I took the indecisive frozen hard meatball..the pasta al dente perfect..but tasteless shrimp alfredo and more 3/4 bolo and 1/4 alfredo..very bad bolognese.. canteen...

Very nice renovations done. A plus for the atmosphere. Food always above average. Great portions! Small disappointment: only 1 choice of wine by the glass for the red. 6 oz for $13.50, its a shame, I would have liked it but its too expensive. When paying the bill, the tpv automatically offers us 18%, 20 or 25%. But where is Charlie, the 15%? Especially since the service was good but not wow. Despite this comment, the restaurant is worth the detour. Its really good and the decor adds to the experience.

This restaurant is a great discovery! Ambiance-wise, the decor is stunning. The concept of menus presented on a newspaper is very original and makes reading easier. The fact that these menus are already on the table when we arrive allows us to find out about the dishes from the start of the meal. Bravo to them for this innovative idea! As far as service is concerned, absolutely nothing to complain about! The waitress was extremely friendly, and the service was quick. I loved it, its always a pleasure to eat in a place where you feel peoples passion for their profession. As for the dishes, the flavors were there! It was really very, very good. All four dishes we ate were excellent. We often tend to say pasta, I could make it at home, but believe me, there, they really have that little something extra that we look for in pasta made in a restaurant. I highly recommend the sangrias! They are very good and in generous quantities as we like them, you can go there with your eyes closed, trust me. The only criticism I would make is that the pizzas seem a little small or rather, let s say average in size. BUT, Im used to European standards, where they are thin and wide so this may be due to my personal perception of the dish. Nevertheless, the taste of the pizzas is excellent! And if you still have a little room after the pizza, I encourage you to have the crème brûlée. A real delight! Vegetarian dishes and childrens options are also on the menu. Dietary restrictions are respected: being personally intolerant to onions, they took the time to tell me which dishes contained them. Thanks to them for this attention. Well deserved 5 stars. If I could not select any stars this would be exactly the service we had. We were only a group of 13 people and not many people in the restaurant and we were there for almost 1h30 with only wine only to be told that there was an error in our orders and that they had to take back all of our orders. orders. At this point we decided to leave since the service and ambiance was terrible. There was almost no one left in the restaurant and they dimmed the lights so much that we could barely see each other... This was the final straw and we all left. The manager didnt even apologize. He was on top of his business. He really lost a great opportunity to represent the restaurant well, phew... Really so much!!!!]

Recently, 13 of our family members went there for a meal. When booking, there were to be 15 of us. We were told that considering our number, that it would be $50 per person and that everyone would have to choose a starter, a main course and a dessert. When arriving at the restaurant, one person had withdrawn considering the price and the obligation to have 3 dishes. It was obvious that the formula was not suitable for everyone, especially for older people who do not have this appetite. Upon receipt of the menu, which was very abbreviated compared to the regular menu, considering that there was almost no one left except us in the restaurant, it was obvious that no formula of 3 choices of dishes was worth $50. Another person then left. We then kindly asked, as there were now less than 15 of us, if we could have the full menu. We were completely turned around by the manager who was even arrogant! We still decided to stay and be patient. After 1:30 of waiting for our imposed order, the waitress came to tell us that there was an error in the orders in the kitchen, that we had to take them back. We got up, explained our dissatisfaction to the manager, who never apologized for the situation. We went to the Shaker next door, where we were received like kings in a more than reasonable time. We were finally able to have a good time.

Simply delicious as a restaurant! We recommend, superb discovery! A cozy atmosphere with its old side which gives it its charm. We will definitely return there on our way to Gaspésie on our next trip! Welcoming and friendly staff as well as its owner. We recommend it without exception, it s worth the detour! Friendly restaurant in downtown Rimouski with very good Italian dishes, including several vegetarian ones. We all really liked our dishes as well as the service, which was very attentive. The portions are very generous. Good wine list. No reservations were possible during our visit, but there were a few tables available on site, so we had very little wait when we arrived. Parking is quite easy nearby (public parking). Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options in starters as well as main dishes.

The decor and the waiter were very nice but unfortunately it ended there since the pizza had already been pre-cut and the pasta (which lacked flavor) was really overcooked despite my requests. A visit to Italy is a must!

Way too expensive food for the price. Like crazy expensive.

Nothing to complain about the food. The Lindécis dish was great (half spaghetti bologuaise + sautéed mushrooms + large meatball, half spaghetti alfredo sauce with lots of Matane shrimp). The pasta was cooked perfectly and the meal was hot. The accompanying bread was not up to the standard of the dish however; a little dry and cold white bread. There could be improvement to be made. The service was quite ordinary. It wasnt bad service, but it wasnt welcoming or warm in any way. The lounge music was pleasant.

