140 Av. de la Cathédrale, Rimouski, QC G5L 5H8, Canada
Easygoing cafe offering mostly crepes, plus quesadillas & salads, plus a bar & a snug patio.
Enjoyed an excellent lunch for two this week. Outstanding curry crepe, lovely wine and beer. Waitress very good! Casual atmosphere..highly recommend.
Great price, great food, any meal any time! Really great atmosphere and space, staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious and really well priced! Cannot recommend enough, very much worth a stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Loved this place! The food and service were outstanding! Note, if you want to go, make a reservation if you want to eat inside. We arrived at lunch time without a reservation and was told it was a 90 minute wait. But they had a couple of small tables outside, and when we asked about those we were seated immediately. My friend ordered the Lord Blue crepe with ham, spinach, apples, blue cheese and cheese sauce. I ordered the salmon Benedict with smoked salmon, asparagus, a sunnyside egg and hollandaise wrapped in a crepe. Both came with a delicious chickpea salad. Both crepes were incredible. The only disappointment were the raspberry muffins I got to go. They were super heavy and dense.
bustling place with antique decor. I was blown away by the portion size as well as the quality of the food for a low price. It offers a great bang for the buck dining experience. I got the crepe "la totale" as well as the american breakfast "le retapeur". The crepe is filled with chocolate spread enriched with raspberry and bananas as well as cream. The texture of the crepe is crunchy at first then it becomes soft and chewy. "le retapeur" had well toasted bread, tasteful eggs, quality cheese and a light strawberry/raspberry sauce. The service was very friendly and accommodating.
I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant that left me utterly delighted. The mouth-watering crepes they serve are a true culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor. However, what truly sets this place apart is its unique feature—an expansive world map where you can pin your location of origin. It adds a personal touch to the dining experience, creating a sense of connection from around the world. The combination of delectable crepes and the interactive map makes this restaurant a truly memorable and delightful destination
Excuse the photos, as I'm not really sure the best way to take a photo of a crepe! The food here was excellent. Every bite was full of flavour, and the serving size was pretty generous for the price. I was left very satisfied after eating here. I ordered La Crêpe à Steeve, and I was really happy with how much of the ingredients could be tasted in each bite. The only note I would have is that it felt like our server left us for quite awhile. While she was very nice when talking to us, we waited quite a long time to order. When we finished our food, we waited a long while to order our dessert, but rather than ask us if we wanted dessert, they brought the bill. We then asked for dessert first, and taking our order for dessert took some time well... Both our meal and our dessert came quite quickly after ordering, so it was kind of frustrating to be made to wait so long just to order. Finally, when we did finish our dessert, it took us over 15 minutes of waiting to get our final bill, despite us trying to wave down our server. By this time, the restaurant was quite slow, so it was quite frustrating to be sitting there waiting. Again, she was very nice in all of our interactions, but the length of time it took for our server to check in on us was a bit much. Definitely dropped a 5 star experience to a 4 star. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!
Nice little place to enjoy delicious crepes. They are vegan friendly as you you can "create your own". Their menu has savory as well as sweet items so it caters to both crowds. COVID measures are in place and followed here.
Recommended to us by a helpful local the atmosphere was cosy on a rainy afternoon and the service was friendly and helpful. I had a Mexican quesadilla which was well cooked and presented with good accompaniments. Very tasty overall. A very pleasant meal with an imaginative touch.
I went to eat Monday November 25 around 11:00 with a friend, we each had Steeves crepe. It was really so good (stupid in the head!). You will see me again often, friends!
Whether for breakfast or dinner, its a must-see place.
Excellent!
Very nice place for a leisurely lunch, I highly recommend stopping by, the pancakes are very interesting and daring. I ate the canardon, an explosion of cheese, the ingredients are very fresh and the chef is very diligent and a perfectionist, which makes the difference in a dish in my opinion. However, I was there alone at the counter and tried to strike up a conversation with my server and he didnt seem interested at all in engaging in conversation at all. However, he was not at all in the rush. Next time Ill know this isnt the place for that and go to a table instead.
