience. 60 minutes of waiting before offering us a simple aperitif Beer was a tablet Another 45 minutes to get our meals, an overcooked steak with no rest time, lots of blood on the plate, another undercooked one (the waitress reversed the plates), the baked potatoes had to pass the day in the oven, totally dried and brown inside! A strip fillet with 30% fat and a plate of cold pasta. I look for something positive about this establishment, but nothing good! For a butchers shop its a shame, if we just know how to make burgers we should limit ourselves to it!!!

Great service and excellent meal

The restaurant is pretty, a nice atmosphere for a steak house. The menu is very diverse and interesting I tried the fried squid as a starter. The presentation is very beautiful, the spicy mayonnaise is excellent and the parmesan shavings on the squid give a good taste. I tried land and sea with the 6 ounce filet mignon and lobster tail. My 4 stars comes from the fact that the lobster tail was covered with cheddar or mozzarella cheese, I dont know. The filet mignon is cooked excellently and the matchstick fries as well as the pepper sauce are excellent too. The service is also excellent. I didnt have the chance to try other items on the menu.

The service was long, due to the many customers, the staff is courteous and the meals are good. The comfort of the chairs (light) leaves something to be desired. I give 6.5 for my dinner.

The potato skins as a starter were cold, clearly reheated.... The salmon tartare was the worst Ive eaten. The pesto is not well balanced with citrus fruits and the tartare tastes like nothing. The creme brulee was also too cold. On the other hand, the decor is beautiful, the service is excellent. The burger, homemade mayo and fries were good!

The worst meal experience you can have in Rimouski, the waitress yelled at us because my meat was not cooked as I had asked and I waited 20 minutes for it to be cooked again while my boyfriend ate his ribs alone and I was looking at it... when I asked, she shouted at me that a new cook makes mistakes and that tonight fell on us! She shouted no excuses, no embarrassment, no nothing! Dont go there if you dont want to be treated like this! In addition neither manager nor responsible! The waitresses were drinking at the bar (the blonde) and the other was counting her tips! Horrible ! And the toilets were also dirty in times of Covid! Brief ! To forget

We stopped in Rimouski for the night, and we chose this restaurant for dinner. We were made very welcome, and the meal was delicious! For meat lovers this is a really good place. The cuts of meat are very good and the cooking is mastered, and the plates generous. I highly recommend if you stop in the area :)

The shrimp and salmon skewer duo was really very good. The New York strip steak was quite tender and cooked well. We took a butterfly skewer as an extra, it cooked very well too. The waitress was great. We will return there.

we went there for dinner with my mother who raved about this place. She had been there 2 months back. It started with forgetting about my soup. My mother s calamari tasted nothing like calamari, my onion soup was so salty I couldn t finish the whole thing. We didn t say anything. For the main dish my husband ordered a bone-in rib steak... got a reg rib and then took our plates away to see who had his steak?? I had even started on mine. So we waited for the new rib steak to get a nearly rotten t-bone steak that smelt bad. We did not pay for the plate but it should have never been served. My steak was so done it was grey and I had asked for medium. The waitress was nice but clueless. Will not return for sure.
