Chef Fred Poutinerie in Rimouski

Small place. Not many seats. But THE poutine!! The best in the region in my opinion. Really lots of choice. Gluten-free sauce available. A little pricey, but I think its worth it.

Very ordinary cheese, okay sauce and horrible fries. Probably popular for its 10,000 choices of poutine, but start by focusing on making at least one good classic. Please do not trust the 4.8 stars on Google.

If you go to Rimouski AND you like poutine, you have to go to Fred Poutine. I had the Trip food and everything was almost perfect (crispy bacon, pogo pieces, popcorn chicken pieces, cheese, sauce and home fries). My only downside is that the fries were undercooked, they were a little crunchy. But once is not usual I guess. The small portion is perfect for one person (usually its always too big). As for the atmosphere, its very simple. Lets say its more for take out. Its a little expensive, but poutines are luxury now I love the logo Parking: Parking on the side of the restaurant free, but very little space. However there is ample room for street parking.

In terms of food, excellent for sure despite the quality of the fries as desired. Otherwise, the person at the checkout who calls my partner my beautiful constantly and the very cold (and literally) and speed metal atmosphere is disgusting. Also, no recycling? Too expensive to wash the dishes instead of giving Styrofoam cups? Aluminum is infinitely recyclable and we put that in the dump because one is too expensive. Wow. Side note, all your frames left crooked are aggressive. Well Im done I think, kitchen props tho, its not against you.

The only downside for us was the portion of sauce that was a little too abundant and the fact that the spicy poutines werent really spicy. Never mind, my pro tip is to ask for just a little sauce and thats ketchup! Enjoy your food. Parking: Few places in the restaurant, you have to find a little further on the street.
