Un lieu unique avec une grande gamme de produits confectionnés sur place allant de plats raffinés aux variétés de petits pots magiques (confitures, marinades, etc) Approche épicerie européenne en allant au permis d'alcool pour se rassemker en petit groupe ou en amoureux pour ripailler et picoler sur place. Raffiné et de bon goût !
C'est toujours un plaisir de se retrouver dans l'ambiance de l'ardoise. Le service est impeccable, le vin choisi par Yann est toujours parfaitement adapté à ce que j'ai envie de boire et la nourriture est raffinée. L'inconfort des bancs me force à partir beaucoup plus rapidement que j'aurais voulu.
Je suis passé pour enfin essayer leur gâteau aux fruits, mais fut distraite en voyant qu'il y avait un burger avec de la viande du Bic, et ce fut toute une joie! Puis, le gâteau aux fruits, ce fut une première fois que j'en mange un qui n'est pas un cheap d'épicerie et ce fut une vrai révélation. People wouldnt hate so much on fruit cakes if thats what they tried or saw(because just by the looks and ingredients, its very enthralling). Anyway yeah, this is the best i have eaten since my move to rimouski for sure

We passed by here, and it was a lovely little boutique almost in downtown Rimouski that has a little bit of everything: pre-prepared food, drinks, etc. and their homemade cookies and the magic square are so good!! Got some for the road, and every bite was a treat, worth the calories!! We also found the du bic pedal jam here; as a tourist , it’s always lovely to find local products and gems!

J’ai contacté L’Ardoise par internet pour faire livrer un panier de produits gourmands pour des amis qui viennent de s’installer à Rimouski. J’ai eu une réponse très rapide et une proposition de produits à ajouter au panier simplement formidable! Ils ont aussi ajouté le message que j’ai écrit et ils ont fait une livraison en moins de 24 heures. Je vais vous visiter c’est sure quand je serai à Rimouski! Staying in Rimouski over night, we ate there on June 21, 2012 based on other Internet reviews and it is an excellent restaurant with an interesting menu, far more imaginative than anything we found in Quebec City.

Beyond their cuisine which is always original, tasty, comforting and generous, there is a passionate and endearing family who loves people! What a joy to discuss wine with Yann (sommelier) who always gives good advice and is so creative! He has the feel ;) You were lucky enough to be served by Émylou you are surely under the spell too! Karine is a beast of cooking a passionate one and what can we say about her sense of Humor! With their associates they form a fiery team and I recommend their services to everyone without any hesitation!

What a nice place! Everything is homemade with local products. We want to buy everything!! And the bosses are super friendly. Lunch on site, takeaway meals, selected wines; everything is there.

Best place in town for a quick lunch, or for good culinary products (cold meats, sauces, preserves, etc.). The shop section is also super cool! We make great finds there every time!

Careful cuisine, attentive service, good atmosphere. The excellent foie gras with pear, served with a green salad with lemon is a perfect combination. All services were excellent. Good choice of wines by the glass. Excellent and unexpected, great quality, attentive and friendly service. All the courses were lovely. The foie gras with pear was perfectly complemented by a simple green rocket salad. Rivals restaurants from the Plateau Montreal in quality.
