Perfect place to have a meal with children. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, colored pencils offered for children, childrens meals on the menu, friendly and helpful staff to make the experience interesting for children.

Great food, busy spot

I really enjoyed my experience at this Normandin. The staff were particularly courteous, young and polite, which added a nice touch to the experience. The food was hot and freshly prepared, a real treat. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the dining room, well appointed and up to date, offered a warm and friendly atmosphere. Only downside: the menus at our table were very dirty and sticky, a detail that deserves a little more attention. Overall, a great experience, and I will definitely return! Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available and wax crayons and drawings to color so they can draw while waiting.

Very bad experience for a dinner, waiting time, waitress not listening to the customer, from start to finish. The manager came to see me, I informed him of everything that had happened since our arrival, he offered me our meal, he even saw the burnt bread from my club and then charged me the total amount of our meal after having spent 1 hour 15 minutes at the restaurant. We are customers of Normandin hotels and restaurants, we have never been treated this way. Please note that this review concerns the Rivière du Loup restaurant only.

I had a chocolate-banana crepe. The price is $19 plus tax, which is way too expensive for the quantity. The wait was 1:15. In addition, the pancakes were dry, and the bananas were too early and therefore too hard, or almost expired: very soft. The chocolate was good, but the texture was gelatinous. I strongly advise against this place. To be used as a last resort

Excellent restaurant and fast service

Just WOWWWWW I didnt expect that in my order: butter, mayonnaise, ketchup, hot fries, succulent pizza, very fast service and, then the delivery man, what more can I say? Nothing, he was perfect, polite, courteous, fast, poor him in the cold it is now. I had tipped as much as possible, if I had hot chocolate or coffee ready I would have offered it to him. The worst Normandy in Quebec! We ordered our lunch, 20 minutes later the coffee finally arrived! 20 minutes later the waitress comes by with her coffee maker and completely ignores us! After 55 minutes the first dish arrives and the waitress tells me that my dish is cooking and that I should have it in 15 to 20 minutes! Well let s see! Me and my sister got up and left.. The table near us also left. The manager was walking around the aisles not helping the waitresses without even serving the coffee! I am a regular at Normandin but the one at Riviere du loup should be avoided..If there was a 0 as a plinth I would have put 0 on all the points

Arrived at 10:40 a.m. Its 11:25 a.m. and we still havent received our order. The restaurant is almost empty. In addition, the gentleman at reception seems to have forgotten his smile at home after emptying his bottle of perfume on his shirt.

We were there quickly from the ferry departure time. The employees were understanding and the service was excellent.

Inexperienced staff which caused long delays in taking our order, after having collected the menu myself! Unfortunately, the ordered starter was never served, three errors out of 5 meals (bad dishes). The dishes were placed very (very) quickly on our table, without the clerk asking if everything was okay with us.. What is most disappointing is that the waiter did not receive our comments at all when paying our bill!

Very busy on a construction holiday Saturday! Service saved by Kelly who replaced the completely overwhelmed waitress! Very long waiting time after ordering. But meal ok!

The service excellent. We ordered 2 lasagnas and they got the order wrong. We waited a long time... we were on the road. Well go to the Subway across the street next time

What lousy service, endless waiting time for a Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m., not that many people in the dining room, more than 40 minutes of waiting and still nothing on the table. ! No glasses of water brought, forced to say that utensils were missing, as my 11 year old grandson pointed out, they seem really disorganized, so disappointed! Rest assured that this restaurant will no longer be part of our choices in the future.

Déjeuners vraiment pas super bons. Menu très restreint avec peu de choix comparé à compétiteurs, et les crêpes au chocolat sont servies avec du coulis à saveur de chocolat (genre ce qui est mis sur les sundaes), même pas du vrai chocolat. Personnel très sec aussi, pas impoli mais pas très chaleureux. Expérience désagréable et décevante sur l ensemble.

The breakfast poutine was good but not very hot. As usual in this chain the service is much slower than in comparable chains. There are fast charging stations for electric vehicles. Parking: Some fast charging stations.

A waitress who obviously doesnt know how to manage her stress threw a tantrum at us when, after 20 minutes of sitting we still hadnt been served, we asked for our orders to be taken. Fortunately, another very nice waitress, Daphné, came to take over. A1 service but she had to work harder because of the other really rude waitresses. Very normal food... really disgusting atmosphere because of some bad-tempered waitresses.

