Looks like a nice place, but was very loud inside. We were there for supper on a snowmobile trip. Service was poor, we waited an hour for our orders to be taken, once the food came half of it was cold, then it took another hour to get our bills.
We ordered our food very near closing time as we had just gotten to our hotel. It was done quickly, and it was absolutely perfect. The people working there were very accommodating as well. Unfortunately I don't speak any French but they made sure that wasn't going to be a problem. Probably the best meal we had while on our long weekend getaway. We had wings, fries, Buffalo burger and fish tacos. A++
Good food but not very accommodating if you do not speak French. Server was quite disgusted that I spoke English. A one point when trying to say thank you in French, a comment was made by the server to which she, another staff member and other patrons laughed at me. Did not check in once I had my food and was ignored until I asked for my bill. I understand the language barrier is difficult but it is for both parties. I would have liked to have spent more time and money as I had time to kill however it was not welcoming.

Took a drive along the Gaspesie with my nephew and niece to get outside our local area as a day trip, stopped to find Le Cage the only open sit down restaurant we could find that allowed us to stop, sit and eat. It was a great experience, waitress and waiters were patient with us, spoke both languages, waited on the two kids who had no idea what to eat and in the end we had a buffet at the table. Not once did we feel rushed or out of place. The other customers were staggered to avoid being close to one another, all the safety material were available and I my heart goes out to the workers who have to wear those masks. I gave them 5 stars because of all of that! FYI we had way to much food but the kids didn't care. It wasn't our cooking. Thanks to the team there for making it feel somewhat normal during this time.
Rimouski pleassse step up your pub game because anything else would be much better than this overpriced undertasting simili club-pub place that shouldn’t have survived past the 90s. Merci

Music was very, very loud during our supper at the point my husband and I could barely have a conversation together. Its really pub style +++ which I get but game changer was when I got soggy fries that tasted like fish, no thanks!! The server was kind. The music was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a conversation with my husband during our dinner. Yes, its Pub style +++ I was not impressed by the disgusting, cold, fishy-tasting fries on my plate with my chicken sandwich. The server was good.

At the time, it was known for its exceptional chicken wings, and I was excited to introduce this place to my husband, who is new to the area. To make matters worse, the flavor options were incredibly limited, with only three choices available. Compared to the vibrant and diverse menu I remembered, it was a disappointment. Portion size was another issue. We ordered a plate of 16 wings with a portion of poutine/fries and a drink each. Even at the price of $90, we left the restaurant still hungry. The 16 small wings and sides just werent enough to satisfy us. Considering the cost, limited flavors of the wings, and portion size, I was extremely disappointed with this dining experience. I had hoped to relive nostalgic memories and came away with a feeling of regret. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my recent visit. Worst meal of my life in a sports cage. Very ordinary service. It took 3x to get my meal and the last time it wasnt right. The waitress said: I dont understand why! Thats all! Im not going back there anymore. No customer service
The restaurant is typically in the North American style. The burger was very good but unfortunately a little overcooked, as were the fries. The service was very cheerful and welcoming but on the other hand, our dish took 45 minutes to arrive, which is a bit of a shame. But its still a good experience.
Out of 8 people, 4 plates (anything that involved frying) were way overcooked. Damage ;(

Very ordinary place. After 2-3 times there its enough to say that Ill never come back here. Undercooked squid, overcooked meat, its been 5 minutes since you received your starter before the main meal arrives... very little service on site (the waitress never comes to see us and doesnt stop chatting). Honestly, I only recommend it as a last resort.
Contrary to what one might believe, it is not just a simple junk food restaurant. There is a lot of diversity in the dishes offered and the dishes are more than adequate or even very good. The service is great in a very relaxed atmosphere
Satisfactory experience, but service lacking enthusiasm and location a little outside the action (industrial district of Rimouski). Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burgers, Asian fried tofu sticks (very good), Pidzz, Grilled Tofu Poké, salads (beets and goat cheese, Caesar without bacon), onion petals, fried cauliflower bites, etc.

We finally had a little time to ourselves! We felt like a sports brasserie, we wanted to listen to the Canadiens match... Decent meal, nothing more. Quite expensive for a imitation club that drips with every bite. Didnt really like our overall experience, the waitress contributed... Black hair, piercing near the mouth. Definitely in our top 5 worst experiences with a waitress. Rarely seen such a condescending attitude... perhaps she is embittered by her years of working in the restaurant business? You ask her a question, you seem to bother her. Gives you fake smiles and rolls his eyes as he leaves you. Fruit fly in the service, no: we are sorry or we apologize. Kind of face of exasperation, doesnt say a word, takes the glass again and brings another one... little notions of customer service to review. I assure you, we are far from being unpleasant or complicated customers! Pretty ordinary service.

Always great service. The food is of good quality and it is possible to have a good choice of burgers and beers. Smiling staff and the tipping machine still starts at 15% which is rare these days. :D Parking: Easy to park there, I have a truck (Pick-up) and it goes everywhere.

Everything was perfect!
The fish tacos were excellent, I was really surprised, the rest was normal. The presentations and the plates are beautiful. The super nice waiter (Raphaël) Thank you! The barn wood on the walls gives a beautiful style.
La Cage is always a pretty noisy place, but when we go to this place we know what to expect so its a choice whether to go there or not.
2023 means more expensive for less on the plate...

Disappointed with the food, the steak with pepper sauce was barely coated with sauce, I had to ask for more, and the thickness of the steak was ridiculous. Luckily the waitress was super nice.

Super good service, really friendly and attentive. My dish was excellent (avocado toast with salad), just spicy enough, healthy and still very tasty. I seriously only have positive things to say about my visit to this place.

You dont have to be out much to like the food there! Fishn ship the worst I have eaten. So greasy and overcooked that it had no taste. The ravioli, the sauce had lots of lumps. Overpriced too. This place has changed a lot.

Waitress not very attentive to food allergies, only offering to consult the allergen menu online (which I had to Google myself (fortunately, I had my cell phone), not understanding that it ONLY contains PRIORITY allergens and what are they Besides, I searched for the menu for so long that my colleagues had time to finish their meal (menu in the Order for takeout and delivery option found later in the evening) and Im crossing my fingers that the version found was the most up to date because nothing was confirmed to me Phew! And add to that that the quality-price ratio was ordinary.