Beautiful place, nice decor. The service is excellent and courteous. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals; soup of the day, walker crepe, Bombay buckwheat crepe, La Total crepe and muffin. The mocha coffees and cappuccino were very good. We recommend! Vegetarian options: Good choice of veggie pancakes.
The crepe choice is super interesting and delicious!! And the price is very reasonable for the portions and quality.
Nothing to do with our Breton pancakes but they are excellent.
Excellent and consistent pancakes. The service was long the day we were there but really a very good quality restaurant! Be careful it can quickly fill up.
Lots of pancake choices. Very good, but very slow service.
When my very patient hubby comments on how slow serve is - then its really slow. My initial plan was to order a crepe dessert after my main but I couldnt wait another hour to get it.
Crepe was delicious.. I created my own with egg, veggies and cheese sauce.. ate it before taking a photo, it was so good .. thank you for feeding me LuvRK Vegetarian options: Excellent variety, very delicious, you dont miss the meat...
The best meal of our vacation! Fresh, tasty, large portions, very nice staff!
Very charming little unpretentious restaurant. Beautiful menu. Questionable seafood crepe. Its hard to see whats inside!!
A big shot of !!!
Wide variety of choices on the menu. Delicious pancakes and impeccable service.
Simply beautiful good affordable Vegetarian options: Meatless and cheeseless option Dietary restrictions: Buckwheat flour option
We went to this restaurant without an appointment and they were able to accommodate us despite a lot of traffic. The crepes and coffees were good.
Vegetarian pancake, delicious.
very disappointed not to be able to give a 5 star to a restaurant which was, for many years, my must-visit! I dare to hope that Im not lucky but during all my last visits (both take-out and in the dining room), there are ALWAYS errors in my orders (super flat when you get home and missing ingredients are charged). examples: Last month, our waitress flipped our groups crepes to the table. We only realized this when we started eating, so be careful if you have food allergies. This weekend, we waited over an hour to have our plates served and there were errors in our orders (and to the great dismay of my family: no butter on the toast? lol). I had asked for an egg turned on the top of my pancake and finally it was inside and slimy as if it were raw. If I hadnt already waited over an hour for my plate I would have returned it but we couldnt wait to leave. Please make crepe chignon great again </3 </3
To please you, this is the right place, filled pancakes and welcoming staff.
A must!
Pancakes too thick and folded like tacos. Too much cheese sauce, lack of finesse. Very long service.
Excellent
Ordered eggs in the pancake twice in a row and the white was not cooked
The cleanliness of the premises leaves something to be desired (toilets, water glasses, cutlery and napkins on the floor as we arrive in a section - the back of the restaurant - which has obviously not been used all day.) The extra bench I got for my daughter was also dirty. Table that shakes, the sugar container which contains 75 sachets of fake sugar, no so-called normal sugar. Brie was missing from our plates. The service is long (despite a smiling waitress at least!). In short, my friends and I will unfortunately not go back!
Beautiful place, with friendly staff, very good choice of background music and the food is delicious, good value for money. The only advice is that it s very popular so for a brunch, it s better to book .
Great food but the service was quite slow. The waitress was very nice. It was a monday night. I would go again for take out/pre-ordered food. Vegetarian options: vegan option for crepe if you ask
Really good and Family Friendly!!!
Excellent crepes, both salty and sweet. The order was taken quickly, we waited a little to receive them. Dessert had to be ordered while we were eating because the kitchen was closing. The waitress reserved the hot desserts for us.
Good pancake alert
This is a place to discover Super interesting lunch
Very good service, very good food, very good price, but there was a smell of chlorine throughout the restaurant. I went out, my eyes were irritated. Dishwashing problem perhaps? To be settled in any case!
I ate a delicious ham pancake!
on August 21, 2024 I went for lunch at 8:15 a.m., very nice atmosphere, very clean, quality price and good portion, my service execrable by a waitress who seemed jaded by her work, too bad, so I hope you dont have the waitress with an earring in the lower rises as a waitress.
The service, the food, the location, everything was impeccable! What a great find! I had the it s mine crepe and it was excellent.