We went there for lunch, the service was very long and the coffee was really not good!

I loved the calm and warm atmosphere. The waitress quickly came to serve us when we arrived and took our order. I loved the kitchen. I had a plate of fruit pancakes I recommend it was 2 pancakes with a lot of fruit but really a lot. I managed to finish the plate which means that the price and quantity is responsible Vegetarian options: There were pancakes and vegetarian lunch pizzas.

Very long service and especially at the door to get a seat

My mother and I went to lunch on 2024-07-16 around dinner time and the music was so loud. Even the Cage aux sports is not as noisy as that. The waitress told us that its because of the boss that its so loud and that if it was the manager the sound would be less loud. Dear sir, your banner is not a disco. You can be more reasonable about the noise level.

A bit long for lunch. But plenty of places available, the waitresses very chatty and polite. Maybe next time as a stop on a trip.

This is not the first time that I have ordered from this Normandy and each time it always takes too long. Order placed at 11:10 a.m. for a pizza and its 1:00 p.m. still not received. They say that there is always a difference between what they are told and what is taken down. No number to reach us.... Ive never had this kind of problem elsewhere

When ordering eggs Benedict, I specify that the poached eggs must have a runny yolk. The plate arrives, but with a well-cooked egg yolk. I ask to make the eggs again. Another plate comes back after 20 minutes with an even better cooked egg yolk. The waitress Daphne was understanding and took the situation seriously. However, I dont know what was happening in the kitchen.

More than 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting for two pancakes, mediocre coffee and hard-cooked poached eggs. The fact that they didnt think to warn a family with two young children that it would take too long is a shame. Let us highlight the efforts of the waitress who was clearly uncomfortable to offer us yet another pot of coffee and fruit loops to calm the children down. Having known we would have moved on to Tim quickly.

The children got their plates 20 minutes before us. There was no more quinoa so I was directed to the general tao bowl which was dry and cold. No service we got up to get some mayo. Go somewhere else.

If you want the worst service in Quebec, youve come to the right place. Imagine that you arrive at 11:50 a.m. and that at 1:50 p.m. you leave feeling hungry. Family of 4, with two children, and the waitress took away anything for the children instead of what they had asked for. And later dont take away their dessert! My wife and I had the smallest smoked meat sandwich I have ever seen. It measured 3cm x 5cm with a slice of smoked meat folded into 4! And to add insult to injury... we had to wait 25 minutes for the bill. So poor service, incomplete service, incredibly small portion, and waste of money and time.

Friendly family restaurant

The food that arrived was good. We placed a decent sized order for our family of 5, but one of the main parts of the meal didnt arrive and that was the pizza. I called the restaurant, as this was a delivery and they assured me the driver would be back shortly with my pizza. It never came! Never got a refund! Never got a call! Very unprofessional.

The staff should be trained to greet customers, 5 minutes in the entrance to wait without hello nor it will not be long with a constant coming and going of staff!

Unsmiling waitresses, it took a long time before they came to assign us a place. We were 3 families, she didnt ask us how it worked for the bills, and only made one.

Unfortunately the restaurant was not very clean and we were there for lunch. Courteous but slow service. Decent lunch, nothing more.

The wait was interminable for more than 25 minutes in line while several tables in the open sections were available. Once seated in our place, our attentive and friendly waitress brings us not glasses of water but tasting glasses filled with water. We ordered table d hôte lunches. The contents of the plates were cold and stiff, not to mention the pancakes which all seemed to have been made in the same batch in 2010. The soft and unripe fruit complemented well with the outdated chocolate milk from the neighboring table. A disappointing experience that I wouldnt wish anyone else to experience.

During our stay in Rivière-du-Loup, we had dinner at this restaurant. Everything was impeccable and delicious. A Family Restaurant Chain that is part of a sure bet in eastern Quebec. A treat for our palate

Dinner with my partner, waitress cold and not present for customers, the dishes were hot but the meat was dry and overcooked. The icing on Sunday, a nice indigestion around 4:00 p.m. after an afternoon with stomach aches. First and last time for this restaurant $50 lost for being sick as a dog.
