Wow wow wow. The food here was just to die for, the lamb crepe was like nothing we’ve ever tasted and was perfect. The dessert crepe was also delicious and had nice whipped cream. Would 100% come here again.

A little expensive for the whole family but the service is absolutely outstanding, friendly, helpful and happy. The people genuinely want to be doing what they are doing. The food is super tasty (we had the wrap, the chocolate croissant and the oatmeal) and high quality. The coffee is very fresh and delicious. Thank you, merci for the experience!
Pretty extensive breakfast menu including bagels, wraps (one of which is a vegan tofu breakfast burrito), oatmeal, and yogurt. Some of these are relatively expensive but at 10$ the oatmeal is a pretty good deal for the quality and quantity. Definitely the best oatmeal I’ve had at a cafe. The coffee is good and included with the breakfast. Also, the staff are friendly and there is indoor and covered outdoor seating. Overall, would highly recommend. My one critique is that the breakfast combo is advertised as including fresh fruit but we were not served any.

I was looking for good coffee. The clerk suggested the Viel blend to me. good suggestion, exactly what I was looking for. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Terrace. And it s on the Laf.

For a warm and very enjoyable morning experience, this is the perfect place. The service is really great, a personalized service where you feel considered. The menu is very varied, offering vegan and vegetarian choices, as well as being good.

This cafe is a gem of Quebec! Excellent coffee, the artisanal crepe using Gaspesie smoked ham could win at any masterchef competition and I can say the same of their waffles and their oatmeal with fruit. We were here every morning for breakfast during our stay at rivière du loup. Many thanks to Stefan and all the staff for their wonderful hospitality!

Very good service and ok atmosphere, but the latte was more of an Americano (filter coffee with milk) and the menu not much for someone who wants a snack and not a big meal. Lots of sugar, not much health...

Our favourite stop for morning coffee and a bite during our stops in Rivière-du-Loup. The oatmeal bowl is one of the best we ve had and you can t go wrong with the breakfast sandwich and amandine. Coffee and food always piping hot and fresh.
We were there for lunch (4). A must-have! The place is full of flavors and it smells like happiness! All dishes were tasty and generous portions. Sweet poutine is a must!! Go for it! You will be delighted!
My favorite spot for coffee and breakfast in Rivière du Loup. The apple, honey caramel and cheese curd crepe is magical. Superb cozy place and attentive staff.

La soupe y est excellente. Par contre nous nous sommes présentés et il n y avait plus de choix dans les présentoirs ( aucune viennoiseries). Lorsque nous avons voulu un thé glacé les employés se questionnaient à savoir s il était encore bon ! Je doute que ce commerce va survivre à long terme si l offre alimentaire se détériore versus de plus grand commerçant..
Tasty coffee with several options for plant based milks. We tried the vegan sandwich (only vegan option) and it was delicious. Highly recommend.
We stopped for breakfast and cappuccinos before starting a long day on the road. Coffee was good, breakfast wraps were delicious and a very generous size! The granola bars were also very tasty. Service was friendly and accommodating of our toddler :) Would definitely recommend and would return if ever passing through again.

Yeah, moldy sandwiches were lying around the counter, the employees seemed surprised. After reading the other reviews, I see that it is regular. Afterwards, nothing appealed, the biscuit/pastries counter also seemed a little fresh As for the coffee, I had a medium espresso (sic), I was expecting a doppio espresso, Im still not sure what I got: a failed doppio or an espresso that was way too long... Too bad, it seemed like a nice place and well located

Several gluten-free items on the menu, but after ordering I was informed that they do not have the breads at the moment. So I had a choice of only two salads. The salad was still very good! The other two orders had errors and did not receive what was requested

Local business. Excellent location just right in downtown. Gentle service, good Prices. They have a space outside with chairs and tables. There are 2 different sections inside. The small one is perfect to work in a private spot. Coffe was really good. They have high chair for the little ones. There is a baby changing table. Not pressure to leave.

I passed by there by chance because, while trying to go to another place during this period of lack of staff and restaurants closed because of you know what, we finally found a restaurant open on a Monday!!!! You absolutely have to go there not only to encourage our independent businesses but also for the quality of the cuisine, the coffee and the unique atmosphere!! Bravo and above all, dont give up!!! It s not in the big chains that you can talk to the owner in person!!!

Corsican cafe that tasted like water. Lunch wrap for $18 with my moldy grapes on my plate and no red peppers in my wrap and very weak double cappuccino honestly very disappointed. Luckily we were just passing through but pretty dull to start the day like that! Very good service from the young girls on the other hand $34 with tip for that a steal

Friendly welcome, warm service, and much appreciated family atmosphere. On the other hand, when it comes to coffee, it s really not that. An espresso that flows in 4 seconds is not normal (an espresso flows in at least 20-25 seconds). No cream. I dont drink my espresso because its such a failure and bring it back as is at the checkout, mentioning that its undrinkable, and I order a cortado instead, which itself could be improved (foaming temperature much too high, no microfoam) but still drinkable. At any other coffee shop the barista apologizes and offers you the cortado or refunds you for the espresso. Here I paid for both.

Very good coffee, I tried their robusta espresso which I made with my Breville barista express and the result is very satisfactory. The beans are fresh and there is a generous amount of crema after extraction.

Friendly staff. In the heart of the City Center
The food is okay, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Of the 3 waitresses, only one was really nice and smiling, the others had an unpleasant attitude, because it seemed like they were not comfortable with their work. It was 10am and the bathroom was not clean, apparently the trash from the day before had not been removed. Its a shame that bad service ruins the restaurants reputation.
Bagels are very, very good for breakfast.

We ate there all day. All the coffees and matchas are impeccable, the same goes for the dinners: absolutely delicious! The sandwiches and salads are fresh and well stocked, however the smoothies are not very generous. The atmosphere is still very warm, you feel at home, the service is courteous. Affordable prices, good food, very good coffee!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I went to this cafe around 11:15 this morning. I ask if it is still possible to order an item from the lunch menu (which ends at 11:00 a.m.). The person serving me takes the time to ask the kitchens if it is possible and the answer is yes. Once the invoice is issued, I realize that I dont have my wallet left in my car parked far enough away. As I prepare to cancel my order, the girl serving me tells me to eat my meal and come back to pay later. They come and serve me my meal outside and everything is done with a big smile. Thank you for serving me breakfast outside of scheduled hours. Thank you for the quality of the meal. Thank you for impeccable service and thank you for your trust. I will leave Rivière du Loup with the conviction that the people there are very professional and very human.

The poor barista behind the counter! It was very busy and she was working all alone. She was wonderfully helpful, patient, and friendly. The coffee and sandwiches were great! We really enjoy this place. Clearly more coffee shops need to open before 9 a.m. on a Saturday in Riviere du Loup!

My iced decaf oat half sweet chocolate syrup latte in my personal takeout mug made the 7 hour drive from Ottawa mostly worth it. Good music and a clean washroom to seal the delightful deal. PLUS: zero mockery other than from my husband for my ridiculous coffee order.
ENTRY-EXIT, UNFORTUNATELY WE DID NOT TAKE ANY RISKS.....THE OWNER DID NOT FOLLOW THE HEALTH RULES RECOMMENDED BY PUBLIC HEALTH: HE WAS NEITHER MASK OR VISOR OR GLOVES AT ANY TIME. YET IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS GOES FORGAIN WHEN YOU HANDLING FOOD, KNOWING THAT COVID IS STILL PRESENT AND ACTIVE. IT MUST PROTECT HIS CUSTOMERS. FOR ME THIS IS AN OFFENSE SO A FINE IS REQUIRED!!!