Great discovery during a stop in Rimouski. Your location is worth the detour. Your pancakes are delicious!
Very pleasant staff. The food is good. My personalized crepe was delicious.
Still so good. A tradition when we pass through Rimouski.
Baladi ... chickpea salad
Excellent pancakes that I have eaten so far! Succulent! The service is impeccable and smiling in a slightly retro but very beautiful atmosphere. Easy parking. Ill go back to try some more!
Interesting veggie options!
Warm atmosphere and EXCELLENT food, a small restaurant that will make you a detour!
Super nice atmosphere, the waitresses are very welcoming and the food is delicious
Very good crepes. Warm and really nice staff. Unfortunately not enough staff. Very long wait before seeing the plates arrive. Damage.
Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy our 2 smoked salmon pancakes: a good hour of waiting after ordering them, our smoothies finished a long time ago, and the waitress who came to see us twice to tell us that arrived in 10 minutes - without ever arriving - got the better of our patience. We left our table and paid for our smoothies when we saw that customers who arrived 30 minutes after us were already served. Damage!
A place to really enjoy good food that should not be overlooked if you go to Rimouski.
Amazing food.
Very nice place to share good pancakes, impeccable service, tasty homemade dishes and drinks! Remember to book if you come in a group Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available
Excellent, affordable, portions just enough to not leave any behind or feel like you ate too much. A must for lunches in Rimouski.
Really nice restaurant with unique offerings in Rimouski. I recommend it to you. Vegetarian options: Offers vegetarian crepes and you can create your own crepe.
Very happy to have visited this restaurant during my vacation. You will return there! Vegetarian options: I had the crepe damour which is prepared with veggie pâté and vegetables, accompanied by seasoned chickpeas.
Great place, excellent service, good portion, quality ingredients, competitive prices
Very good especially the crepe
My favorite restaurant in Rimouski!
Great, well-filled pancakes for dinner, comforting atmosphere and great service! Choco Maya for dessert a real delight!
Really a place to discover! Well done to the team
Ultra generous crepes, and you can make them yourself at a very affordable price
Delicious and affordable, easily the best restaurant around Dietary restrictions: Perfect for those allergic to gluten
Beautiful atmosphere, fast service and very good meal.
Everything was perfect! Great find
Very hearty, good and easy to eat with 5 and 6 year olds. Parking: INDIGO parking right opposite Kid-friendliness: Staff very understanding with young children.
For years we only came for lunch, the dinner experience was just as good. Wow! Parking: Directly in front of the door.
Unique! Warm atmosphere and always welcoming and smiling staff! The place is perfect for meetings with friends (you can take the time to catch up without any problem )! You are alone? No problem, there is also space at the counter if there are no more tables available! The location of the restaurant allows you to go for a walk in the city center or on the promenade after our good meal! Otherwise, you also have the possibility of stopping there and having a coffee to take away and while you are there, I suggest you also have an excellent raspberry chocolate muffin
Excellent value for money. The Bombay crepe is delicious!
Excellent pancakes! Excellent value for money!
Thank you, nice atmosphere, good food
Superb welcome in this friendly restaurant, in the heart of Rimouski, with delicious and hearty crepes. I particularly enjoyed the Forestière and ate 4 in 4 days... A must-see in this beautiful city.
The best place to eat a crepe meal. Prices have increased and the composition of ingredients has changed with the new owners but it remains the best value for money Vegetarian options: You can make your own crepe Kid-friendliness: Suitable seat and very family-friendly place
Best sangria in town! And what can we say about the staff, the service is impeccable! Best restaurant in Rimouski, at an affordable price!
The food is nice since you can customize what they give you. The service is excellent
Order a egg breakfast and ask for egg overeasy but theyu were overcook. bacon over cook Parking: On the street 1 car no other place available
Excellent restaurant, excellent service.
It was excellent! !
Very beautiful place, calm and relaxing atmosphere, good quality food, best crepe in town!

Delicious as always!
The pancakes are really delicious! Remember to book in advance, as it is often very full.
A must-see in Rimouski! Kid-friendliness: Extra benches, secluded and quieter corner in the restaurant.