I called last Tuesday for a reservation for Saturday March 2nd for a group of 18 soccer parents. We only had an hour and a half. They suggested 5 dishes given the rush time and to ensure turnaround time. After 1h15, everything was done! Impeccable service, hot and succulent meals, wow . The group is unanimous, it s a big 100% recommendation, thank you!

A nice surprise for an establishment that looks modest from the outside! Very good value for money. The mushroom arancini were appreciated by all the guests, the same for each of the pasta dishes, as for the veal escalope. The desserts were undoubtedly homemade as advertised and very enjoyable (honorable mention to the cheesecake as well as the fudgy brownie and the sugar tart).

Very good service! Gentle and attentive waitress. An employee served us water every 5 minutes. Good choice of meals, we had difficulty deciding! The meals arrived within a reasonable time, despite forgetting to bring us our onion ring, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our plates! We recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone who visits Rimouski!

Dinner between young students which went well until the time to pay their bill when the manager did not forget to mention to them that their tip was not generous enough! Wow! Next time, they will spend their little student pay elsewhere and tip reasonably like they always do!

Very nice atmosphere and decent food, however the owner was a little stupid at the entrance, she was the one who helped us find a table and it was later that I knew she was the owner .

Ordinary food pizza horrible

The food is perfect. The service too. The tables are too close for my personal bubble. Neighboring customers were seated 8 inches from me. Family atmosphere. I will definitely return but would ask for a slightly more clear table.

A little smile at the reception would have been appreciated at the start. Something that is not new in the restaurant industry today.

Excellent pasta and lasagna, in a friendly retro atmosphere

Arriving at the restaurant the reception was very unpleasant and horribly unprofessional. We waited a good 20 minutes for a table (there was no queue). The lady at reception was stupid and even seemed to be in management. When we sat down the server service was not better. We ate spaghetti and lasagna. Both very very ordinary. In short, we stayed less than an hour, because everything made our experience very unpleasant.

Good table, value for money is reasonable.

The girl doesnt know shes responding to me... can you find out please? She comes back to tell me that the kitchens are finally closed...(the site indicates 10:00 p.m. for closing) I have already placed my order and I am 1 minute away on foot. Sorry its closed... For the hostel, impeccable stay for the price. Very comfortable bed. Well insulated/soundproofed room but air conditioning a little noisy. For meals, spaghetti house, very good service, price a little high for the quantity (especially for starters) but quite good. Quite satisfied, I will return there for the hostel but maybe not for the food.

Not the best experience Ive had for a family dinner. Nothing extraordinary on the food side but the decoration is nice. Waiting more than 30 after ordering. Decent dish but nothing extra compared to the price... My hot cheese starter was cold inside... The Caesar salad had leaves that were starting to rot. No sauce in it... The spaghetti bolognese on the childrens menu had a spicy sauce without it being indicated.

Without more or less, beautiful warm atmosphere. For our part the service was so so, a table forgotten right in the waitress traffic, as soon as she arrived she left, lack of respect towards the customer! From taking our order we waited 45 minutes before receiving our dish, I looked at the tables around us and the service was very smooth! Nice generous plate of pasta but for the taste without oh la! My boyfriends lasagna was perfect!

They re busy with only one waitress raking the order, I guess was one of the owners. In general looks a classic spot in the city with nice quality and generous portions.

Visited this restaurant for my birthday and it was a blast ! The manager recommended pasta in sauce au Porte. It was my first time trying this sauce and I was quite hesitant. But he was kind to reassure us and the dish was absolutely amazing. Vegetarian lasagna was a bit disappointing however. Dessert was a sugar tart which was also excellent. Overall great experience and great food.

We werent expecting to have dinner at this restaurant, but there were no seats left anywhere. I have to admit it was a nice surprise. Lots of atmosphere, fair price, good portions, service was very good. What we ordered: - Thin garlic dough - Caesar salad - Homemade spaghetti bolognese We like: - Affordable and interesting wines - The taste of spaghetti straight from my childhood - Generous portions We like less: - A little disappointed by the extra Italian meatball (singular). I will start by congratulating the teams work in light of the traffic. I really liked the lobster arancini starter, excellent mix of flavors. As a dish, the shrimp and lobster risotto was very good but I would have liked the lobster hot and not cold.

Tuesday, October 26, 2021 around 6:30 p.m. during my visit. Delicious meal: starter of Parmesan fondue and mushroom lasagna. I also tasted the penne chèvre and sausages as well as the fettuccini alfredo with shrimps. Good courteous service.

We have been to this restaurant a few times, the food is excellent, the service is professional. For a good spaghetti this is the place.

A warm atmosphere, delicious dishes all in a setting full of history in the heart of downtown Rimouski, a magnificent city located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Its a must!