Very good!
A real favorite. I had a blast and had a great time there alone.
Very good and good.
Succulent meal!
Cute little restaurant. Excellent pancakes, very good soup. Good wine suggestion, plus they have Quebec wines and the prices are very affordable. I recommend
Very good address, both for breakfast and dinner...
Amazing we will come back
The atmosphere and service was excellent but we (3 adults 2 children) were very disappointed. Overcooked egg, overcooked pancake. Specification not respected (without butter on the bread or bacon ask for soft and it ends up overcooked) Unfortunately this restaurant has a lot of potential, a good menu and a nice atmosphere. But we will not return again because the food is essential in satisfaction.
Good atmosphere, delicious meal, respectful staff.
We had the seafood and the duck crepes. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would recommend and would go back anytime.
Exceptional food. Super great pancake
Service a little long, the servers seem to have a lot to take care of at the same time. The plates remained on the stove for about 15 minutes before being served to us. However, the food was delicious, a surprising mix of flavors. Despite the portions being a little smaller than what we are used to, we ate very well!
Excellent crepe, but the cashier was cold as an ICEBERG: no smile, no reaction, she looked like CHURCHILL. #SI_TAIME_PAS_TON_METIER_CHANGE_le!!! Fortunately the young lady who served me was super FINE.
Excellent lunch a perfect crepe with a generous filling. Courteous and friendly service. The terrace is small but not overused, we have space without having to eat our neighbors plate.
French friends who liked crispy Breton crepes: move on... Very disappointed by the crepes (rubbery and bland dough...) filled with sauce, we forget the ingredients in them... on the other hand: nothing to complain about the service
Good service and excellent food. Make a reservation before going. Parking: Parking available in front of the church
Following recommendations from local friends, I was unfortunately disappointed Firstly, I must admit that I was expecting to have beautiful strawberries from Quebec in the strawberry crepe especially since we are in the middle of the season. On the other hand, it was frozen strawberries without flavor... Then, the waiter dropped the contents of a very hot dish on my husband, he apologized but the restaurant never offered to pay for this dish.. of course they replaced it but all the same, that caused a lot of inconvenience to my husband. The crepes were good but nothing extraordinary unfortunately. The waiting time for 4 dishes (2 children and 2 adults) was 45 minutes, a little long for young children
Very nice place, friendly service and excellent food. The coffee is delicious
Very good and at a good price. Gluten-free options.
What can I say wow, it was really booooo. I would go back every week without hesitation if it was in my city!
Very nice place, the food is excellent and the portions perfect
Very very good in what they do Service is excellent and so is the relaxed atmosphere Food
Place was packed at 9am. Kinda tells you how popular (and delicious!) It is. A MUST GO for your breakfast/lunch/munch and run needs
Excellent unpretentious restaurant. Perfectly meets customer needs.
Delicious crepes and quesadillas. The flavors and arrangements are original. The portions are generous. We even give you the option of building your own crepe.
The crepes were excellent. The service, less so. We waited several minutes before being assigned a place, even though the room was almost empty. Once seated, we had to wave 4-5 times to the waitress to come take our orders. She was chatting with her colleague. Our meals arrived quickly. Awesome! But from that moment on, our waitress literally disappeared. For 25 minutes, no one came to see us to take our dessert orders, clear the table or check that we werent missing anything. I reiterate that five tables in the room were occupied, including ours. We ended up getting up to get service. The person we spoke to told us that our waitress would come to see us?!? She was still invisible. Without having had desserts included in our meals, we opted to pay and leave. Our complaints to the two servers still visible seemed to be taken with a grain of salt. Very disappointing experience! We will definitely not go back.
Succulent. Very varied menu
Kid-friendliness: This place has kids menu and infant chairs. Food
Varied choice of pancakes. Well-filled pancakes served with seasoned chickpeas. Recommendations to book in advance. Only downside: very long service. 45 minutes to be served...despite a large team in the dining room and in the kitchen. We asked for extra in one of the crepes which was not added. But after pointing it out, they didnt count it.
Delicious Congratulations
Seriousness, quality service, superb atmosphere and food so good that your taste buds cry with joy.
I made my own crepe and I have no regrets! Its worth booking because everyone wants to go.
More than questionable cleanliness, presence of filth
Nice that you can choose your ingredrients for your crêpe. Unfortunatly our crêpes came too cooked, so it was completly dry... Crêpes are not supposed to be like this! We were seated at the bar so we saw one of the cooks put bacon on a crêpe and then tried to remove most of it (of course I saw few pieces left) to add salmon instead! As a vegetarian I dont really trust them for my plate now!
The neighbors crepe lacks a little taste, but I tried the 28/11 (tasty!!) and the seafood one (rather good). Dietary restrictions: For $1.75 more, you can have a buckwheat pancake, therefore gluten-free
The crepes were of exceptional quality. I highly recommend you try it. The atmosphere was also very pleasant to start a wonderful day and weekend.
Very good restaurant, the crepes are different and delicious. I really liked the pancake with goat cheese, honey and nuts. Great discovery for a very reasonable price.
Super friendly place. I had a La Marcheuse crepe I think... Succulent The dessert crepes are just as good. I recommend if you like Crepes. Oh yes! I had a ginger petillan as a drink. If you dont mind, its excellent but be careful, its a little strong.
Excellent crepe, and very good atmosphere. A beautiful place that is absolutely worth the detour.
A small bone found and bitten into my pancake for Steve. Its scary to continue but it was good
A very nice place for a lunch (breakfast) with fresh products and a really welcoming service that really seeks to satisfy customers
We were placed at an outside table, the waitress completely forgot about us, after 20 minutes of waiting without having had the chance to order we simply left. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible
Booked for 8pm on a Monday evening. Few tables taken but placed in the second room at the very back. So no atmosphere. 20 minutes to take the order. Then 35 minutes between ordering and serving the dishes. Result kitchen closed to order dessert. It s stupid. In short, the Bretons are always copied, but never equaled!
It was good, and it matches the description! I didnt really like my crepe but that was more down to my personal taste. So I recommend the place
Pleasant atmosphere, small terrace and very reasonable prices. Possibility of making your own crepe! I gave 4 stars and not 5 because the waiter took my order wrong and forgot my hollandaise sauce... I had to go ask for it myself... luckily he still apologized! However, a good part of my crepe I ate without sauce... I can tell you that it was a little dry. Vegetarian options: Some veggie options! Dietary restrictions: Possible to make your crepe gluten-free (buckwheat flour)
One of the best crepes Ive eaten in a long time!
Good value for money, the pancakes are inexpensive. The staff is adorable and attentive. The place is cute. The only thing that I didnt like was the cleanliness of the place. Where our table was located there were bad smells and the toilets could have been cleaner. Otherwise its really great
Superb place for crepes that are both savory and sweet.
Well-filled pancakes. Good value for money!
I didnt like the crepe batter, too dry and lacking in taste for the buckwheat, too thick for the sweet crepe. Too bad, the place is nice.
Very good and welcoming
Fantastic pancake meals and DESSERT.
Excellent, the mysterious one to absolutely taste!!
Very good creperie
Came here during our visit to Rimouski due to the positive reviews. Did not disappoint! We came a bit earlier than the Sunday brunch rush, luckily we were seated right away since it filled up pretty quickly! We ordered one sweet, and one savoury crepe. Both were delicious. We would certainly come back if we are ever in the area. Staff were friendly, they took note and were very considerate that we are primarily English speaking and asked if we would prefer an English menu! Great overall experience
Really very disappointed ..the pancakes were made from frozen fruit, strawberries + raspberries, so soggy and soft on the plate. Too expensive a price for such a dish. Damage ! As a result we had impeccable service.
Kind and friendly service that is hard to find anymore. Our server was fantastic. I hope we get to visit again.
Happy pancake! And good latte
Very good variety of pancakes from breakfast to dinner and desert. What can I say about this entry that I devoured! Smoked duck!
We went with friends from outside...they loved it
Excellent crepes, warm atmosphere, courteous staff. I definitely recommend.
